Very nice place and warm welcome all around. From entry seating to taking our order and checking in us they were great! Plus the food was amazing! The filet mignon was the best I've ever had hands down and I've had a lot of steaks. As far as beef goes, it's definitely the best filet mignon I've had.
Table 26 is our favorite local spot. Excellent food, cocktails and service. Have had a wonderful experience everytime we go. We have eaten the pork chops, rolled chicken, Korean chicken bowl, Mac and cheese, farm salad, all cocktails are great and Billy is our favorite server.
I drove 20 minutes to get dessert here. Arrived at 8:29. The general manager said the kitchen closes at 8:30 so they couldn't make me a dessert to go. I've never heard of them needing a chef to go make a simple dessert especially when the establishment closes at 9. Ridiculous Edit: The OWNER, not the manager, corrected the problem and my wife and I came back and enjoyed a wonderful dinner and finally got to try their dessert. Everything was amazing. Ryan, our server, is one of the best in the business. He was energetic and polite from beginning to end. We will definitely be back
We had a private event in the Table 26 banquet room and it was perfect They were very accommodating in allowing us to set-up for our event early and worked with us in all aspects Every staff member did everything to make us feel that we were their only customer and to allow us to enjoy the evening
The steak bites are amazing. You MUST get them when visiting Table 26! 😊💯
Table 26 is great place management is awesome josh great bartender. Shawn is great owner takes care of your order and makes it perfect burger is great steak is my favorite
Great Restaurant, great service! Awesome cocktails! Hidden Gem...
I had a really great experience here. The service was amazing. They were super attentive and quick. They even comped our ahi nachos because of the wait from the kitchen (although it didn't feel long at all). I would definitely return again. My favorite were the stuffed mushrooms. I wanted to have another plate so badly. I forgot to take pictures, but everything looked nicely presented.
Been quite some time since we've had great food AND great service or vice versa. The wife and I couldn't believe how good the food was and it was pretty quiet, not sure if it was because it was still early but we had a great time. We need to go back and try other dishes. Highly recommended
1st, Joseph the bartender was excellent! I ordered a Mai Tai and it was perfectly made. He even gave us ( I was with my 2 sons) a lesson on Rye with a bit of water layered on top 2nd, food. We ended as a party of 7. Everyone had something different with absolutely no complaints. I had chicken marsala. The chicken was very tender, and the sauce was delicious.
First time dining there and it was a wonderful experience. My server, Sam, is the consummate waiter. Super friendly, knowledgeable about the food, and was spot on with his recommendations. The food was excellent and all served within perfect time. I whole heartedly recommend Table 26 when you want a fine dining experience with top notch service, great food and friendly staff!
I love this place! The food and service are excellent. Our party had two small children, and they provided crayons and pictures to color to keep them occupied. I highly recommend this place.
I rarely give out 5 stars. This place was that good. Our server Samuel (that's the name on the receipt, hope I got it right), was fantastic. . His attitude, demeanor and attentiveness were all spot on. Overall a great guy. Everyone who interacted with us was great I had the Korean chicken bowl, delicious! Wife had a 20$ burger. Now before you complain about paying 20$ for a burger (and fries), let me tell you it's worth it. Cooked perfectly with a charred exterior and still juicy on the inside. Definitely will be coming back. I WILL be back for the tomahawk Sam!
Started with the calamari and grilled artichoke, both were delicious. Two sauces for the calamari both yummy. All main dishes were fresh and delicious. Portions are large enough to split. Good variety of menu items. Drinks took awhile, but were very good. The ladies had the raspberry mojito and all loved it. Service was very good through the entire visit. Definitely stop in for a nice evening.
The service was excellent, they made sure we waited for nothing, but not pushy either. All of the food was fantastic. We stayed quite a while and never felt like we were being pushed to leave. Even stayed a few minutes after closing and they never said a word. A little expensive, but I feel, with the food and the service, it was well worth it.
Great place! Came in without a reservation on Saturday night and the hostess found us a spot. Service was exceptional throughout the dining experience and the food was great.
