La verdad es que el sitio está genial. Vinimos un sábado de agosto, previa reserva claro, y salimos encantados, pensamos que iba a estar mucho más masificado pero no, se estaba genial. Comimos: pata de pulpo, brocheta de pollo, tomate con mozarella, pizza texas, espeto de sardinas y un plato de paella para compartir todo entre 4 personas. Lo que más nos ha gustado es el pulpo, el tomate y la paella pero es que estaba todo espectacular de rico, acabamos pidiendo pan para mojar todo. La atención de los camareros es genial, son rápidos sirviendo, traen la comida rápido y muy atentos. Os recomendamos reservar y venir a probarlo, merece la pena. Hemos tocado a 27€ persona con postre bebida y todo
Descubrimos este chiringuito este verano y seguro que otros años volvemos. A la mediodía comimos espetos de sardinas muy buenos y por la noche disfrutamos de una sesión de música en vivo probando sus pizzas al horno de leña. Top
Lo encontramos buscando restaurantes por la zona que no tuvieran horario de turista. Nos encantó, tanto la comida como el trato del personal y el ambiente. Las pizzas riquísimas. El pan de ajo un 10, estaba tremendo. Los espetos ... súper buenos. El último día encargamos un arroz negro para comer y estaba tremendo. Lo recomendamos mil por mil.
Nuestra experiencia en el Chiringuito Mambo fue simplemente espectacular. Desde que llegamos, Jesús nos brindó una atención excepcional: siempre pendiente, amable y muy profesional. La comida fue excelente, especialmente los camarones al pil pil, que estaban sabrosos y perfectamente preparados (y limpios). Pero lo que más sorprendió fue el pan de ajo al horno: crujiente y delicioso. ¡A mi hijo le gustó tanto que me pidió que le pidiera otro más! Un lugar al que sin duda queremos volver. ¡Muy recomendado!
Hemos estado hoy almorzando dos personas y me ha encantado el sitio. Lo descubrimos de casualidad y es estupendo. Llegamos a las 15.30h, pensando que no podríamos coger mesa y no tuvimos problema. Comimos bajo la zona techada, junto a la barra y se estaba muy fresquito para el calor que hacía, con musiquita de fondo, muy agradable. Pedimos una ensalada de la casa, que estaba divina y bien de cantidad y dos raciones de paella (porque hacen paella grande los domingos). La paella estaba deliciosa, abundante, con pollo, gambones, chocos...muy buena. Los camareros fueron majísimos y nos atendieron rápido. Tienen una vitrina con unos postres muy vistosos. Nosotros probamos el tiramisú y fue todo un acierto. De precios, no es lo más barato de la zona, pero sí bastante barato para ser chiringuito a pie de playa (Ej: te puedes comer una pizza por 10,50€). Quedamos encantados. La playa nos pareció bastante buena (entendiendo cómo son las playas de Málaga). Sin duda, recomiendo el sitio.
Fuimos a comer, sin reserva previa, cuatro personas y nos atendieron inmediatamente. El chiringuito está en primera línea de playa y la atención de los camareros es rápida y son muy amables. En cuanto a la comida, todo muy bueno, cuidado y bien presentado. Pedimos espetos de sardinas, ensalada, arroz Thai, rosada a la plancha, hamburguesas gourmet y tarta de queso. Todos los platos estaban muy ricos. La relación calidad/precio es muy buena. Se cumplen las medidas anticovid.
La comida está fabulosa. Las pizzas hechas en el horno están riquísimas. El local está muy bien decorado, hay muy buen ambiente y tiene algunos detalles que merecen la pena como por ejemplo unas mantitas por si hace un poco de fresquito al lado del mar. Aparte de que la comida y el trato es maravilloso se encuentra en un lugar privilegiado comiendo a la orilla misma del mar. Lo recomiendo!!
Es un sitio entrañable, me hace sentir bien, hace nuestras vacaciones muy agradables. El sitio es una preciosidad, el trato, cercano y profesional es de 10 . La cocina es muy buena. Carnes de calidad , las pizzas ( (mi especial enhorabuena al pizzero) exquisitas y el Tiramisú hay que probarlo! Todo de 10. No os hablo de mi opinión acerca de un sitio al que fui un día. Si no de un Sitio que llevo frecuentando cuatro veranos seguidos, es uno de mis alicientes para regresar a Torrox el próximo verano . No puedo poner muchas fotografías porque ciertamente cuándo llego aquí me siento tan agusto que no tengo tiempo de coger el móvil para retratar el momento, sé que hay gente que me entenderá. Si me paro para coger el teléfono y escribir esta opinión, es solo para poder valorar el buen hacer de estas personas que se dejan aquí la piel día día para que otros como nosotros podamos pasar un verano estupendo. Qué recomiendo? Los espetos que no falten, las carnes de excelente calidad.. perfecto relación calidad/precio. El tiramisú.
Restaurante que tiene de todo, súper recomendado. Recomiendo cualquier carne y pescado, no fallaréis en la elección. Por cierto, no teníamos reserva y estaba lleno, y el camarero nos sacó una mesa de la nada.
Excellent restaurant, and superb views of the sunset over the Mediterranean. One of the best mixed paella dishes myself and my wife have ever had, and we have had lots! I could also recommend the meat skewers.
Very enjoyable lunch here, great staff and the food was very fresh, they even brought out the fish we were going to eat! Excellent prices I thought too, 2 beers, 2 coffees starter , 2 mains and 2 cakes under 50 euros! Very impressive.
Ate there last night and stayed for the music. The food and the service was very good - the staff were really busy but they were all very pleasant and friendly. We shared an avocado salad ( I always have this when I go there) and can highly recommend the prawns pil pil - the sauce is fabulous. Lovely atmosphere and a great evening.

