I like Del Taco so of course I think 5 stars is appropriate. They have a few things on the menu I can eat😁 Thanks for keeping the steak tacos simple (the name changes) and your French fries. The employee at the window was great! Best one I have had at a drive thru in a long time!!!!!!

Super friendly drive thru for your morning commute. Food is always hot and fresh. My only complaint is the bacon is not spread out evenly. Always at the bottom of my burrito.

I was here on Wednesday and it was the first time the drive through had it together. They where fast they told me what bag had what in it they where polite food was hot finally not cold . I thought I was at chick fila for a second. It used to take 30 mn with just 5 cars . I hope they keep it up . Whoever was working the drive through thank you for the 5 star service on wed 27of jan .if you guys keep it up during lunch rush people will come to Del Taco instead of in and out and popeye's

This has gotta be the best after midnight affordable place around. Tacos were perfect, the night person has no problem getting all 3 sauces on each one, plus they were actually not only polite but truly kind and patient when I had a problem with my card. Will definitely come back. Yummy.

Supposedly you can't throw away trash at the drive thru window so I pulled in front of the store. I didn't see a trash can so I took it (a cup) inside the store. Also got hot sauce packets. We ate in the car but now we have even more trash to take home.

I have been dining at this location at least once a week for the past 9 months. In general, I am a big fan of Del Taco, and have been since the 70's. If you want fast food, go to Taco Bell. Unlike their competitor, Del Taco is real food that is prepared quick. Due the quality and freshness of the ingredients, expect to wait a little longer than you would at a "fast food" establishment. This location is always consistent in their product and service. I never witnessed some of the negative staff behavior listed in previous ratings, which makes me question the ratings validity. I am always greeted by friendly staff and the restaurant is always clean. No, I am not an employee of Del Taco, however, I have been in the restraunt business (pizza) for almost 30 years. Thanks Del Taco! You guys are awesome!

Del Taco when you're hungry you can get a meal for $5 one of their boxes and it tastes good and it's pretty affordable and it doesn't taste too bad

Del taco is bomb it's been good since the 70s it's way better than Taco Bell I don't care what you say. And they serve burgers and they're pretty good they don't give you the squirts like Taco Bell cuz all the ingredients are fresh hands down my favorite Southern California fast food

We pass buy all the time after Pachenga. Food is always great but the customer service is something like we never expected. Issac is a true asset to the Franchise. If I ever open up my own restaurant he will be the first one I will be going after.

relatively fast and decent service. Food was hot and stayed hot for about 15 min after. Drive thru person asked if I wanted sauce and didn't rush me through the transaction. A lot of fast food places dont ask if you want sauce. They just shove the back in your face and if you tell them you'd like sauce, sometimes they act inconvenienced. Not Del Taco though! They always ask if you want sauce. The food is ok and doesn't usually fall apart. Nicely packed

Prices are the same as all other del tacos in the area. The food was good none of it was bad. I would recommend this del taco for a late night meal in drive thru. Overall good the speed of service was slow but it was close to midnight when I ate here, so it’s to be expected. They did have a now hiring sign on the door so I understand.

I used to really like this location but unfortunately the portions have gotten very skimpy. The burritos feel like the size of a taquito. And we always get asked to pull around front and wait. We had 3 burritos and fries and had to wait out front. I do like Del Taco, just don't know what's going on with this location now.

I don't know how anyone can be reading any fast food place because it's not like the staff is consistent from year to year and they all serve the same products so unless you're in the bathroom monitoring hand washing they're all the same. It's Del Taco what can I say I think they have better food than Taco Bell but it's mystery meat on a taco pretty much the same as every other fast food Mexican place. it's my mystery meat of preference but I only go if I can't treat myself to better more healthy food.

I have only purchased food through the drive thru and have no complaints about the service or food. They are pretty quick with having your order in your car. They also have gotten my order correct each time.

Food was very good, prices have gone up. Service was friendly yet a little slow as it seemed like there was only one person working and doing everything.

One of the items I ordered was a custom order, a beef burrito with no guac, no cheese, no sour cream. I was asked to repeat again, which I did, since I may have been a bit fast over the drive thru. But after receiving my order, there was.. nothing removed. The order was for my mom who is VERY picky... It sucked. But the service lady was really nice so I didn't feel the need to return and have it changed since we lived far from that restaurant.