We love this place! Though prices are a little on the higher side, this is a great place for special occasions and celebrations. Their preparations are really good, fresh and varied. I love the pasta preparations especially the Chicken Pesto pasta, whereas hubby loves the Jack Daniels Steak. They also have a bar, though I haven't tried anything exotic other than an apple martini. Also the Creme Brûlée is to die for, and my kid devours it every single time! Highly recommended.
Attentive and courteous service on top of amazing food! The old fashioned is EXACTLY how I would dream of it being made, with Luxardo cherry. The rib eye was melty and my husband had the gnocchi with shrimp. We both agreed we would drive out of town to Turlock to eat and have some drinks here again!
This is probably one of the best meals I have ever eaten at a restaurant. I had the Surf and Turf Special. I can't even explain how wonderful it was. Seafood risotto was soooo amazing. Everything was but the risotto was just amazing. The prawns and steak were fabulous. Husband had Jack Daniel's steak.i always feels like he doesn't get the good stuff because he only eats a few things! Our server was Billie. She was so nice and made our meal even better. Got the creme Brule and she made sure it was nice and thick for us too. The place is set up really nice now and bathrooms were clean too. Had a great time, even to drive 45 minutes, was totally worth it.
Absolutely love this place. The steaks are amazing. The ribeye is one of the best in town and the owner always says hello- it’s a great place to have a meal on a Friday night
Table 26 continues to be my favorite restaurant! Their Valentine’s Day menu was amazing! (After tonight I made my partner agree to take me there at least once a month) What made the evening extra special was the service. I had called ahead to ask if they still had an old cocktail they used to make in the past, the Bahama Mojito. The Manager, Connor, assured me that they could still make the cocktail even though it wasn’t on the menu. When we arrived for our reservation our server let me know they were already prepping my drink before I had a chance to order it! The whole staff went above and beyond and made us feel special as if we were the only guests in the restaurant, which is almost impossible on a Valentine’s Day weekend. Thank you for setting the bar so high for other restaurants. I can’t wait to come back.
Got to try the black and blue steak while enjoying their top shelf bourbon.
Came all the way from Weaverville to visit the family and decided to have dinner after hearing great things about this place. I went out with my girlfriend. It was busy, but the hostess found us a table, despite the crowd, and Sam and the staff took great care of us. The food took a little long to arrive, but service was attentive, and the pricing was reasonable. I had the Salmon and it was well made! Overall, a great experience worth the trip!
Food was very, very good! The staff was very kind. We will definitely be coming back.
We just celebrated my parents 50th Anniversary at Table 26. We reserved the banquet room and were highly impressed with the food and service! The catering manager, Karen, was very kind and accommodating as we planned for 35 people. Our server, Ryan, was excellent! He was always there when you needed him and was a step ahead with every move. He was such a great guy. We will definitely host another event here soon. Thank you so much!
The service is always the best and the food is so good! We had our wedding reception in the banquet room with about 25 ppl. The server was really attentive and food came out quickly. No complaints at all, everything went so smooth. When we are in Turlock this is where we like to eat.
The Table 26 bar and grill was a wonderful treat. The hostess was good our waiter Daniel was personable and very professional. The dishes were very wonderful full of flavor large amounts. The atmosphere was very relaxed. We were invited by my aunt Sally. Im visiting from Montana sister from Georgia and mom southern Ca. It was wonderful I would highly recommend .
Any brunch that has $10 unlimited mimosas and $15 unlimited Bloody Mary is the brunch for me. Not to mention the food is fantastic! Brunch, Lunch, or Dinner Table 26 is your place. Love coming here for some late night apps and drinks. They have a gorgeous bar and the service is always exceptional! Highly recommend for date night or any special occasions. They are even great when you have a big group!
