I wouldn’t usually review a Denny’s but this time I was impressed. The server was diligent and fast. I never had to ask for refills or extra napkins, she was on it, it’s too bad she didn’t have a name tag or else I would mention her. Overall experience excellent.

Fast service great food. One of the best Denny's I've been too my order was The Wild Alaskan salmon with buttered garlic and herbs and the waitress ordered exactly how I liked it. Shout out to the cook who prepared the fish well so much flavor and seasoned to proportion, I wish I knew their seasons they used, it given me ideas of how to cook my next salmon dish. Sofia was our waitress and she was so nice I told her please make sure she gets her tip we left her.😁😁👍👍👍

Today my family and I went to dennys and had Alejandra as our server. We had a great breakfast and of course my kids wanted a dessert so we tried their new brownie dessert. Called ahead and verified the wait time. Seated promptly and drink order taken quickly. Once the food was ordered it was prepared quickly as well. Food is what you expect from Denny's 😊. Overall good experience during Easter.

Surprisingly clean booths, seats, and tables. Outlets for work at the bartop. Music is neutral and not too loud. Service was quick, affordable, and Jimmy P was excellent in making sure I had everything I needed.

All of the staff were friendly and helpful. I did not wait long to be seated or for the food. It was a clean and pleasant environment! I did not receive the hash browns that are served with the omelette and .99 was added to my total for the fruit as you can see from the photo. There's nothing wrong here except Temecula's crazy streets. You exit 15 and you have to dipsy-doodle to get to it. It was clean, the food was hot and excellent.

I worked at this Denny’s years ago but now I go in as a customer. Lots of new faces. However I had exceptional service from Bernice. I was on my way back from taking my son to a doctors appointment. Denise the GM is so sweet snd genuinely wants everyone who comes in that door to leave full and satisfied with great food and amazing service. Bernice made sure My coffee stayed full and continually checked on us. The pancakes were on point. The service was flawless. Thank you Bernice and Denise and the amazing cooks.

The restaurant was super busy and i went in with my family (of 6) and we were immediately seated and taken care by bree she was a wonderful waitress, there was absolutely no wait for our food about 15 minutes maximum. Living in New Zealand we simply cannot get the quality of fast food that is offered in the United States of America. I had the bourbon bacon burger and it simply was divine. A huge burger with onion rings as a side was more than one person could eat packed full of juicy beautifully cooked ground beef bacon onions, peppers, lettuce, tomato cheese, mayonnaise with the most beautifully delicious bourbon sauce. The one in Temecula is the best one I have encountered in US till now, and I have eaten to Denny’s in several States by now. The wait was crazy but for a Sunday around brunch time you would expect it. But the service was great and the food was hot.

The food was great, but we kind of felt rushed by our waitress. I mean, she wasn't rude or anything. she might have just been working many tables by herself. It was a little loud when we first got there due to a large party of about 15 or more and 1 toddler running around the table, but once they left, it was ok. we will definitely return and try them again.

Growing up, I always liked to go to Dennys for breakfast or lunch. Overr the years, although I would still go once in a while, I felt like Dennys went to hell in a handbasket. Bad service, luke warm food and dirty glasses and silverware. Today however, I feel like we went through a time warp at this Dennys near our hotel in Temecula. We were surprised at how BUSY BUSY this place is. A sign of good food to come? It has a very updated appearance, and yet it has the old time vibe going on. The service was friendly, and it was easy to tell that everybody in here was enjoying themselves. My coffee never got below 3/4 full, and the staff ALL looked very happy! They didn't look like they hated working here. The food tastes delicious, although it still wasn't quite as hot as I like. I let that pass this time though because I was so taken back and pleasantly surprised by everything else. I would go back to this place anytime. Keep up the great work!

My family and I visited this location on Sat September 13th in the evening and our waiter was very kind and attentive! I was sad to see there weren't many people there but the food and service was great! Thank you for a lovely before we headed back home hours away. I would definitely recommend this location!

Everything you expect from a Dennys. Big portions, decent service, endless coffee, and good food. Nothing fancy or bold. The prices were a little higher than I expected, but not unusually. I can get the same dish at the same price while sitting next to the ocean.