I ordered my dell tacos without lettuce. The person working drive through verbally confirmed no lettuce. Tacos still had lettuce. No receipt given or offered, but good customer service. Will try again.

The staff seemed to be bothered by our presence. When our food was ready a customer let us know it was on the counter, not a staff member. There were homeless people in the restaurant that appeared to hangout for long periods of time. Not my type of "ambiance".

Ordered a bunch of chicken soft tacos. They didn't cook the tortillas and you definitely could tell. It was either that or they were old tortillas.

Sometimes I eat tacos for breakfast. I'm a Del kinda guy. Won't eat Taco bell cause I use to work at one and I love seen the horror. Plus Taco Bells commercials suck! This Del has friendly staff so I'll be going back when I need a crapy taco fix.

The last few visits have been in the late evening to which may attribute to the 3 stars. Wait times for only 1 or 2 people have been longer then they should be. The old fries just keep getting cooked till they are sold. My tacos have been stale and barely filled. I gave 3 stars due to the friendliness of the employees and the cleanliness of the location, oh and the poppers were good.

Usually a great piece for super fast service.. in an out.! To Go over Drive Through anytime... Drive Through is the worst.... worse than Starbucks..lol However, this time my food was seriously cold. 4 items, i threw 3 of them away and just went home. :(

Waited 10 min in the drive through in the morning 8:20. Saw 1 person doing drive thru and taking orders and moving back & forth packing food. Ordered 2 breakfast burritos with the hasbrown sticks. Didnt taste great but wasnt horrible.

They were having some issues with their terminals so the line got crazy long here. They did the best they could but it took a long time to get our order and instead of giving us our fries we got our money back... kind of annoying to wait that long just to find out the majority of one of our orders wasnt even made. We were also told the beyond avocado taco meal that was advertised wasn't available to order in their system... why is it on the menu then?? Food was good once we got it though. The manager should have gotten more staff if they knew the terminals were not working.

I eat at a lot of Del Taco locations during work since it's less time consuming than a sit down restaurant. This location is lighting fast. Your order(inside) is practically done by the time you finish paying but the Del Tacos that I got here didn't fill the shell as they typically do with other locations and the fries were a little under done.

Still one amazing cheeseburger for a taco place. Avoid the 1-3 am run because they tend to reserve the menu items that have been messed up or refused throughout the day. I have 3 times ordered a bean and cheese burrito and been given something that has clearly had ingredients removed and beans all over the outside of the tortilla.

Was actually disappointed in rheir normal tasty tacos. The shells were overly brittle and broke into pieces on the first bit. The meat was extremely oily. This has boy been my experience in the past at this location. The place was very clean and staff was nice. Hope they figure out how to get back to their normal quality.

Let's start with the positive thing that all del tacos restaurants have the amazing flavours. Their tacos are so great without a doubt. But this specific restaurant was a caos. So my boyfriend and I went trough the drive thru and I saw the sign that said download the app and get 2 free tacos I did so but when I gave my phone to the cashier he said the code didn't work. Then we ordered regular coke but he gave us like a light old coke that taste so disgusting and it tastes like anything except from a coke. And he didn't want to gave us much napkins.

Drive thru rediculous.sat in hot car 21 minutes waiting for order and they announced they were out of fries???? How can a fast food place be out of fries? Drive through too slow, hardly any meat in tacos after all of that ! Not happy!

Tasted horrible and was making me cough after eating like there was some kind of foreign substance in the food. This was after I asked them to remake it because my fries were stone cold, my drink was flat, and the combo burrito was pathetic. It was like a spoonful of ingredients. He did remake it though which is the only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of one although the remake was not much better. My drink was still flat, the fries were just nasty, and the burrito (pictured) was slop. Really disappointed and I actually deleted my app because of this visit. Which, by the way, I didn't even get my free churro that I asked for both times going through the drive thru.

