Dave & Buster's - Tempe

We had our Territory Kickoff Meeting here, and they did not disappoint. The service the staff gave was great. We had a small issue with the air-conditioning, but they worked diligently to fix it and did. The food that was served was amazing. Morning time was fruit, danishes, muffins, breads, coffee, tea. Lunch was carne and chicken tacos with pablano rice and beans. It had all the fixins with it. Then, later, it was veggies, dips, chicken strips, and cheeses. We were spoiled all day.

We were invited to a Phoenix Rising Event here, and it was one of the best we've attended. The food was wonderful, the space for all of us worked, and although it was super hot, because of the temperatures today, the staff was incredible!!! I'm so thankful we were able to enjoy this event here. Watching my granddaughters play games with their favorite players and coaches, was the BEST!!! ❤️❤️

Dave & Buster's are always a hit in my book and this one was no exception. The staff was courteous and considerate and the place had good upkeep. Our company used one of the big party rooms and it hosted all 40 of us easily with room to spare. The food was a good variety and was great. Great location for large parties and get togethers.

I was here this past Thursday with my nephew and his wife, they took me out to unwind, and took a good look at this place and to be honest, this is the best place to be to have real fun with tons of video games. I visited before with my kids in New Jersey, and this place is very impressive. Comparing to other places i visited, i recommend this place, if you also want to grab a bite. Is a place for the family. There is however, a bar for adults. Remember, 21 and over its the law. This establishment is also located within dozens of good restaurants as well and stores. On top of this place theres a roof top where on thurs you can dance the night away. Beautiful scenery, the colors are just gorgeous. I hope when you visit this place, just have fun. God bless

Went for a marketing workshop in the back room. Lunch was provided and everything tasted great. Servers were working hard and kept the room clean and buffet stocked.

Great spot to beat the heat! Games are currently half price on Wednesdays too, which gives a great bang for your buck. Food was delicious. Check it out!

This Dave & Buster location was great. The employee was really nice. If you had a problem with any of the games, the employees would help you and give you credits. There were a couple of games closed and some that just didn't work at all but overall a great place with very nice staff. My favorite day to go is Wednesday. All the games are half off, and it's such a great deal!

I love coming here with my friends because it is so convenient and the service is awesome! Especially Lucas, who helped us on our last visit. He gave us really amazing service and we will definitely be coming back!

Came here on a whim, sat ourselves. Our waiter Jordan waa quick to assist us. Unfortunately there was a system error/shut down that caused staff to lose 3/4 of our order and Manager Amelia & Waiter Jordan were quick to rectify the situation with a comped bill, free slushies for the kids, I still wanted to tip our waiter so I had asked to tack it on to a game card - in which they comped as well! I wish I had the name of who helped us at the human claw machine, as kids ended up being too afraid to do it, so they allowed the youngest to jump on in there and grab what she wanted. In the end with the assistance of a bartender, I was able to force a tip on Mr. Jordan lol. The staff here truly went ABOVE & BEYOND customer service! We left shocked and grateful at all of the accommodations made for us. You all are awesome! Many blessings, Merry Christmas, & Happy New Year!

Djs on a rooftop has been such a great time. This was so fun to be dancing outside breathing the fresh air and having some bomb drinks. Thank you and excited to see this keep happening. Pocket full of sunshine had an amazing set and eco freak was on fire 🔥 Great vibes thank you for a beautiful night out!!!!

Cheese steak and quesadilla were awesome. Our waitress was incredibly informative and showed us the ropes for our first visit to a Dave and busters. Great experience.

My niece d d Trotter you may have heard of her she won a gold medal some years back in the Olympics and she is getting married so she brought her fiance to Mesa Arizona to for the family to get to meet and know him and we had fun at David and Busters it was really really nice to service was good the food was affordable

Tom the server and Vicky the manager were great. Great people, great service, great conversation. Would absolutely go back and make sure those 2 are working.

Had an awesome experience at the Tempe Dave & Buster’s! Sal is an absolutely amazing server — super attentive, fun, and great at keeping the atmosphere upbeat and enjoyable. He truly made our visit memorable. Huge shoutout to Vicky as well — she is an incredible manager who clearly cares about both the guests and the team. Everything ran smoothly, and you can tell she leads with positivity. Trent and Rob were also nothing but amazing and incredibly accommodating. The whole team went above and beyond to make sure we have a great time.

