To eat ;)) we ordered the shrimp bisque, bone marrow, prime rib (only avail on Fri and Sat btw), and the scallops. Everything tasted divine! To top it all off, there was a live Elvis performer who was also alive and also amazing. He really was bringing sexy back… YEAH! I’m just gonna say it… I think you all should come here. It’s really fun and you’re gonna like the way you look. I guarantee it! ;)))

Wow where do I start! Child/ family friendly! The atmosphere, the ambiance, the tables and wall decor, the lighting- GORGEOUS! So much more beautiful inside than any picture can capture. I love the three separate sections and we were SOOO happy to be seated in the piano room! With our frank sinatra dude Eddie and the sweet Logan! My son was at dinner with us and his name is Logan too, he noticed I wasn’t a fan of the scallops- just my taste, and he was funny about helping me ask for something different lol I appreciated that and was ready not to say anything lol but Angelica was a doll! Lovely waitress and hope to see her next time so I can tip her better 🤗 thank you all soo much, This was the best dinner I’ve been to ever. Oh man how lucky we were that Logan and Eddie sang together. The rack of lamb and filet mingoin was delicious. The bone marrow, delicious, my bf said the pork belly was to die for. Even the bread& butter was yummy! Can’t wait to come back! I booked a table for next week lol hoping we end up in the same dining room ! I expected to spend more, so 350- for three of us, 4 drinks total, 3 entrees, 2 starters and tip included, it was all worth it ❤️ Thankfully was able to virtually top our singers also. We walked in with reservations, waited less than 5 minutes to be seated :) and they had a beautiful waiting area right there near the hostess ☺️ The live music is my favorite!

This was the coolest restaurant I’ve ever been to! They have amazing food, amazing drinks, friendly and wonderful service, and spectacular entertainment. The Elvis Presley impersonator is top notch and they also have a magician that does free magic at your table.

The sides and drinks complemented the meal beautifully, and the service was friendly, attentive, and made the night feel special. On top of the amazing food, the entertainment really set this place apart. The Elvis impersonator was awesome, and the magician added a fun, memorable touch that made the evening even more unique. As if that wasn’t enough, there was even a magician performing up-close magic at the tables, which was incredibly entertaining and such a fun surprise. The decor felt classic and intimate, and everything looked clean and well cared for. The service was top-notch. The bartenders were attentive and friendly, management even stopped by to check on how we were doing, and our server was kind, communicative, and on point all night. A small but much-appreciated detail: the menus lit up, so we didn’t need to use our phone flashlights — such a thoughtful touch! Now for the food… wow. The salmon and filets were absolutely delicious. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. From start to finish, it was a wonderful dining experience. We’ll definitely be back!

Walking in felt like teleporting back to 1950s-1960s Las Vegas or stepping into a classic old-school Los Angeles joint where superstars once hung out. There’s no pressure to impress here. The background hum is saxophone, Elvis, and the sound of people actually socializing, laughing, smiling, and being present. The energy in the room is warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. Everyone is there to decompress and enjoy themselves, and you can feel that the moment you walk in. The service is extremely professional yet personal. The staff is warm, attentive, and truly makes you feel seen and taken care of. It’s rare to find a place where the vibe and the service are both this strong. The Magic Lamp Inn is the kind of place you come to celebrate something special, birthdays, anniversaries, or even a proposal if you’re into eccentric colors, sound, and atmosphere. The whole experience made me feel like I was in a movie, maybe The Godfather or something timeless and cinematic. I absolutely love this space, and I’m so happy I got to experience it.

First time visit and our dinner experience was absolutely wonderful. We were seated almost immediately and enjoyed a cozy table for two. Love the illuminated menus. Alfonso was our server and was very attentive and gracious throughout. Our meal was so delicious. Started with a wedge salad and my filet mignon was cooked to perfection. My husband’s porterhouse would’ve been perfect as well, except it was a little too medium well for his taste (he ordered medium rare). My lemon drop martini was amazing too! We were also pleasantly surprised at how reasonable our check was and our meal included drinks and desert! We loved everything about this very cool, old school steakhouse and we will definitely be back!

We drove an hour and a half for dinner after hearing great things about this place, and it did not disappoint. With over 30 years of history and now under wonderful new ownership, the experience was exceptional from start to finish. The ambiance was warm and inviting, the live music was fantastic, and the crowd had great energy. We loved the complementary vegetable medley appetizer and the lighted menus were amazing so my mom didn’t need to put on her glasses. Our filet mignon and sea bass were perfectly cooked, and the French onion soup was delicious. The martinis were excellent, and the service was top-notch. After dinner, we wandered into the magical garden on the side, filled with beautiful statues, a full bar, and amazing lighting that made the whole space feel enchanting. Highly recommend!