From beginning to end, the food and service is legit. The bread you get when you are first seated is baked fresh and the butter is super creamy. Wait staff is very courteous and friendly. Frequently checking in on you and your order. We ordered the burger, cioppino, and calamari. I have to say, best calamari and burger that I have ever tasted. The calamari is sliced thin and not super breaded. Served with a wasabi sauce, soy sauce, and a spicy mayo. The burger, literally just melts in your mouth. The meat is tender, the bacon is cooked to a perfect crisp, and delicately topped with cheese, onion, lettuce, tomato, and thousand island sauce. The cioppino is served in a beautiful bowl with the noodles on the side. Gear mixture of seafood and seasoned just right. For drinks we enjoyed the passion fruit margarita and the New York sour. Both very refreshing and tasting. Definitely a must when stopping in Turlock.
Table 26 is so bomb. The staff makes you comfortable and they tend to your needs as if you was their only customer. We celebrated a birthday party, it started out with 4 of us then 2 more family members wanted to come, they made an excellent job of seating us according. So then 3 more of our family so we laughed and they moved us to a nice section of the restaurant and didn't hesitate to accommodate us. This place is BOMB.
First time here with my nephew and family. Had an early reservation and were seated right away. The staff is very friendly. The drinks were tasty, although my nephew thought they were a little weak. He was brought an additional shot and that made the difference for him. The arancini appetizer was nice served with a red s1auce. Nice blend of cheese and risotto. We ordered the specials so I can't speak to the pastas (which looked good). The steak was a good portion and cooked as ordered. The Mahi Mahi was flaky and served with a lemon sauce with a few tiny shrimp in the sauce. The beef shark roast was huge and very tender. All dishes were served with mashed potatoes and green beans not over or under cooked. The bread was also fresh and with a good texture. We were all too full for dessert but they also looked good. Definitely worth going back. Another plus is the music was not too loud nor was the restaurant too loud overall.
Great atmosphere and service! The filet mignon with mashed potatoes and green beans was really good. Cooked exactly how we ordered and had a tasty mushroom sauce to compliment it. The chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream is a must! All the staff were friendly and attentive. Visited on a weekday before closing and were seated right away. Lots of indoor dining and a nice bar area. Would definitely recommend!
Our recent dining experience at Table 26 was truly exceptional. The waiter's attentive service and excellent recommendations added a delightful touch to the evening. The ribeye steak, cooked to a perfect medium rare, was an absolute highlight. This restaurant is a must-visit for those seeking a top-notch culinary experience in Turlock.
First time visiting this restaurant, and I was very impressed. We were greeted by friendly hostess, who seated us right away. We no sooner had been seated when the wait staff is taking our drink order. Shortly after they asked if we wanted hors d’oeuvres, of course we did.The mushroom caps were the bomb. We had our main course in a reasonable amount of time. The cioppino was chock-full of the variety of seafood that you would expect. The bourbon, barbecue ribeye steak was cooked perfectly and it had flavor. Every bit was tender and the sweet bourbon bbq that melted in the mouth. The atmosphere was comfortable and casual. I would say this became one of my favorite places to go.
Table 26 is an upper scale restaurant with service to match. Their food is served hot and flavorful, with some key favorites that I like to order - hamburger, steak, and Korean chicken bowl. Their kale and linguica soup is so good as well. They are under new ownership and the owner tries to go above and beyond to ensure you have a positive experience, and always seeking feedback. Highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a nice date night, or beautiful restaurant to take friends or family. Their drinks are the best in town in my opinion!
What an amazing night it was ! Realty Executives Northern California Girls Night Out ! 20 of our top agents enjoying delicious food and drinks. Thank you, Tami Davidson Realtor
Definitely the most upscale dining experience I’ve had in Turlock with fantastic service. Delicious appetisers and amazing steaks cooked to perfection. Loved the 80’s music too. Can’t recommend this place enough!
Great food choices, good presentation, and good vibes. Highly recommend the Ahi Tuna 👌🏽 Great desserts too, the Creme Brulee was very creamy, quality not quantity. They have a good amount of mixed drinks, wine, and beer also. Good for a fancy date or just a night out for some good food on your own.
Awesome! I think the best meal I've had for a year. The steak was cooked perfectly (medium rare) the mashed potatoes were perfect, even the broccoli was good. A must go to when you are in Turlock,
We had a work Christmas party and were seated in the outdoor patio area. It was such a cold day but the owner and staff made sure we had heaters to keep us comfortable. The servers were amazing and friendly, and went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed.