We had such a wonderful experience at Dave & Buster’s! The facility was impressively clean and well-kept, which made the whole visit comfortable and enjoyable. The food exceeded expectations—fresh, tasty, and served promptly. Most importantly, the manager, Amelia, went above and beyond to make the day special for my son. I just wanted to say my friends and partner threw me a surprise party here for my birthday on 12/6 and everything was fantastic. The Manager Brian and his team took great care of us and even after the party, Brian kept seeing us and stopping us on the game floor to make sure we were having a good time. He even hooked us up on a game we were playing. Thank you so much for everything and we’ll definitely be back soon!

Flying Freaking Colors! This last Thursday my wife and I had a fantastic server. May brought the energy and enthusiasm we’d expect from Dave and Busters! At the end of our dinner we told her that we absolutely loved her and she jokingly told us to leave a review and gave us a wink goodbye so that’s what we’re here to do! Thank you May for the very humorous and lovely service!

We had a pretty good time at this Dave and Busters. Hadn’t been to one in a while, but not much has changed. This one at Tempe Marketplace is huge, and I can see that it would be a really popular place to watch sports. Kind of weird to be eating and see an incredibly bloody UFC match playing on 4 ft tall screens. My girlfriend kind of lost her appetite. Also, the gameplay on some of the games seems noticeably short when compared to those at Main Event and Fat Cats. Still had a good time and the food was decent (a bit pricey but what isn’t these days).

Fun place to spend some good family time and spend a few hundred dollars if you are up for it. Games were all working well so that was a plus. Unlimited game play is limited to blue and red games? So not Unlimited lol.....and lots of opportunity to upgrade to more gaming play for more $. Didn't eat here but food looked good from what we saw.

I tried the steak dinner, normally $30, during their 50% off food promotion and was impressed. The steak was excellent, and the mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus were on par with those at a top-notch steakhouse. Though some favorite menu items have been removed, I’m excited to try other new items on my next visit.

Go and enjoy their 5 dlls special, lots of domestic drafts to choose from, and they also have 5 dlls appetizers like flatbreads, fried pickles, nachos, and more. Obviously, there are lots of games, and they offer bachata and dance classes per 5 dlls en their top roof

Good food nice server and some fun. The games are a little pricey but still a fun night out.

We always have a good time when we go. $5 drink for happy hour is a plus. They had a deal, buy coins and get a meal. We got 500 coins and boneless wings with frys. The food was good and we were able to get about 1,200 tickets. It's a good deal!

Celebrated a birthday here and it was fun all around . Plenty of games for the kids they didnt need to wait for a specific game which was great. Overall very clean . We will definitely be coming back to this location.

I was here for an anniversary party. The staff were very polite, engaging and pleasant. The food was good and the quality is as expected. The drinks seemed well balanced as well. The property was clean and tidy, as we're the bathrooms. It was a nice evening, and the staff was really great. The air conditioning was good too, it was not stuffy at all.

Food was ok. My chicken strips...2 of them were the size of chicken nuggets. I'm a tiny girl and my meal didn't fill me up. Then we went to play games(after talking with our server) and they took the leftover drink and food we had at the table. When confronted i was offered more fries but they told me my drink was gone... uh no it wasn't but ok. Fun place... they just need to make sure portions are good and also have a better system so you don't throw away customers drink and food.

I feel they need to wipe down the machines better as I got a cold from going there. I had a great time & they had some of the latest games yet not much retro like Hydro/Artic Thunder, Police 911 or Time Crisis games. I waited for 15 minutes to get service Monday, yet they didn’t come back to take my order at the bar. In hindsight, I saved $15 off Pretzel 🥨 Dogs 🌭 appetizer. Maybe I’ll give them a chance next time I’m in city The tickets for prizes could use a pamphlet or flyer / guide as they’re overpriced even for 2,500 tickets you can’t get much besides the cheap stuff

Went to dave and busters to get away from the summer heat and have something to do over the weekend. We ended up getting the kids pizza which was sooooo good! My favorite for me and my toddler. My husband got the chicken strips meal and those chicken strips are the best we have had in a long time! They were juicy, non greasy, great crunch with every bite also! Our server was very friendly and attentive also. Only complaint I have is the disappointment on how most of the games where out of order so that's always no fun. Hoping next time the games are functioning since we look forward to visit again soon since we enjoyed the food

First, our waiter was great. But we got less portions on the fries than we used to, and most of our party wasn't thrilled with how the food tasted. Some of the games wouldn't work after tapping our cards, and the gift shop is pretty disappointing compared to how it used be. It was an expensive bill and definitely could and used to be better.

