We were a party of 13 I think this past Friday. We ordered mozz sticks, several orders of wings and zucchini fries for appetizers. All absolutely fantastic and fast! Our drinks were continually refilled and the servers were so attentive. I got the shepards pie and it was outstanding. My brother got the haddock and said it was the best he's ever had. He actually gave it the chefs kiss if you will. I know someone had shrimp blt and was telling us all how good it was! I highly highly recommend McAddys!!!!!

Love a place that knows what it is, and this is just such an establishment. Excellent pub food that doesn't break the bank, a nice tall glass of Guinness, and locals enjoying a round with friendly banter. Delightful. And the Fish & Chips were fresh and delicious to boot. This is going on my rotation. It deserves a place on yours too.

Second time in here! :D So impressed! It reminds me of my 19th birthday with some amazing friends and people. The food was so well made, the flavor was SPOT on. Everything was fresh and I will never shut up about the spinach dip and kettle fries! The chicken tenders were literally probably the best I have ever had. Highly recommend coming here if Ireland reminds you of home. Thank you for a wonderful night out alone with friends! Oh snap. I ate it too fast and forgot to take a picture...xD Next time.

Truly my favorite bar I’ve ever been to, and I’ve been to many. Perfect combination of fun and coziness. The best neighborhood bar I could imagine. You can have an intimate dinner or a rowdy night with your friends. The service and staff are unparalleled. I’ve had about 1,000 Guinness here and they’re delicious—reminds me of Ireland.

This is my Cheers. First off: the food. Best hot wings in the area. They blow everyone else's wings out the water. I would go here strictly for the wings alone. This particular bar also has something I haven't seen at another bar in the area: Kilkenny's beer. The last time I had had this amazing beer was out of country back in 06. They have it here though. Definitely worth a try if you enjoy robust beer. Lastly: atmosphere. It's a fun bar. Patrons are usually of a more middle aged variety, but that's why I like it here. There's a game room upstairs for darts, pool, etc. 10/10 my favorite bar in the capital district.

Troy is a beautiful town, has its atmosphere. Visited this pub on my short trip with friends. Service is very polite and not disturbing at all. Food and drinks are just what you’d expect in Irish pub. Loved the place😊

Ended up going for trivia night tonight. The staff and food were both great! Our table shared the spinach & artichoke dip which came with garlic grilled cheese to dip (super win) & zucchini fries which were also 2 thumbs up. I got the BLT meal- bacon was crispy, greens were fresh, and bread was also toasted garlic bread so no complaints there. Ordered a side of sweet potato fries and got regular fried instead but wasn't worth mentioning for me. Great to see local places fill up, especially on a week night. Keep it up guys, I'll be back for sure 😊

The food was great. Medium wings were exactly as they should be. The beer selection matched what I would want for a pub as well. The service was also good. Anytime we wanted something we got it quick enough so the service was great too. Definitely recommend stopping by.

My wife and I have been here on two separate occasions. we really want to love this place but both times we ran into something that to us, is off putting but might be ok with others. We are big Guinness drinkers. We frequent many Irish Pubs, dive bars, restaurants in the capital region but never seen Guinness served in regular 16 ounce generic pint glass. On both occasions we stopped here, (first time we thought was a fluke) we were served warm Guinness in a standard 16 ounce sierra Nevada pint glass. The whole bar is decked out in Irish theme with Guinness marketing everywhere. with a name like Mcaddys you would think the Guinness would be held to a higher standard. Its baffling. I witnessed others at the bar order Guinness and were served the same generic glass. Even an imperial Pint would be sufficient, not a standard pint glass. Maybe reach out to your distributor and ask for proper glassware. I'm sure the Guinness purists would thank you tremendously! Either than that, the mozzarella sticks were good, a tad bit over fried but good.

I'll never eat here again , ordered mozzarella sticks and wings. The sticks were ok , but the wings were burned black. Had 2 of the ten and gave up trying to eat them. Did leave a nice tip because the lady behind the bar was nice and treated us well.