Mambo is a fine restaurant with fresh seafood and juicy steaks and fresh meat for a very afordable price. I had the shrimps pill pill for starters, wow, spicy, garlic best I had for a long time. If you like spicy its a must. Lovely seaview, will come back for sure.👍
This restaurant is right on the beach with fabulous views across the sea. I only had drinks here but the food does look amazing, I will definitely be back.
Love Mambo. It was the first place I came and the last before I left. Great atmosphere, fun, approachable wait staff...and even a Mambo monkey. Try the Avocado salad, sardines, pizzas and Pil Pil.

Una experiencia genial en Chiringuito Mambo, en Torrox Costa. El sitio tiene muy buen ambiente, perfecto para disfrutar frente al mar, pero lo que realmente destaca son sus pizzas. La masa está en su punto, crujiente por fuera y esponjosa por dentro, con ingredientes de calidad y muy bien combinados. Mención especial para el pizzero, que se nota que le pone pasión y sabe lo que hace. Las pizzas salen muy buenas y con un sabor que marca la diferencia.
Comida en verano. Bastante afluencia de público. La comida rica y el servicio atento y simpático. No era posible pedir arroz porque iba a tardar mucho. Quizá los precios me parecieron un poco elevados. Me gustó especialmente la ensalada y el espeto
Sitio muy tranquilo y con un buen trato, en seguida nos sirvieron y nos aconsejaron pescado fresco que es lo que queríamos, los espetos muy buenos y el pescado (no recuerdo bien el nombre) muy sabroso, el atún rojo que pedimos estaba bien y el trato de los camareros mejor no pudimos estar, la tarta de queso lo que menos me gustó pero estaba decente
Raciones algo escuetas y el calamar a la romana un poco duro, pero los espetos están para chuparse los dedos. Todo lo demás bastante rico. Aunque no tienen salón (se podría decir que es todo terraza) está bien distribuida y hay una brisa estupenda con vistas al mar te sientes donde te sientes. No pasamos nada de calor. Se equivocaron con la cuenta y nos cobraron una botella de vino de otra mesa, menos mal que nos dimos cuenta y nos devolvieron el dinero.
Chiringuito muy bien situado y acogedor, en el cual tomamos; espetos, ensalada de atún, calamares a la andaluza, podría mejorar un poco la calidad de sus productos.Psrece ser que en este restaurante su especialidad son las pizzas ya que disponen de un horno de piedra y casi todos los clientes estaban comiendo ensaladas y pizzas. El servicio fue muy lento y tuvimos que estar pendientes todo el rato para solicitar más bebida y cafés.
Es el chiringuito de las vaquitas. Espectaculares las pizzas. Pero lo mejor, los espetos de sardinas y la lubina el espeto, que sale muy jugosa. Tiene un buen wok de verduras. Muy bien situado con buenas vistas. Lo malo, la bebida, no está cuidada, no tienen las copas frías, y la cerveza no está muy fría. El tinto de verano es de barril, una castaña. Con mejores bebidas pediríamos más consumiciones.
He estado algunas veces y ok. Vale la pena ir para ver la puesta del sol que es belíssima. El chiringuito tiene vistas muy guays. La comida.. un poco cara, de las 5 veces que fuimos solamente en una tenían los espeto de sardinas. Tienen música en vivo en algunos días de la semana. Los cócteles son lo mejor que tienen, aun que la última vez que fui el segundo drink que pedí tardo un poco en venir y el hielo ya se había derretido. Los camareros son atentos.
Muy recomendado, aunque con un pequeño aspecto que podrían mejorar. La comida es deliciosa y el restaurante tiene una ubicación privilegiada con vistas al mar, ideal para disfrutar de la brisa marina mientras cenas. Sin embargo, alrededor de las 23:00 empezaron a bailar dos gogós, algo que personalmente creo que no encaja bien durante la cena, especialmente cuando hay familias con menores presentes. Si solucionan este detalle, la experiencia sería perfecta.