The last three times I've been there the customer service has declined. I love the games and this was one of our favorite places but it can be hard to have fun when treated poorly. Maybe if we go for just the games and nothing else.

The bar area and sports venue was great, outside that, the rest of the place was average. Some of the games didn't work and card couldn't read in the swipe. Limited on options to play games.

First time at D&B and we were wildly disappointed. We were told drinks were included in the game play/food package at the front desk when we were asking questions. To our surprise, they were not included. No big deal. But the food.... not even sure what that was. We both ordered the chicken finger meal and instead of chicken fingers, we got chicken finger nails. I've seen more chicken on a single chicken wing. The fries weren't hot, and there was cilantro and green onions? In the coleslaw.. service wasnt great either. He asked twice if we wanted lemons and then didnt bring the lemons. I ordered ranch with my meal, no ranch came. We didnt get napkins and silverware until after the food was at the table and we flagged him down for it. Sweet gentleman though. The games were decent overall. There were lot of broken games that we wasted points on unfortunately because the card reader wasnt taped off. A lot of games that are "coming soon" and unplayable. Definitely NOT worth it on any day that isn't half price games. The only amazing thing they had was the VR Godzilla game. We had an absolute blast on that one!! Definitely going to try out other arcades before thinking about coming back.

I am a regular at this Dave & Buster’s, who visits frequently, and it used to be so great…But there are SOOOOO many broken games all the time now. I’m here right now and I’m just going to list all of the games that are currently broken: NFL 2-Minute Drill, Tailgate Toss, Break the Plate, Dizzy Chicken, Angry Birds Arcade, Down the Clown (one side working), Deal or No Deal, Angry Birds Coin Crash (one side working), Cyber Punk Turf Wars, Quick Drop, Spider-Man coin pusher, Black Hole, Funko Funcade (one side working) NASCAR Pit Stop (one side working), Cosmic XL claw machine, and various other partially operating multiplayer games. And this isn’t unusual, some of these games have been down for weeks and even months. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING.

Large location, it has the human claw machine, and the good basically stops there. Half of the machines were broken yesterday, some employees wanted to be anywhere but there. Rough area and rough crowd all around. Won't be back to this location for a long time.

Don’t go here for superbowl! We bought 4 tickets ahead of time and had to stand in line over an hour and then it took 1.5 hr to get our pre-paid wings. Takes over an hour to get a second drink. We got stuck on the corner worth poor views. 1.5 hr after kick off we still don’t have our food

Typical D&B space. Problem was some of the populat physical games were broken. Ax throwing was broke, hungry hippos broke. It would be nice if they could use some of that money they are making to fix or replace games.

Walked in, didn't know they were closing early. There were 4 staff members up front who watched us go to the kiosk, stand there deciding on packages, pay and receive cards. Not a single person said a word to us until we asked what section was open for dining. Only at that point did someone actually explain that they were closing in 3 minutes. Had to wait on a manager to get the charge voided. A completely ridiculous waste of time.

I went last nite, sunday, feb15, with some friends to have their first ever salsa lesson. Wow, it was horrible. I realize it's only an hour long and for 5 dollars you probably can't expect much. Howevet the instructor Brenda was intoxicated and made the "students" feel degraded with her choice of words towards them. I was embarrased for taking my friends. It was not only myself but other students felt the same. It is not the first time that I have seen her this way. Sad, but I will not be taking anymore friends to D+B . It should be a fun time, not a time to humiliated from a drunk teacher.

I was there on 11/25 as part of a large group (about 25 people). Another person tried to call ahead and warn them we were coming but they were told it was first come, first serve. We didn't need anything special, just a bunch of remote coworkers getting together for lunch and to play some games. There was 1 waitress to take orders and serve us so food took a long time to come out. I was understanding about that. Our planned time was from 11-2. I finally got my food about noon and waited while she came around for everyone to pay. She was having issues finding my order. I asked several times and was finally told that my order was coming up to $102. For chicken tenders, a Dr. Pepper and a $10 game card. I was told I could pay the $102 and they would refund me the difference. That was not happening. Finally after over an hour they tried to charge me for my order plus a $20 game card. She finally cancelled my order and put it back in. I got to pay around 2:45 and had to leave immediately after. I gave my game card to a coworker because I didn't get a chance to use it. We will no longer be planning any events here. All in all just a bad experience. Update: To make it right they offered to put more money on my game card. The one I gave to a coworker because I live in Globe and don't go to the valley often.
