It's impossible to say enough good things about this place. I recently went to Helderberg while on an impromptu vacation with my girlfriend and it was a highlight of the trip. Everything at this place is on point. Then decor is fun and evocative, the music adds to the ambiance, the service couldn't have been better, and the mead was absolutely delicious! Eileen was our server when we visited, and rarely have we met someone of this caliber on our travels. She was knowledgeable, courteous, friendly, helpful, and in all ways a delight. She patiently took us through the multitude of offers at the meadery, and even took time to describe a few of their seasonal items that they didnt have at the moment. The mead was FANTASTIC. Easily some of the most delious I've ever had. The honey really comes through, and I recommend trying as many varieties as you can, as each is different and wonderful in its own way. Cider can be had as well, which was also great I can't recommend this place enough, if you are in the area it is a must see!

We got in on a slow weekday afternoon so we were able to get in a rare tasting (they don't normally do them at this location!). Every single mead was perfect and our expert Eileen was top notch. We bought 2 bottles!

Reliably the best mead I've ever had. You can tell how much work and love goes into it. This taproom is super chill and the staff are above and beyond friendly and knowledgeable. This is a secret gem in the heart of Troy and very much worth the visit!
One of the most sensory friendly bars I've ever been to - dj nights are amazing - lovely staff - highly recommend coming here especially for my nurodivergent homies
My husband and I were so excited to find a mead spot in the area. The atmosphere was fantastic and the drinks were delicious. The servers were also amazing and made you feel at home. We will be back soon!

This place bangs like 2 wild monkeys who've been denied hot monkey love for a year. Have all your dumb questions like, "What's Mead"? "Does Mead come from Honey grapes"? and "Is this like Bourbon"? answered by people who are much better at life than you!
