Easy off/on the freeway from here with turn lanes that can accommodate larger RVs. The church parking lot directly next door is typically empty if there is not a service happening and we had no problems parking there. Food was right on par with what you expect from DQ: fresh, tasted good, reasonable value. Service was very good.

The Sevice was very friendly, professional, and fast and the food exceeded expectations. The burgers, blizzard, and fries were soooo good! We went on a Sunday afternoon with some friends you had never been to DQ and they are now big fans. Thanks!

Royal cheesecake blizzard was delicious. Inside was amazing to me. I remember the tables in DQ. This place had booths to sit at. Very nice and clean. Amazed at the updated interior. Staff was very nice also.

It's a Dairy Queen what's not to like. Had lots of ice cream treats at the Dairy Queen in the small town of Falmouth Massachusetts back in the 60's. There aren't many in California that I've seen. We ran across this Vacaville location recently and we like it. You can order and pay then take a seat and they'll bring it to you. There's something special about the taste and consistency of Dairy Queen's ice cream, really good stuff.

Best $7 I ever spent on a meal!! My cheeseburger was so fresh and juicy and delicious. The fries are easily in my top 5 fast food favorites when it comes to French fries. My blizzard was heavenly, as all blizzards I've had in the past! You can't go wrong with one of those, in my opinion. The drive through service was fairly slow but well worth the wait to me!

Awesome! Been here a few times and its always been good. The chicken strips are so good and tender. Curious about their Cheese Curds? They're like bite sized cheese sticks, yummy. Ice cream is very creamy. Definitely recommend.

Honestly had a good experience here. We travel to Tahoe often and sometimes stop in Vacaville so kids can stretch their legs. Our kids are 5 and 3. Dairy Queen paired with a stop by Andrew’s Park down the road was a huge hit. Service was fantastic. They brought the food right up to the table and made some great recommendations. The people working here are all lovely and greeted us warmly. I just think this is the cutest DQ.

Excellent customer service!!! Very prompt and quick to take the order and to deliver the food at the table. No waiting at all on orders. Their hamburgers are very delicious and taste very good. The best Blizzards my family and I have ever had. At other DQs one of us will usually get one that's not filled with toppings or mixed well, but all of us got well stocked Blizzards and the staff was quick and nice! I was just passing through this town, but I'll stop again next time I'm in the area.

I was craving a cotton candy blizzard. The drive thru had a few cars so I decided to go in. Chris was at the register helping another guest. When it was my turn to order he was super friendly and had a great personality. He was very personable and had great customer service! And the Blizzard is amazing!

We go here for the chocolate dipped cone. What is not to like about a cone of soft vanilla ice cream, dipped in chocolate. There is the satisfying crunch when you bite into the chocolate shell, followed by the ever enjoyable soft ice cream. Perhaps the ice cream could be a bit creamer and the cone is, well just a very simple cone.

We ordered 4 Blizzards and they were excellent as usual. The only downside was a somewhat long wait to get those Blizzards. The drive up line was long and they were focused on it.

Excellent chicken strips, crispy chicken sandwiches, and burgers. The orange julius is a tasty change to the traditional soda drink. The only drawback is the fries are under-cooked and as a result get very hard if you don't eat them immediately. Problematic if you are getting food through the drive thru and live more than 5 minutes away.

Good old fashion American food. With delicious burgers, fries, and ice cream. You can't go wrong this guilty pleasure. The Vacaville location has never done my order wrong at least.

The Caramel Cannonball blizzard was fabulous - lots of candy chunks all the way through. The Brownie Dough blizzard was good - could have used more chocolate. The Triple Berry Cheesecake was ok but not much cheesecake. We really enjoyed the onion rings as a precursor to our blizzards.

Depends ... We were out Shopping, and needed some refreshments/other so decided to stop at DQ. Ordered a 4pc Chicken Tender Basket, and 2 Small "Blizzard" drinks. We ordered inside for take-out, not the drive-thru. Pros - - Employees were friendly, and helpful. - Items were made to order. - Even ordering the Small "Blizzard" drinks have plenty of quality ingredients, and were tasty. - The Chicken Tenders and Fries weren't greasy. - The Tenders didn't have excessive breading, and were moist & tender. Note - DQ offers dipping sauces, but we choose to eat them plain. Cons - Fries were a little on the salty side. Note - Would we visit again ? Yes ... We stop here from time to time.

Stopped on the way home for a Oreo Blizzard. Cookies were fresh; no complaints. The location is right off the highway if you are heading East on Highway 80, clean and staffed by friendly people. Looks to be fairly new.

