I had a fantastic time at this Mexican restaurant! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, checking on us often and offering great suggestions. The drinks were delicious, especially the margaritas, which packed a punch. Definitely a must visit if you're in the area!

I was in Tampa for the weekend and was looking for a place to eat dinner. So I googled and found this one. Read the reviews and they seem to be good so I decided to try it. Food was good and placed was decorated nice. We ordered the shrimp tacos and 1 chicken tostada and 1 steak tostada. All of it tasted delicious. I recommend to try it out if you are in area.

The food here is authentic and awesome! These guys had a endless selection of alcoholic drinks. The food took a little longer than expected, but in the end it was really good. Staff was friendly and even gifted us a pen. I would love to come back here.

By the beard of Poseidon, this be no mere tavern but a treasure trove of culinary delight! The vittles, aye, were as hot as a cannonball fresh from the fire and as delicious as gold doubloons plundered from a Spanish galleon. The portions? Great Neptune’s trident, they be fit fer a crew of hungry buccaneers—enough to fill even the belly of the greediest seadog! Now, let me spin ye a yarn ‘bout the service—our waiter, a swashbuckler of charm and grace, did cater to our every whim. He was attentive as a lookout in a crow’s nest and as helpful as a first mate hoisting the sails in a storm. No grog ran dry, no plate sat empty, and not a soul left without a hearty “Arrr!” of satisfaction. And the value? By Davy Jones’ locker, it be as fair as a merchant’s trade on calm waters. Gold well spent, says I, fer the bounty received. Señor Tequila be a port I’ll gladly sail to again and again, me hearties! So hoist the anchor and steer yer ship toward this haven of flavor. Ye won’t need a map to find Señor Tequila—just follow the scent of adventure and the clinking of full plates and happy mugs! Yarrr!

Great authentic .exican restraunt. All the food was outstanding, particularly the huge super burrito and mojkahete. Drinks were large ND tasty, prices are on point, and service was very good as well. If you're in the area, a d love mexican food, it's a must try.

Wow! Definitely one of the most authentic Mexican restaurants in the Tampa area! The drinks are hand crafted with in-house, homemade dehydrated fruits. The selection of tequila is superb and I seriously recommend the guacamole! The service is excellent and Edgar is the man to get! He's literally the best! I cannot say enough good things about the food quality here as you just need to check it out yourself to get the full experience! They have fantastic lunch specials and covered outdoor seating that is perfect when it gets cooler out!

I am a huge fan of this place. I discovered it years ago when they first opened in Carrollwood. They had evening mariachi bands some evenings, not sure if they still do, but it is fun. But their margaritas and food are amazing. I've never had a bad experience here!

I ordered the Molcajete, it was plenty of food, and it is delicious. The rock bowl kept the food warm the entire time. The steak tacos were also delicious. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere is great. I recommend this restaurant.

Senor Tequila is my favorite Mexican restaurant. From their lunch or dinner menu, it's all delicious! I've had several different meals & it's always fresh in taste. Once the plate hits your table & then that first bite, I promise you will come back for more.

Edgard Morales service is without equal. Very personable, knowledgeable of the menu and preparation in light of food allergies in our group. We started with the Guacamole with chips. Delicious lime flavor! Next we ordered Steak Tacos Mejicanos, Shrimp Al mojo and Chicken Tapatio. You need to come in hungry as the portions are generous. The food was very flavorful and well prepared. The food was delicious but at the end I feel the service makes the difference. I will be back to give a try to the other delicious drink and food choices.

Beautiful presentation and delicious flavor not overpriced do not skip their cocktails my favorite is the skinny Margarita is always done right ! The service by Ana was fabulous 👌 Big menu you can't go wrong with any selection. There is lively music 🎶 playing not necessarily mexican I enjoyed !Last night I ate salmon topped with mango pico de gallo rice and mixed grilled veggies absolutely scrumptious veggies .I been visiting this location for 3 years and never disappoints same chef on back still dependable and on point ! MY WHOLE PARTY ages 60 to 85 enjoyed it found it very tasty ! Even on a Saturday there were tables available as well as outside which on a cool night is cool to do ! Do not pass up on this Mexican restaurant with good vibes good menu and great service! Good chips and salsa offered complimentary.

I have given this establishment more tries than I should have. Every single time the service is awful. Waited for 15 minutes to be acknowledged, another 15 to get our drinks and they forgot the water. Never refilled the water and had to flag people down to get a refill of water and another 20 minute wait for another cocktail and it was empty. Ordered our food, and 3 different people asked what my friend ordered as my food was brought out. Another 10 minutes for them to come ask again what my friend ordered while my food got cold. The beef tacos were bland and dry, the taquitos barely had filling in them. They never checked on us again for another drink, never noticed empty water glasses and had to flag down someone to take my payment so we could go elsewhere for drinks. This has been repeated behavior the last 3 visits so will not give them another chance.

Senior Tequila started off strong — those chips and dip came out like a promise from heaven, crispy, warm, and honestly the only reason I didn’t walk out early. Then everything after that fell apart like a bad relationship. The drink options were tragic — Coke, Sprite, and Fanta, that’s it. And guess what? The Sprite was out of syrup, so I ended up drinking flat Coke and disappointment. Then came the Nachos de Fajita, and man… I should’ve taken it as a red flag when they asked if I wanted steak or chicken, then tried to upcharge me $7 just to mix them. Seven dollars. To let two meats coexist. I went with steak — big mistake. The cheese was cold, the steak strips tasted like beef jerky that lost a fight, and the whole thing looked like a high school cafeteria experiment gone wrong. And just when I thought it couldn’t get worse, they hit me with a $5 charge for a baby-sized cup of pico and sour cream. Like, are we paying by the molecule now? If you just want chips and dip, you’re in luck — they nailed that.

Service was good! When we arrived at chips and salsa came out the chips feel like they were for me cooked yesterday. They were hard and not very fresh. Order sampler platter and the sampler platter look like it was from a previous order or something because of cheese and a nachos, it melted rubbery, greasy and cold. We often visit your location, but the food today was totally below standards you’ve had in the last months or so. Disappointed in the food won’t be back.