My partner took me here for an early birthday after a ChatGPT search for good restaurants in the near by cities. It mentioned Table 26 as highly rated. I made a reservation and upon arrival, we were seated immediately by a friendly and welcoming hostess. We ordered soup, appetizer, entrees, drinks. When they were out of the wine I ordered, they upgraded without cost. The food was uniformly excellent and demonstrated a lot of attention to detail. Even the bread rolls we ordered were subtly sourdough while having a really nice texture. Everything was prepared well, seasoned well. I was asked if I wanted salt and pepper shakers and said yes, thinking, why not, but nothing needed it. One thing I especially appreciate is when multiple courses don't come all at the same time and crowd or rush you and we were given ample time to enjoy everything. The server was friendly, helpful, made good suggestions and added to the experience. All of the staff were friendly and professional. I had ordered a rib eye and my partner said it was the best beef she'd ever had. I just thought it was excellent. One additional thing that was unexpected is we were too full for any dessert, but for my birthday, our server brought a slice of cheesecake, a candle and some fruit syrup, that we were able to enjoy later. I don't ever remember such a thoughtful gesture so nicely executed. I initially dropped a star on the atmosphere because the food was a lot better than the space would lead one to expect. Not sure why specifically and I wouldn't recommend a change either. It was perfectly lovely in dark tones and so I put the star back. We'll go back and will tell a friend, and you.
I recently visited Table 26 in Turlock, California, and it instantly earned a place in my personal list of must-try/definitely coming back restaurants. The moment my food arrived, I knew I’d made the right choice. The steak bites were tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly, and the soup was rich, warm, and comforting—a combination that set the tone for an incredible meal. To go with the food, I ordered a Manhattan, and it was honestly one of the highlights of the evening. It wasn’t overpriced, and the balance of flavors was spot-on—smooth, well-mixed, and paired beautifully with the dishes in front of me. You can really tell when a bartender knows what they’re doing, and this one definitely delivered. Overall, Table 26 is a standout spot in Turlock, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for great food, great drinks, and a great atmosphere. Everything from the service to the flavors made it an amazing experience. If you’re anywhere near Turlock and want a place that gets food and drinks right, put Table 26 at the top of your list.
We haven't been here for quite some time, but were pleasantly surprised by the subtle changes! The waitstaff was professional and courteous, and were on point with providing great service and attention. Food was excellent and all steaks were prepared to perfection! We enjoyed all aspects of our meals. Very flavorful! We had requested a quieter spot if possible, which they were able to accommodate. Small things like this just add that final touch of class! See you soon, we will be back!
Exceptional Dining Experience – A New Favorite! We recently had the pleasure of dining at Table 26 to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary, and it was truly a wonderful experience from start to finish. For quite some time, this restaurant had been highly recommended by numerous friends and family members. Although we live about 40 minutes away, we finally made the trip to Turlock—and it was well worth it. We arrived for our 7:30 PM reservation to find the restaurant bustling with activity. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and promptly seated. Understanding how busy the restaurant was, we patiently waited for a server to offer drinks or appetizers. After noticing that guests who arrived after us were already being served, we began to feel overlooked. At that point, a kind and attentive team member named Sherryl noticed our situation and immediately stopped to check in with us. After explaining that we hadn’t yet been helped, she discovered there had been a technical issue with the system that left our table without a designated server. Sherryl was incredibly empathetic—especially after learning we were celebrating a special occasion—and went above and beyond to turn our evening around. She took the time to personally guide us through the menu, offering thoughtful and spot-on recommendations for cocktails, appetizers, and entrees. Her attention to detail and genuine care transformed our experience into something truly memorable. We started with the mango mojito and sangria, both of which were refreshing and flavorful. For our appetizer, we had the large Gamberetto Scapette, which was so delicious and filling that we weren’t sure we’d have room for our main courses. I had the ribeye steak, perfectly seasoned and cooked to order—it was outstanding. My wife chose the shrimp scampi, which she thoroughly enjoyed. We also shared a side of mac and cheese, based on rave reviews we had heard, and it exceeded expectations—rich, creamy, and generously portioned. Though we were quite full, we couldn’t resist dessert and tried the crème brûlée cheesecake, which was a delightful way to end the meal. Throughout dinner, Sherryl remained attentive and gracious. Toward the end of the evening, she introduced us to one of the owners, who was warm, friendly, and appreciative of the feedback. Mistakes happen, especially in busy environments, but the way Sherryl and the team handled the situation exemplifies true hospitality and customer care. Thanks to Sherryl’s exceptional service and the outstanding food, Table 26 has gained two loyal customers. We’re already looking forward to returning with our children and will enthusiastically recommend this restaurant to others. Highly recommended!
