My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant. Alexis was great as our server and the food was very good. The best thing on the menu was the White Bean Dip appetizer. It’s a dip that has rosemary, pancetta, pistachios, and some fantastic bread. It was so good. I would absolutely encourage you to get additional bread because you’re gonna want more bread. It is really really good. For the main courses, I got the herb roasted chicken and my wife got the Roasted Salmon. Both were really good and something that I could see myself ordering again. Lastly, they have good iced tea as well if you want a good glass of iced tea. Overall, everything was good and I would absolutely encourage anyone to give it a try.
Amazing restaurant - A+. We didn’t have a reservation but we were able to sit at the bar. It’s a popular place so recommend reserving ahead of time. Atmosphere is great and along with the service. Food is cooked fresh and delicious. Love the newspaper style menus. I will certainly come back in the future.
Every dish we had was 10/10. Our favorites were the burrata and prosciutto and the tagliolini. The short ribs barbera braised short rib with polenta was amazing too.
All around amazing experience at Malfi in Tulsa. I recommend trying the blackberry Italian soda, Arancini for an appetizer, Caesar Salad, Bucatini with basil cream & pesto and for dessert the Ricotta Cake with lemon. Excellent customer service from the check in to the wait staff.
Malfi Enoteca exceeded all expectations! From start to finish, everything was incredible. The appetizer set the tone beautifully, the food was absolutely delicious, the drinks were perfectly crafted, and the dessert was the perfect sweet ending. On top of that, the service from our bartender, José was outstanding warm, attentive, and professional. Truly a great dining experience. Highly recommend!
Amazing!! Their version of Bruschetta was the best I’ve ever had!! They had a great “pick two” for lunch! The Kale salad was amazing, a close second was the Arugula and mushroom! The vodka sauce was rich and creamy. We also ordered the BUCATINI with basil cream, pesto and whipped burrata. Picture included. That was my favorite.
We ate at the bar and the service was phenomenal. The young lady who waited on us took the time out to explain the menu and the manager even came over to greet us. The food was also pretty good and very flavorful. Would definitely go again.
Dinner with friend … The food was delicious. The serving size was enough to take home a little. I will go again. The noise level made it difficult to chat - we had a group of 5. If it had been two people, I suspect this wouldn’t be an issue. Overall, I highly recommend this eatery. Our server Jose was attentive and friendly.
So I scrolled through some reviews and let me tell you our first experience was top notch! We were greeted promptly and went at a perfect time very little people in the building. The service by Hannah was Top notch, she was super sweet and very attentive. The sweetest lady that apparently was a manager possibly her name was Jennifer stopped by my husband and I table and we told her this was our first time and the food was soooo good. She offered us a free dessert for it being our first time and we went with the ricotta lemon curd and I am still blown away by how good it was! Reviews can be very deceiving as it was perfect tempature in the building and the music was NOT loud! We will be back soon!!!
From the moment you walk into Malfi, you can feel the authenticity! The warm colors, bright lighting and fun, unique touches, you absolutely must try this restaurant! The menu is an old school newspaper style. The menu has many options in for appetizers, pasta and entrees. We shared the White Beans dip with Fresh Herbs, served with toasted sourdough, it was creamy and flavorful. The Salmon with Tabbouli was wonderful, fresh, full of brightness, perfectly cooked salmon with a touch of crust. Lastly we enjoyed the Bolognese, a lighter creamy version, and handmade thin noodles that melt in your mouth. This was an Absolutely Exceptional lunch, one I remember! If I had any feedback for improvement, I'd say the seating was hard and uncomfortable, not seating I want to linger and stay in for long. Great lil spot in Brookside, you should try it!
We visited Malfi last night for the first time and it was perfect. The decor has a lovely, comfortable vibe. The service was top notch. Our sever Lily was on point, attentive, accommodating, and so sweet! The food was amazing. Everything was delicious. We were so pleased with the wine list. It has a great variety and the prices were such a pleasant surprise! Make your reservation today!
Excellent service and customer care by their general manager, Jennifer! Delicious meal, food was amazing, and we will be back when we are in town! Fun way to Mark their bathroom doors and a great idea to have the menu on a newspaper paper.
You all are great. Can't say enough good things about the restaurant. HOWEVER, something needs to be done about the Center 1 parking troll terrorizing customers in the parking lot. He verbally attacked and threatened my mom on her birthday tonight. Even though she was literally eating at a restaurant in the shopping center.
