Trattoria tipica brianzola dove spiccano il risotto nella forma di formaggio (delizioso) e le orecchie di elefante (morbide e perfette). Personale molti gentile. Il fascino della tradizione.

Trattoria cucina tradizionale..tipico locale di trattoria di una volta all ingresso il bar e poi due sale adibite a ristorante arredamento di una volta molto semplice..buona cucina anche quest ultima semplice ma piena di sapori tradizionali..prezzi medio alti.

The restaurant is located in Varedo in an area with a bit of parking, so I recommend parking before the one-way streets. The entrance is a bit anonymous, but there are two large dining rooms. The menu is extensive and can satisfy all palates. There are days with typical dishes worth trying. The food is good, and it's crowded, so I recommend booking, even for lunch during the week. I've attached some photos of the restaurant and the tagliata with potatoes I tried.

A typical old-fashioned trattoria. Very basic but absolutely welcoming! As for the food, we loved it! Cold cuts as an appetizer, cheese gnocchi, and a cutlet! Everything was to our liking! The girl who served us was also very kind!

This old-fashioned bar-trattoria is simple and clean. Decorated in an old-fashioned style, the service is friendly and the dishes are well-made. The only drawback is the lack of a wine list. Prices are reasonable for the price.

Not the best food but it's ok. Average age of the clientele was over 60. Price is 4/10 quality of the dishes 5/10. All the clients are usual clients and it's an awkward place new clients.

Despite the wealth of positive reviews, I have to dismiss my experience. The appetizers were a nasty surprise: from the description, they looked like something completely different—four slices of salami and three of capocollo, basically. For main courses, we tried the tagliatelle with black truffle, which were remarkable, and the risotto with osso buco, also remarkable. Then the cutlet... I don't think I've ever eaten a cutlet with less flavor; a shame, I wasn't expecting it. On the other hand, the bill was incredibly high (€3 per person for cover charge—is that crazy?!?). The quality-price ratio was simply unacceptable. If these are the old traditions, then I'd rather go for the new ones. We're not there yet!!!!
