When I'm craving Chinese food my family usually chooses this place. They have delivery and dine in. Most places in CA don't have the same dark sauce that I had growing up on the east coast. This place does. The veggies with dark sauce is amazing!

I'm here right now. Yo the food and service is crazy good. Everything is good but my granddaughter order the egg flower soup. Didn't really care for it before. But I loved theirs it has corn in it and is a total game changer. Thanks guys

I really enjoy eating the food from this restaurant. the delivery is always prompt and fresh. I've not had food show up to me and it is cold. The employees seem to take pride in their delicious entrees.

I understand its Friday night but I ordered chicken at 7:35 as stated in the confirmation email, yet its currently 9:18 and no sign of them. Worked in construction allday and just want to eat dinner. Not happy Im spending $20.00+ for this experience. Im a regular there and love there services usually. Hopefully they get here soon.

We have been looking for a good Chinese Restaurant in Temecula and found a good one. Reasonably priced, large selection. A little hard to find. It's in the Home Depot mall but trees block the sign. Look for the HD entrance and it's on the other side of the parking lot. Very busy when I was there.

This is a great place for a fast food kind of Chinese food. Tastes great, portions are huge, and fast. We get the orange chicken, white rice, and noodles everytime we go and they are tasty.

One of my new favorite places. Very clean, tastie, fresh, hot Chinese food. The lunch pricing is very reasonable. Highly recommend.

I would give them 10 stars if I could. It s fresh & Delicious, the best inexpensive chinese food locally. This is one of the only places in southern california that serves "real" sweet and sour chicken just liken I was used to in New England.

The food was so good! I absolutely love everything about my order from the orange chicken to the fried rice/chow mein.

Always my number one choice for asian food. Been a faithful customer for 4 years. Love the food, portions and prices. Always greeted with a friendly smile. The young lady at the ordering counter is always helpful with selecting food items. I truly miss her waiting on us while dining in. So courteous, kind and professional. This is one of our favorite Chinese restaurants in Temecula. The rangoons actually have crab in them! They include a good ratio of protein to veggies in many of their dishes and they don't seem flooded in sauce while still having plenty of sauce. Have ordered from them multiple times and will like order from them again

They have the best Deals on a Dinner to go for Chinese food for the price in the area. I always get the Fish in Bean sauce or Eggplant with Tofu it's spicy. They also make a excellent Seafood Delight always served with rice Great prices. YOU'LL LOVE IT lately I've been getting the curry beef and curry chicken or the beef and bell pepper I always get from the dinner menu for best value. It comes with white rice and each meal is about 11$ but you get plenty I'm here every time I go to town it's that good. Now that this COVID thing hits you need to go only where you trust as well.

We always enjoy the delicious food and today was as Delicious as ever. Delivery is quick and Covid compliant. We highly recommend if you want Fantastic food. Thank You for our Awesome lunch which is very abundant and enuf for another meal.

Amazing food and atmosphere, and the most gracious and accommodating host, Hanna. She makes us feel at home every time we come. We love this restaurant...it's our number one choice when we go out to eat.

House chow mein is one of my favorites

Had to grab a bite to eat on my lunch break and went to China One. They had Honey Walnut Shirmp and this frozen Taro drink. Ooooo that entrée was delicious!!! Not enough walnuts for me. The frozen drink was the best and you can get boba in it too. I need to get more Taro drink. Would definitely recommend this reasturant

Heard about this China One location from my play brother so I finally stopped by to try it out!!! Came during lunch hour, wasn't busy at all so seating was comfortable...but do have to point out that it's VERY COLD if you seat yourself at the table(s) with the air vents directly over them! Service was okay in the beginning but towards the end 100% A+++++ from one of the young men who closed out my bill "Thank You Very Much" FOOD was good and served in a HUGE PORTION.....i did notice on the menu it seemed much...So I asked if I could order 1 lunch meal and jist add 1 side to share with my mother. ( Only Rude Moment) the older waiter told me NO, can not do that...and Mother only wanted Noodles But he said rice had to be the other side. Food DID come quickly...himot and served fresh😉 Portions were VERY LARGE, FELT I could have served 3 person's off 1 plate comfortably, lol Overall people!!!! Good food full of flavor, clean environment, friendly staff. Would I recommend China One to others??? Why of course I would!!!! We'd eat there again ourselves but just may place order for delivery so I can portion plate at home 😉

This is great fast Chinese food. Crab Rangoon. Out of this world. I wonder why no Asian restaurant on the west coast had duck sauce? I have had almost everything in there menu. Amazing soups. And the portions are massive. Even the biggest hunger can be satisfied here.

