Excellent service, very good food and generous portions, everyone was very kind and welcoming! Tables with panoramic views! Everything was delicious, from the Toma Gratinata with lard, honey, and walnuts, to the fries with fondue! Three types of polenta, a platter of excellent local cured meats and cheeses, strudel, and blueberry cake to finish... we'll definitely be back!

I was pleasantly surprised by the opportunity to grab some excellent food. The platters were excellent, and the pintas sandwich was highly recommended. They also sell beers, coffee, and various other drinks. Obviously, since it's a refuge, don't expect a selection comparable to a restaurant. Despite the crowds, the service was super fast, the staff was super friendly, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. We even met groups celebrating birthdays there.

Excellent location just below Colle delle Finestre. The Refuge has a large availability of tables equipped with umbrellas for the sun. Excellent cuisine and if you want you can have delicious sandwiches prepared to take away and eat during the excursion. Very kind and helpful staff, it is possible to park your car in front of the Refuge where there is a large parking lot.

Incredible little place with amazing food. Anyone riding the TNR should make this a definite pitstop and fill up on polenta and cheese! Stunning views, great fresh and local food and all plastic-free.

Quasi al trivio per il colle delle fiestre e quello per pra catinat/ fenestrelle e quello per l’assietta (valle di sauze d’oulx e sestriere).La domenica meglio prenotare. Piatti della tradizione valsusina: taglieri di salumi, formaggi di alpeggio panini di tutti i tipi. Si ordina e paga alla cassa e si ritira al self service.Buona la qualità. Personale cortese. Location ottima per escursioni a piedi ed in bicicletta. Da provare assolutamente.

Beautiful place, strategically located whether you're walking along Colle delle Finestre or Assietta, or vice versa. You have to walk right past it because it's between the end of one and the beginning of the other. I can only rate the desserts, gelato, and coffee, since I only tried those, all three were excellent (both the cakes and gelato are homemade). There are tables both in the sun and under a canopy, water is always available from a fountain, and I also offer dishes accompanied by polenta, platters, cheeses, etc. There's no table service; you just order it and then sit down. A must-visit, I highly recommend it 🔝🔝👍👏👏

Meriterebbe più stelle per l'ottimo cibo ma i prezzi troppo alti rispetto alle porzioni scarse penalizzano il giudizio, in un rifugio a quel prezzo (15€ un piattino di polenta con fonduta) non va bene. Prezzo da ristorante ma non c'è il servizio.. Peccato perdersi in un cucchiaio di polenta...