This is a regular stop off the freeway on the way home from the casino for me. the tricky part is finding it, not sure who designed the streets in this area, it's easy to take the wrong street once you see the building, wait till you see the street sign before turning. getting back on the freeway is also a little challenging, you need a map program to find the 80-West on ramp, poor signage. this is a big DQ, lots of seating inside and out and also a drive thru (the only one in the area I'm aware of). they serve hot food too, but never had it here, just the Blizzards which are delicious. sad to see the size of the large cup has got smaller but I guess that is the way everything is these days. the inside of the place was freezing, it was so cold I ate the blizzard on the way home in the car. it will continue to be a regular stop for me, nothing like a Blizzard!

Staff seemed to know their product well. Each item was made to perfection. The fried cheese curds were perfectly bowned with signs of being overcooked. The maple cookie shake had the exact amount of cookies to add texture without the feeling of there being no texture or overwhelmed by cookies. It had the smooth texture of the soft serve made a bit smoother with some whipped cream balanced by the soft cookies and the little crunch of their sugar crystals. The pumpkin pie blizzard was also pretty amazing, though I'd suggest the DQ food chemists swap out the sour ingredient. (I've tasted it in a competitor's pumpkin pie milkshake before and it is a bit distracting. I'm sure it's there as a preservative, but there has to be another option! I've never had a store bought pumpkin pie that tasted sour. It makes one wonder if these are last year's pies or something! Service was dinged a bit because they were so busy with the drive-through that it took them awhile to take care of customers in the front. That being said, they were very friendly and helpful when they arrived. Also, Atmosphere isn't that great. The place is definitely not designed for a long sit down meal. The seats are hard. I'm not sure they even had music on. It wasn't uncomfortable per se, just not the cozy type of place that would make you want to write home about...or hang out for very long. (It's a fast food place, so understandably they don't want their dining room cluttered with long-term guests. My overall impression is that they do a good job, the food is good, and this is a great place to go through the drive-through or stop for a quick bite to eat.

Took a little while but I think they may have been understaffed. Didn't give me my blizzard upside down but that's not as big of a deal as the fact that i asked for ranch to go with my chicken strips and cheese curds and no receipt. But food was decent as was friendliness.

I had craving for a blizzard, so my son and I came in on a Sunday afternoon for a quick lunch and blizzard. This location right off I-80 freeway off Davis Street in Vacaville. They have a drive-thru, so you have the option of dining in or go through the drive-thru if you are on the go. They have both indoor and outdoor dining areas with ample parking. I got the Epic Deal ($7) which included a burger (or chicken strips), fries, fountain drink and sundae (upgrade to blizzard for $2 more). I upgraded to the blizzard (Superman Cake Batter Cookie Dough). My son got the Double Cheese Deluxe Stackburger, small Onion Ring and small Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough blizzard. My son said the burgers are very similar to McDonald’s burgers in taste and size. I remember when I was a kid, DQ burgers were much better, but the quality sure has gone down for the cost. The fries were decent as were the onion rings (a little pricy for small onion rings). The blizzards were good. Employees were all very nice and attentive. Our order came out in a timely manner, but I was a little disappointed that the blizzard came out before the main meal, so I was 1/2 done with the blizzard by the time the main meal came out. I wish there was a way to postpone the blizzard until I was closer to finishing the main meal, so the blizzard was not 1/2 melted by the time I finished my meal. Overall for the price and lack of quality of the food items, I would probably only come back for the blizzards only.

I got the small pumpkin pie blizzard and my bf got the $7 meal deal with the cheese burger, fries, a soda, and upgraded his sunday to a reeses pieces cookie dough blizzard. The blizzards are really good and a small is like a size medium.

Very disappointed they got rid of the cotton candy blizzard. Should bring it back.

Long line amd slow service. The vanilla ice cream cup was solid as if the ice cream was rock hard instead of a soft serve like I ordered.

ice cream is standard dq, other menu items are bad. they put the bathroom right in the middle of the establishment when they were building it, so the eating area/lobby smells like a sorta clean public bathroom

Covid is ruining the quality of restaurants. Nothing but children running stores is a no no.. they are careless and have no integrity for good quality. Blizzards are okay but not how they are advertised. Messed up my order and BOTH blizzards were basically liquid ice cream. So disappointed. Hopefully quality goes back to what it used to be. But three stars for rectifying the incorrect order and taste was there. But the remake was sloppy and not complete.

