Such a unique and wonderful experience. The garden and banquet hall have new owners as of November 2023. The former golf course is now a statue garden and you can walk the cart path- accessible and great for strollers etc. The weekend brunch has all of the classics plus unexpected authentic Korean food made with love by the new owners. Extremely kind and attentive service. Will definitely be back!
They have a good variety of food. More like a brunch, you know breakfast foods, some Italian and some Korean. The chopche is excellent. They are only open 8 am to 11 am on Saturdays and Sundays and it's not expensive. The cook and wait staff are very friendly and the food is served buffet style . Just revisited yesterday. Found out they are open until 1pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Also they are now serving dinner from 4pm to 7pm on Saturdays only. It is best to get reservations, I have tried the dinner and it is excellent and you get a good serving.
Drove an hour away to try there Korean Dinner Buffet. My goodness what a treat! The food authentic and delicious! Our host named princess was so kind and sweet made me and my family feel like family! Will definitely be back to try their breakfast! I had the Bibimbap and every bite was delightful. We be coming back can’t stress that enough!
Quite a pleasant experience. The place was pretty crowded although we had a reservation. Not exactly sure you need one as there were plenty of spaces empty. Still quite a few people. We were greeted with someone handing out $5 coupons. We ended up paying about $34 for five of us although one of us was under 7 years old and these get in free. And if you are over 65 you get an additional discount. The food was delicious all around and you get quite an international sampling. My favorite was the crab pancakes. Delicious. The lobster bisque was also good. There were a number of desserts although I did not find any of these quite that compelling. I did get to try ginger crackers and they were pleasant. Not sure how these people can make money at this. It is only open on weekends and the price is very affordable especially with the coupons. Would I go back? Absolutely.
Thanks to Princess we had a fantastic time here. The food and scenery was great. Will be back. They also said every Saturday and Sunday from 7 AM to 1 PM buffet
Brunch was amazing. Love the food, atmosphere and staff!
This place is like a closely guarded secret. The buffet brunch on July 4th was reasonably priced, delicious, and plentiful. The views are amazing
First off: Wonderful people run this excellent brunch. Chris manages the the dining area by checking that all buffet items are stocked, along with plates and utensils, etc. He Is very knowledgeable regarding the property (including the gardens) and more than willing to answer any questions you may have. "Princess" (one of the owners) roams the dining area and assures all guests are happy!!! She is the ultimate "people person". You need to meet her in order to fully understand this observation. Finally, the food: The basic breakfast items are all there: eggs, sausage, bacon, cereal, Croissants, and pancakes. Some of the lunch items of the brunch include is zita with meatballs, Chicken nuggets, onion rings, Italian wedding soup, and Lobster bisque (my favorite). But the stars of the brunch are the very unique items. These include several original salad selections: (the Crab/noodle/cucumber) salad was spectacular! And several Korean dishes were great also! There was also a nice selection of fresh fruit, deserts, along with coffee, a selection of teas, and juices (even cherry!) included in the price. All items were fresh, and well maintained. Overall, this is an excellent brunch and a great value for the price held in a beautiful dining room overlooking breathtaking scenery! I highly recommend giving it a try! Update: Just tried their 4th of July Holiday buffet! Changed review from 4 to 5! Excellent! BBQ short ribs were fantastic!
Excellent experience! Everyone was very kind, welcoming and tentative. The venue displayed art on the walls and the grounds had various statues around the premises. The walk was of moderate difficulty as you walk up and down some slopes with the statues giving a theme of walking around the world. I will definitely be coming back to try the breakfast buffet that has many options to satisfy even the pickiest of people, including children that would prefer a typical American breakfast and international options.
Went for Mothers Day brunch, very good! Had a lot of offerings from breakfast and dinner type foods as well as some Korean delicacies. My daughter and I loved the dumplings. Good price too. Will be back for sure.
The owner is so nice and the food is delicious! Came here at my coworker’s recommendation with a group of people and it really felt like we were at someone’s house being offered a ton of food, with the warm and friendly atmosphere to boot. Would highly recommend!