Del Taco was always one of my favorites growing up in SoCal, and I have always stopped in at least 2 or 3 times whenever I come back to visit California. I stopped in this past Friday in Temecula and all the stuff on the menu that I loved was either gone or out of stock. They were out of queso sauce, so any item that included that ingredient was queso-less. No fresh avocado (they did have guac), no fish tacos, no meatless options, and what was available made ordering tough because I was left with several choices on their menu that didn't interest me, and this was at 1:30 PM on a Friday. It looks like Jack in the Box's leadership is looking to run Del Taco into the ground after their purchase of what was once my favorite SoCal fast food chain. I want to give Del Taco a second chance, but unfortunately for both Del Taco and myself, I won't. There are too many good alternatives out there for me to waste money on food that doesn't include all the ingredients Del Taco is advertising to sell me.

Food is good when they get it right. Drive thru takes too long to order and to get your food. Not a big deal once in awhile, but this is every time we go here.

Stopped there after getting my sister-in-law out of Temecula Valley Hospital. Before eating we had to clean our inside table off as it was dirty. My wife and I had to use the restrooms. They were very dirty. We told employees about it. We were the only inside customers. We did not see any of the employees clean the bathrooms. Also when leaving we noticed the outside tables looked like they had not been cleaned in a long time. The food was okay.

Its fast food so not expecting much but we got stale hard taco shells, no lettuce on any taco and old fries. We had to wait 10 minutes for food when she said it would be 3 minutes. I did like how hot the chicken was and their burritos were apperently good

Took 30 min in the drive thru.... there were three employees just standing there talking to each other. Should not of taken so long. The cashier was handling the food without gloves or washing his hands first..... not cool.

First off the two employees that are working are dping a great job. Having said that, this location is perpetually underhanded with only two employees even during lunch & dinner rush times resulting in long wait times and a dirty lobby. As I sit here in the lobby writing this at 2:30pm on a Monday, there are currently 9 cars in the drive thru and 3 parties inside waiting to order. There are 6 tables occupied and zero clean tables. I observed the last two people clean their tables themselves before sitting down...

Big fan of the restaurant, its my go to except for this location. The only one who just can't seem to get the fish tacos right, either cold tortillas, too much sour cream or no toppings.

I ordered 4 burritos that they claim on the app are over a half pound each. They seemed small to me, so I weighed them. Turns out all 4 were under 7 ounces. You should not lie to your customers. I have enjoyed this Del Taco location for awhile, but this is not the first time experiencing this issue lately.

The guy I talked to on the phone was very kind and understanding. But I am overall disappointed with the service of this Del taco. Maybe all Del tacos do it, I don’t know, but I ordered a plane regular iced coffee. I go about my day and take a sip only to taste a cinnamon flavor. I call and ask, and they said they put cinnamon in their regular iced coffee. I’m allergic. So I’m very disappointed this factor was not listed on the menu. I’ve gotten their iced coffees before and it wouldn’t have this. And now they charge it and don’t state it. I have work today and I just hope I’ll be okay… not happy with this surprise. The guy on the phone said it’s usually listed but I let him know it’s definitely not when you go through drive thru. He was very kind to let me know how their coffee is now but this is not a surprise I needed.

We waited for 15 mins in the drive through before we backed out and went in ..where we waited another 15 mins for them to take our order...then they told us they were out of the donuts..and it took an additional 20 minutes before we got our food....they tried to make up by giving an extra taco. All in all God was good ..service sucked! They couldn't fill orders for the life of them. They kept giving out the wrong ones and or forgetting items. ....Hope things got better for them!

The manager is a failure .. Refused to get change for 100 and i was 1$ short of having exact change in small bills .. So my family and I had to go somewhere else .. How the hell do you refuse a customer who can afford their food especially as a manager ? Cassandra is great maybe she ahould become manager .. This del taco is ridiculous. I ordered the shrimp tacos & was told there would be a wait with was fine. I sat there for almost 45 minutes while a young lady with street clothes & a drive thru head set got in her car & made a million trips through the drive thru dancing & blasting her music she would go back into the store & go in the back where employees were sitting on the floor in street clothes while they should have been working. I was so frustrated. I even recorded a short video before calling customer service & them my phone died. Terrible service.

The worst del taco I've ever been to. They are SO SLOW and mess up the order almost everytime. Today they forgot to put my chips and salsa in the bag. So frustrating. How can a del taco be so inefficient? Manager if you're reading this- get your stuff together!!!

