At the end of our 8 days in Valencia, we were very pleased to have chosen Bodega La Rentaora for our final Valèncian meal, but regretted not finding this little local gem earlier. We thought that our very tasty lunch of 3 glasses of a good Spanish red wine made from the bobal grape and 5 tapas—pork with vegetables, flaming small sausages that arrived en flambé at our table, an open-faced sandwich on gluten-free bread, a very large salad, and a portion of good gluten-free bread—was reasonably priced for the quality. My coeliac wife greatly appreciated the good gluten-free bread and good range of gluten-free options. In addition, the service was very friendly and very helpful. Our waitress even brought us complimentary glasses of mistral, a sweet Valencian wine-based liqueur. We paid 36 euros not including tip) for our lovely meal and left very happy. We thoroughly loved our lunch here.

Amazing little bodega with great food and friendly service. Particularly the goat cheese with chutney and walnuts was spectacular, but also the chorizo and the Manchego were outstanding. If you can - make a reservation, as this place gets quite busy. You have options inside and outside. As almost everywhere in Valencia, card payment is possible.

Very small place but cute! The place was very busy but the service was extremely friendly. We enjoyed tapas and the grilled goat cheese was outstanding. Definitely recommend but better to make a reservation if you don’t wanna wait or sit outside.

We had two attempts to get into this place, and the second time we succeeded! the girls are very friendly, the appetizers are super tasty - the brie cheese fondue is something incredible! at the end they brought us a shot of local wine - mistela, which was a pleasant surprise! an authentic place worth paying attention to! Definitely recommend ❤️

What can’t be said about this place, the staff was very friendly, the atmosphere was warm and the food was great and freshly made and affordable. The menu is varied, not necessarily your most typical tapas menu but you WILL enjoy it. The desserts are especially delicious.

My family were visiting Valencia and looking to get away from the more touristy Tapas options. So glad we found this place! We were able to grab the last available table on the street and experience what they had to offer. The server was attentive and kind, the food just kept getting better, and the wine was amazing. I will be dreaming about the goat cheese. My hubby is currently obsessed with the sausages and duck dishes. Highly recommend it.

We booked that place for 7:30pm and it was rather empty inside. It’s nice to be the first customers 😎 we were a bit reluctant at first, seeing all the negative comments, but we were rather left happy with our experience. Here is why: 1. The prices were reasonable. We ordered many dishes including: manchego cheese, choricillos, iberico mixed plate, toast cream cheese and dried tomatoes, toast with serrano ham and brie cheese, their homemade brownie + sodas. The total was 37 euros and we were full. 2. It is tasty 🙌. We were so surprised of the food quality, delicious and portion sizes were reasonable for you to enjoy different plates. The biggest surprise was how flavourful the choricillos was, bathing in flamed wine. Tasty!!! On the other side, the iberico mix was a flop, do not order it… their brownie was warm and delicious. 3. Because of the culture differences, 7:30pm is rather late for us but we were happy to be their first customers somehow. It was quiet, clean and we saw how the place was filled easily, especially on a Monday. Lastly, I would say as a tip: if you are a foreigner, don’t hesitate to raise your hand and be assertive to order and you’ll spare yourself from being disappointed on why they don’t come to you 😁 Overall: tummy was happy and so was the wallet too!

Amazing little place that we are going to return to before we leave. Highly recommend reserving a table as they were turning loads of people away. Great, friendly service. Food delicious from start to finish. We actually had to cancel our last 3 dishes as we were so full, hence coming back. Baked brie and jam was the best I've ever had, aubergine dip delicious and the tuna salad super fresh and tasty. 100% recommend.

The owner of a coffee shop recommended this tapas place and she was right. I went solo and had a nice table inside (the last non reserved one) It fills up fast so either go very early or book. Anyway they are very accommodating so they will do their best to try and squeeze you in. The atmosphere inside was nice and friendly. The tapas were gorgeous. The most fun was the the sausage that is served literally in flames 🙂 the tastiest was the smoked sardine on tomatoes and toasted bread

Bodega La Rentaora is a delightful tapas experience, perfectly capturing the essence of Spain. The Ronda Salad is a refreshing mix of crisp green, perfect starter for a starter. The Orza Pork, tender and richly flavoured is amazing. The Choricillos sausages, another highlight, is a tasty balance of spice and smokiness. For dessert don’t miss the cheesecake - unbelievably light yet satisfying. With rustic decor, a warm atmosphere and friendly service, Bodega La Rentaora is the ideal spot for enjoying authentic Spanish cuisine.