Table 26 for dinner as our date night tonight with my girlfriend Marlene Costa. Everything was amazing! For our starter, we went with the Bruschetta, amazing! For our mains, I got the Penne Romano and Marlene got the Chicken Marsala. For dessert we both went with the Creme Brulee, very very good! Service was amazing and we got to meet the man himself, Sean Graham! Amazing guy! Turns out he is from Oakdale. We had a good conversation. Thank you again for an amazing experience! We are going to take a nap now haha.
We always drive by this place but never have gone. We decided my wife’s birthday would be the perfect time to try it. They opened at 4pm so we got in and the ambience was very fresh. Especially now on warmer days. We met CiCi our server and then we actually met the owner Sean. Super cool person! We talked about music too! We first got a starter after our drinks. I got a salad and my wife got a minestrone soup. Then we got bread with butter. Very nice and warm! Then the food. I got the classic burger and wife got the steak. It looked exactly and even better than the photos. Everything was amazing. The owner and CiCi even checked on us and on our baby! We have privacy and lots of attention. Thank you all! I’m glad this is local! We will be going back!!
Dear table 26, staff and owner. My recent dining experience at your Turlock establishment (Table 26) was truly exceptional. From the warm welcome at the entrance to the attentive service throughout our meal, every aspect exceeded expectations. The friendly and efficient staff created a welcoming atmosphere that instantly put us at ease. I particularly enjoyed the bacon and blue cheese steak; the perfectly cooked meat complemented the rich, flavorful blue cheese, and the accompanying stuffed mushrooms were a delightful addition. The entire meal was prepared and presented with evident care and skill. Beyond the delicious food, the overall ambiance contributed greatly to the positive experience. The restaurant is ideally suited for a romantic dinner, a family gathering, or a celebratory meal with friends. It's a versatile venue that effortlessly caters to different occasions. I wholeheartedly recommend Table 26 to anyone seeking a memorable and high-quality dining experience. I look forward to returning soon to explore more of your menu offerings. Sincerely, Prestigious rim restoration.
I went here for my 18th birthday yesterday. The food and service was amazing. The waitress/staff all really nice. The owner was really nice. Owner came out and asked how's the food/any suggestions regarding menu. Really nice guy. The restaurant is a nice place as well. I'd definitely recommend dinner here. 5 star reviews down the line for everything.
Great food!!! We reserved late for Mothers Day, so sat on the patio on a 90 degree day (not that hot for Turlock, really). Service was a bit slow but things were SO GOOD. Definitely would return!
Have been here for dinner and lunch. Facilities are always clean and orderly. Staff is always helpful and attentive without bothering us. Overall no complaints. I had the crispy chicken salad, delicious. My Bf has the Korean chicken Bowl, too much rice for his liking but good taste.
This was our 1st time dining here. The restaurant looked spacious and well kept outside. The empty tables were clean and ready for guests. No leftover dishes, etc. We made reservations for 7:30pm and were promptly seated. Our server was wonderful! She had a great sense of humor and answered all of our questions. Drinks: I ordered a man o' war, which was excellent. I needed a second one! My buddy just had a beer, and the wives had a pink looking mojito. Everyone enjoyed! Food: I had seafood ravioli, which was excellent. Very creamy sauce, seafood not overcooked. Pasta was perfect. My buddy had the porkchop, which looked great. The wives had the steak. One was supposed to be medium, and the other was to be just a little pink. Unfortunately, the medium came out a little bloody, so it was sent back. Only issue the whole night. Overall we're coming back and we're coming back soon!
