I love visiting Ihop with fam immediately after morning mass on Sunday’s. Very few places are open especially ones with reasonable food. One thing I can say for them is that they have kept their standards. Yes portion have reduced but we all know that is a global issue. Decent food, clean and family oriented. A must visit if you are visiting the US for the first time.

We had lunch here typically when we are around this area. The kids like to eat at this particular location. Covid protocols were followed. Staff and customers wear mask and practice social distancing. The food was good, service was good and staff were friendly. The Parking lot was full so I had to park a block away. Most importantly, the kids enjoy their meals, left full and satisfied.

Place was crowded and staff seem confused and unorganized. Food was okay and very cold. Server was very busy and didn't do that great a job with our service. Seemed to busy with the other tables. This was maybe my 3rd time there and this has got to be the worst visit. Will debate if returning.

The food wasn't good! I ordered these waffles with whipped cream and cheesecake moose. The waffle itself was good, but the whipped cream didn't taste good. The moose was disgusting, the texture was gross, and it just didn't taste like cheesecake. I also ordered a milkshake, and it also wasn't good. But the server was super sweet! He was a guy, but sadly forgot his name.

I have been coming to this ihop for a little while now and the quality of the food has gone down a lot. I always love when I dine in as the service is great. The waitress/waiters I have had are lovely. But today the food was at its worst. I got 2 over easy eggs, and one of them had no yolk. in the middle of the egg it was just the whites, and they were wet (to be fair they don't cook them for a long time when ordered over easy of course). The bacon was almost a grey color. The hashbrowns were fine but not as good as they used to be. & the pancakes were just fine as well. Super turned off by this unfortunately dont think I’ll come back to this location! I ordered on uber eats for pick up. I have done this before & the food was fine, much better than it was today!

Not sure if it's just this branch or IHOP as a whole, but this was incredibly lackluster. My eggs Benedict hollandaise sauce looked disgusting and tasted just as bad. Service was relatively slow despite an empty restaurant. I'd skip this place.

I ordered ahead on the IHOP app for pickup before work, I was able to order exactly what I wanted and pick up on time, I’ve always loved coming here, I ordered the bacon omelette And added the avocado for $2.99 I think is reasonable with how much food costs now in days but when I opened my breakfast I was so disgusted at what I saw. My avocado was turned dark I personally would have preferred to be charged extra for a good avocado or explained there were bad before sitting that in top of my meal. My meal was cold, I had ordered the cinnamon dippers with the caramel sauce and it came with a white sauce I’m very disappointed and I would probably never come to this location again.

I took into consideration the type of weather we've been having lately and gave the place the benefit of the doubt........ the server was nice...... he took our order and brought my daughter her order in a timely fashion...... he brought a partial portion of my order (scrambled eggs) and advised I start eating that while I wait for the rest of my order before the eggs got cold. Another thing that I didnt care for but AGAIN here I am STILL giving this place the benefit of the doubt....... it wasn't until I turned to grab salt and pepper and saw a FULLY GROWN ROACH chilling on the pepper and it appeared to be sitting there the WHOLE TIME.......... I didn't make a scene....... I asked one of the employees for a manager...... she went to get the manager but the manager NEVER showed their face... at this point I am FURIOUS and just told another employee that there is a roach on my table and I am leaving....... He never even apologized for it either........ I am soooooooo disgusted with my experience and that place and will NEVER step foot in that place ever again...... bad enough you have your customers FREEZING while spending HARD EARNED MONEY (especially in todays economy) I had to experience something as unsanitary with ZERO apologies or attention from the manager. I will be sharing this on my social media as well telling people NOT to go to this Ihop in Valley Stream......... DISGUSTING I wish I knew how to post the photo of the roach but I will definitely share on another platform

It was freezing inside this place. They had a whole side they didn't use because it was too cold but ultimately everyone in their had their coats on. The server was attentive and kept checking on us. Utensils weren't the cleanest so I opted for plastic Utensils instead. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting 🫣. I don't think I'll be back again.

This I Hop must be under new management. The service was trash as well as the food. The meat taste like clone meat…The Spanish lady with the glasses is very rude and unprofessional. It’s like having breakfast on the NorthPole. You might as well have breakfast in the 27 degrees weather. The bathroom is like you walking into an ice box. This place was never like this years ago. Who owns it now? Let me think I already know that’s why it’s open 24 hours because the service is TRASH and the FOOD is as well. I will never return there the I HOP in Five Towns but this place to shame. Try calling them for some tips on how to run a buisness.

It was 5 am the restaurant was empty. Another party arrived and the waitress seated them right behind us. A third party arrived reeking of weed and she seated them next to us. Took 20 minutes to ask us if we were ready to order. Ultimately when paying she had the nerve to ask me if i wanted to add a tip. Absolutely the worst service i had received in years at any restaurant. Completely incapable of reading the room.

This was my first time coming to an IHOP after years of been out of the country because on serving in the military. Came to this location with another person that is also a veteran and in every table was this sign with not specific day advertising a free breakfast for veterans. Well we asked our server Adrian E. Who told us that yes it was an ongoing promotion for service member and asked for our IDs to proof our affiliation to the military. After we ate the bill was brought to us with all the full priced meals and said that they can do the 10% because that wasn’t for today. Well between the conversation he called his manager a female who even yelled at him in front of all the customers (Very unprofessional) telling him not to said wrong information, but anyways charged us the meals and removed the drinks. It was a very uncomfortable moment and horrible experience in IHOP. Great welcome back to the country! 🇺🇸 Wouldn’t recomendó this place to anyone!