Great ambiance and friendly and attentive staff, thank you Chrissy!!. I love how interactive this place was. They have a really cool light up menu, and trust me if you've ever been at a dimly lit "romantic" restaurant it is sooo hard to read those normal tiny print menus. Had the surf n turf, lobster Mac and cheese, and baked potato which was filling for two people to share! There's a cozy fireplace waiting area, live music, and during our time, a magician went around to some tables and did magic tricks which was very interactive. Be sure to dress up, this place has a dress code. Rather than seeing it as limiting, I think it's important to the vibe of the place and I recommend magic lamp inn as a nice dinner date spot!

We are back! We came back a few months after the soft reopening with a large party of 12 people for dinner right before Christmas, and this place did not disappoint! Everything was so delicious from the classic relish dish to the delicious cocktails to the steak, we loved it all! We had several small children in our group and they were very accommodating to take care of them. They had a live crooner singing music as we were eating dinner and the place was beautifully decorated in Christmas decor. Everything continues to feel very updated, but still has that classic magic lamp feel. At the end of the dinner, Edward asked us if we wanted to go see the magic garden, he took us to the back of the restaurant and showed us a brand new outdoor patio that they had just built. It is beautiful and he told us they are hoping to have it open soon. We love this place and will be back!

Growing up in Rancho, I've always driven past three The Magic Lamp, but never had the chance to go. Finally after all these years, it was everything I expected and more. I had the rib eye, it was perfect. The atmosphere and vive are excellent. There was an Elvis impersonator performing and he was also great, not too loud so you could still have a conversation. Overall this is my new favorite restaurant, we will be coming back often.

One of the best details is that the menus light up so they are easy to read for old eyes. I 100% recommend this place for any occasion. I will definitely be back. Brought my Fiancé here for her birthday, easily made reservations on their website (recommended) and asked for a table with a good view to celebrate. We were sat at a beautiful spot by the window, decorated with balloons next to the live entertainment. Atmosphere was excellent as well as staff energy. Food is on the pricier side but is justified by great quality and delicious taste. Filet mignon was great, melt in your mouth; and the Lobster Mac was excellent, good enough portion for two. The low lighting and a moody aesthetic that sets the perfect mood. The bar is a standout—the cocktails are creative, perfectly balanced, and served with real attention to detail. What really made the night, though, was the service. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. You can tell the management takes pride in what they do—everything felt organized, smooth, and super well-run. It’s rare to find a place where the atmosphere, drinks, and service all hit this level. This place has to be the best stake house I have EVER been too that are respectful, very hospitable, friendly, and over all amazing staff i definitely would recommend this place for anyone that’s looking for a wonderful time and great food!

Be sure you don't wear shorts! Dress code is posted and enforced politely. I wore a cotton dress and loafers, but my brother had shorts on. We drove from Fullerton to enjoy this meal and we will be back. I had sea scallops, brussel sprouts and a really good dessert. It was like milk bread with ganache.

What a magical experience! Fantastic steaks, salad and dessert! Enjoyed their excellent service and a perfect place to celebrate special occasions. Take it from someone who’s been to many fine dining, this place is a hidden gem in the IE. Our server Jocelyn is so sweet and professional and we felt very well cared for. A magician stopped by and wow….what a nice treat! Very well run restaurant and made me felt valued as a customer. Will definitely be back!

Absolutely love this place! I'm big on salmon and I have to say the salmon here so delicious is better than good it's great!! It melted in my mouth the flavor and texture was amazing neat I've had!! Hey everyone! Absolutely obsessed with this place!! The atmosphere, let’s start there! The atmosphere was vibrant! From the steps lighting up in the front of the entrance, absolutely breathtaking! The service was awesome, very lovely people you really connect with everyone! And the food! I’m a self proclaimed foodie and I would love and happily say 10/10!

Great experience! Service was great. The live entertainment was such a nice added touch. Music and magic. Food was delicious. Ribeye steak and filet mignon were cooked to perfection and lobster mac n cheese is a must have. The manager added a personal touch by visiting tables and conversating with his guests. Will be back!