Went here on a lark and so glad we did. First off there was plenty of seating when we got there, it is a large space. We had made a reservation in advance not knowing. We were greeted by the owner, Princess, and taken to our table. The place is open and well lit with a look out of windows over the garden. A nice view. There is an outside deck if one wishes to site outside too. The host came over and gave a very detailed description of the food on offer and invited us to have at it. Now of course there was the standard stuff, juices, and coffee. We expect it to be typical of these sorts of places, that is to say bad. Instead it was really good quality coffee. Real half&half on the coffee table too. Bacon, Sausage (not the cheap junk meats either), pancakes, fresh fruits (ripe, flavorful, and sweet, again a rarity in these sorts of places). But there are also other foods. The owners are Korean so they also include some of their traditional foods as well. Kimchi is is home made and fantastic, I eat a boat load of it. I like spicy kimchi but this is more to the taste of the average American, flavor with no spice. There was other things like dumplings and scallion pancakes with sauces, shrimp fried rice, seaweed with rice noodles. We all like Korean food so this was simply a plus all around. Deserts of a number of types including passable croissants, both plain and chocolate. The owner is almost generous to a fault, a wonderful and friendly host that makes you feel like family. All the things that one typically doesn't expect from such a place. They make you feel welcome and appreciated from the time you walk in the door to the time you leave. Now the prices, Frankly to cheap, not that I am complaining. For all you can eat for five with a good tip too it was less than I have payed for a meal of this quality and quantity in a very long time. We will still return if the were to raise the prices it was that good. I can't say a bad thing about the experience. This is the weekend breakfast go to place from now on.
Great experience! We went for a walk but got so much more. We walked in to clubhouse and we were greeted with such kindness! Just such a warm and welcoming vibe. Staff were great! The owner is exceptionally kind! Highly recommend. It's not at all what I expected but it's what I needed today. She just set my mood for the whole day! Thank you so much Princess and staff! We look forward to visiting again in the near future!
Went to weekend brunch buffet. Dining area is semi-formal and chill... and spacious... Standard breakfast options are most excellent, diverse and plentiful, plus Korean fare (kimchi is excellent!). The hostess is amazing. Like a bee tending to all her flowers. We bloomed. Don't forget to enjoy a walk about and the sculptures afterwards . . .
I've been at the brunch hall on Saturday and was very surprised to see the Korean dishes served along the traditional American breakfast. I've met with the hosts and owners and they've been nothing but warm and kind. Me and my folks had our fill for a steal.
An outstanding buffet brunch in a somewhat elegant but still friendly setting. A fantastic place to bring a family for a weekend brunch. There is outdoor dining as well with great a great view overlooking a former golf course and walking trails with kitchy statues of the great architectural wonders of the world along a 1.5 mile paved trail. Don't miss the terra cotta warriors. Oddly, the only thing missing is an actual botanical garden. There is an extensive offering of standard, well prepared American brunch fare plus really interesting and tasty Korean food. The food is excellent and the price is ridiculously low. I almost hesitate to post this because it amazes me this place is not packed with lines out the door. I'm tempted to keep it a secret.
Thanks so much, we felt extremely welcomed on such a rainy day. The Korean entrees and sides are delicious! Say hi to Princess when you get the chance. Her smile will make your day!!!
Cute place has weekend buffet for breakfast/lunch... Great selection and they kept everything filled and fresh. Great pricing. Beautiful scenery. Has a deck for outdoor seating when it's nice out.
This is a great place for a buffet brunch and a nice long walk to work off all the delicious food you have eaten. Princess is a very friendly and accommodating hostess. Please support their efforts!
Best Kept Secret Korean Buffet in Troy, NY I recently had the pleasure of dining at Troy’s newest hidden gem for Saturday dinner. The restaurant owner, Princess greets every guest with warmth, making you feel like a cherished friend invited over for a home-cooked meal. Her hospitality alone would make this restaurant worth visiting. You choose a main dish and then there is a small buffet of side dishes and dessert. There is a few selection of Korean dishes, each prepared with so much care and flavor that you can tell it's a labor of love. The ambiance is welcoming and intimate. Princess’ generosity, attentiveness, and passion for her food make this buffet not just a meal but an experience. I do wish this restaurant continues to expand and succeed. I can't wait to see its future. If you're looking to explore authentic Korean flavors and meet an amazing host, make your way to this gem in Troy!
Breakfast/Brunch buffet Sunday 10/20/24: I'll definitely be back. Good food, good price, friendly staff. Princess is awesome and super friendly. Nice place to have breakfast overlooking the old golf course greens.