One of the last lunch specials in town for under $10. You get so much food it is worth it ( and more). I am a big fan of authentic Kung Pao chicken and know a true family recipe when I find one. I highly recommend it. They cook everything fresh in view, they use fresh vegies, and cut meats, and serve it hot off the pan. If you think PandaX is real chinese food you may doop your palet into being critical of China One, But believe me if you know good Chinese food this is the real deal.

It was good food....we are from out of the area (camping at Pechanga RV resort) and wanted some Chinese food for dinner and this place came up under our Google search. It was busy at the time (at dinner time). The portions were good (enough for two meals). We would go back next time we are in town.

So far, this is the best takeout Chinese food restaurant I’ve found in the Temecula area. Keep up the good work and continue bringing us great food!

This place is a gem! They have many many options, such as your standard orange chicken all the way to some squid dish I saw on the menu. They have boba smoothies, and lots of other asian menu items. Their prices are really inexpensive. I went in for lunch and got their green bean chicken lunch special. The plate was huge and it was only 6.95! I couldn't finish it all, even though it was super yummy. You can seat yourself and a waitress comes by and takes your order and gives your your food. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to level up their Chinese take out experience and not go above typical take out prices.

After a long hard day we realized that we had not eaten all day. We had never ordered delivery from a restaurant except pizza. We found the China one restaurant and ordered an amazing selection of sides and could not be more satisfied with all of our experience with this great restaurant. The food was delicious. The containers were secure and packed up securely with no dripping containers. Thank you. 😊

From Tucson Arizona googled a lot of Chinese restaurants here. Very particular about eating Chinese food but it was great. I'd go back when I come back from Arizona. The girl that took my order was very polite and did very well. The only thing that I would think of is to put less sugar in your sauce for the Mongolian beef and make it a little thicker but all good.

Had plans to go to Jersey Mikes but as soon as we walked up and smelled the deliciousness we followed our noses. We got the House Fried Rice and Mongolian Beef. SOOOO SO SO good. Had SO much flavor. Never had Chinese food that had so much flavor. Saving for next time I'm in Temecula.

I am a Chinese food “snob” and this place is legit good! Prices are fair and portions are generous. If you want Chinese take-out on a Friday night than China One will not disappoint 💯

Have eaten just about everything on their menu food is always fresh and hot. If you expect a quick in and out not the place they cook as orders come in. They do offer delivery ,have lunch specials and dinner package that server up to 6 people. Service is fantastic, tables,floors always clean. Food prices I would say are reasonable and more than always enough you'll never leave there hungry!

I gave atmosphere 3 stars only because of their lack of air conditioning, especially in late July (100°). They do have some a/c but not enough to make it cool enough to eat hot food in there. If they can crank up the a/c another 10°. That could work. Otherwise, I love their food. I've had their Singapore noodles, Kung Pao, and house Fried Rice w/ no shrimp- personal preference. No pics of my other dishes, I was so eager to eat....sorry

We only recently discovered the China One here in Temecula. I'm remiss in not finding it sooner. The food is great. Reminds me of local Chinatown restaurants I went to growing up in NY.

Decent and delicious portions here. Ordered the Mongolian beef and it was really good. The side of rice is very well made and aromatic. Will come back for sure.

They had Lunch specials going on and very well worth the price. I had the General Chicken and everything was freakin' good!! I mean some places I've been to the food all taste the same for some odd reason but not this joint! I mean the veggies were fresh and snappy if that's even a word. The chicken was nice and crunchy and full of flavor. Lunch specials come with Soup and half rice and half noodles. My have had the sesame chicken and she loved it all as well. Oh and the salt and pepper wings were awesome!!! I had orderd a coke for me and the wife to share and they still brought out a complimentary water and ice without me asking for it which I found to be pretty cool. Overall great place for lunch time Chinese food fix! I will definitely be back when I'm in this area. Great food Even better price.