Tried Magic Lamp for the first time and it exceeded expectations. The staff was attentive and friendly, the ambiance was cozy and inviting, and the food and drinks were fantastic. You can tell they care about the experience. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend!!! The ambiance is awesome with the decor and live singers. The bread is delicious! The main dishes even better. I had the filet mignon it was absolutely delicious! My husband had the lobster…melt in your mouth goodness! And to top it off our waitress Alyssa was so sweet and attentive. Put this place on your list to f must try and restaurants!

Decided to try something new for our fifth wedding anniversary. We chose the magic lamp inn because of the photos and reviews. And after our meal, we decided we made a great choice. First time coming to magic lamp tonight, my husband surprised me for our 16 year anniversary and I am so pleased with the experience here at the magic lamp. From the moment you step inside this restaurant the experience begins. Definitely a must try. The food, service and drinks were 10/10 Alyssa was out server she was fantastic!

Took my girl here - Had the Spiced Pear Sour, French 75, Hugo Spritz, Pork Belly app, Filet Bruscgetta app, 24oz porterhouse; and lobster Mac and cheese. And this place delivered. From the ww2 photos, to the crooning lounge singer, to the fantastic waitress, ultra retro decor and best food I've had in this state --- they delivered. 5/5 folks If you're ever within 50 miles y'all gotta try the Magic Lamp Inn. This place Slaps.

This place exceeded my expectations! I first learned about it on Instagram and the pictures didn’t do it justice, first thing I notice was the fireplace and the decors. Filet mignon was amazing melted in your mouth , we had the mushrooms, and lobster Mac all phenomenal! The ambience very nice with LIVE saxophone playing , and espresso martinis are so delicious.

This place was so great!! It felt like walking back in time. It was upscale service, food, and atmosphere. Anna was SO nice when she greeted us, it was like we were old friends. Ella served us, quickly, efficiently, she was so so sweet! Louis was ever present filling water, bringing us our bread, clearing a plate if it was in the way! Also we had the pleasure of getting to listen to Wendy sing! She made the atmosphere! It was fun and playful, but classy and she was just so sweet. She asked people what they were celebrating. At some point, she had heard from maybe Anna or Ella that it was our first time there and so she made a point to welcome us!! She sang happy birthday to someone. Such a fun night! Oh there was food too. It was delish! I had Seared Sea Scallops with asparagus and some truffle mashed potatoes and French onion soup. It was all so good. This place is a must if you're in the area!

1st timer, lived in Rancho Cucamonga for the majority of my life. OMG 😲! Probably the MOST amazing flavors I've ever had in my life. Rack of lamb with the mint juleb is out of this world. Truly the craziest combination of flavors that culminate in a culinary explosion of magnificence. As wordy as that is... if your a foodie like me, just try it, and tell me if I'm wrong. 2 hrs, fancy dress code, & NOT cheap. And a special guest appearance by Elvis himself (lol). But... super worth the experience. Letty, our server, nailed it. Thank you magic lamp, for making our special day REALLY SPECULATOR.

Thank you, Edward for an amazing experience tonight! Great atmosphere, amazing food and drinks. Could not have asked for a better place to spend a Friday night. The steak was cooked to perfection. The filet bruschetta was phenomenal. Edward recommended the Baklava dessert, which blew us away. The young man singing during our dinner had such an amazing voice. The magician was fantastic. Edward really made sure we had a 5 star experience, and we truly appreciate his hospitality! We will definitely be back.

The hospitality, live music, and ambiance at The Magic Lamp Inn is wonderful. I especially enjoyed their garden out back where you can lounge, enjoy a drink, and hear some tunes. The food was amazing. I had the Chilean Sea Bass was probably the most flavorable fish I’ve had. Will definitely come again

This place is amazing inside and out. From the moment we walked through the doors we were greeted by friendly hosts. The food is amazing and delicious. Their wine selection is great as well. Desserts are scrumptious. Our waitress Amy was exceptional and the manager Edward was extremely friendly. The manager walked around making sure our meals and food were exactly what we asked for. Overall this place is definitely worth trying and should be on your bucket list. As a foodie that drives everywhere for a great meal....this is a great place to eat and go on a date. They also had live music which was a plus for me. Apparently they have live music everyday from 6pm to 9pm. We listened to jazz in the background mostly Frank Sinatra songs which I love love. I had the filet mignon which I highly recommend and my fiancé had lobster tail which was delicious. The ambience is nostalgic similar to the swing era. Definitely coming back.

