This is THE place in Tulum for an authentic experience. The staff is the kindest, the aguachile is the best in town, the tacos are to die for. They are the best I’ve eaten in Tulum. They have non-alcoholic versions of their drinks. I was in Tulum for four days, I went four times. I already miss that place, will come back for sure! Erika is the sweetest soul and will make your experience magical. Recommend 10/10

If you're in Tulum and craving authentic Mexican food, this is the place you cannot miss. In just two days in Tulum, we've found ourselves at La Malinche not once, but twice. it's that good. From the moment we walked in, we were completely blown away by the warm, welcoming atmosphere, complementary tasters of dried crickets (so good!), mezcal, and mini sopes. Portions were generous, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality and experience. A true gem in a place where things can get pricey fast. One of the best restaurants in Tulum. The service is really great and fast, food is delicious with a variety in their menu. The servers were exceptionally polite and made us feel very welcome, they even gave us some mosquito repellent. Loved the Mexican atmosphere!

Checked this place out because of the Yelp reviews and I gotta say the yelp fam didn't miss with La Malinche. Strong selection of seafood and meat tacos and their shrimp aguachile was citrusy just how I like it. The service was friendly and spot on with the recommendations. The place itself reminds me of a fiesta with the banderitas and all the fun colors. The cocktails were refreshing and perfect for the hot Tulum son. Definitely recommend.

Great for families, couples friends. We made it to several taquerias but this was by far our favorite. The staff was good, helpful.

So good we went twice. Excellent Mexican food with wide range of tacos and burritos. Friendly and attentive service. Before meal given a few grasshoppers washed down with Mezcal. Highly recommended.

Amazing tacos and great cocktails, lovely service. Can’t recommend highly enough. Very affordable for the location as near the beach clubs. Just go!

The tacos were really tasty! The burritos were just okay – not quite what we expected for a Mexican restaurant. It was fairly empty at the time, so everything was served pretty quickly.

Loved this restaurant! The food, service and price point are all great. We tried a bunch of different tacos. All were excellent but the Chorizo with cheese was my favourite. Service was fast and they also had a local band performing during dinner. My only complaint is the Elote. The corn was under cooked and the seasoning was watery almost like a soup. That was really bad and I couldn’t eat more than a bite. Avoid that and just get the tacos because the tacos were great! Guacamole was also delicious.