Alright folks, I have mood changes faster than a Snowman on the East Coast being Melted and then frozen into a solid rock on a cold winter’s day when I decide on dinner. I have never eaten, let alone heard of this place known as “China One” which sort of reminds me of Star Trek. I can’t explain so don’t ask me…NCC-Kung Pao Me…I don’t know. On to the point of things… This was most excellent and trust me, I have my allegiances around town as I’m picky about my cuts of Chicken and this restaurant met my expectations. I ordered Chicken in Hot Garlic Sauce (I requested Medium Heat to see where it would be as it was my first order), Vegetable Egg Rolls, and Pot Stickers. I will move into the review as I don’t want to read a million words either… As always, the first photos are “As Delivered” with one being completely as delivered and the other showing the food pleasure that is about to be wonderful. Trust me, when I opened it the smell of the heat from the peppers and the food was amazing. If you appreciate a good Salsa that is made right, you’’ without a doubt appreciate this perfect balance of heat and pleasure with each bite. But first, we must proceed to the “appetizer round” of this mystery! I got all excited about the appetizer portion of this meal. The Dog was groaning at me by this point as he smelled it so that means it was great! Holy smokes, while I plated this myself, the quality was excellent. Arrived in perfect condition and flavor was excellent. I do wish there was just a bit more sauce to dip in. I don’t get greedy, but I can see that if you had someone other than one person, that could get complicated. I included a few photos of the Pot Stickers and the Egg Rolls so you could see what they look like. Both were simply just divine to my taste buds. Neither one arrived saturated with cooking oil. I can write a million fancy words about both, but photos say much more in this case. If I were to add a line of context to the photo of the Egg Roll (Shown with Entrée), one could easily say this was perfectly cooked and honestly the Pot Sticker came to the party too. *Rice was perfect. Some folks ask about that* Now, onto the entrée of which I posted multiple photos, which include on the last few a rare sighting of the Egg Roll partly devoured for scientific purposes. Seriously though, the texture in the Egg Roll was excellent and you should try it dipped in the sauce. Back to the point… Not only was the main course all white meat Chicken, but I had specifically requested “Medium” heat as most times it isn’t hot enough for me. They did an excellent job, and you’ll see in the photos that such was the case. They even had a little trick, but I’m not going to disclose that. Respect for the Chef. Genius move as I would have never thought of that. Y’all will just have to order to put the pieces of that puzzle together. Everything about this “Chicken in Hot Garlic Sauce” was just plain awesome. Final Thoughts: I’ve never tried this place, but I WILL be ordering from them again! The quality was excellent! Hands down they nailed everything on the flavors. I cannot quite give enough praises for this place. As it is local, and I’m all about supporting local restaurants, please take the time to give them a try. I don’t think that you’ll be disappointed!

Food is good, restaurant is clean and modern. They have nice ambiance. The only problem I had is they only have plastic utensils and no large ramen soup spoons so I had to use the laddle to eat. They also don’t have small porcelain soup cups so I had to eat out the large bowl and it was messy. I don’t like to use styrofoam and that is all they had for small bowls. If they upgraded the utensils and dishes would be better eating experience. That is why I took away 1 star for atmosphere. I don’t like to transport my food in step foam either cuz it leeches into the food :( such a cute restaurant they loose high quality restaurant status with plastic and styrofoam only.

I love this food so much, the taste is so freaking good and it's hard to not stick to the same thing but when you try other items on the menu it's hard to not make that your only choice again!

First time trying the food. The sea food soup and walnut shrimp were my favorite. House noodles were a little bland.

This restaurant is not big, but very nice, especially the service and the food, I felt like I went back to China, I really recommend their spicy beef noodle, so so so yummy! Actually It’s not spicy, so don’t worry if you can’t eat spicy food.

I think the food is excellent, at least the lunch shrimp special till 4pm. I’m kinda busy right now but I did want to leave a good report. Somewhat confusing due to unclear language, but hey ! They are doing great !!

The broccoli beef had an interesting texture that my kids describe as "chewing on fat" although it wasn't... But the flavor was good. The pork fried rice and orange chicken was quite tasty. The corn soup stuff is interesting...