We had a wonderful waitress, Linda. The restaurant was clean and our food was served quickly. Customers were really noisy though. Apparently I was the first customer to order straight chorizo and eggs as a custom order (it's on the menu but served as a skillet dish). The cook made the dish perfectly!

Food was good. But there was a wait of 15 min. Not bad on a Sunday. Waited a bit as well for food. And prices did go up as well on the whole menu. But 👌good overall.

Dennys is always consistent. I come to this location whenever I'm in this area. This particular visit had 2 mistakes with our dine-in order, but the staff quickly remedied them. Staff are polite and remembers to check-in with you, even though they stay fairly busy as they're between two (2) budget motels and a gas station right off the 15 freeway. The restaurant appears clean, including the restrooms.

Went in for a quick breakfast as a night shift worker. The only server/cashier in the restaurant was friendly and helpful, and the bathroom was clean. Not terrible, but nothing amazing; don't expect too much and you won't be disappointed.

I don't normally go out for breakfast but I do on certain times of the year. My Mom LOVED syrup with her pancakes here. So a couple of times a year go have breakfast and order a side of pancakes and drown it with syrup as a reminder of my Mom. I like their breakfast as well. I like how they are diverse I their items from catering to the simpleton person (like myself) to a decadent breakfast.

Me and the Mrs were pretty tired after a 6-hour drive. Decided to stop into Denny's before we went on to our room across the street. Knowing that with Denny's, it's hit or miss. This one was kind of both. The food and the service were actually very good. The people there couldn't have been any nicer. They lose two points on atmosphere due to the sheer stickiness of everything. We asked that the table be wiped down and dried. I showed them a very shiny sticky area right in front of my wife it was wiped down quickly, then dried quickly with another towel. The shiny part went away however, we discovered that not only was the entire table sticky but the menus as well. My nephew who was a server while he saved up to start his business, told me once, "Never forget this. Everywhere you eat, the table will get bussed, then wiped down with the same gross rag they've been using for the last several hours. Maybe their entire shift". He was certainly right tonight. We were just too tired to worry about any of that on this particular night! C'mon Denny's crew, do better!

This location is seriously outdated. The brick wall has been struck by a car and is seriously damaged and may be unsafe. Service was good,n but my bacon was like two half length strips and were cold. Update on 4/17/24: No change after another visit today. Update on 2/7/25: The brick wall has finally been repaired, but the restaurant still feels dated. Service is always good.

Promptly seated upon arrival. Ordered veggie omelette and it was quite good. Server was was fairly attentive. The location of the restaurant is just off the freeway which is convenient for travelers. The property was not as well maintained as some Denny's that I've visited recently.

As we walked in, the smell was uninviting, we almost walked out. Once we got to the front noone was aproched us. We saw 4 works walking around and they said nothing. Finally someone came and sat us. The funny thing was she had menu's but never gave them to us. Once our second part of our party came the waitress noticed we had no menus and got us some. The place it's self felt dirty and luckily the smell from the front was gone. Our table, you could tell they wiped it but it was still dirty with sticky syrup and what looked like some kind of chocolate. I am pleasantly surprised that the food was delicious. So happy to know the chefs were good cooks. Long story short when you are in a pinch by all means the food will be good but I don't recommend visiting this Denny's just because of the atmosphere.

I ordered this sizzling breakfast with potatoes , chorizos , scrambled eggs etc . But when the food was served it was less warm , not sizzling hot that I was expecting . I was really disappointed . It was not hot and no sizzle. Its was a very disappointing breakfast last Saturday 8/19/23.

Food average, the one waitress covering the entire dining room is doing the best she can. Something was off with the sourdough toast, not good.

GREAT FOOD, BUT SMELLY! Okay, so is it more or does this Denny’s smell like a toilet? I walked in with family and I immediately got a restroom smell across the restaurant. I’m not sure if they’re having plumbing issues but something was afoot. The service was okay, but could’ve been better, I never got a refill of water. I came during a very difficult time so I was already depressed. However, my food cheered me up a bit. The Ultimate Omelette was very flavorful and the portion was fantastic! This Denny’s is right off the freeway and near the entry way of Old Town Temecula. I highly recommend it if you’re looking for something economical as the restaurants nearby are very pricey! Although I didn’t appreciate the smells, I give this location another shot as the food tasted amazing!

