I get a burrito from this location everyday and they are the best burritos I've had from any Sonic location. Drinks from Sonic never disappoint and they bring it out very promptly. Love this location
Very great food, hot and fresh, and came out within 10 minutes of putting my order in.
I've recently started using the app and am pleased with the precision of the orders in both time and correctness. I wish I would've gotten a picture of a couple of shakes we got. They looked absolutely perfect. This morning I ordered an ultimate breakfast burrito and it was loaded! Crispy bacon, and crispy tots, and plenty of cheese sauce. I appreciate when employees really go beyond customer expectations, presentation of the food as well as adding condiments. Thank yall for stepping up during the pandemic and doing a great job!
It took more than 30 minutes to get our food. When we got the food it was barely barely warm. They were very busy, that's a reason to be slow getting to order, but that is not a reason for the order to be cold: that's poor organization. This was during their Sunday noon rush. I figure they were trying to get out the call in orders and the drive-in orders before they even started on power order. The food can take a long time to get out but it should be hot when we get it.
Very hit or miss here. I understand how it is working food industry but come on. More than half the time end up with the wrong order entirely and good luck getting it fixed. Be prepared to wait on average 10-15 mins just for a bag of ice and a couple of drinks when being one of the only vehicles there. Management needs to step it up at this location for real.
Never too excited to eat at the Sonic here in Tulia Texas. Most times the fries are chewy and warm at best. There is usually at least one item missing from my order each time I go. And the last two visits they gave me someone else's order. Being only one of a few restaurants in town we do still occasionally go for ice cream or something like that.
It's a hit or miss place. Usually a miss but I'm pretty sure a bunch of the local kids run the place and they try their best. There are rarely adults when we go by. I usually tolerate the mistakes and the missing food, they do what they can. Some days going through the driveway it looks like there are only 3-4 kids running the show. Be prepared to wait roughly 20-30 minutes for your small order, longer if it's more than two meals or multiple desserts. Make sure you mention incorporating the candy well in the blasts, I forgot to tell my mom to mention that and we got cups of vanilla ice cream with a sprinkle of Reese's on top. Again, they try their best and I'm sure have to put up with some rough locals, but this is what they've got to work with, the owner's don't make much of an effort for improvement. I don't like leaving negative reviews, but this needs to be known.. Food was cold, burger missing ingredients it was supposed to come with as listed on menu. Credit statement showed I was DOUBLE charged... nearly $40 for one hamburger, onion rings, and a WATER. Accidents totally happen, I understand. Called store to see if they could please refund the 2nd charge. Got run around to call corporate. Said refund only in cash, & Ihave to drive up there to get it... They couldn't just refund the second charge.. Someone was supposed to call me, but never did. I don't have time to spend hours trying to correct something I didn't mess up. This is poor management & service. Would have been fine if they just owned their mistake and made it right. But I got pushed away, and nothing ever positively resolved. Waste of time, money, energy. Really sad. I'd drive straight past and go hungry rather than deal with all this again. Would avoid them folks. We all make mistakes, that's human. But please own your stuff and just make it right is all I'd ever ask. :(
I wish there was a negative opinion on this app. So the carhop came to my car and just almost threw my order on my lap.. no are you so and so, or is this your order, sir? Wow cold and unwelcome sandwich. I'm new to town. I've been here 3 weeks now. I'm a truck driver and have been to many places. This place needsto work on thier customer service. I will never be stopping at this place again!!!! Small town, big town its all the same to me, customer service is key. Next time I want a burger I'll drive 25 miles to the next town.
Went today and got some chicken strips and Tater Tots. The food was absolutely horrible. Both tasted like the oil hasn't been changed in a long time. Tots, half cooked and cold. Both was just nasty. Only decent thing was the tea I ordered. Pre frying the food and leaving it to sit in a pan is not sanitary nor is the food even close to being fresh. It takes more then 15 seconds to fry tots.