We decided to give this new restaurant in Brookside a try since we had read several good reviews. We made a reservation and were seated promptly upon arriving. Service was excellent and the restaurant was very busy!! Nice selection of wines and loved the newspaper format for the menu. We ordered the antipasto (Burrata & prosciutto) - delicious! They get their bread from Country Bird Bakery - you will never taste sour dough bread as good as this!! The Ceasar salad was fresh and had a nice flavor and crunch to it. The homemade pasta dishes offered incredible creaminess and flavor! And of course we had to order dessert - an affogato (a delicious Italian coffee topped with a scoop of ice cream) and their Panna cotta with raspberries - light and creamy! Overall an amazing meal and experience! We will be back! P.S. - their restrooms have a unique way of displaying which was mens vs women’s. 🤣
First time but won’t be the last. The service at the bar was excellent. Our server, Alexis was attentive and didn’t miss a beat. The food was incredible. We shared several items. Arancini, bean dip, chopped salad, burrata, meatballs. All were great. We had the bucatini with burrata, roasted chicken & bolognese then finished with the pancetta and ricotta cake. I can’t wait to come back. The cocktails were also great and consistent through the meal. All the temperatures were appropriate. Thank you for a great experience !
Food was great compliments to the chef, service was excellent. Staff and servers were kind, informative, and helpful when suggesting and help navigate the menu. Would recommend for people looking for a nice sit down restaurant to talk business, catch up on live, or a nice quiet lunch.
The food, the ambiance….SUPERB!! This place is a must try. I highly recommend the white bean dip and the Bucatini but everything was delectable. The staff were kind and knowledgeable as well.
It was one of the best Italian food we had. Highly recommended!!!!!!! 😋
Started with the white bean dip and I would have licked the plate if not in public plus country bird bread 🍞 so good! Also had a glass of the Brut burgundy - so crisp and delicious. Entrees- TAGLIATELLE BOLOGNESE - yum!!! That pasta melted in your mouth. And then we also had the BUCATINI with chicken- also yum! Had a glass of the Barbera and loved it. Table for two was nice but a little close to our neighbors once it was full. I loved the large stripes on the walls and the bar seating. We will be back! Pictured is the bolognese.
We love this place! 10/10 food, service and people!
Ciao! Fully authentic Amalfi coast atmosphere in Tulsa! Stop for drinks with Jose at the bar then spend the afternoon or evening Italian style. Do not rush the experience. So reminiscent of travels to Italy!
The country bird bread, bucatini, Italian soda, and Lemon ricotta cake were delicious. The panna cotta was a little too runny.
Everything was absolutely delicious. Staff was friendly and attentive. Will be back for more!
Great food! Great service! Very pleased..
Just… Wow!! This place exceeded our expectations in every aspect possible. Service was amazing, her recommendations were on point, food came hot and quick and saying it was delicious is an understatement… this is the Best Italian food in this city for sure. I had a couple of cocktails and my husband an Italian soda and we were delighted by everything. The carpaccio is the best. Pasta al dente as it should be. Will definitely be back soon.
Upon entering, this place is darling. Great vibes. They offered a specialty alcoholic drink and a mocktail, which was fun and I opted for wine. The service was great. The white bean appetizer was off the charts amazing. It was hard to believe it was bested by the kale salad- which is probably the best I’ve had. For entrees we had the herb chicken with white beans and bolognese. The chicken was good, but won’t keep me coming back like the appetizer and kale salad will. We finished with the panna cotta with peaches, pistachios and mint 10/10. I can’t wait to return!
Food was fantastic, and Alexis was exceptionally knowledgeable and attentive throughout our experience. The bread and white bean dip were a standout—fresh, comforting, and packed with flavor. The kale salad was beautifully balanced, crisp, and flavorful without being heavy, and the pastas were outstanding!
Food and drinks were excellent! The main room can get noisy but it wasn't too bad. Our server could've been more attentive, but the restaurant was pretty full while we were there. Overall a great experience and I'll go back!
Amazing restaurant, great food, inspirational cocktails, the coolest and friendliest stuff and excellent atmosphere. The great taste in music and the luck of screens and sports make it feel like you are in Europe. Classy
We had a great anniversary dinner. Tori took great care of us. They worked with me when I realized I ordered something I was allergic to. The staff was very nice and pleasant. The food was delicious. It was a wonderful evening.
Kamila was an incredible server and took great care of us while we dined on some of the best Italian food I’ve had in Tulsa! I HIGHLY recommend the bolognese and bucatini along with the arugula and Caesar salads.
Our server Rafaella was knowledgeable and friendly - food was delicious - the malfi toast is now going to be our new favorite appetizer, and we plan to try and replicate this amazing recipe! If you like caprese salad, get the toast! You'll thank me later!