Table 26 used to be that "once a year" spot for special occasions, because it was so pricey. And the main reason to go was for the amazing food. I haven't been here since 2017 though and to be honest, the food was the worst part of my last trip. I would always get the Ahi Tuna dish. It came with pickled ginger, mashed potatoes & gravy, a dash of wasabi and a slice of avocado. But this time it came with steamed rice instead of the potatoes and green beans instead of the wasabi. The tuna was dry, the pickled ginger was dry, the green beans were overcooked and everything was just missing that kick it used to have. The service was great though and the atmosphere was very laid back. But paying that much for a meal that didn't have the same kick was really disappointing. But outside of the food, it was really nice. And I appreciate all their hard work keeping us happy. Without that dish though, I probably won't go back for another 7 years. 🙁
The food here was excellent. Especially for the price. Though our waiter was a bit inexperienced, the manager was extremely friendly and made sure we were happy. We will definitely eat here again.
Dinner on a weeknight with 4 adults and 2 small children. Waitstaff were very good, but kitchen was "slammed'" - waiter kept apologizing for what was really too long a wait for food to come, especially with little ones. Very noisy environment with rustic but also upscale mixed booth and table seating. Entrees were quite good, especially the Apple-Bourbon Pork Chop and "possibly the best restaurant burger I've had" (to quote my son). Green beans with entree were also good, except some very overcooked haricots were mixed in with the perfectly al dente regular beans. Would definitely eat there again, if I visit Turlock in future.
Nice restaurant, it has a limited selection when it comes to vegetarian entrees. Food was good but not amazing, their wine selection is small considering all the local wines in the area. Our sever Sam was really nice and attentive, the busser was also super attentive. Wasn’t too busy at 530 on a Sunday, but highly recommended having a reservation because it fills up quick.
The Filet Rare was very good but the shrimp appetizer for 22$ could use an upgrade sauce very ordinary ..
I ordered the sea bass dinner. The service was great. Our server was on top of getting our food out pronto and keeping our water glasses full. I was a little disappointed with the preparation of the Swiss Chard in my dinner. It was woody and tough to chew. My risotto was very flavorful. I sampled my husband's green beans that came with his dinner. They were yummy and steamed tender crisp! All in all I loved our dinner at Table 26!
First off I have to say the waitress Billie was a sweet gal. We had some concerns about the Menu being misrepresented by stating the Shrimp Scampi came with the Jumbo Tiger Prawns which was not true. We asked to speak to the Mgr Karen in which to detail our displeasure with the menu misleading customers that they were getting Jumbo Prawns in a dish that's advertised for $30. As we were told only the Manager could give us a 10% discount which was false, She never showed us any type of empathy for our situation even though we were first time visitors of the establishment. I left there thinking this place needs some type of team building to boost morale at the management level.
We decided to try this place for my birthday yesterday. We made reservations and were greeted and seated immediately. Our server James was terrific. The appetizers and food were delicious and we will definitely be back. Drinks are a bit pricey compared to other establishments but good. And they do not provide any birthday extras, like a complimentary dessert.
Table 26 delivered a solid dining experience. The Tuna Tower was delectable, with the microgreens adding a perfect finishing touch. I also tried the Cioppino, which leaned a bit sour for my taste, but the seafood itself was cooked to perfection. The pasta that came with it had a nice hint of garlic, but it was unfortunately quite bland. For the drink, I had the Espresso Martini. It was light, though it had a bit of a sharp, chemical aroma that reminded me of peroxide—I wasn’t quite sure which spirit was used, but at $15, I wasn’t going to let it go to waste! Overall, a very delicious meal.
The server we had was great it was the Bar that was Slower to get the drinks but nit to there fault they had a big party there when we were there.esting and I know everyone has staffing issues but we did appreciate our server. The food was great the only thing was that there were out of a few things we did want to order the mushrooms. Another appitizer and the hamburgers but the food we did order and get was delicious and cooked well so thank you to the chef for that it was great. The owner was great came by and talked to us I will be back to eat there again.