Service horrible. Girl working drive thru at 12:40 on Monday on July 29th is rude. Just takes my order and when I am done she says nothing. I pull forward to get my food she takes my money and hands me my food and says nothing. I asked for extra ice and she seems really irritated and hands me my ice and again says nothing. Zero customer service!!!!!! Somebody needs to go back to the basics with please and thank you and hello!! Wow!

Unfortunately this place gets worse every time we eat here. The taco shells are stale. We also tried a burrito with rice inside. The rice was undercooked and crunchy... horrible. We keep trying the food because of its convenience. But enough is enough. Nobody has the time or money (no matter how inexpensive) for bad food and tummy aches.

The owner should know what they are doing at graveyard shift. The guy dont give reciept after i paid cash he said he already punch it in and cant print reciept for me. I have store before so you cant pull me this BS. If no reciept printed they can cancel the sale and whatever difference after end of shift they put it on there pocket. I was wondering how did my bill went alnost $20 for 2 order they try to be sneaky manager and employee should be fired for stealing on the owner. For the owner review how many drive through transaction they do every night and compare how many transaction on did on copy reciept you easily see how much they steal every night.

Came thru the drive thru at 3:00 am thinking they offer 24 hour service. I see two cars in front with obviously is the employees with head sets on telling us the are close from 3:00 am to 3:15. Why even answer if you are supposedly closed.

Not 24hours I tried to come here at 4 a.m. The location states that it's 24 hours When I arrived on the 10th, the employees were sitting outside eating and talking and told me that they were closed. When I visited the website, it stated that they were open 24 hours so it's my assumption that the employees were goofing off and not wanting to do their job.

Always takes at least 15 minutes at drive threw no matter how many cars already in line. They move ridiculously slow with no reason addressed. Makes me wonder what the heck they could possibly be doing to take so long. I would understand if the inside of the store was busy but that’s definitely not the case in the instance either. Who knows?! Well.. the customers don't that's for sure.

The oil tasted like it hasn't been changed in weeks and we got there around 4pm. It was worse than my experience with McDonald's. McDonald's caused me to pump my stomach because of how God awful it was. The food I had gotten from Del Taco was worse than that. It was like a Walmart and a waffle house (just the people and not the food) was fighting in my stomach with Arby's being the referee.

Ordered Polo Asada Bowl and it came about 3/4 full, the Del Taco on Ynez Rd. in the same city packs the thing full to the top. For a bowl of rice, black beans and a bit of chicken (and no avocado, cant stand the stuff) you would figure for 5 bucks you would get your moneys worth. The only plus for this place is that it's open when I leave for work where the better shop isn't. I think I will start going the night before to get my food at the other place. Part 2, After contacting the main office of Del Taco via email review line, I received a call from this Del Taco, the manager was very polite and she apologized for my bad experience, she got all the information as to the shift I experienced this with and asked me to come by and they would fill my order again free of charge. I talked to the shift supervisor and he was friendly and very helpful, I was given my food and they said they would address the issue. I am grateful for the quick response to this issue and will try this Del Taco again in the future. I can't change the star rating but from this corrective experience I would bump it up to 3 stars. This will probably change if my experience with this restaurant continues to improve. Thanks for the help in bringing this to a quick solution. I can't fault the whole place just because of one employee so I will see how it goes.

Absolutely terrible service. My wife and I went to the drive through and were stuck in line for over 30 minutes before we could get the chance to order (DISCLAIMER: there were 4 people in line ahead of us, nobody was inside the store ordering food). I asked the cars behind me if they could kindly reverse backwards, which they agreed to because of how long it took.

I was looking for a nice place to get my coke NO ICE after my long workout when I decided on dell taco little did I know I would fall victim to the ice lovers. Not only did the guy give me ice he gave EXTRA ICE. It was honestly jaw dropping tears worthy experience. This place is not no ice freindly👎

I was doing a delivery at 4:55 am on Monday July 15. One of the employee told me they were closed. And I looked on the app and says they open at 4am and didn't want to take my customer door dash order. Also was rude to me

This might be the worst interaction I’ve had at a restaurant before. I place a pick up order on door dash, I go through the drive through, cause if I wanted to park, I’d just go inside, but I’m asked to park anyway. I was left waiting for almost an hour, with my food getting cold. After calling the store, the manager allowed my hour old soggy tacos to leave his store, and be run out to my car. The blonde girl who ran my food out did a great job, assuming she wasn’t the Manager, if she was the manager, she needs to be replaced immediately. The restaurant wasn’t busy, I know cause I sat in front of the store for almost an hour. The remake food took less than 4 minutes to get out to me, which makes me question the need to park in the first place. I was offered a beverage for my time, I took an ice water. Is a beverage worth an hour of my time? Why was there not a manager apologizing to me? This is how you guys treat your customers? When I’m able to treat myself, I do so at your store, if a cup of soda is worth an hour of your customers time, then I’m going to have to treat myself at other restaurants.