It's a good beach restaurant with an extensive menu.They have fresh fish which they will offer to guests and at lunchtime will have barbecued sardines freshly cooked. The staff are good and seem happy to be working at the restaurant. At weekends they tend to have live music ,we saw a rock duo with an exceptionally good guitarist.

Un sitio para cenar bien y con música en directo, pero no se acaba de disfrutar, la gente no respeta la música y se oye muy baja, deberían poner más altavoces. La pizza es buena, y la hamburguesa muy rica, pero nos hemos ido sin disfrutar de tanto ruido q había. El servicio muy correcto. Recomiendo mucho los espetos 😋 Por cierto recomiendo reservar, pero aún así son muy correctos y siempre intentan colocarte en alguna mesa.
We came here for a cocktail. We were shown to a table and gave our order. Another waiter appeared and put a reserved sign on our table, for later he said. From then we were made to feel uncomfortable just by sitting there. Staff very unprofessional.
Having been to dozens of Chiringuitos this is ranked in the middle. I did deduct a few points due to the high prices. I paid €30, for one person, for a normal lunch, which was only okay and nothing special. There are luxury restaurants charging less for lunch, and then you get a lot better food. Service really good though and the place is nice.

Hemos venido a comer a este chiringuito de playa y la experiencia con el servicio no ha sido buena. Al pedir cerveza, preguntamos cuál era la más fría y el camarero nos dijo que no se podía comprometer a decir cuál estaba más fría, que la más fría era la caña. Pedimos cañas y cuando las trajo no estaban especialmente frías. En la siguiente ronda pedimos botellines y solicitamos que los abrieran en la mesa para asegurarnos de que estuvieran bien fríos. Nos dijeron que no podían traerlos abiertos y nos invitaron a preguntar a la mesa de al lado si su cerveza estaba lo suficientemente fría. Una situación bastante incómoda y poco profesional. Entendemos que pueda haber momentos de más trabajo, pero la sensación general fue de poca disposición para informar y atender correctamente al cliente. Una pena, porque en un chiringuito de playa el ambiente invita a todo lo contrario.
Bonitas vistas, espetos de sardinas podridas, que pena, hasta los camareros confirmaron de que no habrían comido aquello. Masa de pizza y pan de ajo perfectos. Cada cierto tiempo volvemos para disfrutar de las vistas y siempre pasa algo.
They cheat on bills, and it's not a huge amount, around 10 percent, but it's a matter of principle, and such practices are unacceptable. When I protested, they quickly changed the price list and told me to scan the menu again (a paper version is unavailable). I definitely don't recommend this place; it's geared towards tourists, to whom they present a very unflattering image of Spain.
This restaurant does not inform customers in advance that the bill cannot be split. This information is only given at the moment of payment, which creates an uncomfortable and avoidable situation. During payment, the staff stated that there was a law in Spain prohibiting splitting the bill, which is inaccurate. When policies like this exist, they should be clearly communicated before the customer orders. Transparency is essential for a fair customer experience. Additionally, the attitude of one of the waitresses was unprofessional and unwelcoming. The view, décor, and food are good, but they do not compensate for the lack of clear communication and respectful treatment toward paying customers.
Beware! This place is a scam! They list 2 species of grilled fish on the menu for €24 each. However, when the waiter learned we wanted grilled fish he brought other species es to the table, but did not tell us these cost €48 each. We live in Spain. This is an outrageous price for a whole grilled fish cooked on the beach. I have read other reviews of this place, complaining about this type of up selling. Stay away.
5 € for one small bread with 2 pieces of ham. The food ist heavily overpriced and the staff is a disgrace. Don’t be blinded by the 4.1 stars and do not eat here. Very disappointed considering the price of the food. I would not come again.