Pequeña taberna típica de mesas pequeñas y taburetes y con terraza en la calle. Decoración peculiar y vistosa para un local siempre con buen ambiente y servicio continuo de tapas y pequeñas raciones típicas, todo con un pequeño alboroto constante. Todo lo que hemos tomado estaba bueno unas cosas mejores y otras no tanto, pero todo rico. Buen precio, buenas tapas, ambiente desenfadado, rigurosa reserva previa o no accedes porque tienen todo lleno siempre y el local no da para más. Un poco incómodos los taburetes, pero es lo que hay. De esos sitios para cenar de picoteo y desenfadadamente que apetece repetir de vez en cuando.

Un buen Lugar para comer comida tipica de España y tomar una's cervezas o vino. El servicio fue bueno y tambien hablan Ingles. La comida estuvo buena y compartimos cuatro tapas.

Te reciben con una sonrisa, cualquier ensalada que pidas está muy equilibrada y buenísima, cada semana pido algo diferente y todo espectacular, el paté de mejillones y el queso brie impresionantes. Por eso nos hemos hecho asiduos. Muy recomendable.

Hemos ido a cenar, sin reserva pasando por allí y hemos encontrado mesa. Nos han atendido muy bien y muy amables. Nos encantan estos sitios de toda la vida. Hemos picado, chorizó al infierno, montadito de foie, montadito de anchoa y ensaladilla. Tenemos que volver y pedir más cosas para probar. La carta con un par de cositas más quedaría más apañada. De postre, mousse de nocilla y tarta de queso, buenísimos. Me quedo con la ensaladilla y los postres. Vamos a volver. Nos ha gustado mucho.

Está situado en un rinconcito del Carmen. Tienen tapas. Buen sitio para picotear algo. El lomo estaba muy rico ,pero los demás eran normalitos. Una de las camareras no tenía muchas ganas de trabajar. Primero me dijo que me había equivocado con la reserva (obviamente NO). Luego pedí tinto de verano y me trajeron. una copa de vino blanco. Llevábamos ya 2 horas esperando el ultimo plato , tenía que recordar yo al camarero que nos faltaban las gildas.. en fin.. el servicio es muy lento , tardaron 2 horas en traer todos los platos y ni se acuerdan.

Muy decepcionada. Reservamos este sitio por las buenas reseñas que habíamos leído, pero la experiencia no fue para nada lo que esperábamos. Nada más llegar, nos comentan que todo va a ir lento porque están desbordados de trabajo. La terraza estaba vacía debido a la lluvia, y en el interior sobraban dos meses... ¿será que están desbordados por falta de personal? Reservamos para el último turno y pedimos entrantes junto con las tostas para intentar agilizar el servicio, pero cuando estábamos recibiendo los entrantes, nos dicen que la cocina está a punto de cerrar, y que si queríamos pedir algo más, debía ser ya. Acababa de recibir los entrantes, no había visto las tostas, y ya tenía que decidir si eso era suficiente comida?. Además, pedimos 2 brownies que tardaron más tiempo en llegar que toda la cena junta. La verdad, parecía que nos querían despachar desde el minuto uno. Aunque debo decir que la comida estaba muy buena y relación calidad precio muy bueno. Es posible que intente en otra ocasión en otro horario.

Went with a larger group of friends and the food was amazing and so was our main server but when we received the check, we realized within the 2 hour limit we were there that (2) items we ordered never came and the other worker who brought the check was quite disgruntled about us pointing this out. It was pretty insulting because he was calling us liars in front of the entire restaurant and made us pay for (1) of the items anyways even though we explained how unfair it was; I can imagine treating university students like this but we're adults 30s to 50s. We were having a great time until this happened, night totally went downhill because of it. Go there for the food and atmosphere; don't expect to be treated fairly.

La calidad ha bajado mucho. Para reservar exigen todo tipo de problemas y requisitos. El personal totalmente inflexible. Ninguna capacidad de adaptación al cliente. Y aunque esté vacío y quieres tomarte una cerveza te dirán que no puede ser porque esta todo para cenas, aunque sean las 19:30. Un local muy antipático.