What an amazing experience! I am still in awe ! First of all, the place is GORGEOUS! So warm and cozy and elegant. Was greeted immediately by the hostess. We waited at the bar while they set up our table. Drinks were great. We were celebrating our anniversary and they put balloons at our table. I loved that! We got some bread and a relish plate. DELICIOUS! I ordered the prime rib and it came with creamed corn and sautéed spinach. I shared a side of mashed potatoes with my husband. The food was absolutely amazing!!!! Edward, I believe the manager, came around to chat it up with us. Super funny and I felt appreciated as a guest. The chef also came around to see if we were enjoying the food! Who does that nowadays? I felt like royalty there! The live music was amazing!!!! He sung all my favorite Sinatra songs! There was also a magician! He was so sweet and we were amazed. I definitely plan to go back in the near future. What an amazing anniversary we had.

Our first time here since the renovation. Great atmosphere, food and the entertainment is amazing. We had the pleasure of seeing the Frank Sinatra tribute singer. He’s wonderful. Our server Tristan was very attentive to our needs. We were told he is new but we would have never guessed by his service. Definitely will return! Recommend for all to try.

My husband took me here for a date night, and it was absolutely enchanting. The interior feels like a blend of Beauty and the Beast elegance and cozy cabin charm, with decor that’s simply delightful. So glad The Magic Lamp has reopened & it is BEAUTIFUL! The restaurant is just gorgeous, still keeping with the traditional look, but everything is shiny and new. Very comfortable seats too. Service was great and the cocktails are perfectly balanced. Filet Mignon was cooked to perfection. Would definitely recommend for any occasion, the bar is beautiful as well, let's continue to support and keep our small businesses around, especially when they have such great history

Check out the Magic Garden at the back of the Magic Lamp. Still upscale but more of a casual feel. Enjoy some cocktails and smaller bites here! We had the tuna tower, and the pork belly and both were delicious. Taylor was our server, she was friendly and cheerful. We will definitely be back to enjoy an evening out in the Magic Garden!!

Wonderful atmosphere with soft live guitar playing added a special touch to our anniversary celebration. Our waitress Ella was outstanding and the food was incredible.

First time back in a few years. The updates are great! The food and drinks were spectacular. Rack of lamb, and sea bass for main courses. Edward, the owner, checked on us to make sure we were happy and our server Alfonso was top notch. We’ll be back for sure and more often!!

First time at the Magic Lamp and this will not be my last! Service was incredible, food was fantastic, and cocktails were some of the best I’ve ever had. The salmon and filet were tender and delicious. The golden hour martini is what dreams are made of! Looking forward to my next visit already. Cheers!

When I was 10 years old, I had dinner at this restaurant with my parents, and I was in awe of the elegance and atmosphere. 60 years later I returned to this magical place and I wasn’t disappointed. I was afraid that seeing this restaurant once again through adult eyes would be a letdown, but there was no need to worry about that! The decor and the atmosphere are truly magical. The service is top-notch. We started our evening with a cocktail at the bar then were quickly seated for dinner. Rebecca was our server and made us feel like we were her top priority. We met Edward, one of the managers, and he stopped by our table twice to make sure we were enjoying our dinner. While we dined we were entertained by Wendy who sang a variety of classics, adding to the vintage steakhouse vibe. Our meal was perfect. I can rarely say that about a meal, but it was true perfection. My son and I shared the prawns and we were blown away by the size of those prawns! I had French Onion soup and it had such a depth of flavor. For the entree we each had the filet mignon. That was honestly the BEST steak I have ever had in my life. I wanted to celebrate my 70th birthday here and I’m so glad I did. My only regret is that it took me so long to return to this fabulous restaurant.

Just an utterly spectacular experience! The atmosphere was MAGICAL, the music was nostalgic, and the food was DIVINE!!! I had the Surf & Turf, my wife had the Prime Rib, my son had the Lamb, my mom had the Chilean Sea Bass, my niece had the Salmon and my mother in law had the Pasta Primavera, and each dish was exceptional to sublime!!! We will be coming back!!! The only room for improvement: the music is just a bit too loud; but Nick is fantastic and I bought his CD 💿!!!

I came here tonight for my birthday and I was incredibly impressed with the service and cocktails. The atmosphere is absolutely breathtaking. Please come and try this amazing one of a kind place! Rebecca was our server and she was the absolute BEST!!! So sweet and kind and a fun time!! Taylor was an amazing bartender. They’re a perfect duo!!

