Great atmosphere, service, and food. Loved the view of the creek from our table. Service was fast and correct. Employees are fantastic people, and we all loved celebrating our daughter’s/granddaughter’s graduation here. We will be back!
Love coming here! Drinks are always good. Jack wraps and stuffed avocado is the beat.
We loved the service and our stuffed shrimp avocado was amazing! Write down by the water in downtown belton we highly recommend!!!
Great place to eat. Love the margaritas. This is the only place me and my family eat when we go out. We always ask for Olga. She is the best waitress. When we are done eating we feed the ducks at the creek. Always a great time
As newcomers to Temple, we had been disappointed in the Mexican food restaurants we had tried (excluding chains which are generally good but we like the small, local eating places). We had seen this restaurant as we were driving in downtown Belton and decided to give it a try. Wow, did we find a winner. The salsa was FRESH and TASTY. The chips were just right for dipping salsa. Margaritas were very good along with great selection of beer. Ice tea was freshly made and strong enough to know you had tea. The lunch menu was great, serving sizes more than ample, and the service was fantastic. If course, we know not to try to eat lunch with those poor folks still working the 8-5 grind so as retirees, 1:30 pm is our preferred ding time. We had chicken fajitas, a beef taco salad, and cheese stuffed jalapeños wrapped in bacon. Everything was at correct temperature, seasoned well, and tasty. We will definitely be going back.
Beautiful scenery, delicious food, server was a little persistent in the beginning, as in asking if we were ready to order three times with in 5 mins of sitting down, than at the end was no where to be found. But she was nice. Sweeping while we were eating, each to there own, but I prefer to not have dust particles floating around the air. Its just my thing. Some dont matter to them. But maybe its just me and how i observe from being in the food industry and perfer not too have any guest's feel as i did. Delicious food, looked so delicious that i forgot to take a photo. Recommend this place for a great place to eat at and enjoy its uniqueness. Thanks. 💙
When we got here this evening they were super busy! My husband and I were about to head next door to Scores bar & grill to get a quick bite instead since we planned to go to a concert tonight. The manager stopped us and when my husband mentioned we were trying to get something quick due to the concert, he told us if we'd like to eat in the outdoor area he'd have us served immediately. It was crazy how fast they came and took our order and brought us our food!! The food was delicious and the coconut margarita was amazing! Thanks y'all! Love this place!
First time visiting this restaurant. Wonderful staff and service. Excellent menu to choose from. Fantastic food 👌. Beautiful view for you to enjoy. Restaurant very clean. Will be going back. Update: March 4, 2023. Really enjoyed the excellent food today. Service was outstanding. The restaurant was busy inside and the outdoor seating too. Didn't have to wait long before food was on the table. I highly recommend this restaurant. If you go, you'll will probably go back again and again. 5 ⭐'s is still my rating and is one of my favorite places to dine. Update: 12 June,2023. Everything was very nice today. Went early a was seated before the dinner rush. Always delicious food and service. Sat at the window side this time. Sorry but lots of flies this time on window screens by the tables. Beautiful view but not liking the flirt. Update: 3 Oct, 2033. Had a wonderful lunch today. Was not as crowded. Excellent 👍 service and always 5 ⭐ food. I recommend this restaurant. Update: 14 October,2024. Stopped in for a wonderful 👍 lunch. Took advantage of their $9.99 lunch specials. Always excellent 👌 service and good food.
Top notch food and fast service. Good view of the creek. And right across from the ice cream parlor. 👌
After a grueling journey I stopped in at Coronas to survey the local flavors of Belton, Texas, and was not disappointed. I got chicken enchiladas smothered in queso and two margaritas. Both items are Monday specials and so it helped save a little cash. There is something special about a darkly lit Tex Mex establishment where the food comes heaped on platters and the service is friendly, but not overly so. Straight to business with a smile. Not a whole lot of liquor in the margs but that’s why they’ll sell you multiple. If I am ever lucky enough to return to this fine Texan city I will come back to Coronas.
