Excellent customer service. I loved my chilaquiles and the hot chocolate was really good. We went on a Sunday morning and we didn’t have to wait to be seated like in other restaurants. We will come back again.

The food is very tasty, i bit expensive but good. I wouldn't recommend the ranchera plate because you dont get a piece of meat but a bunch of small ones. Still good though.

siempre voy con mi familia, de hecho aqui recibimos el año nuevo, también elegimos este lugar para festejar cumpleaños y convivir, el servicio es increíble, nos tratan siempre muy bien. Los platillos son económicos, ricos y de buena calidad. Como postre el burrito de manzana es mi recomendación 🍎

Don't get this place confused with the taco shop across the street (curiously named Tacos La Vuelta... hmmmm... tsk tsk). This is a full-fledged restaurant, with a variety of seating, an upper-level, and a stage large enough to hold a mariachi band (performances begin around 8 pm). It's been in business for decades and has a historic feel. WiFi is strong. Though I have had better tampiqueña elsewhere in the United States as well as in Mexico, that didn't stop me from eagerly scarfing up every single bite of it here. The kitchen even accommodated my request for a substitute side dish, for which I am grateful. As mentioned in other reviews, the friendly service really sets this eatery apart from others. Whenever I visit a new restaurant for the first time, I make no secret of it. This sometimes results in a delighted (and delightful) response from the staff; today's first time visit produced an especially sweet reaction. The server was funny and high-energy. The hostess not only invited me to tour the closed upper level so I could take pictures, she also alerted what seemed to be the restaurant manager, who came over to introduce herself personally. This above-and-beyond effort makes La Vuelta worth a second visit and more.

It is a very family oriented place; the mariachi plays every 30 minutes with your requests if you have them; the waiters are very friendly.

Agradable el lugar pero les falta más ambiente. Equipar el lugar con sonido para que se escuche el mariachi mejor. Y cuando no está el mariachi amenizar el lugar con música 🎶 🤷 Nuestra mesera de lujo una atención maravillosa pregunten por Maggie 5+ para ella.

Primera vez visitando el lugar, en sabado aprox 11pm El servicio es regular. Si no es tu mesero raramente te atiende otro. Salvo la persona de la barra, Muy atenta. La comida tiene un sazón regular, ordenamos una parrillada. Las tortillas son medidas; nos traían de 4 tortillas en 4 tortillas en un solo tortillero para 4 personas en la mesa. Sin problema hubiéramos pagado por un kilo extra. Loa tragos son de lo mejor.

Old school, traditional Tijuana Mexican restaurant with Mariachis at night. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It's not as good as it used to be but we still like coming here; just less frequently. Today, the cooking oil was a little old so the taste wasn't superb as it can be.

Menudo is good how ever I don't understand why grano is put in it . Pozole is one thing menudo is another. Tampiqueńa is a ripoff.. 400 pesos for a piece of meat that was over cooked the portion is small for the price. And the quality is bad for the price. Dont wait your money on the tampiqueña. This was on a Friday 9am breakfast hour.

I was excited to experience this place. I’m sorry to say, it’s not what I was expecting. Never mind the humble nature of this place. I was there to listen to the mariachi. Sadly, they were not that good. Subpar at best.