The concept is more of a European cafe, hopping, a bit loud, but fun. Food was excellent. Started with the white bean dip. The pesto pasta and the short rib. Excellent. The special bread pudding was amazing. Staff was friendly and efficient
All the pastas are really good. I’ve tried them all, and they’re all delicious! The staff is super friendly. I highly recommend this place.
Really enjoyed it! Atmosphere was more energetic than I would have liked for an Italian Restaurant but the food and service was great!
Really enjoyed our dinner at malfi. The cocktails were light and refreshing. The white bean dip is one of the best dishes I've had this year. My wife and I ordered the short rib and bucatini and shared them. Both were great. Great spot for date night or a group. Mcnellies group delivers again.
Food was excellent! The white bean dip and short rib in particular were winners. Alexis was an attentive server. We’ll be back!
Everything was perfect, reasonable price and food quality and quantity of pasta were do great. Lunch menu set was great price. I would like to come here again.
The BEST place to eat on Brookside. Jordan is our fave server.
The best Italian on Brookside! The food, service and atmosphere is perfect for Brookside. My wife and I went for a late birthday and felt so taken care of. We split the arancini (brought out by the chef) which was perfectly crispy and cheesy. My wife got the bucatini pesto (best in town) and I ordered the spaghetti with added meatballs. Perfectly robust and hearty with the addition of the beef and pork meatballs. Additionally they have maybe the best Caesar salad I’ve had, and I’ve had a lot We can’t wait to return to try the other dishes
Place was gas. Best Caeser salad I’ve ever had in my entire life. Might go back and just get the salad. Meatball appetizer was also fire. We had two drinks, two appetizers and two entrees. Our total was $110 after tax before tip. Honestly gonna pay that price just about everywhere for the amount of food. Portion sizes were very large. Absolutely worth it. Make a reservation if you want to go. Usually has open bar seating if you walk in.
Atmosphere & Service Malfi blends California’s coastal ease with Italy’s rustic charm, reimagining 1960s Italian Modernism through a modern industrial lens. Soft lighting, concrete floors, and warm wood accents create a nostalgic yet inviting atmosphere. Service at Malfi is excellent. Water glasses stay full, and attention to detail is clear. Some servers demonstrate deep menu knowledge, while others capably highlight standout dishes. There are no missteps or red flags—just dependable, well-executed hospitality. Dining White Bean Dip The dip is a masterful blend of texture and flavor. Served with slightly sour, perfectly aerated Country Bird Bakery bread, it opens with the creamy richness of white beans, transitions to herbal hints of sage and salt, and finishes with the nuttiness of pistachio and the savory depth of pork jowl. Exquisitely balanced between salty and savory, the dish is elevated by the bread, which complements without overshadowing the dip’s complexity. Arancini Malfi’s arancini skip traditional arborio or carnaroli rice, leading to a texture that lacks the signature bite of risotto. While the crispy shell and creamy center show promise, the rice is overcooked. Truffle and fontina come through well, finishing clean with tomato sugo. Pork and Beef Meatballs The meatballs are plump, juicy, and expertly executed. Bold beef leads each bite, giving way to the richness of pork and a finish of aromatic herbs. A bright, tangy tomato sauce adds balance, while the creamy polenta is flawlessly prepared—an ideal, comforting pairing. Burrata and prosciutto The house-pulled burrata is elegant and creamy, its lush texture perfectly balanced by the salty richness of prosciutto. Layered atop tangy sourdough, the trio delivers a harmonious blend of creamy, salty, and sour—simple, sensual, and beautifully executed. Malfi Tomato Toast A minimalist spread of tomato graces a crisp, brittle slice of Country Bird Bakery sourdough. The tomato itself leans neutral, bordering on under seasoned—just a touch of salt could have elevated its flavor. The texture of the toast is brittle. Carpaccio Di Manzo Bright and briny with a creamy tonnato base. Acidity is well-calibrated, and the dish ends on a lingering note of tuna, citrus, and capers. A smart, slightly playful twist on tradition. Bucatini basil cream pesto, pistachio, and whipped burrata. Perfectly cooked pasta, subtle basil and lemon, and silky pesto. However, the promised pistachio is absent, and the flavor leans restrained. A good modern dish, though it plays it safe. Rigatoni Alla Vodka The vodka sauce is creamy, rich, and slightly tangy. Malfi’s blending of tomatoes, cream, vodka, and aromatics into a smooth, flavorful accompaniment for pasta was nigh perfect. At the finish of each bite, a subtle yet satisfying heat from red pepper lingers at the back of the throat. Tagliatelle Bolognese. The final pasta course elevates the meal to a true pièce de résistance. Each bite is a symphony of robust flavors, with tender beef, sweet carrot, and rich tomato melding seamlessly to create a dish that feels both comforting and extraordinary. The depth of flavor is remarkable, leaving you longing for another bite. This dish stands as a masterpiece—undoubtedly the best pasta I’ve experienced in Oklahoma, rivaling even the finest offerings from renowned restaurants in New York and Chicago. Ricotta cake with diplomat cream and lemon curd The cake is moist, and the diplomat cream provides a luxurious, velvety contrast in texture. The lemon curd, with its tart and vibrant flavor, brightens each bite, adding a refreshing balance to the richness. Panna Cotta with fruit conserva Silky, soft, and indulgent. Vanilla notes shine through, and the fruit conserva adds tart contrast. A well-executed dessert, though consistency varies—at times collapsing under its softness.