So happy Lyla and I found this place. This was our first trip with the furbaby and couldn't locate a restaurant we could eat with her (our stay had ended - therefore she was dragged with us). They where so nice and accommodated so we could order and get our meal to go. They even let us sit in the patio! Lyla and I thank you for your hospitality. I had the nachos Supreme. I had to take half home cause they were so well served. I'd like to ask if they would consider making menudo for Sundays menu. The atmosphere was great. We were overlooking the creek and had live music. It was a great ending for a long weekend away from home.
The seafood soup was amazing, at an amazing price!!
The food was delicious 😋 The margaritas were awesome 👌 We will definitely visit again on our next trip through.
Excellent food and service. Highly recommend.
they stayed open late Christmas eve so our 24 family group could eat dinner with the 93 yo patriarch! Great food, great service and a lot of food for the price! Great value! Highly recommend
One of my favorite places to grab a quick bite, I visit often - sometimes dine in, sometimes grab a to go box and sit at Nolan Creek. I used to work within walking distance from Coronas years ago and it was my favorite lunch spot, and now years later I gladly dine here whenever I’m in town. Their service is always fast, good sized portions and always a great atmosphere. Their beef fajitas are the bomb, and the taco salad is the best.
Good food. Service was good. Wait time was a little on the long side for how many people were currently sitting at restaurant and they did not accept reservations on a Saturday Night.
This was the first time going here my friend lives in Belton and she was looking for another Mexican restaurant, but we got lost so we ate here. It was fantastic. I’ll be back when we come down south.
Definitely worth having a dinner date at this location. They are in an excellent location in Belton Texas. Lots of menu items to choose from. They have drinks, appetizers, lunch, and dinner menu items. You’re pretty much around 50 feet away from feeding the ducks And you’re also in an area surrounded with other shops as well. Highly recommend the restaurant because of the owners, the wait staff, and the food.
Where to start. We have tasted and retested their menu! Always going back and forth8. I was gonna get that, so let me get something else. We end up sharing. All appetizers are so good! Go try a great date, nite, birthday, or just put your feet up by the water!
This place doesn't disappoint. The food is quite tasty. They have reasonable prices and the menu has a variety of items to choose from. The atmosphere is very welcoming. The restaurant's atmosphere is so relaxing that you want to sit there enjoying desert while watching the people around you having a good time. You also have a choice of sitting outside if you prefer. I have seen people enjoying their lunch while having their dogs next to them.
Great spot with good food and consistent good service. Carlos is a great server, very attentive.
Excellent food, quick service, and very reasonably priced!
Stopped on lunch, and everything was super quick! The servers were amazing, attentive, and kind. Our food came out within 10 minutes, and it was delicious. Salsa was the perfect amount of spice. Definitely plan on returning soon!
I reserved an area for a small baby shower and the staff was very accommodating and friendly. The food was great. Thank you to Audry for making sure we got everything we ordered and our drinks always filled. I would definitely recommend coming here!!!
This is a favorite place to eat and we were so happy to have them cater our daughter’s wedding. The price was very reasonable and they were so easy to work with prior to the event. We knew the food would be good, but their service at the wedding was incredible. Our timeline got off a little and I was told not to worry, the staff was here for us. So friendly and helpful and the easiest part of the wedding! We received many compliments about the food. Leftovers were packaged up and the service area was immaculate when they left. I highly recommend this restaurant for dine in or for catering!
Great spot to stop for an affordable drink and food. Eating on the patio gives a great environment to relax and hang out, while getting great service.
The restaurant is located near a great location and hopefully you will be able to over look the water, which we were. This is a wonderful town and the people are very friendly. The chips, salsa and guacamole were fresh and did not need to add salt like a lot of other places. The beef fajitas enchiladas, bean soup and ground beef enchiladas and beef tacos with refried beans were all really good. If traveling it is worth taking a few minutes to drive into town.
