This place is very nice and well-maintained for the most part, and they serve their food to customers very quickly. I strongly recommend their ice cream sundaes, and this place is great for casually getting away with your friends or to briefly escape the considerable stress of either school or work.

I like the fact that they are changing things up a bit so that it doesn't feel like a regular-ol fast-food restaurant. They are doing their best to bring a service centered sit-down restaurant experience. An employee behind the counter actually brought our food to our table. Never experienced that at a MCDonald's before. It was real nice.

The service is always super fast here and I've never had a problem with my order. However, I rarely visit this location in person and rather order very frequently on UberEats. My order ALWAYS arrives quickly, the food is fresh, and my order has always been correct. In person it may be a different experience, but if you order from here on UberEats you will not have any problems.

I eat here most of the night. The food is great and the workers are great too! The managers super polite. I know sometimes it gets hectic with the crazy lines but remember they’re busy trying to get all the orders in. Thank you guys for your hard work!

This location was pretty good but the drive thru service was atrocious. We were waiting at least 10 minutes for just three small breakfast items. Whenever I drive by this location the line is massive so that just leads me to believe they're slow at preparing orders. No problems with the food so far though.

Great for a quick late night bite to eat. Open late past 11pm. As I'm not too sure what time they close. Each time I've been in this location McDonald's I noticed a clean facility and also a pleasant professional work ethic from the employees. They quickly and proficiently make your food. It was good but they were very cheap in regards to providing ketchup. I ordered a substantial amount of food for my kids after practice and they forgot the ketchup. Went back to ask for it, got 3 packets. Explained that i have a car full of hungry kids....3 more packets...seriously? Good thing they were tired and just wanted to leave by then.

😕 Bummer about the chocolate milkshake! McDonald's is a classic, and when the shake's off, it's a letdown. Good service's a big plus, though! Maybe try a different flavor next time?

Prices of fast foods have become expensive!

I rated it 3 stars and only that high because they had an employee outside taking your order ahead of time. I ordered 3 burgers 2 with cheese 1 without. What I received was all 3 without cheese and I had to say, "where's the beef." They were non-existent!

Display should be as your driving up. Once you get to the microphone there right on you for order. Orders seem to get mixed up when you get to the window. The people do there best on the drive up. Breakfast menu is past the microphone so it's harder to make mind up. The burger menu is before.

The coffee was terrible. This is their idea of a fried chicken patty. Can you find the pieces?

People at the drive thru need better training. McDonald's management clearly doesn't care who they put at the window. "Our people" need better training. First and foremost this McDonald's always overcharges. Any special you see advertised in the media will be at least $1 more here. Additionally they currently won't allow you to pick and choose which items from their 2 for 6 promotion you want (2 for 7 here). They force you to buy two of the same item. The drive through is usually long and they usually ask you to pull off to the side to wait for your order. Don't go inside to avoid the line, it won't matter. Don't come here if you're on tight time constraint. If you have special requests it depends on the time of day on whether or not they'll get it right. Weekday, daytime, non lunchtime, after school or rush hours are your best bet. Yes, they charge extra for sauces. The inside remodel is nice and clean but that's the extent of superlatives I have for this location. Overall it's not the worst franchise location in the general area (the 365 Rockaway Turnpike holds that distinction) but you'd be better off elsewhere like the BK on Merrick road or the Green Acres Mall food court.

Went there tonight.The drive-thru was 4 cars deep. After waiting almost 10 minutes, I decided to go inside to get my food. When i left the store with my food, 2 of the 4 cars that were ahead of me were still in the drive-thru. They also got my sandwich wrong. I ordered a smokehouse bacon burger but to my surprise, I ended up wit the smokehouse bacon chicken sandwich. Also, the cashier was pretty unpleasant. 2 stars because my sandwich was tasty.

Why doesn't anyone pick up when you call these places. I'm not sure why this always happens to me at McDonald's but my order was not complete this morning. I bought 2 sandwiches but they only gave me one. Will definitely be going back for my money. This is ridiculous.

