El lugar es muy lindo, la comida es buena, pero es caro. Me parece que deberían agregar al menú algunos platillos típicos de la región. Las porciones son generosas.

So I have read other reviews and agree with some and disagree with others. We had a large group and I polled everyone on the quality of food. The average was 3/5. I’m plant based and the restaurant was very accommodating. My food was excellent. I had the mixed salad, taboule and water. We walked in the restaurant at 6:00 pm and received our food 7:17 pm. That doesn’t bother me. I have the European perspective on a slow social meal. There was no pressure for tips nor was the food overly expensive. I would go back.

El lugar es muy conveniente, esta lindo por dentro y ameno el ambiente. La comida es regular a un precio regular y el servicio es decente. Diría que es práctico, el lugar es bonito, pero la cocina es mala.

The food was good, but it was a Friday night, and they had run out of a lot of things on the menu. We ordered the parrillada and only the Cezina style steak had flavor. Everything else was just OK. The place was nice looking but completely empty. Only one couple came in while we were there. The waiter was kind but clueless. He didn't know the menu or what anything was. The busboy was more knowledgeable and very professional. Prices were ok for the area and type of restaurant.

A very beautiful location in the center of Tepoztlán, a historic building with a lovely patio. I admit we were drawn in by the appearance. The menu offers various dishes, but we wanted something lighter, so we ordered two chicken dishes: one with lemon and one with parmesan. We didn't take into account that the menu indicated the chicken was in 500-gram portions: huge but tasty, accompanied by roasted vegetables. The price is a bit steep: for two (very generous) chicken dishes, a carafe of Jamaican water, and a digestif, we spent M$600, about €25. The service was very friendly.

La crema no estaba tan crema tenía demasiado champiñón y cebolla en trozo, la carne estaba buena pero el mesero ni sabía qué contenía mi paquete y daba muchas vueltas mejor pedí mi comida para llevar y ni nos quedamos al brindis cosa que se perdió obviamente junto a las uvas pues fue desesperante ver qué el mesero me preguntaba qué iba a pedir cuando se dejó liquidado toda la cena y le enseñe la foto del menú que elegimos, sinceramente no volvería a considerar el lugar para cena de fin de año.

I hadn't visited since before the pandemic. The place is still very nice, the prices are, let's say, reasonable, but the food menu is limited and the seasoning has changed for the worse. What I liked least is that they don't accept credit cards and don't notify you before ordering. They want cash, bank transfer, or, rather forcefully, they use the clip app, but they add 4%. The advertisements clearly state that they accept Visa and Mastercard. That was quite unpleasant.

Buenas tardes. Deberían buscar gente capacitada para los puestos de mesero, le pedimos más de 5 veces los platillos de los cuales ninguno de los 2 meseros sabían que contenían ni el tamaño de la porción. Comida sin sazón y mal calentada, de un día antes, agua sin sabor y al tiempo. Al pedir la cuenta, nos exigían propina de más del 10% y por ende, no nos dejaban salir. Pésimo servicio, no recomendado

Le doy una estrella porque no se justifican los altos precios de los platillos en relación con la calidad. Una sopa de tortilla ($100) mediocre, el caldo estaba bueno pero se puede mejorar bastante. Pero en el plato fuerte no tuvieron vergüenza. Una pechuga de pollo mal cocinada (las orillas estaban duras, estaba seca y plana) bañada en mole que sí estaba bueno, pero sin ningún acompañamiento y era una porción pequeña. Por 300 pesos, ese platillo no lo vale para nada. Al final hubo un error con los precios que pudo haber sido solucionado sin mayor problema, pero uno de los meseros desde el inicio llegó con una actitud pedante y prepotente y solo lo empeoró todo. Arruinó la buena experiencia que habíamos tenido con la mesera que nos atendió. El lugar es bonito y llama la atención al pasar por fuera, pero definitivamente no volvería ni lo recomendaría.

Pésimo servicio. La verdad tardan mucho en servir. No tienen organización, no sacan los platos en orden. Cuando haces la observación de que ya tardaron se enojan y solo culpan a la cocina. La verdad los alimentos no son tan buenos como para el tiempo de espera. Nada recomendable.

Frozen food that was poorly reheated before being served. The menu is huge, but they tell you they don't have everything they advertise. The portions are very small and unbalanced. The main course only includes one side dish, making a large plate with a small portion and a side dish on the side. It doesn't look appetizing at first glance. And then you taste the dish, and it's bland. For something to make me feel sick, it has to be really old and just reheated. They should pay attention to quality. We expected more because the place looks nice, but the fact that there were no other diners should have raised a red flag.

The place is nice, however, they take too long to prepare the food, I ordered a tortilla soup, which cost $100 pesos and it had two tortillas at most, I also ordered a meat molcajete that cost $200 pesos and Una cucaracha brings more meat than the molcajete, also, the meat was very bland, flavorless, and the molcajete was full of onions. The first bill they brought me was wrong, I don't know if they did it on purpose, I complained about the portions, but there was nothing else to do, high prices, very small portions.