When you think of a stuffed avocado, you are definitely not thinking of this place. I would not recommend it for dinner unless you are eating healthy. Do not get me wrong, it was good just not what I was expecting. I would recommend you getting this with either the shrimp or the chicken instead of the other options. The reason being is because it tastes like a chicken salad 🤦🏼♀️🥑 The queso is good but I would suggest if you get it, get all of the cold items on the side or else it will turn your cheese cold 😔 🧀 The Mexican Martini was decent but even though it says it doesn't come with it, you could smell the sweet and sour mix and bottled lime juice. The La Perfecta Top Shelf was wonderful and tasted more like a Mexican Martini than the actual martini.
Not super busy on a Monday at 1pm. FOOD WAS HOT, Great prices for their specials, and fast service.
Absolutely the best service in a while. It was great atmosphere where we could actually carry on a nice conversation.
After a horrible experience at The Gin, we came across the way to this little gem. Amazing!! Service was excellent, food was great! Our waitress was simply adorable! Thanks for redeeming our almost ruined evening! We'll be back, for sure!
Waitress was attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was great. Best Mexican food in Bell County. Definitely recommend. It's our favorite hidden gem.
Good place to come for a date, but I wouldn't sit inside, necessarily. It's fairly dark and uninviting. I recommend you sit outside so you can see the river. On the weekends in the summer you may get lucky enough to see some live music in the little town square. I've had a couple palomas there and they're pretty good. They serve margaritas in those big glass challace mugs. The chips are also crispy and delicious, as is the salsa. It can be pretty spicy.
The salsa was delicious 😋. I enjoyed the view and the atmosphere. It was a lively place with an eclectic group of customers. Both locals and travelers. We stopped to eat after attending a Christian Women's retreat and it was a new venue to try here in the area. The service was quick and we were met by friendly staff. I had the shrimp tacos combo with refried beans and rice.
I have tried multiple thing over the last couple days and have loved it all! I order there and they bring over to Creekside Cigar Lounge for me. They make amazing floutas but they are not on the menu, you have to ask for them. The quesadilla, sopapillas, chicken enchiladas are all great! They even have a Big Red Margarita that is sooooo good.
I have been here several times, and it is a great restaurant. They made me some hot tea when I was an outdoor craft vendor on a cold day. They have some beautifully painted chairs and benches. I love the queso! The chicken jack wraps seemed a little tough, but everything else I have ever ordered was great. They have a large indoor patio that overlooks the river that can be reserved. There is usually plenty of parking in a public parking lot right in front. A nice place to eat with friends.
The food is good and the wait staff is very friendly. The bar could use some help on making a good margarita, otherwise they would've received 5 stars.
I love the chicken tortilla soup. The stuffed avocado 🥑 was not like the one I eat at Casa Garcia's, different but Refreshing after a hot day out. Tortilla's appeared to be store bought . Staff was very friendly. Good place to eat
The food here was good, the service was better. It was pretty busy at lunch when we arrived but we did get seated quickly. We had no issues getting chips or salsa (a bit on the weak side spice wise) and the water cups were refilled often. The only bad part was the black beans, which didn't have much flavor, but everything else was good.
I would have given 5 stars but the food is mediocre. It's very Tex-Mex. The service is always pretty good. In truth, the 4 stars are earned for their delicious margaritas and the location of the restaurant. It sits right by a lovely river (not sure what if it's a river, stream maybe.) After you enjoy your meal, go for a swim in the cool, refreshing water. It's not deep and is illuminated by safety lights all night long.
Nice and quiet place. Prices are reasonable and parking is easy. Employees are courteous and overall the food is good. My only negative view, if I absolutely had to give one, is the slow nature of the waiter. By no means was he bad, its just that it took slightly longer than usual to get our order put in and pay at the end. Keep in mind, I was trying to find something negative since I gave 4 stars. Not being snobby, but every place is always going to have something to improve on.
I love the beer-a-ritas at this place! You can sit on the patio, eat lunch and watch the water and ducks. The spinach and mushroom enchiladas are AMAZING!
The chips are pretty good service is good the food comes out hot Overall ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Food was good. No wait at 11:30. The service was good.
