El Oasis is a small, three-table restaurant that, being on a corner, opens with large windows having divergent views. It's also COVID safer for the air flow. The food here, cooked by a friendly woman visible through a window to the kitchen, is good. At least, the breakfast famously known as huevos a la Mexicana is good. That's all I've had here to date. That and the coffee with milk. As in Guatemala, there's a surcharge at this restaurant for having a dairy product in coffee.

I had a drink michelada Clamato with Heineken x2 , drinks comes with a free order of potato chorizo tacos . Then I had a shrimp soup and a steak plate . Simply the best. Highly recommend this restaurant for tourist travelers . The staff is over friendly , spot is Safe , very comfortable . And food is just so delicious.

The prepared clamatos are the best thing there. They have a variety of snacks, from aguachile to barbacoa tacos. The only downside is that they close at 6, so I recommend going between 3 and 4 so you can enjoy a good time with your friends/family. The price of a 5-snack pack is $140. (Drinks not included)

Range Cow

The Jefa is close to the hotel I stayed at during my visit to Tapachula. I somehow got the idea it is a bar. It's probably the beer sign out front. I went in one afternoon thinking to drink a beer, but looking around, I saw that obviously La Jefa is a restaurant. There is a chance that the area to the left, upon entering, is a restaurant, while that area on the right is a bar. Yet even then, La Jefa looked like an ordinary beer served there would be mucho, so I left. It does seem like a nice place, in and out.
