Estuvimos el viernes, hacia tiempo que no lo visitavamos pero pese a los cambios sigue siendo un sitio ideal para tomarte unos vinos y unas tapas muy buenas para iniciar una ruta por los muy buenos sitios que tiene ese barrio con tanto encanto. Muy buen sitio para comer tapas valencianas a muy buen precio. El trato es espectacular, los dueños son super amables y cercanos, te dan buenas recomendaciones de la comida. Todas las tapas estaban deliciosas, pedimos sardinas, sepia plancha, sepia negra y unos champiñones. Sin duda volveremos!

I’d rate 6 stars for the food if there were. It’s definitely the best tapas bar I’ve been to in Valencia. You could tell from the multilingual menu on the wall that it’s famous among the international visitors. We ordered several tapas and none of them disappointed us. I’ve never expected to eat pig livers here. I thought westerners didn’t eat animal organs. But I was definitely wrong. The Valencianos know how to appreciate them and present them with unbeatable flavor.

Everything is made to order right in front of you and the service is amazing, they love a little chat and are very patient and helpful to give you the best experience. The place is small and cozy, so maybe not so suitable for large groups. P.S. GET THE BEER. It was truly the cherry on top.

I was here 9 years ago and had to come back. As always, the food is delicious, and the service is great as well. This is a typical tapas bar, so don't expect a table or reservation, just got an enjoy the typical tapas, but with the touch of the house that makes them more delicious. 100% recommended. Fantastic food! Fantastic price! We were able to get a table within 5 minutes and were also able to eat with our dog as they have very limited outside tables! Unbelievably, tasty sardines 10/10 best sardines I’ve had in Spain thus far, said by a Portuguese woman! Don't listen to the negative reviews for people who can't handle a fast pace and at times a little chaotic tapas bar. The food it great and the staff are amazing to watch. Go and emerse yourself. Speaking a little Spanish helps too. If you go in blind you come away blind.

Truly Spanish tapas experience. Very no frills but well executed. Only 2 people , one grill to pull out the magic. Not a lot of options in terms of food nor beverage, but honestly it’s not necessary at all. We ordered 3 dishes for two people. Grilled Sardines which is the house specialty, must order. Grilled liver, and grilled mushrooms. Our suggestion is to go there and have a snack before your meal. Place is small with a few barstools and chances are it’s quite full by the time you get there , thus you will have to stand. So go enjoy the sardines with a cold beer, probably another specialty and head happy to your next destination.

Traditional, authentic, fresh, flavorful and exotic. Super tiny tapas place where you can only stand and eat. Opened by a couple, I really like the vibe where you feel super local meanwhile you can taste great food. Grilled sardines is so good!

An outstanding wines & beers bar with delicious tapas. The owner are very friendly and welcoming. Very limited chairs in the house. Mostly people standing up and enjoying tapas on high tables. This bar is not like any other bars we had been to. Their foods are simple and super delicious My top recommendation is the fried sardine (perfect flavor with a piece of bread), the spicy shrimps are very elegant for chili lovers. All other dishes will be an additional complement. Come there to dine and make new friends.

Some of the best tapas we’ve had in our travels through Spain! Full of flavour and grilled to-go right infront of you, with menus on the wall in multiple languages. The owners (husband and wife combo) were amazing at dealing with a large influx of locals and tourists. We ate on the side bar with no seats, but with how quickly the food comes out it was part of the experience. We had the famous sardines, liver, lamb neck, garlic shrimp, cod montadito, cuttlefish and bread and all was amazing, plus drinks. Couldn’t recommend higher.

Tasca Angel, lugar emblemático en valencia, lo conozco de toda la vida, situado en el centro de la ciudad (zona del Carmen) genial para tapear por el centro , todo bueno y servicio muy rápido , recomiendo las sardinas, champiñones, ajoarriero muy bueno y las gambas 🍤 al ajillo ( pedirlas con muy poquito picante) las mias estaban demasiado fuertes, los dueños son encantadores, sin duda seguiré visitándolos y deleitándome con sus tapas , gracias por su servicio y atención , un abrazo 🤗

Un lugar muy recomendable para cenar de tapas por El Carmen. Muy buena ubicación, aunque al estar en pleno centro del casco antigua de la ciudad, es muy común compartir barra con turistas. El trato de las dos personas de la barra es muy cercano y profesional, y ofrecen un servicio ultra rápido y atento. Aunque haya mucha gente, no pasa más de un minuto entre que pides y te sirven. Producto muy rico (aunque por el tipo de comida y elaboración, algunos platos tienen abundante aceite). Las sardinas y los champiñones, tremendos! El ajoarriero muy rico, aunque demasiado suave para mi gusto. Sepia sucia de playa espectacular también. En resumen... muy recomendable!

Es una tasca tradicional muy pequeñita con una trayectoria de varias generaciones de la familia que lo regenta. Tienen una selección de tapas no muy variada pero totalmente acertada. El plato estrella son las sardinas a la plancha, están riquísimas. El personal muy simpático y agradable.

Hoy ,mi primera vez. Pedí las sardinas de la casa, buen producto. Pero me parece caro una bandeja con sólo 4 sardinas, pan y una caña, 9 euros. Antes ponían más sardinas según me dicen.

El sábado, 14/02/26 estuvimos mi marido y yo. Nos encantó el rollo de la taberna. Pedimos: mollegas, sardinas y sepia. Todo con el mismo sabor del mismo alineo. A media noche con intoxicación; vómitos y diarrea. Nos sorprendío, pero, así es.