The food was good not great. The service was slow, although we did have a large group. It took us one and a half hours from start to finish. That's sitting down, ordering, getting our food, and paying our check. I enjoyed the chips and salsa. The crispy tacos were great. The beef enchiladas were average, they needed some spice in the meat. But I would go back here, with just my wife and I.
This is one of our "go to" spots! The food is always great, the service is awesome, and the views of our creek give this place a special something. 😉
The location is great. The food is good. I had the veggie enchiladas plate. Was really good. I personally didn't care for the Salsa so much. Tasted a little bit too tomato saucey! The chips were good. With only 2 exceptions is why i gave 4 star review. When I ordered my drink I asked for Lemonade in a to go cup. She brought me a Coke in a to go cup. No big deal. I asked to have her swap it out. She took it and said "you said coke" kinda rudely. I'm 100 percent sure I didn't order coke because I haven't had and sodas or meat in years! So she just simply misunderstood by was kinda rude about it. The last thing is the mens bathroom sink needs to be addressed. The faucet has no filter or screen. So when you turn the knob for either hot or cold water. The water pressure is great and water goes everywhere. Splashed all over me. Went on the walls and toilet. You have to barley turn the knob to control the flow of water. Looked like I peed myself and all I did was go in there to wash my hands. Also there is a 3.5% up charge on credit card payments. No extra fee if you pay with cash. Overall I would still continue to go eat there because the atmosphere and food is good.
Great location and service! Glad that I tried this place out, it in the town Square right next to small river so its nice. The inside seemed a bit dark for being the middle of the day but not a big deal. Tried the coronas queso and it was good. Food was really good, well seasoned and enough Variaty to make it hard for me to chose. Overall a solid choice.
Nice little Mexican restaurant with view of Nolan Creek and the Walking Trail. There is a fire pit out front and a bandstand just off the courtyard where the restaurant is located. The restaurant itself is nice but a tad dark inside to better show off the paintings and art work throughout the main dining area. Chips n salsa are great so is the Queso. I forget what i ate but it was good. I have been here many many times it is a favorite of mine.
This is a nice place located next to The Landing at Creekside Park. The ambience was nice and our waitress was awesome! I had a breakfast burrito and it was very filling!! My son had the huevos rancheros which he said were great! The menu is pretty simple, but we enjoyed everything about this restaurant!
Not far from a favorite haunt of ours, we finally hit Coronas De Oro. There are some great views from here so, don't be shy, ask for a window seat overlooking the water. Decor is comfortable and seating is spacious. We ordered a steak fajita burrito and a steak fajita quesadilla. I can say that service impeccable. I fell in love with the freshness of the house salsa. Flavorful and not just a heat bomb. The burrito was a little smaller than I expected, was abundantly covered in quesoecent flavor and a decent bite. The quesadilla was great and well worth grabbing again. I definitely plan to return to try other menu items but this place may have my favorite salsa, hands-down. I bet that patio looks beautiful at dusk.
pretty good food, but far better location. Really really cool place down by a river with ducks and geese around. Great place to take your family, several restaurants around it is right off the Towne Square so just a really really great location. Staff are really friendly and the food is pretty good. I had a Pachuca.
Went to dinner with some friends. It wasn’t super busy when we went, got seated right away. We each got a different margarita, regular margarita on the rocks, peach margarita on the rocks, frozen coconut margarita. The ones on the rocks were good, the coconut was not good at all won’t get that again. The food in general was good no complaints. Shrimp tacos, taco salad, quesadilla with fajita beef. The queso was eh, not the best not the worst. All in all it was a decent meal. I would go back again.
I love Mexican Food! And this beautiful establishment offers yummy Chips and Guacamole plus Veggie Enchiladas. If you want them to be Vegan just order with no cheese on your Black Beans and no rice. The Staff has always been Very Friendly. Plus, it's right in front of Nolan Creek, which the kiddos love!