Malfoe Enoteca is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, we were charmed by the cozy and inviting atmosphere. We started with the burrata and sourdough, which was perfectly creamy and flavorful. For our mains, we had the spaghetti, salmon, and bolognese—each dish was beautifully prepared, fresh, and absolutely delicious. The limoncello spritz was the perfect refreshing touch to round out our meal. Our server, Lola, was fantastic—attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, making our experience even more enjoyable. The only downside was the noise level, which made conversation a bit challenging. Otherwise, this would have been a five-star experience.
Food was good, but didn’t blow we away. My dish was a little bland. Menu is limited. Prices are good. Atmosphere is great, loved the decor.
Average - *** First of all, its an expensive place to have italian food. I would recommend to take reservation even though they welcome walk-ins. Ordered the TAGLIATELLE BOLOGNESE which is basically pasta with ground beef and pork. Usually italian restaurants give bread and salad for free as appetizer but here you need to pay for it. Overall, it was an average experience. The flavor was just ok. Not at all worth to pay $19 for a regular pasta with meat.
The food as presented was tasty and attractive. I was disappointed in the suggestion that the food is from the Amalfi Coast, which would include an abundance of seafood, and that was not the case. The one seafood entree was salmon, which is not a native fish to that area. My partner developed food poisoning either from the meatballs or the arancini. Pretty disappointing for a well-reviewed restaurant. The pasta choices were all variations on spaghetti: tagliolini, tagliatelle, spaghetti, bucatini, and some variety would have been appreciated.
The service was attentive, fast, and friendly, and the atmosphere had a nice, modern Italian beach vibe. That said, the food did not justify the price. For three people we spent $155, which felt excessive for the quality. I was especially disappointed that adding chicken to a pasta dish cost an extra $10. While the pesto pasta was flavorful and creamy, it wasn’t exceptional enough to warrant the upcharge. We also ordered the herb-roasted chicken with white beans, and it was dry and clearly reheated rather than made to order. At this price point, I expect every dish to be freshly prepared. Overall, despite the good service and ambiance, I would not recommend this restaurant and would not return.
Took my wife there last Saturday night for the 1st time as a surprise for her birthday. Made a reservation and was seated near a large table of women which our server was also responsible for even though there were other tables available. Between the large table next to us, and a swamped bar with just one bartender, it took 20 minutes for us to get a drink even though I had to remind our server several times. Our glasses were empty long before I ordered again. We were getting really hungry and asked for bread which never came. When we were able to order our dinners, I asked for bread again, which didn't arrive until our dinner did. Meanwhile the table of women behind us were enjoying all Malfi had to offer. It was getting late, so we ended up boxing up our dinners and I didn't get the chance to try the Ricotta Cake which I had my eye on for dessert. If it wasn't for the service, I think we would have enjoyed my wife's birthday.
As an Italian American I'm always looking for a good Italian restaurant in Tulsa. My experience with Malfi was not that, noise level was certainly not conducive to a relaxed dining experience. The food:chicken with a side of polenta, chicken was dry, polenta was lumpy. What I will say on a positive note is our server and the manager were outstanding. I believe they are mother and daughter.
The Menu isn't very transparent about prices, so you get a nice big fat bill after. For just 3 meals, 1 appetizer, and 2 teas it cost us $120..... I asked for pasta similar to fettuccine Alfredo, they gave me a pasta dish with parmesan, water, and butter... I added chicken. Everything was fresh, but water is not the same as cream. My parents split one. The Rigatoni my husband got was delicious. The appetizer was fresh as well. The tea was very watered down and hardly sweet. The waitress was nice, but needs to understand how to cater to older people.
