If you are looking for a quick bite that doesn't break the bank, this is your place. I think it actually takes longer to view the menu than it does to get your food. A very extensive menu which will suit anyone. Have always found the food tasty, hot and satisfying. Check it out if you get the chance, you will be glad you did.

Service was excellent, I had the beef fajitas, my mom had the beef taco salad, and we had an appetizer of the cheese dip with the chorizo, I cannot recall what the name of it was. All of that was brought in a timely manner, and was excellent! I had a margarita, and it was the best margarita I've had in my entire life. And I have drank a shameful amount of margaritas in my life. I would highly recommend El Nopal if you want to have an excellent meal, and some really good drinks!

Great food, good variety, good prices and fast service. We went in hungry and came out stuffed. I wouldn't hesitate to eat here again. Good stuff.

Short wait time. Server checked to make sure everything was good. Food correct temperature. Price wasn't too bad, as I took half home, and I was full. So basically two full meals for $11.50 plus chips and salsa with cilantro while waiting.

The margaritas were very good. The refried beans were a bit too liquefied for my liking. And the white cheese sauce on my main dish was water down. No substance at all.

Well i had the mixed burrito without the cheese sauce. It was great! Only thing i was slightly disappointed with was that there were no nopal tacos to order. But that is understandable since the place is way up here. Other than that I had a great experience.

So this is the only Mexican joint in the area. So they seem to have cornered that market. The food was actually pretty good. The service was nice and personable. In comparison to some finer restaurants in kansas city with the same style, it is a little lackluster. But for this area, go for it.

We usually go here for my birthday. Always enjoyed the food, and service was always great. Today, everything was fine until we told them it was my birthday. I can handle wearing the sombrero, and getting a derogatory song sung in Spanish (which they don't know I understand) sung to me, BUT the handful of whipped cream to my face and beard was too much. I won't be going back. Excellent food does not make up for disrespecting a customer!