The food was hot and served in a timely manner. It tasted fine; not the best Mexican food I've ever had in my life, but it was still good enough that I would go back to enjoy it again. Certainly nowhere near the worst I ever had. The atmosphere was comfortable and the view was great! But I think my favorite thing here was the incredibly fabulous service we experienced. Our server was Armani, and this young lady had the sweetest smile and most cheerful personality! She checked on us often enough in case we needed anything, but achieved the perfect balance of service, in that she didn't crowd us, either, by being constantly intrusive. I wish every waitstaff I encountered at any restaurant was as pleasant as she was. Well done, Armani, you're a most impressive server! Thank you!
I guess about 3 stars. May be because they were busy. My chicken enchiladas were so so. I've had better. The waiting staff was also so so. It wasn't until I started speaking to them in Spanish that I started seeing smiles. If you're going to operate a restaurant courtesy and friendly attitudes are a must. Am I asking too much? I don't think so, because there are plenty of other restaurants in this little area. Honestly, next time I'm in that area I'll try a different place. Maybe there will be more smiles and friendlier attitudes.
Love this place. The food is good. Great atmosphere. However, unless I’m taking a business meeting here, I can no longer come here. The service is so bad, it’s almost impressive. After last Saturday, family voted never to come here again. I’ll continue to come for work meetings, because being ignored by the wait staff is a good thing then. It’s actually a shame. Been coming here for years. It’s just gotten so complacent with the goodwill of their customers that I can no longer justify the expense.
The food and the Strawberry Margarita's here are Excellent. I had the Pollo Chipotle dish that comes with Tortillas, Beans, & Rice. I loved it. The food was prepared perfectly and quickly. However, the service is lacking. I never did get my glass of water, when I needed a refill on my lemonade no one stopped by, and it took them too long to refill our chips & salsa. I spent most of my time looking at another waiters butt because his friends were at the table next to us and he spent his whole time at their table. I would still go back because the food is that good.
The atmosphere in this establishment is great! The Chips and salsa..decent. the food however was lacking immensely. Not what I was expecting as this spot is highly recommended. The Carne guisada was just not good. Rice had way too much Chile Colorado and the beans just didn't have good flavor. Now my crispy taco was good and the meat was seasoned very well. Bit that was it. I really wanted to like this place but it just didn't do it for me.
Stopped in here for a holiday meal with family. I was a little disappointed as this used to be an excellent place. First the good: The service was great and the people serving were very accommodating, friendly and had just the right amount of attentiveness to make our time there very nice. The food, however, was not as good as I remember it being when they first opened. It was good, but not excellent. If you're in the area and looking for a solid meal with great service, though, this is a good option.
Fairly underwhelming restaurant. The first thing I noticed was how dim it was inside. It was clean and nicely decorated though. Wasn't noisy either. We were seated quickly and had a very sweet server that was attentive enough. Service wasn't bad, maybe slightly disorganized at worst. I ordered the fish taco and was dissapointed. The portion size for the price was good, but I thought it could've used more seasoning. It wasn't bad, just bland. The chips and salsa we had were pretty good. Me and 2 other people went. All in all it was just under $60 for 3 entrées, 4 beers, and a mixed drink. Everything was okay, but there are better options literally right out the door of the restaurant. It was your standard tex-mex experience. Nothing to write home about.
Everything was ok except the margaritas They were watered down and couldn't taste the liquor in them especially the ones that were on the rocks. This was a one and done dinning experience for all of us . Sorry.
Wasn't the worst but other than the flan, there was nothing to write home about. Service was excellent but there was a small plastic bag that seemed to be stir fried with either the onions or the steak, found it in our tacos de carbon. We discreetly notified the waitress, she was very apologetic and seemed very embarrassed. She told us she'd notify the manager, who came out right away and comped the meal plus offered any dessert my daughter wanted. It was a very nice location, we had a great view of the creek and there was an ice cream shop nearby. Lots of families out in the area with pets too, I believe pets are permitted on the patio
3,5. Chips and salsa were soso. Staff was friendly, but slow getting drinks, food and check. Mexican margi was not in a shaker and didn't taste good at all. Tortilla soup was really good, but my husbads meal was not hot. Steak in the chalupas was cold. Loved the location with a creek behind it.
