We went for lunch on Saturday and had a really good meal. The place is small and cozy, with a quiet atmosphere and delicious food (desserts included). Highly recommended!
Excellent local food with generous, flavorful portions. Quick and efficient service. The place is very quaint, just like an old-fashioned osteria, and beautifully decorated with plenty of personality. A truly excellent experience. Water, first course, second course, and dessert are €20.

A delightful discovery thanks to a friend. A restaurant where you can eat truly excellently, with even sophisticated, Michelin-starred dishes like spaghetti with orange-infused butter and shrimp tartare or braised bacon. The dessert is also a must-try: peach and mascarpone tart, incredibly light despite the mascarpone. If you're in Varese, go there.
I happened to be passing through this area of Varese with my grandfather, and, drawn by the good reviews, I decided to stop for lunch. The food was excellent, and the staff were incredibly friendly (their attention to their guests' dietary needs was also greatly appreciated). On weekdays, they have an excellent, affordable lunch menu with a variety of options for both first and second courses.
This osteria is always a guarantee. The chef is impeccable, the staff is attentive and friendly, and everything is wonderful. You have to try it at least once! It's my favorite restaurant in all of Varese.
Very good food, I couldn't find a negative note and I even tried! Friendly, helpful and cheerful staff. A real osteria, the only real osteria in Varese. It really deserves to be tried.

Went here for Tuesday lunch. It's very good, and for the money it is super good. We took spaghetti with quail sauce as primi, then 2 different secondis followed by cheesecake and coffee. Staff could speak a little English too. Great. Will go back. Only downer is if you walk from town you basically have to walk up a narrow road with no sidewalks, which felt dangerous. Not much they can do about that though. Only 9 or 10 tables so maybe reserve in advance. It is a gem.

Excellent experience. The atmosphere is extremely welcoming for a small number of guests, allowing one to relax and enjoy the meal. Each dish showcases the refined quality of the ingredients and the chef's friendly creativity, which then interacted with the guests in the dining room. All the staff are welcoming and helpful, and the owner entertains guests in a friendly yet respectful manner. I greatly appreciated the attention given to me after I shared my food allergies. I had the best Bavarian cream I've ever had, and we'll definitely return when we're in the area again.

Without doubt one of the best options in Varese. The food was excellent and so was the service. The dishes were all well elaborated and carefully thought of. And I found the prices very good, considering the quality and quantity you get. Since the place is rather small, you will need to book a few days in advance.

Had a great time there! Exceptional quality food. I liked the short menu and we loved every single dish among the 7 we ordered. Go for the Cavallo! And the semi drunk but very competent waiter is just a lovely addition:)

An elegant and refined osteria, perfect for an intimate lunch or dinner. Beautifully presented dishes, quality ingredients, and a relaxed atmosphere. Prices are a bit high, but justified by the overall experience.
An amazing experience of culinary arts developed to perfection. Duck tortellini and Campari ice cream are must.