If you haven’t been to Magic Lamp Inn since they reopened, I highly recommend that you try it! It’s under new ownership and has been completely remodeled. They have live music every night, the food and service is excellent, and the atmosphere is very pretty! It’s my new favorite local place to fine dine! The manager also informed us that they have a magician from the Magic Castle that comes every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night and performs Magic tricks at each table. Also, they have a new beautiful patio for outdoor dining this summer!! ❤️

And tonight, my end of weekend escape. A quick bite and some great cocktails. Always a great experience, always greeted with a "welcome back." Taylor, behind the bar, is attentive, friendly and professional. Magic Lamp is my perfect, quiet, reset and have a cocktail location. The filet mignon sliders are delicious! The lobster roll has a bit of a kick, but delicious as well! The craft cocktails are top notch!

I had cucumber/Jalepeno at the bar … It was amazing and the staff there was very open to all of us. We waited for 10 min for table. I ordered the Shrimp Bisque the best I have ever had. Our waiter Mr Alfonso helped us in our Decision to make our dinner extra special. The Chef Pedro came to make sure our dinner was up to our expectations. Us four friends get together once a month to try many steak dinner places and The Magic Lamp Rancho Cucamonga we rate as number #1compared to many. Brought here for my birthday and it exceeded all expectations. Amazing service, food was exceptional, atmosphere was special and the night was just fantastic. We had the holiday spiced pear sour cocktail, Hugo spritz, old fashion, and French 75. All were great. Livee music was loud enough you heard every word but soft enough that you could still have an intimate conversation without raising your voice or straining to hear. 11 out of 10 I'd recommend

An incredible experience! I came with two friends to celebrate my birthday, and everything exceeded expectations. The food was fantastic, and we loved the entertainment - a tableside magician and an Elvis impersonator. We loved our time here and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a magical evening.

My husband and I had our wedding reception here during Covid. Sadly at the time it seemed like its glory days were over, but tonight we came back to celebrate our five year anniversary and I was overjoyed to see it had been restored to its original beauty. Every detail from the backlit menus, live music, and food were incredible. This place is so special and it’s amazing to see it is being cared for the way it deserves.

We met an old friend at the Magic Lamp Inn on old Route 66 in Rancho Cucamonga. We stepped back in time to a beautifully decorated rat pack inspired gem. I love their neon sign and table side saxophone player. Food was really good too! Definitely worth a stop. It was also very clean which I didn’t expect from an establishment that has been around so long.

Overall, I give this place a 4/5. The atmosphere was very cozy and nice. I liked how they try to keep the old fashion atmosphere. The live singer does really add that extra charm. I will say the service was a bit slow. It took 30 minutes to get complimentary bread. Our server took a while to get to us so when she finally did we ordered everything we wanted because we didn’t know if the time lag was going to be all of service. It was, all night our server was very slow pace. Everything took her just a little longer than most. She did not really table touch. I was there for 2 hours and 15 minutes, she table touched 1 time. I ordered a margarita and she never asked if I wanted another. I wish that was different. My favorite dish was the shrimp bisque. It was very tasty, but I will say it came out lukewarm not hot. I would have changed that about the soup. The scallops were tasty, but I feel like more needs to come on the plate. It looked very little in comparison because there’s only 4 scallops and 4 pieces of asparagus. That’s it. We ordered the lobster Mac n cheese, same thing was lukewarm. I don’t believe it’s worth the $24 because there’s hardly any lobster. The lobster didn’t give it any extra flavor and the presentation wasn’t good. They just threw a small piece on top of the Mac. I had the steak and I had no complaints. It was very tasteful. The Brussel sprouts needed just a bit more salt. Cheesecake was very rich, the crust was great. Overall, I would come back with people who haven’t been here just so they could experience, but not somewhere i would frequent.

Brought a family member here to celebrate there 50th b-day, we had a wonderful time! Loved the live entertainment it was awesome to hear Old blue eyes & Dean Martin songs sung live. The only complaint I have is I had a reservation & still had to wait 10-15 mins to be seated, also a party of 8 walked in after me & got seated before my party. It was also not a busy night with plenty of tables open so I couldn't understand why we got skipped if we had a reservation & we were on time.

What a great night! The maitre D was very attentive and checked up on us a few times to make sure we were doing okay. The food is delicious and the music/ambiance was perfect! Also, my old fashion drink did not disappoint. I would give it full 5 starts but the food took a while to come out. And while we were waiting to be seated at the bar, the bartender never got to us. We were there for 15mins and there were only 2 other people there who already had their drinks. Overall though, a great experience and I plan on going back!