I ordered a TOSTADA... THIS IS WHAT I GOT!!! This is so very sad! I didn't even know what to make of it. Looked odd n beans tasted nasty like fish. So! I threw it away It's the principal idea that I should get what I ordered n you take my money... And my money was earned n not to just be given away. SMH

It took FOREVER in the drive-through line. Don't go here if you think you can stop for a quick bite to eat. It's not going to happen. Burrito was good but zero salt on the fries so ask for salt if you want some flavor.

Order via kiosk only inside, but the touchscreen doesn't work well. Had to wait for an employee to finally get my drink (unsweet Ice tea) it's only available behind counter now--sad. Hot sauce only available behind counter. The few employees here look stressed out. I guess gone are the days of warm friendly service. I will not be eating here again.

I didnt get half my order which is bad enough, but when i checked my reciept to see if i was charged for the items i didnt recieve I saw i was also charged for the sauces. that wouldnt be a problem if they had told me before hand. not ask if I want sauces on the side at the window and then charge me without telling me. pretty bad I ordered 5 items and didnt get 2 of them, then 2 of the items I did get werent what I ordered lol I can see why most reviews say they will never come back. plenty of better fast food options in town then here.

Avoid this place unless you like to get the wrong order or shorted on your fries or drink. Ever since the new manager took over, I have consistently received wrong items and more specifically the wrong size. I'm guessing the manager doesn't know the difference between a large and a regular because this doesn't happen when she's not there. I don't understand how she doesn't know, it's not like it's busy, either I'm the only one standing in line or one of two cars in the drive through. The manager has to be doing this willingly, there's no other way to explain it. If I order a large, and pay for a large, I expect a large drink AND large fries. I would expect one of the part timers to pull this but when the store manager consistently pulls this? She should be pulled out of the store and sent to a training store so she can learn the basics all over again. The drink and fry cups are color coded for God sakes.

This total "CLIP JOINT" just charged me 70¢ on EACH of 6 tiny, three-bite, value / snack tacos, just to add on onions! That's a total of $4.20 added to my otherwise, $8.78 meal. They listed each as a "side order of onions" on my receipt. So it was no mistake. Just to add a miniscule sprinkle of diced onions. My bill Grand Total was $12.98 or essentially $13 for a drive-thru order. NEVER, EVER, Again! I'll DEFINITELY TAKE MY BUSINESS ELSEWHERE. You should too.

Is This Del Taco going out of business??? I was all excited to get my #1 Del taco combo as I normally would. I love their tomatos and believe it or not I actually picked Del taco over Taco Bell because they usually give me more tomatoes at Del taco . But when I had ordered from the highway 79 in Temecula…. I opened up my tacos and saw 2 small diced tomatoes….. I was really disappointed but not upset. So I went back inside the store and showed them and they apologized and gave me more tomatoes, so I thought….. when I had finally got home and opened my bag … I noticed there was only 6 tomatoes in the small side can that was suppose to be the “ our apologies “ side on us . I would have gladly paid for a normal side of tomato’s if I had known it would be the exact same thing . So I went back AGAIN!!! And this time the same guy was super sweet and polite and understanding but he told me that the manager was forcing them to only serve 6 diced tomatoes or less on each taco . I was very confused and so I just had them give me a refund. I always loved Del Taco for how generous they were with their tomatoes but I guess they really are being a cheap skate now . They need to only serve so little… hardly anything?? That’s false advertising. The picture even shows way more tomatoes. I feel like the store needs to do something about this before they get more disappointed customers. I will not be coming back for this very reason. The employee I spoke with was nice . The manager obviously is not doing a good job with customer satisfaction tho .
