Delicious Donut shop. They have a really good apple fritter and their kolaches are some of the best in the DFW area. Their version of the cronut was flaky and delicious. Staff were friendly and service was fast. Their prices are average for the area. Definitely go early if you want the best selection as this place is popular and they quite often sell out of the best stuff. Overall if you live donuts give them a try or two ;)
Such a great mom and pop donut shop inside a restaurant! Cream fill — so much fresh cream and it was not too sweet! The bottom has a light crisp too which was a nice surprise for such a light cloud donut Crème brûlée — nicely torched top and a custard cream that was also not too sweet ✨ Cronut — a little greasy for my preference but I haven’t had many cronuts so tough to compare I’ll be back for the apple fritter!
SO. DELICIOUS. We gave this place a try after a doctor's appointment bc we figured if it closes at 12:30 it has to be good... We were right! Plain donut holes that melt in your mouth, a giant apple fritter you can *hear* the good texture of when you pull a piece off, I swear it was better than most apple *pies* I've had. Plus a chocolate cronut that turned out to be iced in like... Real icing? Like ganache? SO. GOOD. and the donuts are all so puffed and big and have the perfect texture and aren't over-sweetened. 100% give this place a try
Hands-down, the best apple fritter I’ve ever had in my life! I’ve traveled all over Dallas, looking for the best fritter, and twinkle donuts has come out on top! All the other donuts I tried there are Incredibles as well
Arrived at 11:30am, not many donut options left, likely due to the shop's popularity. Picked four different flavors, all of which were delicious. We especially enjoyed the Cookies and Cream, fluffy with a perfectly sweet filling. Next time we’d come earlier in the morning to try more of the available varieties. Staff welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend.
We ordered donuts for a large LISD PTAs event. Twinkle delivered and more. The custom donuts were gorgeous, the “regular” donuts were stellar, the kolaches and burritos were incredible. Everything was gone within 30 minutes and we got a ton of compliments. I’ve gone there before with just my family, but they absolutely exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend.
Quite possibly the BEST donuts I've ever had, and I get donuts everywhere I travel.
You'll never have a bad experience here. Donuts are delicious. Young lady at the counter is always nice.
A Rare Find: Fresh Donuts, Great Coffee & a Smart Twist This morning, I told my daughter how rare it is to find a place that serves both excellent donuts and quality coffee. Then I found Twinkle Doughnuts in The Colony—just 4 minutes north of 121 on Paige Road—and it delivered exactly what I was hoping for. The coffee is made to order using freshly ground beans, Italian-style—rich, smooth, and far better than what you’d expect from a typical donut shop. The donuts are fresh, warm, and made with care. The space is open and welcoming, blending classic coffeehouse charm with a touch of modern Asian design. And here’s a clever twist: after breakfast hours, the shop doesn’t close—it transforms into a Korean restaurant. A smart, efficient use of space that adds even more value. Family-owned, thoughtfully run, and truly worth the visit. Wishing them continued success—and hoping they expand soon. Please come to Frisco!
Great service vibes really clean. The new special spicy burrito is amazing. Egg cheese bacon sausage hash brown jalepeno and with a side of creamy green sauces is amazing. It’s all cooked fresh unlike the normal doughnut shops that are limited in the kitchen. Will be back soon. Like 3pm soon to try come chicken fried rice .
I love donuts! I've tried them all over the country in my travels. Twinkle Donuts are in my top ten! Please try them. The Pistachio Cream was divine and the Hazelnut gorgeous. I really liked the cream filled too. The cake donut was not my favorite. I can't wait to go back and try some other flavors today!
What great donuts! I was looking for a place on my way out of town that wasn't a big chain where I could get a good donut and a good iced coffee, mission accomplished! Husband wanted to share a pumpkin cake donut, I'm not a fan of cake donuts because they're dry and over done but not these, they were perfect. The Maple bacon donut was delightful. Then there was the Homer iced coffee, espresso with strawberry milk, Mr Simpson would approve. The place got five stars not only for their donuts but for their efficient use of space, donuts are served until 1pm then it turns into the Rice Bar. Both restaurants look fabulous.
My favorite donut place in DFW. I've ordered from them regular doughnuts a few times and I've been happy with their service and flavor every time. Nice thing about Twinkle is that they also custom make doughnuts for different occasions so I got doughnuts for two of my coworker's baby showers and they came out great. Doughnuts are so soft in texture and I like that they're not overly sweet. They also have a ton of varieties of doughnuts that you can choose from. Their cronuts are so good!!! I've been meaning to go back to try their milk buns but haven't gotten a chance yet. I would definitely go back for more of their doughnuts. Side note - they also have custom cake service (which I have used a couple times) and they're amazing as well. Highly recommend this place for all the sweet stuff!
Always a pleasure visiting Twinkle. They have a fun variety of fresh donuts. The yeast donuts are pretty standard but the fancier ones we've had are great! Also, their toastie is easily one of my favorite breakfast sandwiches in DFW. They use milk bread and add a hash brown to the sandwich. It also comes with a delicious cream sauce. The staff is usually bustling in the back but always provide kind service. Great place to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee with a friend or get some work done. Highly recommend a visit!
Twinkle Donuts in The Colony is an absolute gem! The donuts are simply delicious, and their baked items like kolaches, burritos, and toasties are a must-try. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, adding to the charming hole-in-the-wall feel of this boutique donut shop. I love that it’s family-owned and that they offer different flavors and regular changes to their menu. My kids beg to go each week, and it’s easy to see why—it’s a fantastic place to satisfy your sweet tooth and enjoy a cozy atmosphere. Don’t forget to get the green sauce with your burrito or toasties; it adds an extra kick that’s just perfect. Get there early to grab your favorite flavors. Highly recommended!
This place is fantastic! Not your average donut shop. I’ve placed a special order from them for a baby shower and their donuts are a work of art! All delicious and unique flavors, excellent customer service. A must try! Once I was having a rough morning and decided to stop here. I came late and a lot of their bestsellers were already sold out. The owner said she could make the donut I wanted even though they were out. Such amazing customer service and kindness! Can’t say enough good things

