After a horrible experience at The Gin, we came across the way to this little gem. Amazing!! Service was excellent, food was great! Our waitress was simply adorable! Thanks for redeeming our almost ruined evening! We'll be back, for sure!
Waitress was attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was great. Best Mexican food in Bell County. Definitely recommend. It's our favorite hidden gem.
Good place to come for a date, but I wouldn't sit inside, necessarily. It's fairly dark and uninviting. I recommend you sit outside so you can see the river. On the weekends in the summer you may get lucky enough to see some live music in the little town square. I've had a couple palomas there and they're pretty good. They serve margaritas in those big glass challace mugs. The chips are also crispy and delicious, as is the salsa. It can be pretty spicy.
The salsa was delicious 😋. I enjoyed the view and the atmosphere. It was a lively place with an eclectic group of customers. Both locals and travelers. We stopped to eat after attending a Christian Women's retreat and it was a new venue to try here in the area. The service was quick and we were met by friendly staff. I had the shrimp tacos combo with refried beans and rice.
I have tried multiple thing over the last couple days and have loved it all! I order there and they bring over to Creekside Cigar Lounge for me. They make amazing floutas but they are not on the menu, you have to ask for them. The quesadilla, sopapillas, chicken enchiladas are all great! They even have a Big Red Margarita that is sooooo good.
I have been here several times, and it is a great restaurant. They made me some hot tea when I was an outdoor craft vendor on a cold day. They have some beautifully painted chairs and benches. I love the queso! The chicken jack wraps seemed a little tough, but everything else I have ever ordered was great. They have a large indoor patio that overlooks the river that can be reserved. There is usually plenty of parking in a public parking lot right in front. A nice place to eat with friends.
Nice little Mexican restaurant with view of Nolan Creek and the Walking Trail. There is a fire pit out front and a bandstand just off the courtyard where the restaurant is located. The restaurant itself is nice but a tad dark inside to better show off the paintings and art work throughout the main dining area. Chips n salsa are great so is the Queso. I forget what i ate but it was good. I have been here many many times it is a favorite of mine.
This is a nice place located next to The Landing at Creekside Park. The ambience was nice and our waitress was awesome! I had a breakfast burrito and it was very filling!! My son had the huevos rancheros which he said were great! The menu is pretty simple, but we enjoyed everything about this restaurant!
Not far from a favorite haunt of ours, we finally hit Coronas De Oro. There are some great views from here so, don't be shy, ask for a window seat overlooking the water. Decor is comfortable and seating is spacious. We ordered a steak fajita burrito and a steak fajita quesadilla. I can say that service impeccable. I fell in love with the freshness of the house salsa. Flavorful and not just a heat bomb. The burrito was a little smaller than I expected, was abundantly covered in quesoecent flavor and a decent bite. The quesadilla was great and well worth grabbing again. I definitely plan to return to try other menu items but this place may have my favorite salsa, hands-down. I bet that patio looks beautiful at dusk.
pretty good food, but far better location. Really really cool place down by a river with ducks and geese around. Great place to take your family, several restaurants around it is right off the Towne Square so just a really really great location. Staff are really friendly and the food is pretty good. I had a Pachuca.
Went to dinner with some friends. It wasn’t super busy when we went, got seated right away. We each got a different margarita, regular margarita on the rocks, peach margarita on the rocks, frozen coconut margarita. The ones on the rocks were good, the coconut was not good at all won’t get that again. The food in general was good no complaints. Shrimp tacos, taco salad, quesadilla with fajita beef. The queso was eh, not the best not the worst. All in all it was a decent meal. I would go back again.
I love Mexican Food! And this beautiful establishment offers yummy Chips and Guacamole plus Veggie Enchiladas. If you want them to be Vegan just order with no cheese on your Black Beans and no rice. The Staff has always been Very Friendly. Plus, it's right in front of Nolan Creek, which the kiddos love!
The food was hot and served in a timely manner. It tasted fine; not the best Mexican food I've ever had in my life, but it was still good enough that I would go back to enjoy it again. Certainly nowhere near the worst I ever had. The atmosphere was comfortable and the view was great! But I think my favorite thing here was the incredibly fabulous service we experienced. Our server was Armani, and this young lady had the sweetest smile and most cheerful personality! She checked on us often enough in case we needed anything, but achieved the perfect balance of service, in that she didn't crowd us, either, by being constantly intrusive. I wish every waitstaff I encountered at any restaurant was as pleasant as she was. Well done, Armani, you're a most impressive server! Thank you!
Food was okay at best. Our waiter started off good, and after we got the food. We didn't see him. We had to ask someone else for refills and our check. Will not return
Called to be reassured our dog was allowed and they said yes. Called back the next day to make reservations for 10 and they said no dogs.On both calls I was illegally asked if it was a service dog. We have been coming here since it opened and the one in Temple before that and Ruthy's in Lorena before that. I recomend George's in Hewitt for the win!
Restaurant dirty, floors dirty with lots a garbage, the waitress with dirty uniform. My husband order a negra modelo they brought different beer, they bring the correct beer, but they charged us for the one that they brought by mistake. The menus with mystery sauce on the pages. We will not come back to this place, this was our first and last time.
For this place to label itself as an authentic mexican food restaurant is laughable. From dirty silverware to a 50 minute wait time from ordering to receive food is ridiculous. For starters I order a simple carne asada plate with beans and rice and 2 carne asada tacos. The wife ordered their enchilada plate. Upon receiving the food and silverware noticed the utensils had visible food still on them. The carne asada was not marinated and was tasteless. The rice also had no flavor to it at all and was mushy. The beans weren't bad actually pretty good. The 2 carne asada tacos were actually fajita meat (and for those that say they are the same are wrong. Carne asada is made from a thinner flank cut) the tacos tasted like expired meat. I even tried to throw a bunch of puco de galo and lime on top to mask the taste and was terribly disappointed. The enchiladas has no sauce on them at all and just tasted like a gob of cheese once again not authentic mexican food. The servers themselves were nice and asked if I wanted chips and salsa 6 times which that was sadly the best food they had in this place. The only thing good about this place is that you have a stream right next to it. Other than that this place is truly just a weird idea of what someone thinks is mexican food but falls far short. I won't recommend this place to literally anybody to eat at. Its disgusting this food was so bad we didn't even finish a 1/4 of it. Just paid the bill and left
