I can't speak for the shrimp dishes as my allergy to such critters precludes my enjoyment, but you can't beat Villa Del Mar's superb execution of every other plate of standard Mexican-American food.

Great Mexican food with quite a few options. I had fish tacos. They were made from fresh fish from Fort Bragg and were fabulous.

Carne asada tacos and Fried Fish tacos were very good. Staff was nice

Homemade, not your abuelas (grandma) cooking but still still just as good, Spanish/South American Dishs. The Walls are Bright and full of color and tge crew and tge kitchen always have a smile.

The Machaca was amazing!! Homemade flower tortillas!!

I was pleasantly surprised the food was decent. I moved from Southern California, where there is delicious food. up to Ukiah, where I struggle to find decent food, take out or sit down.

I love the food here. The rice has good flavor and the beans are very very good. Some places have changed the beans and the rice is almost tasteless. Not here, they are so good. The main dishes are really good and the cost is reasonable, given the high cost of running a restaurant now days.

Wonderful tacos with soft juicy meats. The salsa is spicy and delicious. If you don’t want salsa on your tacos, let them know when you order.

Really great little Mexican food restaurant that we stopped at on our way north. It is difficult to find decent Mexican food this far up CA and most of the places I get recommended never scratch the itch since SoCal Mexican food is always on another level. We got fish, shrimp, and carne asada tacos and all were really good. They had a really big menu so seems like they got something for everyone. Servers were incredibly nice. Will definitely be back if I’m in town :)

They are friendly, take phone orders, my meals have always been hot, fresh vegetables, and there different meats cooked to perfection. The beans are the best they taste like a smoked hock was cooked put in the pot. If it is slow sometimes they close earlly is why it got a four star.

The prices are good, the cashier wap good, the Carnitas tacos are really good. My only complaint is the salsa is too hot! Next time I will order salsa on the side. I will go back again, o had a good experience.

Standard Mexican fare well-done. This place does specialize in seafood, but most of the seafood was centered around shrimp. My gout prevents me from stuffing my pie-hole with too much shrimp; so I can't speak to the shrimp dishes. I will say that the chile-relleno was excellent and the tacos de pescado were delectable. I will certainly come back for this Mexican comfort-food.

Burrito was delicious but needed some crunch. Lettuce, cabbage, etc. Also gotta have a steak knife for carne asada burrito, not a butter knife. Great salsa bar!

It has good seasoning, plus pieces of potato and it is excellent. The quality of the ingredients seems good as well. The reason I'm not giving them 5 stars is because it is only at this level when the owners/older couple are working. When they aren't there or go on vacation their son runs the kitchen. The quality drops to about a 3 star because the chipotle sauce isn't as good and things aren't cooked the same. This can make it a roll of the dice as to which cook you're getting and sometimes you may not get the 5 star.

Doesn't really taste like Mexican food but it's fast and friendly. Nice place to go if there's no other Mexican restaurant. The horchata tastes kind of weird tho. But other than that it was a nice experience for me.

I ordered a cheese, beans and rice burrito. They made me pay extra for sour cream and guacamole. They nickel and dime you here. The burrito was terrible . There was a bad smell to it. And the price was way too high for what I got. This place is terrible . I will not come back.

All the sodas were flat and the food was very iffy. The regular burritos were hot and the enchiladas just didn't taste that good. Chips and salsa was the only good part.

The cashier at this restaurant is super rude! She's messed up our order many times and made us pay for items that we didn't order. She raised her voice tonight and messed up our order again. Told us we had to pay for it and insulted us. I don't know how she works on the register. Never coming back again!

Normally I always got to Jalos in Ukiah when it comes to Mexican food. It was close today. So I ordered ceviche tostadas from this place. Never again... Bland as hell couldn't even taste the shrimp...👎👎👎

The super burrito enchilada style was way too hot. You also need to change your prices online it's says $8.50 plus $2.50 for super and it was $21 when I went to pick it up. Price is way off from the online price. The customer service also sucked.