It's a tiny little place with a nice clean kitchen. You can see all the cooks doing their things. Bring a stomach for two if you go there and not a big eater. I have tried many times to finish my plates there, but have fail. These are a whole bunch of young mostly guys and they are not afraid to fill you up.

Their food is spectacular! Twitter customer service is caca. Numerous customers canceling orders, told weight would be 10 minutes ended up being 35 45 minutes.

Not the best I've had but a good feed. The crab Rangoon were hardly cooked and full of oil- not crispy at all. Won't order those again. Honey walnut shrimp had more of a fish batter on them than the usual light crispy of other honey walnut shrimp and there were only a few walnuts on the dish. They can skip the cabbage on the plate. Sautéed mixed veggies were good and the seafood combo was fairly tasty. House fried rice had a lot of goodies in it. Enough food for another meal, that's for sure. Their service was fast and efficient.

Very tasty food. Just wish they would stop messing up my orders. I ordered a meal for 6 on 3/27/2022 (Order #87) and when I arrived was handed a box with my food. I requested extra mustard for the appetizers. Got home and they did not include the $15 in appetizers with my order and no extra mustard. I was charged. Pretty disappointing. That was a big miss and not the first when I have ordered from this place.

First time here. Everything good. No complaints. Quantity = good Quality = good Price = good Cleanliness = good Friendliness = good I had the kung pao chicken. Just enough spice and plenty of flavor is why this is the goto dish. Second time here. I walked out. I ordered the lunch special. Don't remember a drink coming with that but the girl kept asking me what I wanted to drink. I asked her several times if a drink comes with the meal but she kept giving me a dirty look like she didn't understand what I was asking. She pointed towards the soda cans. I asked if there were any other options since all I saw was a can of coke and a can of sprite. I didn't want soda. But after seeing the Mexican cook behind her listening and smirking, I decided not to trust the food he was most likely about to make. Usually this is a great place but looks like they need new helpers here. Walked out.

Food was pretty ok. Small town style food with hometown style recipes. The service doesn't exist so don't expect any.

Great food if you have plenty of time to wait. I called at 11am, by 11.25 they haven't put the order in. 45 min wait for fast Chinese food not worth it.

I have always loved this place but the quality of cooking has gone down you can tell chefs are not consistent by the quality of the food, a few weeks ago I ordered ribs and shrimp in black bean sauce, the ribs were over cooked to the point the meat at the end old bone was hard as a rock, the shrimp and bean sauce the beans looked like little pellets from what you could see and there was no sauce so I thought maybe just a bad day . today I ordered spicy chicken wings and the chicken was over fried you could say burnt and so was the cabbage onion, the cook takes no pride in his cooking. Very disappointed. Don't think I'll be going back until some changes are made like a chef who takes pride in his cooking.

I usually love this place, but am so disappointed. They messed up my order so I drove back to get it re-made. They were nice enough about it, but when I got home, it was the same! They did include my rice this time (the first order came without any rice). I couldn't eat it, so had to toss it. Also the phone was not working, so I couldn't contact them.

For the cost, I expected much better. Broccoli and Mongolian beef, chow mein, pot stickers. For $32 my order showed up on time and was enough for 2 people. Entrees and noodles were soggy and bland and I bit down on several prices of bone.. It wouldn't surprise me if they just sent me food that had sat on the buffet since lunch. It was late when I ordered,, but if you can't serve it hot and fresh, take it off your menu or close earlier. $10 for soggy leftovers is way too much Only 3 packets of soy sauce came with it, not enouh to fix the taste. The pot stickers were good and I got more than I expected, but didn't make up for the rest.

Delivery: fourth time sweet & sour pork sauce forgotten. Pork was fatty and grisly. Hot and sour soup was sent in a small container not as usual. Overall this is the last time we’ll use this restaurant

Incredibly rude woman at the cash register. Not worth the wait! Mediocre food quality in styrofoam packages for dine in. Great place if you want to smell like burnt garlic the rest of the day.

First, my food tasted good. It was hot. I liked it. That wasn't the problem. When I walked in I was seated by a young Asian man who looked like he had lighted his hair. (it was somewhat orange in color). He was very polite. He took my order. As I sat at my table I noticed that he was cleaning a table near me. While cleaning the table he was wiping his nose with a tissue. Immediately after he was sweeping around the table. Then (the gross part) the manager dumps out a box of peas on one of the tables, and he and the nose wiping, table bussing, floor sweeping orange haired guy sit and start preping the peas for cooking. There was absolutely no hand washing going on here. So if you like getting sick, and perhaps getting hepatitis or other food poisonings, be sure to eat here.