Cheese curds on point and mostly why I go there now. Love blizzards, but find theirs lacking as they never put in enough of the tidbits and never blend all the way down so when you get half through your just eating plain vanilla soft serve. I've also often ordered and don't mind playing for extra add ins which either they don't put in or they put so little of them and then lessen the amount of the main add ins. I'm paying for what's supposed to be there and paying extra for more and I shouldn't be getting less tidbits than if I didn't special request.

Burger was microwaved and fries were cold. Oreo Mint shake was pretty good, not as thick as one would like but it was good. Disappointed in the Burger, both mines and my lady's.

I was happy with the quick, friendly service. I was disappointed with the fries. Been driving all day and night, I was craving for hot french fries. My kid was craving for those hand dip softees. We get to the drive thru around 9:30 pm. The place is dark like driving into a tunnel dark. The shady trees are great during the day but at night, it was creepy. Attn Manager: improve your lighting for safety and so your customers can see you. Also the ice cream machine was not working and there was no vanilla. My kid's only choice was a chocolate blizzard which didn't disappoint. I paid for my fries and in my excitement (and wanting to leave that dark place), I left without getting my ATM card back. So I parked, hopped out and ran in. The male cashier was apologetic for not handing the card back to me and I saw that he secured it in the office. Kudos to him 😊 So about the fries, we were already back on the freeway when we realized the newly cooked french fries were mixed with mostly old stale fries. Not good at all. I know it's just fries but when you are driving all day and you want to satisfy that craving. You gotta have what's advertised. And old fries just won't do it. Am not expecting Michelin star food or service, I just want hot freshly cooked fries.

The general food that you get there is only ok. You can get better quality stuff across the street from sonic or just any other fast food place. The main draw of the place is the ice cream of course, which they do reasonably well. My main issue with it currently is how expensive it's getting. One large blizzard was 7 bucks which is asking a lot for a dessert.

It was a cold winter night I had been driving for hours and hours in search for a good burger 🍔 I was going through Vacaville so i decided to stop at Dairy Queen Grill & Chill and ordered some food the wait was not long .....

They got two Stars only because they were quick in the Drive-Thru. Friendly customer service was lacking from the gal at the drive-thru and I ordered an Oreo blizzard which had barely any cookies in it. I'll be driving to the one in Fairfield from now on.

The burgers tasted like chemicals. Not like poison, but like food grade chemicals. I spit out and threw it in the trash. The ice cream isn't really ice cream. Will not be going back.

I traveled 23 miles to this location due to the fact Dairy Queen's are few and far. So I expected a better quality of ice cream for my family. Wrong! Due to covid of course, the doors are closed so drive-thru is your only option. The ordering seem to be difficult because reapting three x's is excessive for a simple ice cream order. You arrive at the window and are handed one order dripping with no napkins. Really? We waited for the other two orders more then we should have...why? We could see through the window four employees (I assume employees) were on their cell phones laughing and ignoring the paying customers! Only one young lady waited on us, hence the delay with our order. The second order was also dripping and the third. We had to ask for extra napkins and our receipt. Never again. It appears that fast food/ice cream service since covid sucks everywhere. Stay home cook or visit large establishments that deserve our orders to survive during this time.

DQ Managers, DQ is my go to. Today I ordered 5 burgers via Door Dash and I customized every burger to include specific toppings. Every burger was made incorrectly, which means that your workers didn't make the appropriate effort to ensure customer satisfaction. Please do better.

My boys and myself live DQs' sandwiches and ice cream and of course the food was good here but the place was super dirty (including restroom) and messy. I don't know why they wouldn't care about the store at all.

I love all things ice cream... Especially Blizzards. This location needs proper management. On many occasions they are out of items necessary to complete an order. Today we were told there weren't any bananas. So, because we drove out of our way on a hot day we decided to order a Banana Split Blizzard (our household favorite) but without the bananas?!? What we received was a strawberry shake. The store smells like raw sewage which does NOT pair well with any food item no matter how you approach it. The workers are making an effort, looks like they simply need better management who actually cares about customer experience. Very disappointed.

