Issin Japanese Restaurant

Delightful culinary experience! I highly suggest savoring their exquisite Sugar Plum Wine—a true delight. The cuisine was not only delicious but also served in generous portions. Additionally, they offer a tempting sushi menu on the side. The only drawback was the service, but overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my time! Merry Christmas!

The food was great! The staff was amazing. We went with our 2 children, and the teppanyaki chef was so great doing the fire show when the kids asked. Portion sizes were perfect.

Wow. What a surprise. The lunch set of cod fish was amazing. BBQ cod was the best. I could not stop praising it while eating. In addition to the romantic oceanview, waitresses and waiters were all considerate. The restaurant should be reviewed by 6 instead of 5 out of 5 only.

Issin is a Japanese restaurant at the 4th floor of Westin Hotel. We love to come here to have close to authentic Japanese food (since we are from Japan) this is close to what we have at home. Food is good and the atmosphere is giving Japanese vibe. Special thanks to Mayo and Katrina for their exceptional service.

Excellent intimate dining experience. The food was very delicious. The service was impeccable. The ambience was on point. It was a relaxing evening and I am glad I had that experience. I highly recommend.

My traditional Japanese go to spot. Quiet, with a beautiful view. There are also private rooms for larger groups.

Got the tenderloin and shrimp teppan dinner. Steak was cooked perfectly and tender, vegetables seasoned well, mushrooms were delicious! Side salad also had one of the best dressings I’ve tried. Only downside of the meal was that the shrimp was a bit too salty for my taste. Would go again but just get steak next time!

Good sushi but it's not that special at the same time. I can't not help to recommend this place because I couldn't have found a better sushi place than this one.

저녁 메뉴 맛 괜찮은 편 전체적으로 1인분 양이 많음. 우동스키, 스시, 치킨 괜찮았음. 후식으로 아이스크림도 줌 클럽메리어트 20% 할인

I would rate the food dinner set 8/10. Environment is perfect for couple as well if you are looking for a quiet place to dine in. Also, just an appreciation for Ms. Lani who gave us indeed a good customer service. She offered us to take pictures and dessert. Although I see how tired they are from serving customers she still manage to smile. This is the type of service that every customer should received.

It was very tasty. The sauce was not salty, which is rare in Guam. The staff was friendly.

値段なりのものが出てきますが、魚介類は避けたほうが良いと思います。日本に帰ってから食べましょう。

If you like overpriced food, this place is for you. The price wasn't conducive to the food received. We all left still hungry. With a $350 bill, I expect me and my family to be satisfied. I was excited for this grand reopening, but will sadly not go back. I could've paid 200 for me and family at taste and be satisfied.

My family visited for dinner, and had to wait over an hour for our main dish. When I asked the waitress when the food would be served, she replied, “Be patient.” I felt like she was ignoring me because I was a Korean guest. When I finished my meal and asked her to clear my empty plates, she replied again, “Put it on the table next to you.” I was really disappointed by the level of service that I couldn’t understand. After paying, I called the manager and explained the two things above one by one. Thankfully, the manager was kind and called the waitress to apologize, which made me feel a little better. Still, I won’t go there again. I especially recommend that Korean guests never go there. If you have to go, absolutely avoid the waitress named Rose!!

Unforgivably overpriced.

コロナ以前のことです。 食事中にオーナーが話しかけてくるのですが、従業員に現地の方をたくさん使ってるのに、グアムの方を見下す発言が多く悲しくなりました。 目の前に一生懸命調理をしているスタッフもおり、下手なりに必死でしたのでその姿を見ていてよくそんなことが言えるなと…。 食事も高くて不味い。限定のオプションも食べてみましたが…😔 大好きなホテルで長く利用していますが、このレストランがあることが不思議です。

Service was trash, food was over priced for the portions.

The food is fine here, but certainly not worth the cost. The service from the waiting staff is not great. Our server walked away in the middle of us ordering drinks and didn’t come back for about 15 minutes. Didn’t bring things to us that we ordered, then said she forgot when we asked her again. Overall, probably will try the other teppan spot up the road next time we want Japanese.

Horribly overpriced. $12 for a pint of Asahi $78 for a bottle of red wine which you can buy for $10 Teppanyaki is delicious and well prepared but you receive one carrot slice and one broccoli floret. Waitress continually forgot to bring drink orders. Will not go back.