4.5 Stars: Calamari was excellent. I enjoyed the soy ginger sauce that came with it. The pork chop was was moist, favorable and tender. The side of Mac&Cheese was very good and the broccoli was cook perfect as well. The house Manhattan was delicious. Service was very good. They had a large private party in the back room that diverted my waiters time. The other staff jumped in and made sure I was taken care of. Well managed and good staff.
We dined here for Valentine’s Day date night. We had reservations and when we arrived we were cordially greeted and seated quickly. Our server Billie was very friendly and attentive. I ordered the raspberry kiss cocktail (special for that night) which was excellent and my husbands Long Island ice tea was great as well. Our appetizer was calamari which was lightly breaded and tender, served with two dipping sauces. We both ordered steaks which were prepared well. All the ladies received a long stem red rose which was a nice gesture. Very enjoyable date night close to home. We had another date night in 2025 and table 26 exceeded our expectations once again. The hostess that seated us was very friendly and Noah our server went over and above to make sure we were pleased with our meal. He informed us of delays of our main course and let us know that he was brewing fresh coffee for our dessert. He was friendly through out the service and made our dining experience very enjoyable. Our entrees were delicious and plated elegantly. Table 26 is always a very nice fine dining experience.
Little pricey for the town its in. But above average food just small portions for the price.
The server was the high point of the evening. She was a very accommodating and kind person. Unfortunately the food was just average and took 1 hour to receive our main dishes. Strange, we arrived when they were not busy. The food us overpriced. We won't return.
This was our second time here, first time was over 2 years ago. We have toddler boys so we don’t go out to eat out often. My husband and I treated ourselves out last night and I was a bit disappointing. Drink recommendations were great. Appetizer and bread came out really fast. The mac n cheese is delicious! When I ordered our waiter didn’t bother to ask how I wanted my steak cooked, then we waited a really long time for our food. I want to say at least 45 min. When it came out our waiter didn’t even bother to come and check up on us. Honestly, i hated my food. I barely touched it. When he came to ask if we wanted dessert i told him i didn’t like my plate. He just took it away and that was that. I paid $26 for a plate that went back to the kitchen pretty much full. Granted I made a bad selection so I won’t say this place has bad food; but it was disappointing that he didn’t offer to replace it with something else or discount it off my bill. Not entirely sure if I’ll be coming back.
Waitress is weird and kinda rude, food had almost no flavor. Place seems clean tho.
Looking for a great steak and nice place to treat our family. Unfortunately our waiter was not having the best day. Got our order wrong. And not very attentive. Don't get artichoke app. Manage and owner both came to take care of us. Not from the area. Maybe you will have better experience.
Good but unremarkable. Pleasant atmosphere and good food with polite host. It wasn't at all busy or requires a reservation on most weekdays (Wednesday). We found the menu very limited. The beer selection does include some local breweries including Persuasion which was a plus. The outside patio lacks any kind of flare or ambiance including heaters. The main course is all that is included, do not expect a soup or salad nor bread or any accoutrements. This is informal dining despite the reputation. How I end every review: would I go back? No.
I was so excited to eat here for New Year’s Eve. I have been here on several occasions before and had an awesome experience. However, yesterday’s visit was a completely different story. I do want to mention that the bus boy Jose was such a hard worker and was very attentive. If it was not for him this would be a one star. I think the waitress forgot we were there, the restaurant was not very busy we got there at 7:00 ordered drink which took about 20+ mins to get and they did not have some items that they needed to make a drink, so I asked for a substitute. She did not check with me prior to deciding to change the drink herself. I Ordered, I wanted a medium rare steak, the waitress explained that it would be really pink and so I changed the order to medium. I got the steak well done, mashed potatoes cold and green beans bland. I told the waitress my complaint and she did offer to remake it, but come on we had already waited over an hour to get our food. I was not about to wait another 40 mins.. no thank you! They did expailn that they cannot waive the food it’s policy..although that’s not what I wanted.. I just feel that you should get what you pay for..needless to say I will no longer travel to this restaurant anymore.. my experience completely changed my impression of this place. Oh and btw the restrooms were dirty and no toilet paper or seat covers. Someone needs to do better..
