I recommend the Cajun mussels. They were delicious. Nice selection of skewered meats and seafood as well. Finally, the service was excellent! Very polite and efficient. The food comes out FAST.

Friendly staff and delicious oysters - such a good deal on Tuesdays & Wednesdays ($1 oysters) ! Also tried their garlic cheese bread (forgot to take a photo) and it was pretty good.

I come here regularly. All their food slaps and is a reasonable price. If you're on keto you can come here and just eat a bunch of yakitori. Atmosphere is good and it's a sports bar but it's usually not too loud. Big tables and comfy chairs. Staff is nice and fast. It's walking distance from the Union City bart station.

Last time I came here was at the San Jose location years ago. The San Jose location is currently unavailable, but wanted to visit this location for memories. The spicy curry was spicier than I thought, but still tasted great! Definitely get the black garlic ramen and beef tongue skewer! Place was pretty empty around 6pm on a weekend, but more people at 7pm. Has pop music playing and sports on the screens. Service was fast and attentive. We were able to choose which seats to sit at.

Great food, reasonable price, awesome customer service. I dont mind the 20 min drive to get food from this place. The best Malaysian Fried Noodles and Cajun Shrimp. Strawberry Soju by the pitcher to share with friends and then get some delicious dessert next door. You're welcome 😊

The food was amazing. Curry chicken toast is a must have. We loved chicken breast skewers as well. It had smoky flavor. Service was amazing. The hostess was very welcoming. Will definitely come again.

All the foods were great! No disappointment at all. My favorite is the pork belly skewers, beef tongue was soft (sweet though), oyster and mussels was fresh. Cheese corn was good, more in the chewier side with LightX burn surface. Purple rain drink was a good treat. Waygu beef was just okay, kind of dry.

For my personal favorite at Bar bay grill is the Seafood fried vermicelli 馬來西亞海鮮炒米粉, taste very good and the portion is big(for me). The vermicelli not over cook and have great flavors. I can tell the chef use high heat to saute. I like the idea of hot sauce on the side.... 🔥 highly recommend! I will definitely come back again! Taste good even in the next day.

Awesome and good food ! Highly recommended the Curry toast ( this could quite spicy for people whom are not use to spicy food ) & Malaysian style fried vermicelli! Good quality food with reasonable price and we ordered a lot of food. Staffs are efficient, food & drinks served without being waiting long. I will definitely visit again!

Great food. Whole squid cooked perfectly. Wagyu beef skewers is like eating a juicy medium rare steak. Friendly service. Sports bar-like atmosphere. One weird thing is they charge for credit card processing.

My favorite skewers are the chicken skin skewers, pork belly skewers, shitake mushroom skewers, shishito peppers, bacon wrapped quail eggs, mussels in special mayo, shrimp in special cheese. Their waygu skewers are dry, I don't recommend. They need to improve their storefront appearance to draw in more customers. Inside the ambiance is nice.

Great place to go with your friends to drink and watch the game. The biggest size they do is pitcher for beer. Unfortunately they stopped having the tower. The restaurant is overall clean. Place is for diehard Warriors fan. Food: Oyster platter was pretty good. Not the best I have ever had, but if you are craving for raw oyster, you can get it here. Garlic fries were pretty good. The portion is slightly small. Not to heavy on the garlic. Comes with 2 different sauce, which are ketchup and bbq. BBQ chicken wings were good. Comes with a half dozen. The sauce is all over the wing. Sauce has a sweet taste and is between a mild and moderate spice level. Didn't need to use the lemon wedge on it for flavor. Spicy chicken wings were good as well. Came with a dipping sauce. The BBQ chicken wings tasted better if you had to choose one. The fried Calamari was good. Tapas size portion as well. Didn't taste like the sea. Correctly seasoned. Pieces were cut perfectly. Chicken karaage was really good. It was crispy and came with a sweet sauce to dip the chicken. Better than some actual Japanese restaurants. I highly recommend this dish. Baked oyster was probably the most tastiest out of all the items we ordered. The Mayo definitely heightens the meal itself. I would recommend this to be on your order. All the skewers pretty much tasted all the same. The wagyu slightly tasted better. Heart and gizzards tasted pretty good. Get it for the diehard meat lover. Service: Server was quick. No happy hour but still gave it a try. It was almost completely empty inside at 4pm. Beef tongue was by far my favorite out of the scallops, beef belly and and chicken heart. Besides that the beers were okay.... Nothing too special but if you tryna get that grill taste then it's not bad. The only server there was like watching some video with his earbuds in in the back so we never saw him LOL. Food: 6/10 Service: 3/10 Experience: 5/10 Value: 4/10

Bar Bay Grill is a solid choice for a casual and satisfying meal. Their menu offers a good variety, and everything I've tried has been delicious and well-prepared. Even when it's 'less busy than usual,' the atmosphere is pleasant, and the service is attentive. A great spot for a relaxed lunch or dinner.

Excellent food and good atmosphere, but the customer service was really bad and that's the reason why I never will come back. I was standing up and walked every time I needed something like more napkins, salt, or more soy sauce. terrible service from the waitress to the customers. not recommended