The food was decent. The waitress was too busy talking to the other people that worked there so I waited for a while to get my check. The flies were so bad that it made me not want to go back ever again.
The food was dry, and chips were stale. I was disappointed.
Waitress had her family there her children were screaming. Crumbs all over the chairs foot slipped on fork on floor
It started off with chips that tasted of sour oil and an odd-flavored salsa. The first margarita seemed strong but the second didn’t taste its equal. We had queso but because the chips weren’t good, I didn't eat much of it. The shrimp dish was ok but I didn’t like that the food wasn’t very hot when it arrived, and the plate wasn’t even hot like normally you get warned about hot plates. The staff was nice and attentive.
Food was okay at best. Our waiter started off good, and after we got the food. We didn't see him. We had to ask someone else for refills and our check. Will not return
Terrible service , waiter didn’t bring chips or salsa , then didn’t take our order for 30 minutes. When we got our food we didn’t get silverware and let him know right way , he never brought it to us . I requested a to go box and the check never got either . Really the entire staff was not helpful. We are here on Sunday around 8 pm . Just for reference.
Let's start off with how dimly lit the place is... I had to use the light on my phone to read the menu. When I walk into a restaurant which is this dimly lit the first thing in my mind is how dirty this place must be for them to need the light this low. The service was slow and the waiter was mumbling when he spoke so it was hard to understand what he was saying. I ordered refried beans and was brought out charro beans. The tortillas were raw and doughy, store bought and not heated properly. The beans were obviously from a can and had no flavor. The carne asada was very stringy and bland. The veggie enchiladas were undercook, and bland. There was nothing authentic about this place. The food here is an insult to Mexican food. Do yourself a favor and find another restaurant.
PLEASE READ All you can say is WOW sometimes when something so ridiculous happens. I am going out of my way to write this since I hardly ever write reviews! Being in the service industry myself for a lot of years, I understand it. When your business LEGITIMATELY messes up an order, it's up to the business to correct it! If I ever brought someone food, and something turned out to be blatantly wrong with it, it's no question that it should be remade! That's a pretty standard way of doing things. Your establishment messes up, you correct it. The afternoon me and two other people attended Corona de Oro, we didn't realize we were in for a wild. My brother, ordered a veggie burrito and they got the order wrong, in TWO ways, but he didn't say anything because it was not a big deal and we usually don't say anything for pretty minor issues. About half way through, he bites into a chunk of meat. That's unacceptable for people with certain dietary preferences. So, he removes it and puts it aside. At this point he has to say something, understandably - you don't put MEAT into a veggie burrito...I think most people in the service industry can understand why this concept is important. The waiter was notified of that and the previous two minor issues. He took the plate back, and then returned saying he could only offer a half-price discount since the burrito was half eaten. For an error such as that, 99% of any other places would just remake the dang burrito and be done with it, because, that's not acceptable - even if it as "half-eaten". Obviously, he wanted to speak to the manager. When Carlos the "manager" showed up, it took a turn for the worse. Despite the situation being explained to him, he offered the same thing, half price because of the half-eaten status. That DOESN'T matter in this situation. He couldn't understand that and had his mind made up. There was no convincing him otherwise and from there, he ACCUSED us of potentially planting the meat in the food, out of no where! Not joking nor exaggerating! I have never experienced something like this!!! He said he went through the burrito "himself" and didn't find any meat. Well duh, it was removed when it was bitten into! So we asked to see the plate, and they went back and got it, lo and behold, the piece of meat, that was obviously set aside was missing. Incredible. He implied we were lying, and was being sarcastic and passive aggressive. That is not how you treat customers. After a while he just kept repeating himself and not making sense, and even threatening to call the cops if the burrito wasn't paid for. Why would we plant meat in a veggie burrito to get a $12 burrito? Not only that, there was nothing wrong with anything else! Also, yall have CAMERAS, so go back and watch the videos if you think we "planted" meat in a burrito. Absolutely insane. Moral of the story is don't eat here if Carlos is working, or if you expect to ever encounter something wrong with your order!