What an amazing hidden gem. The Saturday morning buffet is plentiful, the hospitality shown by Princess is exceptional, and the walk and view of the grounds are beautiful. I can't wait to go back!
Don't let the name fool you, this is not a botanical garden, it's so much more! This feels like someone's lottery fever dream but it's all very real. All you can eat buffet with a mix of Korean and American options and a whole golf course sized sculpture garden. Went there with a 5yo and 10mo and had a great time in the restaurant and then walking the trails. Staff gave us lots of food (and foot cream) and was very hospitable. Very friendly with a generous way of doing business. Do yourself a favor and go here!
Owner is very kind and attentive, and the food is top notch. They even make their own kimchi. I was particularly a fan of the dumplings (I think they were also handmade). This was actually the best korean food I have had around the capital region. The venue is a nice walk as well. Not quite finished it seems, but it's a nice little walk after a good brunch.
This is such a hidden gem in Brunswick. They offer brunch every weekend from 7:30am-12pm. They have everything from scrambled eggs, thick bacon, sausage, potatoes, onion rings, nuggets, tots, jap chae, shrimp fried rice, rice cakes in gochujang sauce, cereals, bagels, waffles and pancakes, lobster bisque, wedding soup, fresh fruits, pastries, and so much more! I love the bean sprout salad and mandu dumplings. The fresh pineapple is always super sweet and juicy. The view is beautiful too. Seat yourself and enjoy the morning at Troy a botanical brunch.
Finally got to try this place out and was NOT disappointed. The staff are very nice. The food was delicious and there's allot to choose from. Korean dishes along with pastries, breakfast foods, coffee and juices. We will definitely be back.
2022 update: Everything about this year already looks fantastic. Will be back, frequently. Perfect place to play a quiet 9 holes. Staff are personable and considerate.
Extensive breakfast buffet and fun walk around the sculpture garden. They were very nice to our 3 and 5 year old and even gave us presents!
I've been going to the Troy Botanical Garden for their breakfast buffet on weekends. They have awesome food and it's a surprisingly great price. The owner, is incredibly generous and kind. The view from the balcony is wonderful.
This place is a hidden gem. We came here for Sunday brunch and the food was great. The service was even better. And the grounds are amazing!
Korean dinner the best. The view was from our table. We went back for the morning buffet and the dishes you see are just a small selection of the food you can get

Absolutely wonderful experience! The food was outstanding — especially the scallion pancakes, which were a highlight — and the service was exceptional. A special shout-out to Princess (I believe she’s the owner), who, along with the entire staff, was incredibly kind and welcoming. I also really appreciated the wide range of options available for different dietary needs and preferences. We got there near the end of the serving hours, and they still had food available which was awesome. As an added bonus, we even received a free gift (an AHA cleanser), which was such a sweet touch! We didn't walk the grounds due to the rain, but the view from the restaurant was nice. I'll definitely be back, and I'm really happy the we have such great Korean food in Troy (they also serve American standard brunch food).
We first visited Troy Botanical Garden for the KPop Demon Hunters event and completely fell in love—with the food, the atmosphere, and the people. Since then, we’ve been coming back often, excited to try new dishes while still enjoying our favorites. One of our favorite parts is taking a peaceful walk on the garden trails after lunch—such a perfect way to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The interior space feels warm, welcoming, and full of good energy every time we visit. Princess is truly a ray of light—her kindness and positivity always bring a smile to our faces and make each visit even more special. This place has quickly become a favorite, and we’re always happy to return.
We came in after seeing a video on TikTok, because we love Asian brunch places and this one might be a new favorite! The views from the restaurant are incredible. You can see part of the golf course that they are turning into botanical gardens, and it's high enough that it feels like you can see rolling hills for miles, with so many trees! Great way to experience the remnants of fall colors. The food was so good. Best radish kimchi I've had in a long time. I also loved the japchae, it was so flavorful. And the ham fried rice was very hearty. I also really enjoyed the jun, it's been so long since I had it, and it was perfect. Princess is so sweet, and the service was great, with everyone working together to make such a wonderfully welcoming atmosphere. We'll definitely be bringing more people to this little gem!
Truly a comfy place, like eating supper at your church potluck, but with every cook at the top of their game. Has a mixture of foods from the US and Korea. A great place for families, as everyone can find something they like in the buffet. And it may seem like a small thing, but the gravy was good, and that is impressive in a buffet.