Me, wife and 5 kids - 11, 8, 2, 1, and 3 weeks old yes a Little Baby... we are hungry. asked if our order is to go... I said nope. we are going to eat here.. cue eye roll... says they are closing in 15 minutes inside. I said ok. Ordered and sat waiting. all food brought in a few bags - "to go" style. Wife now uncomfortable. I ask for some condiments so we can just go sit outside and eat. Clerk says "I'm not trying to stay later i want to go home so thanks" and can i get you anything else. Just the condiments please. She brings to us outside and again asks if we need anything else. Nope we are good. Open bags... gravy containers are open and spilled all over 1 bags contents. Next bag - daughter ordered DOUBLE cheese burger - actually i had to repeat 3 times. Guess what we didn't get.. yup got a regular cheese burger. Start eating as we shake our heads.. It is nice out mid 70's. we got this... Boom... Out go the lights outside.. Really?!? guess its time for a romantic dinner with kids. 😍😍😍 Maybe change sign to say you need to be out the door by 10??? IDK but not happy. Sure we will laugh about this later... by the way.. if you need salt or ketchup or mustard.. Hit me up.. I've got lots! lmao

I did not enjoy eating at DQ. I was traveling with the Legendary Son's of Salvation Gospel Singers of Sacramento California. We performed at the American Singers Association's National Conference in Oakland, California and on our way home back to Sacramento we stopped at DQ. BIG MISTAKE!!!!!! I WILL NEVER EAT AT A DQ AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When their Television commercial comes on I turn the channel!!!!

After getting dried out, tepid burgers 3 or 4 times I have finally given up on this DQ. I had given it a 5 star review before, but it no longer serves hot and tasty food.

Asked for a chocolate cheesecake blizzard. Got to the window and it was a strawberry cheesecake. I told the guy it was supposed to be choc cheesecake. He took it back and brought back and said it was now choc cheesecake. Pulled out and decided to see if there were any pieces. Nope. It was blended and white! Got back I line told the hotel what i had ordered, she said she was the one that fixed it and did it correctly. I said it was white, vanilla. She said she used chocolate sauce and blended it. Again i said it was not right, there werent even any chunks. Again she said she made it correctly. I left. Won't be back.

horrible! First off my bread wasn't even toasted, then my fries were cold and last my chicken tenders were cold and tasted old. And I love DQ which made it even more worse because I hadn't had it in a long time. First time in Cali....never again at this location though.

Worst service. No one called out the number orders for food or blizzards. All employees pointed at customers to tell employees who ordered what. No one was at the cash register for about 5 minutes. Service was slow and the Blizzards were not offered correctly by being turned upside down. Mine and my fiances were all runny. Again worst service I had. Not satisfied at all.

It was just awful. Soggy.Sat in the window for a while before pick up and I was on time. The girls were yelling to someone else that a customer had come in. Playing on phones one girl was Flippin a crock around with her foot Not even caring if anyone can see. ONE GIRL seemed annoyed with them. She is who helped me. She was absolutely polite. DQ Managers, Ordered twice in 1 week and both orders were wrong. Went back to DQ, walked into the building, asked them to fix my order and watched every single worker do their job with their masks NOT covering their mouths, cursing at each other, just to get my order wrong, again.

I splurge $9 for a Combo Meal because I love the chicken sandwiches and their bbq sauce. I ask for as many BBQ sauces as I can get. 1. “You can get 1. Then you have to pay for the rest.” While paying $9 for a combo they want you to pay extra for even 1 more BBQ. The manager here is worthless and lost a customer.

Literally just pulled off from the Vacaville parking lot. Wanted to experience DQ for the first time being that in Richmond Ca this is the closest one. All I have to say is that I’ll never even think about going to DQ ever again. Food quality is trash! Goodbye

Employees broke several health code violations as well as neglected to follow COVID guidelines. -Cashier was eating fries and a blizzard behind the register. He ate a fry, took our order, then proceeded to hand me a cup by grabbing it by the rim with an ungloved hand. Cups should never be grabbed by the lid rim. -Line cook was eating while cooking an order -Window attendant was on her personal cell phone that she kept grabbing out of her back pocket -No employee was wearing masks -Cashier stepped out from behind the plexiglass barrier to stand next to a customer and discuss their order. No social distancing was practiced. Not following COVID regulations is one thing. But breaking health code violations such as eating while cooking and touching customer food is not ok.

Today on 5-10-2022, I received 4 of the worse blizzards ever. Watery, hardly no nuts, etc... and they put lids on all 4 of them. So they didn't even turn one upside down. Unbelievable, just a horrible experience, especially for the price they are these days.😠

Was kinda dissatisfied on all counts. In their defense they were busy but our blizzard never got turned over. One of the items was completely the wrong flavor. All the topping were on top so less than half way down there was nothing other than vanilla and the Sprite was flat. Needless to say my $16 will be sent elsewhere next time.

