The food was good. The waitress checked on us throughout our meal, which was great. When we were finished and ready for the bill, she was nowhere in sight. We waited for the bill for over 20 minutes. Not sure I i will come back here.

We went there to eat lunch this new year 2026 but the steak I ordered had a hair between the meat i suggest that the chef must use a hair net and then you can see a hair on your food while you’re eating is so disgusting 🤮 sorry i will only give you 1 star

Absolutely freezing inside restaurant. Completely unacceptable. If it weren’t for our amazing waitress, Sharon, we would have left. We chose Denny’s to spend our hard earned money at on a holiday. The atmosphere couldn’t have been less inviting. It was saying “hurry up, eat, and get out” all while making the customers pay to dine in a freezer. There were small children and older adults and it was obvious they were uncomfortable. My husband and I are huge fans of Denny’s and don’t even use the menu anymore. We know what we like and how we like it prepared. The food was EXCELLENT as well as the service! How incredibly disappointing, not to mention disrespectful to everyone (the staff and customers) to be held in such low regard that heat couldn’t even be provided in exchange for the hard work, loyalty and funds that afford you this lifestyle. We have been everywhere. Do better Denny’s in Velejo, CA

I've always enjoyed eating at Denny's, but this time it was a huge disappointment. I ordered turkey with broccoli and mashed potatoes, but the meat was cold. I asked to exchange it for nachos, but I think they didn't like the exchange and gave me burnt nachos with a lot of oil. I'm very sorry about this because the waitress was wonderful, but the food wasn't. It's a place I will never go back to.

Denny's new sandwich idea is trash 🗑 food I spent $44 on two of the worst sandwiches I have ever seen. I tasted the meat and fed the sandwich to my dog it was so horrible. Please spare yourself the disgust The Melt Down is trash 🗑

This place was empty when I got here. Not a single other person here. I thought it was closed but checked just to make sure. I see why now. The guy who took our order etc was super rude. I ordered drinks for my kids and wife but when it came to me he walked away, I stopped him twice to tell him I needed a drink too and he waved at me said okay and kept walking both times! And not a friendly wave but a shrug you off kind of waive. I was super annoyed but didn’t say anything. My wife ended up having to order me a drink herself because he would not listen to me. Well the cook was watching the whole time and gave me a dirty look. I was super super polite and didn’t even bring up the fact that he shrugged me off. Then my food came 🤬 the video says it all. Tell me if you can tell the difference between gravy and the mashed potatoes. Even my steak was sour as he ll. I didn’t finish my food. I only ate the corn after not eating for almost 48 hours. I was super po’d.

What a massive disappointment! Got my birthday reward coupon on the Dennys App, but the coupon would not load, and the "online" order option would not work! Waitress tried to help, but the coupon can't be selected. Manager never even csmr out of the office. They just said no! Also, ordered the French toast with bacon they brought out pancakes with sausage (see picks). I tiped the waitress and left.

As a previous restaurant manager for a franchise Danny's firm over 11 years and customer service representative in high quality 5 star food industry over 19 years, believe me I know good service and bad service and in all ranks this location was one of the worst by far I'm sure it was a franchise the manager Jose and Server Enrique where extremely rude it was two in our party and we only got cilverwhere for one no refill on coffee and when we asked we were asked if we could wait for it to be done getting made, but with a rude and frustrated attitude from Server we had to ask for every condiment needed and took for ever to receive when I complained the manager said he would call the cops cus that was the kind service they provided in his facility. Ultimately and reluctantly he gave 20% off.