Terrible service. Ordered 2 items and waited over 40 minutes. When I asked the guy at the register was my order being made and that multiple customers was ordering after me and leaving he got an attitude. When my food was ready after 45 minutes he handes me my food and walked away. No apology or nothing and I tipped them when I paid. I really wanted to take my tip back out the tip jar.

Will never order delivery from this place again. The teriyaki chicken taste old and bad. Ordered fried wontons and gave me crab rangoon. My kids does not want to eat it. A waste of time and money.

The way they make food is Mickey mouse job. Food is not tasty, too much sauce that kills taste of other ingredients, corn and broccoli in my soup was spoiled.. Do not recommend.

Picked up my order and drove home, only to find 1 of the 2 entrees missing. After calling to get my order corrected, I was told it was in the bag and can I count how many items are in the bag. It's my wife and I eating, and only 1 entree is here. It doesn't matter how many boxes I have, you guys forgot to include half my order. Won't be back ✌️

Decent food but if you are ordering delivery make sure to give yourself about a three hour lead time. Not a one time issue. Last two times we ordered delivery it went about an hour beyond the quoted time when ordered. We won't ever do delivery with China One again.

Disgusting horrible food with even worse service. The people that work there are dirty, disgusting dirty finger nails and the place smells horrible. Don’t waste your money there. The beef and broccoli was the worst I ever had. I threw it away, and I really hate wasting food.

Cashier not helpful even told her it was my first time there. I ordered the house chow mein without beef. The chicken and shrimp in it was gooey, noodles were sticky. The dish was flavorless. Worst I've ever had. Never going back

25 min wait for orange chicken and only 2 persons already waiting inside for their food. Kinda want my money back. There was 5 cooks and slow plus one cook was mixing the noodles with his hands then putting into our plates. Who ever got a bowl today at 11:35 am hope you don't get sick. He was mixing the noodles in your bowl for a bit.

Poor service. Unable to take orders correctly. Make sure you make them repeat the order at least 3-4 times. I made her repeat it twice and she still got it wrong. Spent over 70 dollars and even tipped them on take out too. Double check your food, no matter how tedious it is. Also when I called the owner, he made me drive back to the restaurant, just to have me speak with the same girl. She told me she didn't make a mistake and if I wanted the missing food, I will have to pay.

Terrible. This place was recommended and I also went by the reviews. Ordered Chicken Teriyaki, garlic shrimp and Chow mein. Chicken was old and hard as a rock. Chow mein was made with thick spaghetti noodles!! No flavor. Won't go back, so unsatisfactory.

I know this is a small business, so I truly feel bad writing this. However, my experience ordering from this restaurant was quite poor. I wanted to give them a shot for the first time after seeing some positive reviews online, so I ordered the salt and pepper pork chops, fried wontons, and house fried rice. While the prices weren’t cheap, I decided to splurge a bit on dinner. Since everything I ordered was a staple for a Chinese restaurant, I assumed it would be tasty. Unfortunately, I was left disappointed. The small portion sizes were very shocking. When I opened the pork chops, I couldn't believe the quantity. I am only one person, and I expected to have leftovers for days; instead, the order consisted of about one good-sized pork chop cut into five small pieces. Beyond the portion size, the taste was very off. The pork chops tasted as if they had been deep-fried in cleaning supplies. I have no reason to lie—something was seriously wrong, and the meat tasted foreign. Or maybe it was an expired pork chop? The fried wontons were decent, but they were flavorless without sauce. I specifically asked for extra sweet and sour sauce, yet they only provided one small container for 12 wontons. As for the house fried rice, it was loaded with different meats and shrimp. You would think it would be packed with flavor, but it was incredibly bland. I actually had to use some of my limited sweet and sour sauce just to give it some taste. It is now the next morning and I’m feeling pretty awful. My goal isn’t to trash a small business, but I’d suggest staying away from the salt and pepper pork chops and knowing that the rice is mediocre at best. Food is expensive these days, so I thought I’d share my experience.
