The service was fast, perfect for a quick lunch. All dishes are very affordable, making it an excellent option for a proper local experience without falling into tourist traps. We ordered a total of 5 tacos and mixed flautas, and every bite was delicious. The lime juice was absolutely refreshing, while the green juice we had was slightly watery. Basic spanish skills are definitely beneficial when ordering at this place. Overall, it's absolutely worth a visit for an authentic local experience with delicious food.

This local gem is so worth the experience. Food is cheap and very delicious. Big portions and well worth your money. We ordered empanadas and the fried chicken. Chicken was lean and crispy!! We left so full and happy that we tried some local food! We also got the horchata and they put a little bit of cinnamon in it so it was very tasty! Drinks were also very cheap, a huge selection of fruit juices and soda!

This place was recommended by one of the hotel staff. We asked her where the locals eat, and she stated the price is here we’re extremely low about 2 to 3 dollars per dish. We ordered flautas and enchiladas with a liter of Tamarindo juice, and it came out to seven dollars .

Great food! The tacos are delicious. Their spicy sauce and the shopped chillis are a very nice touch. The service is very friendly. Not fancy or trendy but trust me it would be one of your best meals in Tulum. The place is highly frequented by locals. Everything is so good!

No fancy stuff, not designed to lure in tourists. A very authentic, high-quality experience with many homemade dishes and ingredients. Many locals frequent the place, the menu is in Spanish. We liked the food a lot and the fruit waters, which they make fresh from fruits, are incredible. Since they make everything fresh, you should not be in a hurry when you visit.

Amazing budget high quality organic native slow-food, ~10 mins to serve after order, prices are very fair, nothing here is industrialized, drink fruit juices are natural! If you want low-oily high vegetable I would recommend Tostadas (3) for $45mxn, people is very kind as lot of locals eats here, don't expect fast serve as this is not mcdonald's. Amazing food in a place where locals eat- low prices and a wide variety. We had flautas with cheese (picture here), memelas, whole fried fish (picture), fish milanesa and guacamole. It was way too much as the portions are large, but delicious. For anybody who is a bit more snobbish please note the toilet is not up to par.

El lugar es bueno, todos sus platillos tienen precios muy accesibles, está muy rico. Puede ser un poco desesperante la espera del desayuno si ya tienes hambre, pero vale la pena. Son platillos bien servidos, las aguas igual están ricas, vale la pena.

Variedad de comida, buenas porciones y sabores. Sin embargo tardar un poco en servir al ser preparadas al momento. Precios accesibles pero solo es en efectivo.

Comida bastante sabrosa, justa de precio y variada, al lugar suelen ingresar cantantes muy buenos que lo amenizan, el servicio es muy normal. No venden cerveza.

La comida esta muy rica y, sobre todo, a muy buen precio. Pedimos unas enchiladas verdes y unas enmoladas y ambas están a $90. El niño que nos atendió era amable y el servicio fue rápido. A pesar de que no es la mejor comida mexicana, a mi parecer, esta muy rico y con una justa relación precio calidad.

El lugar tiene buen ambiente, precios muy accesibles y porciones generosas. La atención puede mejorar un poco, pero en general vale la pena. El agua fresca y las empanadas están especialmente ricas. Ideal para comer bien y barato, sin duda volvería.

Cheap, fast and decent. The shrimp tacos were pretty good, but I was missing some lime or guacamole to go with it. However it was really cheap, and the tortillas were great! Definitely an affordable and tasty meal!

Un lugar rico y barato para comer con solo $50 puedes tener un desayuno completo y rico, no es muy elegante de hecho es muy informal pero eso es parte de su encanto, a veces tardan un poco en atenderte y salir los alimentos es por eso que les puse solo 3 estrellas

El servicio es rápido, se siente el calor intenso por el techo que es de lámina, los precios están súper bien, con 100 pesos puedes hacer un almuerzo bien. Le pongo 3 estrellas por qué mi carne de res parecía suela de zapato

Si tienes antojo de algo garnachoso, es una buena opción. Aunque no esperes lo mejor. Buen sabor, pero muy básico.

This place has friendly service, they are helpful as much as they can be. Toilet hygiene is very poor, embarrassing to say the least. The food is ok, not the best, a bit slacking on cleanliness of sauce pots, lack of ways to catch flies. They need a wireless card machine, no one uses stripe anymore!

It’s a very cheap place to eat just off the main road (2 tacos, 2 tostadas, 1 quesadilla, fried banana and two sodas were $130Mx). However compared to other places we did not think the food was alltogether that tasty. The toilet is almost in the kitchen and quite disgusting, some prepared rice just sits in a pan outside the toilet, not the most hygenic either...

Si eres un mexicano buscando comer rico evítate ir a este lugar! La comida no tiene sazón, todo sabe insípido. Hasta la bebidas naturales saben más a agua que a la fruta. Para concluir, toda mi familia terminó con diarrea! A la hora de haber comido todos ya estábamos en el baño. Después de dos días seguimos descompuesto del estómago. No tienen seguramente nada de higiene al cocinar .

Lamentablemente tuve una muy mala experiencia, en mi vida había probado un mole con tan mal sabor, literalmente sabía a vomito, no pude más que probarlo una vez y con eso tuve. Lo peor es que aún así me lo cobraron, pero bueno, también pedimos unos chilaquiles que no tenían mal sabor porque a penas y sabían a algo, no tienen sazón en este lugar, cero recomendado. (El servicio no está mal, en algún momento se acercó una señora a ofrecerme algo más de comer pero no me quise arriesgar)

No, la comida no está buena, es un lugar de tradición y me parece que de aquí nace su 4.8 estrellas, si buscas un lugar para comer, tomate tiempo y busca otras opciones. Mala comida, un lugar sucio.

Really disappointed in the quality of food after reading reviews— ordered beef fajitas. THE TOUGHEST MEAT IVE EVER RECEIVED AT A RESTAURANT— every bite required chewing the beef for several minutes. No fajita flavor whatsoever— more of a choking hazard. I love refried black beans— these were watered down so much I could have drank them w a straw. Rice was dried out. We were there at 6pm. The restaurant gets afternoon sun and it was pretty sunny and hot at 6 pm— a fan in the corner did not affect our cooling. This place is completely overrated!!! Service was ok.