We used to love this place but after today we will not go back. The salsa was just bad with no real flavor. Tasted like canned tomato sauce with big onion chunks in it. I got the lunch fajitas and they were inedible with a ton of overwhelming lime flavor. The guacamole was just weird tasting. My husband had the enchiladas and they were not that good. He didn't even finish them. We eat Mexican food every Friday so we know good Mexican food. This was not worth the money. Never again!
I've gone to Coronas pretty regularly the past few years. I'd say 50% of the time they get a small detail of my order wrong. I almost never say anything. Only time I have is one time there was a long black hair on my burrito. As it turns out, the same guy (Carlos) who gave me issues the last time that happened is the reason I'm writing this review. He was trying to make me pay for my replacement food when someone else had told me I could get another burrito for free the next day. Anyways, a couple days ago I was there, ordered a veggie burrito because I am a vegetarian, with no queso and with black beans inside. There were no black beans inside and there was queso on it. I thought no big deal I'll eat it anyways. I get just over halfway thru the burrito and I get a big chunk of meat in my mouth. At this point I asked the waiter for a new burrito. He said the manager said no, and when I spoke to him (Carlos), he said he found no meat in the burrito and their policy states I can't get a new one, only a discount on another one. He must have deliberately removed the chunk of meat on my plate. The food was ruined for me and he did not care in the least. He accused me of lying about the meat being on the plate and said he would call the police if I didn't pay for the burrito. It was not after thoroughly being upset with him that he said ok you can just leave you don't have to pay. That was the worst service I've ever recieved and the man should be fired immediately. I will never come back until I know he's gone
Server messed up order a few times ... order quesadilla with guac no sour cream got quesadilla with sour cream no guac. Ordered soda no ice got it with ice. Asked literally 5 times to have it without ice. Went in to restroom after a server ... sink was not wet so presume they did not wash their hands. Not a good experience.
I ate here yesterday got really sick after I ate the Coronas dip and fajita of theirs. Don't recommend this place. Never going back. Unless you want to go to the hospital.
Called to be reassured our dog was allowed and they said yes. Called back the next day to make reservations for 10 and they said no dogs.On both calls I was illegally asked if it was a service dog. We have been coming here since it opened and the one in Temple before that and Ruthy's in Lorena before that. I recomend George's in Hewitt for the win!
Restaurant dirty, floors dirty with lots a garbage, the waitress with dirty uniform. My husband order a negra modelo they brought different beer, they bring the correct beer, but they charged us for the one that they brought by mistake. The menus with mystery sauce on the pages. We will not come back to this place, this was our first and last time.
For this place to label itself as an authentic mexican food restaurant is laughable. From dirty silverware to a 50 minute wait time from ordering to receive food is ridiculous. For starters I order a simple carne asada plate with beans and rice and 2 carne asada tacos. The wife ordered their enchilada plate. Upon receiving the food and silverware noticed the utensils had visible food still on them. The carne asada was not marinated and was tasteless. The rice also had no flavor to it at all and was mushy. The beans weren't bad actually pretty good. The 2 carne asada tacos were actually fajita meat (and for those that say they are the same are wrong. Carne asada is made from a thinner flank cut) the tacos tasted like expired meat. I even tried to throw a bunch of puco de galo and lime on top to mask the taste and was terribly disappointed. The enchiladas has no sauce on them at all and just tasted like a gob of cheese once again not authentic mexican food. The servers themselves were nice and asked if I wanted chips and salsa 6 times which that was sadly the best food they had in this place. The only thing good about this place is that you have a stream right next to it. Other than that this place is truly just a weird idea of what someone thinks is mexican food but falls far short. I won't recommend this place to literally anybody to eat at. Its disgusting this food was so bad we didn't even finish a 1/4 of it. Just paid the bill and left