Very nice staff and atmosphere but the food was a big miss for us. Grandma's halibut was WAY overcooked, super dry, she got through less than half of it before giving up. My steak was meant to be mid rare but came out mid well the 1st time, solidly mid the second time. The steak wasn't very tasty either. A $42 ribeye that tasted like something from Sizzlers. They get two stars because our waiter was super. The place was very disappointing.
It took them 2 hours to get out good ready! Reason- less staff! Three of us ordered a burger and it came out burnt, very dry and cherry. The Salmon was cooked well and tasted really good, but the risotto was a bit hard- like when you microwave food and the edges get hard to chew. Won't be going there again.
I’d like to begin with the fact that we have been coming to this restaurant for years & typically have good service. This visit, our waitress CC was incredibly unprofessional and pretty rude throughout the entire experience. At one point she told one of the guests in my party when prompted a question, “I don’t know Babe I just work here.” She acted like she could care less about giving decent service and we all felt like a burden at this restaurant. She is the only reason we will not be back. The food was great otherwise.
My husband and I headed out to dinner at our favorite restaurant. We arrived tonight to find out all our friends are gone!! Under new management and at the owners discretion all the senior servers, some with 10 years experience are gone. We came for the food, but kept coming back for the people. They are all gone. Not sure why Billie’s gone but it is definitely a loss. The new ownership should probably consider hiring a real PROFESSIONAL to manage the team. He is charging for bread, ok we paid and it wasn’t the same quality as what we received for free. Salmon 2oz serving, $33? Wow, it will be our last meal at Table 26. Good luck on keeping the doors open, the ex is really not a good fit for what was once a great place to eat. We’re heading to Cut and Ernie’s. We’re not afraid to spend money on a good meal just not at a toxic, dull, unpleasant atmosphere. To come out and greet your customers does not make a great experience. It happens with the people that meet, greet, wait on and serve the public.
Angus Rib eye was $42, baked potato was good, green beans was good but steak came out cold and bland with a big lump of cold butter on top. By the time wait staff came back around everyone in my party was finished eating and I sent it away not even half way eaten. Waitress offered to substitute the dish but it was much too late. Was not happy with the steak what so ever. Manager took off 15%. Definitely not a $42 steak or even a 15% off $42 steak. No amount of butter would make it worth eating. I would highly suggest Center Street grill for a fantastic steak just down the road. However, the poki was good and the chips were fantastic.
My wife and I have been here several times before even for a wedding banquet but tonight was not good. My steak was tough thrown on top of the mashed potatoes. There was no bread or anything yet there was a dish in the center for something. I’m done and not paying this kind of money and come away Sad. I know we were just a table for two, but we were stuck against the wall with heavy traffic. The lighting was bright and it was loud as a bar environment. I had to lean in to be able to hear my wife talking to me. we don’t get out very often but there’s nothing I’m missing when I eat at home compared to the night I had.
Ruined our date night. Just a horrible time that dragged on and on. The waiters kept giving all the customers the same excuses that they were fully booked, but really they were just under staffed. You can see the dissatisfaction on everyone’s face as we waited extraordinary long times for a refill on drinks and appetizers and especially their long anticipated entrees. The quality of the food is still great and worth the price. But I will not be spending that much for that service ever again.
First arriving, the atmosphere was inviting, staff seemed friendly and a well presented tables. Service took a bit long over 10 minutes for first introduction. I requested a water refill 4 times before ever having it refilled: which was repeated for all other requests as well, such as my husband asking for ranch for his fries. When the entrees arrived, mine being Chicken Marsala, the Marsala wine sauce was flavorful and delicious. However, my chicken was dry and edges burnt. Seems like it was trying to be covered up by the sauce. Platting was nice and more upscale than your typical restaurant. Unfortunately, we have decided this was a nice place to try but will not be returning.
