I came here to leave a review thinking there will high rated reviews but surprised to see the ratings but BEST CHINESE TAKE OUT in Fresh Meadows. Hands down. Never had any problems or customer service yet. Lady up front is nice, no fuss. I order and pay and go. Simple as that.

My daughter -in- law ordered from Daves one night when my husband and I were over. I was amazed on how delicious the food was, especially the fried dumplings. Everything there is delicious, now this is our new place to order from.

Absolutely delicious Chinese food. The General Tso chicken, lo mein, boneless spare ribs, shrimp in lobster sauce- its all wonderful. Made quickly to order. Credit/contactless payment available.

Omfg the food is actually delicious! I'm honestly surprised at how crunchy the general tso chicken. It was definitely fresh! How can I tell? Because it wasn't soggy and there's still that crunch before you toss freshly fried batter coated meat into the sauce. Anyway, it's Delicious!

The fried rice is made with a variety of fresh ingredients that you can tell are hand cut (onion, spring onion, bean sprouts, small scrambled eggs, roast pork.) Taste and value are really good. Some of the best cheap chinese takeout you will find in NYC. Better quality and fresher ingredients than some of the bougie places selling for 3x the cost.

I’ve ordered from here several times and have been blown away by the flavor and freshness every time. Not greasy! This has become my go-to for American-Chinese takeout! Excellent eggrolls and hot-n-sour soup!

Sometimes people simply don’t have extra money beyond what they’re told the total will be, and no one should feel pressured or shamed at the door. If tips are required, that should be made clear ahead of time.

Since there are new owner the food is okay, not great like how the previous owner were. The previous owner would freshly fry the wings crispy.

lady is so nice and rude she not like to answer questions so proceed with caution bring your own hot souse because they charge one doller and combo doesn’t come with soda

Unfortunately, I have to update this. After many years of ordering from this place, they were super nasty and belligerent. We ordered through Uber Eats yet again but the wrong order was delivered. The uber driver said we had to contact the restaurant. The restaurant was incredibly dismissive and rude and blamed it on Uber. I asked if I could just place order again and even pay for it twice. They had obviously put the wrong tag on the bag, so someone who ordered wings is enjoying our family meal….and they just want to yell at me. The guy just kept yelling at me and telling me it was Uber’s fault. All I wanted was to get the food we paid for. I guess after decades, I have to stop ordering from them. What a shame. The guy yelled at me some more and then hung up on me. This place has the best pork fried rice I’ve had in years. It’s the dark brown, well cooked, flavorful fried rice I grew up with that has become very hard to find. I also tried the mixed egg drop/wonton soup, pork lo mein and egg rolls. All were excellent. I will definitely order from them again. Update: They didn’t give us ANY sauces at all. Big order. NO duck sauce. No soy sauce. No mustard. I put in the notes that I wanted extra sauces. I got exactly ZERO sauce. The food was still pretty good overall but the lack of sauce is hard to understand. Why won’t they just give you some packets of duck sauce?

This review is about a week late. Last week we ordered dinner here and none of the food was fresh. Some of it even tasted sour. We ordered fried wontons and the meat inside was hard and sour. I don't recommend anybody eat here.

I ignored the low ratings and ordered from here and I’m devastated. I ordered a shrimp chow fun for lunch at work and half way through found chicken in it. I have strict dietary restrictions due to religious reasons and I can’t believe there was a chicken in my food. I’m disappointed

Driver has bad attitude And he to much in a rush. I came down within 2 mins and he left. Called him and he screaming at me and saying he will not deliver to me so I called the store and the Chinese lady that doesn’t speak English definitely should not be working there either. I never leave reviews. Don’t order from here, ordered 2 vegetarian items a few months ago and received what I ordered. Ordered the same 2 items and received a non vegetarian chicken and broccoli with pork fried rice. Called to ask if it was a mistake and was screamed at by multiple restaurant staff. Just avoid tbh

We were hungry stopped at Dave Kitchen. Lady at front desk was yelling on young girl, yelling on old man working in kitchen. No respect for customer. No air conditioning. We ordered lo main, chicken seaseme, fried dumpling 2 items, lady didnt have lo main so they put fried rice in bottom without telling us, then chicken and then 2 boxes of dumplings … so we don’t see.. we left and reached home and opened to see this … I would never recommend them or ever go their again.. if she was rude while talking… she was loud. When my wife asked her for hot sauce… 😂😂she said I am giving this free otherwise 1 dollar charge next time ✅👏🏻👏🏻OMG. For a order of food such arrogance .. we r paying for food not asking for free

I have ordered from this place a multitude of times. I find their food to be ok but I gave them plenty of my money. They will never get my business again. I ordered a large chicken noodle soup, pork fried rice with chicken wings and 3 cans of ginger ale. When my food arrived. I started to eat the chicken noodle soup. As I am drinking the liquid and eating the noodles, I start wondering where the chicken is. As I sift through it I notice that there is no chicken at all in the container. I call them back and tell them about the issue. The person on the other line starts telling me there is a mistake that there is chicken in there. I get upset because I'm clearly looking at it and searching for it and there it definitely no chicken in the soup. The man on the phone finally tells me. We will fix it. I will send you another one and you can keep the one you have. I said ok. So, I took the soup broth and mixed it with some rice for my dog. When they arrive with the replacement soup I go upstairs to receive it and he asks, " where is the other soup?" I replied by saying, "you told me to keep it." He says. " I didn't say that". He storms off mad. First you try to make me feel like I'm crazy and that there is chicken in the soup when there wasn't and then you try to make me feel like I'm crazy by telling me that you didn't say to keep the other soup. The soup broth was bland and tasted like noodle water more than soup. Now you lost a good customer over a $5 soup that cost 25 cents to make. Their dumpling sauce sucks. And their wings are always dry and over cooked. Not sure why I kept ordering from this place but that's done with.

Stired with spoon soup was like very soft jelly and like stuck to the spoon even though it was still hot. I took it back and in my softest voice told her it was no good. Without blinking an eye she yelled and got so mad at me telling " not to come back". I know me for very long time and that I was loyal customer. When I the told her not treat any body like that. She totally ignored me and acted as if she was busy even when none of the chef's were at the stove and no customers. Will NEVER go back Dinesh

The young girl on the phone ended her call with an f-you. The older man screamed so loud into the phone I could hear from across the room. We asked for our money back and returned all. I would never patronize this place again. I hope they didn’t serve anyone else the food we opened. They lost longtime customers over a bowl of rice that probably cost 1.00 to make. YUK!

I called the restaurant and was told that if I ordered pizza and gave a $1 tip they would throw the pizza in my face! He said he didn't care about me putting the reviews on Yelp nor Google.. THE FOOD WAS COLD AND LACKED FLAVOR. THEY CARE MORE ABOUT MONEY THAN KEEPING CUSTOMERS. TAKE YOUR MONEY WHERE YOU WILL BE RESPECTED!

MSG. Horrid. Telling moment was first bite- crab rangoon- fresh, crispy. Reached back in the bag and they'd left out the Rangoon dip sauce. Rukm? I don't even want to try the soup. Garbage. Very, very disappointing.