I normally do not do low ratings, but today I sat for almost 25 minutes waiting for food. I waited ten or so minutes just to order my food, and 10 minutes for the food to come out. I got the bag, and I had ordered a double cheeseburger with extra onions and a medium fry. I got a regular cheeseburger in the bag. I had to call the poor guy bringing the food out to the cars back and tell him it was the wrong food, and he apologized and went back in. It took 5 more minutes for the food to come out. I felt bad for the poor guy bringing the food out, it wasn't his fault at all but he sounded like he felt really bad. The good was good and it was fresh, just very frustrating that I ended up being late to an appointment because of this. I know they cannot help when the drive thru is busy, but this store definitely needs help or more people. These employees definitely seemed like they needed help. I recommend going into the store if you see the drive thru line is long, I watched people who pulled up the same time as me get out 10 minutes before I did.

I hate when the cashier or service person say "what?"... when they ask me to repeat the order. This is very rude. A simple lack of courtesy. No smile, no thanks... it's like they were doing me a favor by selling breakfast to me. It bothers me even more when that attitude is displayed in front of the store or shift manager. This is how the "customer service" is trained?

DOUBLE CHECK YOUR ORDER AT THE DRIVE THRU. 80% of the time they do not pack all the items. I am tired of giving them the benefit of the doubt.

What can I say, but customer service here is very POOR!! Went there on Friday night July 2 around 8:20pm and the person who was supposed to be taking my order stood there texting on her phone...She…

With only 3 people ahead of me, It took a little over 10 min before I was able to give my order and just over 5 min before I received my 2 coffees. Everyone looked new and confused. They looked over staffed and under performed. The coffee.... Don't get me started on it.

I have never seen a McDonald's where you have to constantly remind them of simple things such as apple juice for Happy Meal; condiments; or just to place all the items to get home and have no condiments and missing items! I'm beyond dissatisfied with the ONLY Mickey D's in Valley Stream. I do try to avoid this place but sometimes, my 3 year old son will request a Happy Meal. The staff needs to do better and the starting point could be customer service.

Poor service. Food took 20 minutes to come out. Probably longer because they forgot the iced lattes. They were so combative with the flack they were getting from the jammed up drive thru that they ended serving us watered down half and halfs with barely any coffee or sugar and no caramel. Seems to me like there hearts not in it.

The worst McDonald’s I have ever been to. The wait even when slow is insane. I have now been waiting for 20 mins in the parking lot for my food. When did this become acceptable? They’ll make some excuse up like “shift change”. The fact is they are always slow and their staff does not give a damn about you waiting. Come here one day. Try to order something in th drive thru. See if you don’t have to wait a few minutes just to pay. Go inside. See if ppl aren’t socializing and / or texting on their phone instead of getting orders out. Have a problem everytime I come to this MCD

Had the most simplest order 2 mcchicken's and a pack of cookies yet the three cars behind me got there orders before I did and they had 1 or 2 big bags. Felt like they where baking the cookies from scratch the took so long. One of the mcchicken's had didnt even look like it had any lettuce it looked like a fish fillet.

At 11:02 am, I ordered food at the kiosk station. I paid but the machine ran out of paper so I do not have a receipt or a number. I talked to them but nobody helped. I ended up purchasing again 20 minutes later using the app. Thank you for not helping at all.

We ordered our meals after waiting in the drive thru for 20 minutes. We get to the window and the girl charges more than we should be paying. We advise her of the error and the manager has to correct the mistake. The cashier clearly didn't understand what to do. At this point we're asked to move down and wait for our order. After 10 minutes we were going to request a refund. At this point, they're bringing out our food. The fries were cold. I will never go to this location again!

Employees are not wearing their mask the correct way, and had a mobile that was supposed to come to the car. After waiting over 20 minutes I went in and my order was melting on the counter in a bag with nobody looking like they were going to bring it out. Always an issue, the food is lousy just like the service, never coming back to this one again. I had big hopes for the new McDonald's. I went to this location shortly before 7pm. There are two ways you can enter the drive thru area. I entered the drive thru area and noticed another vehicle that hadn’t entered the area to join the line to order because there were so many cars. An employee came out and took this customer’s order. She proceeded to take other customers order that had gathered behind this customer. I continued to wait and eventually she came over and asked if I needed to get out and I told her no I was waiting to order. She then took my order but told me I would have to wait until 4 customers who came in after me paid for their order because otherwise it was mess up how she took the orders. After waiting for over 10 minutes I was not going to wait any longer. The employee said all of this matter factory as though my time meant nothing. I will never go back to this location.

CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!! Long day, heading home, kids ask can you bring McDonald's. Long line, finally get to order and the person on the microphone keeps saying are you done after each sentence. I get to the window pay for my food. I received the drinks from one young lady and then another came down the stairs and they engaged in conversation. While talking she handed me 1 bag which included: 1 10 piece nugget meal, 1 6 piece nugget meal and 1 double cheeseburger meal. All with sauces and medium fries and as I reached for it the entire bag fell out of her hand and hit the floor. This young lady closed the window and yelled to the other girl that I dropped the bag. They both returned to the window waiting to see what I had to say, so I asked. Is it common practice to put 3 meals in 1 bag because that's way too much for a paper bag. She then asked me for the receipt and I left. I returned shortly after my kids wanted to know why I only came home with juice. I walked in and asked to speak with the supervisor. In asking, you can clearly hear the same 2 young ladies whispering and "the dropper" states that's the lady she came back. I explained the situation to the "manager" asking if it's common to overstuff bags as opposed to distributing the food evenly. Long long story shorter, she offered a refund with the discounted drinks since I got them and at this point I did not want them to give me any food. I offered insight on weight distribution of packing bags, customer service and the fact that they'd be getting this review. Thanks we got sandwiches that night.

Avoid this place at all costs! Extremely slow service. It’s as if they have no idea how to run a restaurant! No one assigned a station. They all just run around like chickens. Ten plus people standing around waiting for 10 plus minutes for their order. When they call out an order, they just stand there screaming the order number instead of moving on to the next one. It is by far the worst run McDonalds I have ever seen.

I did an online order for it to be delivered at this location, didn't realize that it's the wrong address. I've been calling to cancel my order with no luck. Phone number took me to a voicemail that was full, then it hung up. It's terrible that i couldn't cancel my order, even though it was sent to the wrong location.

Incredibly rude service worker - yelled and gesticulated at me for parking in a (legitimate and clearly marked) parking spot because it inconvenienced her in accessing the garage disposal area. There wasn't a single open parking spot, so I was forced to park across the street instead. Also not helped by the fact that she didn't speak a work of English, so communication was limited.

I Don't Go There Anymore!!!

On February 5, 2026 I went thru the drive thru and ordered a Big Mac, small fries and a small coffee. I eat the fries while driving and headed to King Kullen in Valley Stream. I sat in my car and eat the Big Mac and proceeded to go in King Kullen to shop for a few things. When I came out of King Kullen and started to drive off, all of a sudden my stomach was in so much pain that I could hardly drive. Also while I was trying to drive home I started to feel like I had to vomit and diarrhea at the same time. I never felt pain like that before in my stomach. I luckily made it to a relatives house because I couldn't make it home. I HAD FOOD POISONING. After everything came out of me I started to feel better. I known it was the McDonald's because that was the only thing I ate that day and it happened about 30 minutes after I ate that food.

This place has a rude employee, young lady. I am sorry to say this but I got a racist vibe and being ignored when the employee forgot to give me napkins. She was talking to another young man/friend while serving. I asked politely & seemed that she didn’t hear me or ignored me so I repeated my request. Then she got upset and said rudely, “I heard you!” with a nasty look. But still after I got my napkins, I politely thanked her, I was a bit shocked by her attitude though.

I was looking forward to eating some McDonald's with my kids, perfectly normal right? But no, this was far from normal. First of all, when they gave me my order, instead of giving me what I ordered (Two Big Macs and three McChickens) they gave me the wrong order. Secondly, when I went back home, I discovered that they gave me the wrong order on every item except two items. I had to go back to McDonald's and water my gas going back. Thirdly, when I was there, they didn't give me an apology, no "I'm sorry" or anything. I am extremely displeased with the service. DONT GO HERE.

Consistently horrible service mostly in the morning and afternoon shifts. I don’t understand why there is such a lack of organization of staff and communication to customers, I got ignored multiple times, my order got neglected, when I see my bag with the number on it and I see them change it on the screen where it’s no longer pending but it’s available so someone said the order was ready and didn’t even make it yet. Just tired of this happening over and over again. They need a better system. I used the app to order pick up at the counter.
