Luogo piccolo e accogliente che si affaccia sul Lago di Como. Ottima selezione di cioccolate e infusi in un contesto informale e caratteristico per uno spuntino veloce.

Gelateria La Passerella has become a tradition for us—every time we visit Lake Como, we make sure to stop here. The gelato is consistently delicious, with a smooth texture and rich flavor, and they offer a great variety to choose from. Highly recommended! 6. I repeat. *SIX* vegan gelatos here. If you are vegan, this is one of the good choices for gelato. It's right by the walk, right by the water, and has good choices. If anything it's a victim of it's own success as they almost ran out of some of the vegan gelatos by early afternoon. Do come here or the store next door for gelato. Good choices all around.

So many good flavours and they were all tasty. I went for a weird mango and dark chocolate combo, yet it turned out to be one of the best decisions ever. It was really good. ! A week later, I still crave for this.

When we were walking by, purple ice cream cought my eye, so we went here and were not dissapointed! I reccommend grape and tiramisu, but based on how much we liked it, i bet all of the flavours are good :)

Delicious ice cream! I had Dubai choc and pistachio and was such a reasonable price compared to London! 3.50 euros for 2 scoops. There is a bit of a queue and no seating but it's what you expect for Lake Como in the summer!

We had possibly the best gelato that we’ve tried in and around Milan, so far. A small, unassuming joint, offering a variety of options. we tried four flavours, including chocolate cookie, pistachio, and the cheesecake, all of which were wonderful.

Right in front of the lake and accessed by walking path, this gelateria offers delicious ice cream without milk. I had the grape and the dark chocolate and the flavor was so good that blowed my mind. The service is very fast even with just one attendant inside. There are some pillows on the stairs right outside the store to relax while enjoying the dessert. I definitely recommend.

Piccola gelateria in una posizione magnifica, all'inizio della passerella degli innamorati, sul lago. Prezzi nella norma, hanno pochi gusti ma buoni, solo due per vegani ma almeno era aperta anche in inverno! Locale piccolino, ovviamente.

Uno dei pochi posti trovati aperti a Dicembre a Varenna dove mangiare. Essendo inverno i gusti erano molto pochi (spero che in estate siano di più e che ci siano più gusti vegani oltre fragola e limone) ma la qualità buona.

Gelato molto buono, servizio promosso. All'interno si può usufruire di toilette (cosa non scontata). Il prezzo è nella media, circa.

The ice cream is good, and that’s the highlight. The service itself is polite, but we noticed the staff often seemed frustrated because many customers don’t realize that you need to pay first and then order the ice cream. This process isn’t very clear. Moving the cashier closer to the entrance or placing a more visible ‘pay first’ sign could really help; most customers naturally focus on the ice cream display, so the current sign above the freezer is easy to miss. We didn’t experience any bad treatment, but the frustration was noticeable. A small adjustment like this could improve the experience for both customers and staff.

Stopped in right after the ferry and had the bueno and pistachio—both were incredible! We loved it so much we went back after dinner… but the bueno was already gone. Definitely go early if you want that flavor! Perfect spot to enjoy with a view of the Porto Riva Grande.🍦

Can’t compare to other gelato places around the Lombardy area yet, but this one was not exceptional compared to other gelato in Italy. The texture was too watery and not so creamy, and the flavors a bit too artificial (pistacchio and nocciola). The location is nice and right next to a sitting area overlooking the lake, so you get a nice view at least. The prices are reasonable for being in a more remote area, but I would try a different place next time.

I tried the almond/pistachio and lake Como flavors, as other reviewers suggested. What a huge disappointment. It is way too sweet, I can only taste the flavor of sugar, nothing else. It is more like cheap American ice-cream, rarher than Italian gelatos. As someone who traveled in Italy for over 70 days, I have tried gelatos at over 100 different places, this store offers below average gelatos compared to other places I tried.

Abbiamo ordinato due gelati senza glutine , il costo del cono aumenta di 2,50€ perché il cono senza glutine ha una maggiorazione. Siete vergognosi , ve ne approfittate di una intolleranza per lucrarci . Costo del cono totale 6€. Scrivono gelato artigianale , ma ho dei grandi dubbi .

Terrible service, the staff on the right told me I can only try ONE flavour when I ordered a double scoop cone. She was very rude to me. The other staff on the left let my friends and other customers try two to three flavours. This is unfair and unacceptable. Mind you, I came in winter November when there was no queue at all.

I got Dubai and Amalfi, Ice cream tasted very bad, I asked if I could change the taste, they refused, told me to go away, and go to die! So I threw the ice cream to the trash, worst service ever, not italian! Stay away!