Ordered Mozzarella sticks to start and they brought them with bbn our food so I canceled those. Then we ordered a refill and they did not bring it until we were about to leave and of course were done eating. Poor service today!

This is about the afternoon kitchen. The morning kitchen and service is always outstanding. I ordered spicy nachos 1/2 order with jalapeños and avocado. They used to put the jalapeño and Avacado in a side container because it is an extra charge. I received an incredibly small portion with a few pieces of jalapeño and Avacado mixed in. I had a few nachos while I was finishing my coffee. It was cold and I had to ask them to heat it in the microwave. They charged me $16 plus the expected $4 for the coffee. Absolutely outrageous for a poor quality appetizer. Will never go back any other time than breakfast!!

This began as an online order but ended up a phone order that I picked up. The staff was super duper nice. They were polite well mannered and they went out of their way to apply my discount. With that being said .... My biscuits and gravy were the worst. I can't even go any further.

We stopped by on a Sunday night. Plenty of tables and employees but we kept getting ignored. Once we got tired of waiting, we kindly asked a server how much longer we would have to wait. She referred us to another server who was straight up rude to us. Then to top off, they barely had anything in stock.... We would've left but the kids were hungry.

The server made sure we were informed about some deal you’ll receive by scanning some bar code displayed on the table. She explained by scanning this bar code we would accumulate points and eventually receive free items. But upon signing up, we would receive a free dessert or appetizer. Well, completed the signing up by the bar code. At the end, as we received the bill. . .we asked about the free dessert or appetizer. Our server acted as if he didn’t know what we were talking about..smh. Every place nowadays wants you to “Download” and register. What’s the Reason?

Nov 17, 2025: Food & Service are on par with other locations. However, the exterior is unkempt and feels ghetto. High grass/weeds everywhere. Trash all over the parking lot & around building, even near entrance. Cracks in pavement & faded parking spot lines. Several maintenance issues with building such as holes & water damage in covered soffit areas; open to public electrical & plumbing boxes; bathroom hardware not up to standards. They dont have a QR scanner for their App. Can only imagine things I cannot see in the back...

Service was very friendly and an order in our party was not good so the manager took it off our bill but I still think if I'm paying for an order that includes pancakes, they should look better than this...at least be equal in size for the most part. Restaurant was busy for the time of morning and wait on the food took about 30 mins, which is pretty normal I guess.

I enjoyed the burger I got but was really upset that the price was 10 bucks more expensive than the $14 that was listed on the menu.

Located right off the 15 Freeway at the Rancho California exit, next to the 76 Gas station. We've stopped here plenty of times after events at Pechanga with no issues, but our visit last night was very disappointing. The overall service and food quality really let us down. We ordered the 'Sirloin Steak' and 'Chicken Fried Chicken' dinners. The sides were poor: the broccoli was salty and soggy. The chicken entree was extremely salty and overcooked, hard to chew, almost as if it had been cooked from frozen. The steak, unfortunately, was entirely tasteless. Our plan was to order dessert and coffee, but our server handed us the bill without asking if we wanted anything else. We tried to flag her down, but she was not paying attention. Tired of waiting, we paid and left. I was surprised by the sudden drop in quality, as I’ve always had great service and meals here in the past. Next time, I will likely just keep driving to another diner. 8/15/2022: This Denny's is conveniently located off the 15 fwy right off the Rancho California exit next to the 76 gas station. We stopped here on a busy Saturday night and the 3 ladies working the front impressed me with such great service. Restaurant was clean and organized. I tried their Country Fried Steak with Broccoli and Mashed Potatoes, tasted delicious with that authentic Denny's taste. Shout out to our server Halie who was very attentive and simply awesome making our experience a great one. I will definitely stop here again.

Worse experience they usually are knowing by Not care on the Customer experience but, this San Clemente location is one of the worse.

Came in at 7 PM. The place was dead and there was nobody to seat me so I left and went to the Murrieta denny’s. It’s almost like this place is trying to go out of business.