Great place for donuts and toasties!! You have to get some toasties here, they are delicious! The mini donuts are a must also!!
I've been coming here for years, and have never been disappointed. The doughnuts and coffee are high quality, the staff is very friendly, and the atmosphere is so chill. I love supporting a local business that takes pride in their work. Please come here. You will not be disappointed. Heads up! They don't have Gluten-Free options, but I have not tried asking in advance if they would make it.
Appleton fritters are the best in the DFW. Haven't had anything bad here and love trying different donuts. Milk tea donuts on the weekend was soo good.

This place is absolutely delicious. If you have the time, it’s 100% worth stopping by because the donuts are amazing and clearly made with care. The only reason I don’t come as often as I’d like is the service speed. There’s usually just one cashier, and if you order coffee as well, it can slow things down quite a while; even though the donuts are already made. It’s not the easiest spot for a quick grab-and-go before work, as waits can easily be 15 minutes or more. That said, the quality of the donuts makes it worth it if you come in with the mindset to sit, relax, and enjoy rather than rush in and out.

I give 3.5 stars. Love the twist of this establishment! Donuts and coffee sold until 1 and Korean food sold from 3-9 Loved the ambiance, music is playing in the background and customer service. Drinks; My daughter loved the taste of the Strawberry Matcha Latte. I did not enjoy the Lavender Latte; however one of the owners offered to remake it with a different syrup. I requested latte without flavor and the initial sip tasted better than with the syrup. About five to ten minutes after I left I realized that I tasted less of the espresso and more of the oat milk that is not as creamy as Planet Oat Milk Creamer. Food: Kids perspectives: the glazed donut is fresh and tastes like it should. Small donuts are too sweet. Chocolate icing on the donuts did not like the taste. My perspective: Toaster is fresh and a portion big enough to share. I love the hash brown in it Lemon blueberry donut tad too sweet. Glazed donut a tad dry They sell pop sockets and handmade magnets (not pictured). I would come back for the Tosster and plan to come back to try the Korean food.
