A little slice of heaven on earth which I will miss dearly. The mountain views, the rushing streams, the stunning river, the animals, the flowers, the hammocks and swings, the smiling and kind faces of everyone who works here - if you look closely you will notice detail that will warm your heart. It's obvious that a lot of love have been put into creating this place. There is always good energy and your soul will feel nourished by the end of your stay. I stayed here for a few nights during the busy easter holiday and a lot of local families seem to frequent here. It's a big contrast to the Ecolodge next door, which seems more commercial (I've only been there briefly). The restaurant was bustling during the day and you do hear the noise from the music and playing kids (the rooms are close to the restaurant), but after dark it quiets down and you only hear nature (especially the streams). The wifi is not always good but you don't miss it when you are here. I recommed you stay for at least a few days and go to the nearby Las 3 Tzimoleras.

Our Stay at this place was Incredible !!! The People are so pleasant and go out of their way to ensure satisfaction in every sense of the word. They have an open Menu, and everything is made Fresh to Order. I have never seen a place with such apparent natural Beauty, with the cold running spring water running down the mountain side and traversing through the property and it's lavish gardens, this is definitely a place of great Beauty. When in this area of Chiapas Mexico, this is a must to stop by and enjoy the Beauty and the great hospitality as it is very very impressive. And the owner, Mrs. Conception Gordillo was one of the nicest people I have ever met, what a joy this was to find.

Excellent place to get in touch with nature. It has many green areas for walking. It's a unique experience. Excellent service and excellent attention. The facilities are super comfortable and relaxing. Ideal for going with the family. Without a doubt, the place is highly recommended.

A charming place where you can enjoy nature to the fullest, the food is delicious and affordable, as well as the incredible attention of its owners, they make you feel like family, the cabins are very clean and picturesque, you can feed the fish, there is camping and also a nice hike, a place you must visit if you travel to Chiapas

We enjoyed a three night stay at la Palapa de Modin. The place is lovely, the service is excellent. The staff are very kind. The food in the restaurant is delicious at fair prices! Highly recommend visiting with family

It's very remote, I don't believe it's worth venturing into. I went three years ago, and the place is still cluttered with things that look off-putting. The pool and running water are fine.

The food isn't bad, but the girl serving us was awful. She threw things on the table and served us horribly. The pool was dirty. You can't even get into the waterfall because it's dirty underneath. If you're looking for a place to swim, this one only has the pool. If you arrive after it's cleaned, it's a nice place to relax if you like nature. The mojarra in aguachile is red.