Walked in had us seat ourselves Waited for 20 minutes no menu, tables were sticky, staff was neglectful and busy having personal conversations. Had no choice but to leave.

now i remember why i stop going, the hashbrowns were over burnt and under cooked, Bacon was ordered extra crispy and came under cooked,,, the over easy eggs were good,, ham was good,, my pan cakes were burnt and still served,,,, Get it together guys, i guess it back to murrieta

As soon as we walked in we were not greeted. It seemed like she was annoyed with our presence. We were there 11/18 at 730pm. We were trying to figure out if it was because we were a party of 8 or because we were latinas speaking Spanish. We are all bilingual women. She seemed extremely annoyed with our presence once again. The cook was sitting in a booth on a video called seemed like he was annoyed as well. The food was cold and the server never asked if I wanted a refill on my drink $5.00 for coke. The probability of going back not liking. Beyond disappointed with Denny’s.

08/08/2025 I’ve been to this Denny’s location multiple times, and each time they’ve deliberately not provided the value menu unless I specifically asked for it. Most customers don’t even know it exists—and that’s exactly what they’re counting on. It’s a shady tactic to get people to order off the regular menu, which has drastically higher prices. I even spoke with another customer who told me he had no idea there was a value menu until after he had already paid. He wasn’t happy, and I don’t blame him. Denny’s has always been known as a value-friendly diner, but this location seems to have forgotten that. It feels like they’re taking advantage of customers, and that’s just bad business. If you eat here, make sure you ask for the value menu—because they sure won’t offer it on their own. ***UPDATE 08/28/2025*** I came back recently hoping things would be better, but unfortunately the same thing happened again. I sat down, got the regular menu only, and when I ordered the Value Slam, the waitress gave me a strange look like, how did you even know about that? It just reinforces that they’re deliberately hiding the value menu from customers. To make matters worse, I ordered a water when she first came by, and it never showed up. Halfway through my meal, I had to ask again, and it still took a few minutes. The food itself was fine, but the service was not. Honestly, it felt like she was irritated I ordered from the value menu, which makes no sense—it’s literally part of their job to serve what’s on the menu. At this point, I don’t think I’ll be coming back. This feels like a consistent bait-and-switch tactic paired with poor service, and it’s really disappointing. Customers deserve honesty and decent treatment, not games over which menu they get to see. ****UPDATE 09/28/2025**** After my last update, the owner actually responded here on Google and apologized, saying my feedback was important. But strangely, that response was deleted soon after. It really feels like they’re trying to manage appearances by hiding or removing negative feedback instead of addressing the actual issues. At this point, between the shady menu practices, poor service, and now what looks like damage control on reviews, I just don’t feel like this location is trustworthy. I’ve given them multiple chances, and nothing has changed.

Our late nights on travels often lead us to hunting for something to eat. The other options were closing soon and we do not like to go to restaurants that are closing w/in an hour as we feel that is just rude. Well, thus Dennys was within 15mins of our hotel. Now we have ate at other Danny's in the past and this is the 1st one I have given less than 4 or 5 stars for. The pros 1st. Location shortly outside of the Old Temecula village with a gas station literally next door. Standard 24 hour & usual menu. At the time, 23:52 there was no real wait as there were only about 2 or 3 groups in the entire establishment. The 1st lady who went to take our order, we unfortunately was not quite ready. After 1 more pass, Kristin popped up to assist us when we were fi ally ready. To shorten this story, we placed our order, received our order, thought everything was good. Got back to the hotel to find out they did not include my youngest daughter's fruit bowl and they did not get my own ultimate omelet order correct. I heard my wife say no pork, it had pork, we asked for jalapeños, no jalapeños, with a pinch of cheese. Did not eat even a bite, return to get a refund for my individual order and get our daughter her fruit bowl. Upon returning was told only a manager can refund anything and yes, no manager on duty. I was then told that the manager will give me a call the next day to do the refund. No such call. So I called. 4 times, no answer. Called again today...no call. The question some may ask, did they offer to remake? Yes, Kristin did, however, once you mess up my food, why would I trust you to remake? I've had a lot of friends in the food service industry and all have said the same thing, never have them remake. I do not yell, ever, I do not curse or am rude toward anyone, just not my nature. Simply wanted a refund of the specific order, not the entire near $100 order. No call, no answer. This is my experience at this location, so be mindful. Every place can/could have issues. It's how you resolve those issues that makes the true difference.