Only person in line tonight. Ordered 1 chicken strip meal, a hamburger and blizzard. $17. The girl working forgot our sauce for the chicken strips and didn’t mix the blizzard. All the toppings were unmixed in the middle. Chicken and fries were nearly cold (Let’s hope I don’t get sick from improper food handling). I don’t expect much from fast food but you may want to look into hiring employees who care just a little…Can’t wait for my copy and paste reply from management about how you’re sorry my experience wasn’t what I hoped for and that you hope I return soon. Very disappointed in the service. I went threw the Drive thru on Wednesday night after my sons graduation with all my kids and was very excited to all have a shake. Lisa was working the drive thru and when handing me my first shake which was mine, she handed it to me overflowing it was very messy i asked her if she can give me a napkin with every shake but that didn't happen. I was over all disappointed with all our shakes they seemed very melted. I also had to walk back in because they didn't give me a receipt.

My family and I were ignored at the counter for about 45 seconds despite 4 employees seeing us. I finally said, " Can I please have the restroom key?" (My family was going to remain at the counter to order.) The employee said, "I'm cleaning the bathroom, other people want to use it too." 😳 I said, "Well can we order?" He said, " After I clean the bathroom." None of the other 3 employees acknowledged or offered assistance. I was SHOCKED. We left.

Your Vacaville location has terrible customer service. The girl at the drive up window never said a word to me. My husband got a thin mint blizzard I got the brownie batter . Both blizzards tasted like mostly vanilla ice cream. Didn’t look anything like picture. Thats the second this has happened. With service like that you’ll lose business. Totally unexceptable.

I usually never post reviews but I couldn’t help it this time. With quarantine going on and covid-19, a lot of birthday’s are not being celebrated with friends and I saw this cake as the perfect pick me up if you will. I placed the order over the phone as well. This is my 3rd year ordering a cake from this location in this is by far the worst cake I or my family have ever received from here. It wasn’t anything like I asked or described and the writing was just terrible. Now I’m off to fix this cake for my 15th birthday tomorrow.

Wanted to get a treat for my family while on a road trip. Never have I had worse customer service. None of the blizzards were turned over, employees had no idea what flavors of milkshakes were offered, or the sizes available. The long haired girl in the kitchen kept running her fingers thru her hair. My order was made wrong, it took a gathering of four employees hovering and poking about in my blizzards to finally agree that they didn't make the right flavors, before they would agree to make the right ones. I was the only customer in the store and everyone reeked of marijuana. Will not be back.

Service is usually ok but I brought my son through the drive through for a chicken strip meal and blizzard. The blizzard was the limited patriotic style, with all the “fairy dust” being dumped in the drive through when the employee flipped it upside down. By the time I drove around and parked in the parking lot it was already a drippy mess. The worker had not only forgotten a spoon but he also forgot to give us napkins. Just handed the bag of chicken and fries to me and quickly shut the window. Luckily I had napkins and a plastic fork in the car so my son could quickly try to start eating the blizzard before it dripped all over the car interior. What a mess! My son wasn’t too pleased with his meal. Not the usual that he expected. I hope they train the workers to give customers their utensils, napkins and ask if they need anything before driving away. Very disappointing. I will not order food here for myself because I always have a bad stomach reaction to it. My son enjoys it most other times.

Currently it is 1/7/26, went there 3 weeks ago. It 100% smelled like raw sewage. Wife and I immediately lost our appetites.

How To Be A Good Human

First of all when I walked in at 707 when the app said my ice cream was ready and to come inside the store, the smell was disgusting! Then the manager couldn’t find my order went to drive through and brought it over. One of the ice creams was vanilla even though I asked for chocolate. He tried to argue with me about them finally fixed it. Get to the car and the blizzards that are supposed to be handed to you upside down were MELTED!!!!! Made a mess all over the back seat!!! I refuse to come back. Shitty service and food. 0/10 do not recommend.

THIS is what I paid $11 for? Not EIGHT but SEVEN. Chicken bites? THAT ARE SO TINY?! & the french fries. BRUH. I can literally see the bottom of the box. I didn’t order off the kids meal? & my drink is not full either. There are more than enough workers in there to make sure my box was filled properly LOL. GET IT TOGETHER DAIRY QUEEN. No wonder so many are closing down SHAKE MY HEAD. so disappointed I spelled it out for you. The chicken is WAY overcooked & the ranch is not even half full…… & no i havent even dipped it yet. Nothing tasted like it should have. The drink was salty, the fries were gross & the chicken was plain.