We went for brunch. I qwas disappointed to find that it was just a self-service buffet line. The food was okay. HOWEVER. The garden!! It was absolutely stunning, very much worth the trip. I recommend you go now, while it's still autumn.

The place is just so intriguing. Eat a buffet brunch and then explore the beautiful grounds of an old golf course that's been decorated with all sorts of statues and things. You won't be sorry. Food was good and the staff was great!
Used to be a golf course from what I understand no longer. But they do have a walking trail that you can walk around and look at the statues. It looks like they’re trying to match the seven wonders of the world for the most part. It’s a good walk because there are hills and treesand these statues. But if you’re in the mood to eat on the weekends, they have a wonderful buffet from what I understand so check that out too. They’re open weekends and holidays but call Advance.
This was an oddly great experience. The garden is not a flower garden but is has many small statues of global locations and historical tributes. As far as the brunch it is the best deal in town for your money. The onwers are amazing and kind. I have never had a all you care to eat location pack and wrap pastries for you to take home. They were so kind and sweet to our children. Really a fun experience. The grounds need some attention but honestly that is part of the charm of the place. Would recommend

When you say botanical garden you would think flowers and gardens. This was more of trails, statues and a pond. Got there 11:30 am alot of the food was cold and some took a minute to refill. The one that looks like sushi was never replaced before we left. Some had no seasoning or salt. This photo I added was everywhere. Asking to please not stay over 50 minutes. I was looking forward for this to be alot better so I can return for the street food. I also drove 40 minutes each way. Don't think it's worth taking a chance.
I didn't go for the food, I went to enjoy the walk through the "botanical gardens". It was a nice peaceful walk, I was the only person there, so a bit creepy in the back part. It is a work in progress, If you're looking for botanical, you will be disappointed. Alot of wierd statues?? monuments?? not sure... I was greeted by an attentive groundskeeper, and given a body scrub by the owner. I hope to visit again next year, and see the progress

We came to check out the really cool statues and try the food. Ended up only going for a walk around the property and skipping the food after smelling it/ catching a glimpse of it, so I am unable to speak for the food. This was not what I had expected at all. By no means is this a “botanical garden”. It’s an old golf course that has statues placed around that you can walk around and look at. However, it’s a great walk (watch for goose droppings in the summer though).

We had been waiting 2 weeks to visit here, upon arriving at 8am to an empty place and two workers standing around on their phones, we inquired if the place was open today. The girl said yes they only had to finish bringing out the food, then went back to her phone. Looking around...there was zero food out and no attempt to welcome us or seat us. Not worth the time.
My girlfriend and I were going to go there, but it was pouring rain. Botanical garden?!?!?! Where are the flowers??? And how are there going to be vendors in the pouring rain??? Brunch sounds nice but we missed the timing. Oops. We may try going some other time.
Went for mother's day brunch. They appeared to be understaffed. Food was very poor quality - the majority of items were cold, soggy or overseasoned, or just low quality overall. Planned menu over promised as several items were missing and/or not refilled. Several of their smoke/CO2 detectors were chirping. Bathrooms were in bad shape. All really disappointing. We went based on someone's recommendation. They were taking reservations so they should have been aware of how many people to expect.
Food was horrible. We went for Mother’s Day brunch. They definitely served Ego waffles and frozen vegetable spring rolls. The Chicken Masala was raw. There was black stuff floating in the orange juice. Honestly worst of all there was Chocolate and strawberry syrup on the spinach salad. Even if the food was edible they didn’t keep enough out for more than two people to eat at a time. We decided to walk the grounds it being a “Botanical Garden”. It was just a run down unkept golf course. No flowers on the grounds except for dandelions. The trails were almost unwalkable and statues falling apart. The worst Mother’s Day “Brunch” we have ever attended. The people were nice and the place had potential but its just not ran properly.
we went for the 1st part of the korean food tour. 8 people. many of the items were not available or finished. taste was highly disappointing. the kimchi and toboki were the 2 items that tasted good. did not get a chance to try majority of the food as it wasn't available or finished. was looking forward to hanging out with friends and enjoying this food tour day unfortunately it was not what was expected and for $20 each at least expected ti be able to taste the food. we spent $160 for this event and barely got to eat any of the dishes.