Just a bad location that probably doesn’t get a lot of traction, but terrible food and would advise others to steer clear!!!!! Crispy chicken sandwich only had one flavor, over cooked freezer burnt chicken. The cheddar poppers also had the same fate from the cheese being crumbly and the pepper skin being leather with mushy flesh. That’s not accounting for the ancient oil taste that was abundant in all of the food. As for the burger and tots, we asked for no onions on the garlic butter bacon burger (grilled onions were advertised on the menu description) and the gal said there wasn’t onions on it to begin with. There was one skimpy burnt piece of bacon and a bed of onions. The burger aside from the bad toppings was fine, but the chicken sandwich (I managed to get a third of it down) had me puking not even 10 minutes afterwards on the side of the highway with worsening stomach pains. Please check the dates on the food and change the oil…
We waited for 45 mins at the drive up it cost 55 bucks for 3 people to get a burger tots and a shake the shakes was milky watery whip cream there was enough employees there it shouldn't had been so slow in service I'll not eat there no more
Employees were there, no customers, activated red button, 10 minutes later still waiting. Will not be coming back to the Sonic in Tulia. This makes twice in one week 😡
I went two times two different days and it’s the same people. The first time they give me no receipt and forgot to put bacon etc on one of the burgers and didn’t put everything on the other and today tried to give me no receipt again except I asked for one and everything was wrong the receipt and didn’t get my meal right. Specifically asked for hot sauce and all they gave me was ketchup. Sonic what are you doing hire people who exactly wanna work or put in some kinda effort.
Trash place. Messed up our order 3 times before I went in to explain how i wanted my burger. Manager hit me with the I'm sorry we a super shorthanded. 45 mins later we left mad that we had to pay for our order to be remade so many times. I got a coney with mustard and onions, apparently they didn't like that and gave me half a tub of mustard on my coney. Jus drive to Plainview or Lubbock. It's not worth it at all
We ordered 2 breakfast burrito meals and didn't get our tator tots then when we asked for them they brought us only 1. Also our burritos were wrapped in the wrong wrappers, I had the ultimate and he had the supersonic but the stickers on them were backwards. It also took more than 10 min to get our food and there were only a couple of cars there when we arrived. He had hot coffee which he said tasted awful and I had the French vanilla cold brew that also tasted awful.
This Sonic has the potential to be awesome but lacks the want to do so ! They either need more help or hire people that want to work and get the job done right. They are taking way to long to be called fast food why have a drive up window if you still have to sit and wait. I don't know smfh
Service was horrible they kept closing the window before I could say anything pretty much slammed it shut in my face. Plus ordering took like 10 min in the drive thru. You could here them talking inside just chilling and laughing. Food took forever. I waited like 15 min at the window for food. They never asked Iif I wanted anything else just talked inside like they chilling and laughing. When they finally gave my food she handed it to me as shut window I could say anything
I had placed an order for a chicken strip dinner it took them almost an hour to get me that dinner. When I got it the chicken strips were burnt they had forgotten my sauces Thai I had ordered. And when I asked the waitress for them she still brought me the wrong ones. It seems like every time I go there in my last 4 visits they have dropped the ball severely. I even wrote a complaint to the corporate office and the only thing they did was said sorry here's a couple of coupons. I do not want coupons I want this problem to be fixed I would like to go back to sonic driveing and have a pleasant experience. I do not want excuses I do not want discounts. I just want to see the problems that they have been having for a long time fixed.
Absolutely awful. Went to happy hour, very busy, waited in line in drive thru for 15 minutes and ended up driving off. Went a while later, less busy, and still waited a long time before I finally ordered and waited a long time for THAT, I asked for the general manager and an employee said Liza wasn’t there and she wouldn’t care anyways, told me they always call for help and she never answers. Tulia sonic has always had a bad reputation and I haven’t been in months for this exact reason. Unbelievable.
