AMAZING PHO!! This was the first time I’ve ever seen a Spare Rib Pho, so of course I had to get it!! My gawwddd the meat just fell off the bone! It was so juicy & soft! The broth was delicious, the noodles were soft as silk! I can’t wait to come back!!!

Possibly the best pho I've had. My two friends said the same. We were in from out of town and got there sort of late due to travel congestion, but they were super friendly and the food was amazing. Would give more stars if I could.

Lemon grass grilled chicken with rice and garlic noodles with chicken were both good. Portion sizes are adequate enough for one person.

Got pho ga and the service is super speedy. Decent broth despite the dry chicken. Overall great for a quick bite!

Ordered Bún Bò Huế at lunch time. Soup came in what felt like an instant. The broth could use a bit more sate. But it had all the right pieces including the chả sausage and blood cubes. They also happily provided some crushed fresh chili for me after I asked for ớt xay. I'll give anyone 5 stars for spicy chili. One thing I'd also mention is the gà xào sả ớt is mild here.

Phantastic! Love the name & their chicken Phoa lives up to it! Staff very attentive polite & quick to serve. Super for me since I only get a half hour meal break! Definitely a MUST RETURN restaurant as their menu has so many enticing options I have to try! Oh yeah... excellent vietnamese coffee too! Love it!

Authentic, friendly exactly what you'd want from a Vietnamese restaurant. Simple and to the point, traditional.

Most recently, I ordered the pho ga (chicken pho) just as it is and it was flavorful, full of good size chicken pieces, ample noodles, and the broth was perfect. Toppings on the side were plentiful (basil, lemon, sprouts, etc.). I also ordered a soda chanh (lemon soda) and some spring rolls. Again, never an issue with the freshness or quantity provided. Just loved it and highly recommended you pay this restaurant a visit if you're in Union City and are seeking a wonderful Vietnamese restaurant. While I haven't tried the other meat/rice dishes they offer (since I typically only ordered pho), my other family members have and will attest that they are made well and are of sizeable portion. Also, the family that runs this place is always kind and efficient. Thank you so much!

This place consistently has great food and great service. The food tends to come out in less than 10-15 minutes after ordering, assuming it isn't packed. I always get the spring rolls and some type of beef pho. I'd come here a lot more often if I could.

A family run Vietnamese restaurant on the quiet end of Decoto Square with good food at reasonable prices. Maybe I'm wrong but I think they make pho (broth) the old fashioned way with beef and chicken bones. The broth tastes a little more intense and unctuous in a good way. So the pho is certainly good but also try the bun riueu listed in the specials section. They like cooking with lemongrass here at Pho Mama so expect items to have more of it than usual. The dining is medium small and a little dim. Service is friendly and accommodating and parking is not a problem. We didn't know what to expect when we walked in but we're happy to have tried Pho Mama and we will return when we get a chance.

First time trying this place since it's recent 'Grand Opening'. Simple and small menu. Prices are average for Vietnamese food. Flavor and taste is good and on par; I wouldn't say it is exceptional. Good enough to come back again if I need a quick bite. My son ordered the BBQ Chicken and egg roll vermicelli. He said the egg roll tasted okay, but did enjoy the rest of the dish. We also ordered Thai tea, Vietnamese coffee, and an Avocado shake. All these drinks came in a boba style cup, and tasted great. Not super sweet, and flavor-filled. Pro: Free parking and plenty of it; they take most major credit cards; clean and bright inside; simple menu, drinks are great; quick service; I did hear the owner/manager speak French and Vietnamese, and English very well. Cons: Only one size for most items, no large; pho came with less than average steak; very limited on the meat or beef orders; everything mainly chicken, or seafood.

Everything is delicious but stay away from the Pad Thai. It’s missing flavor and only had 2 shrimp 😢

My boyfriend's Thinly Sliced Pork Rice dish was tasty too. I am curious to how the soups taste now. During another visit, I tried the Beef Stew Soup which came with more ramen type noodles and became my new favorite dish from here.

I ordered takeout, the broth is just a little watery. Not too much of a taste. I’ve had better at pho lan across from the hub.

Disappointed in the quality of the food. I used to visit this location weekly. Today, my chicken rice plate was missing the soup, fish sauce and my Thai tea, tasted like watered down powder. No milk, or creamer.. not even a ML of sugar!😡 Even the chili paste tasted wierd 🤦 If I didn't live so far, I would have drove back and returned the order. Not cool.

I am only giving them a great review for the food because I can’t deny it’s delicious but after today I’m completely done with this place I have been to this restaurant maybe on 2 or 3 occasions as it became my favorite. Today I get up real excited to go I arrive I walked in One lady came towards me as she looked at me funny. She didn’t greet me or nothing and I felt uncomfortable because when I walked in I was excited and I said hello and got no response just funny looks but anyways I proceed to let her know it’s just me and I would like to eat for here. She looked at me with this face of confusion/disgust And asked me am I sure I said, huh? What do you mean am I sure? She says oh I remember you you eat and you just go can you pay for your food first? I said you must got me confused with someone else because I come here all the time and I don’t dine and dash. I pay and say have a nice day when I leave. At this point, I’m furious, but I am so proud of myself because I Didn’t go off. I said can you show me the cameras she says oh no we don’t have it on camera. I let her know if you’re going to accuse somebody of eating and leaving you should know for sure who you’re talking about because to just assume and run the risk of offending somebody and losing a customer is a shame. She says oh you look like somebody. I would love to know who this somebody is that I look like. We’re not gonna play like race is not the issue here because if I can be more honest I definitely do not look like another Asian woman or etc being that I am a African American woman . So I showed her my ATM transactions of all the times that I have came to this restaurant. Before I showed her, I let her know that after I show you, I will not be eating here today or ever again And how offended I was by her accusations . I definitely feel profiled racially and accused of something that is not part of my character I WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN AND THERE IS NO APOLOGY THAT WOULD EVEN BRING BALANCE TO THE WAY I WAS TREATED.
