Sono stato in varie occasioni in questo ristorante e devo sottolineare la qualita' dei cibi La gentilezza dei proprietari ,locale super servizio top Lo consiglio a tutti non resterete delusi Qui tutto e" al top.
Bellissimo palazzetto interamente ristrutturato servizio impeccabile non è compresa una vera colazione ma in stanza c’è tutto quello che serve dai biscotti alla Nutella e sotto c’è la macchinetta con cialde di ogni tipo. Il ristorante è carino anche se piccolo. Ambiente molto familiare cibo ottimo
Di rientro dalla Svizzera, abbiamo cercato un ristorante aperto in questa settimana di Ferragosto a Varzo. Abbiamo pranzato veramente bene: ottima qualità dei cibi e porzioni soddisfacenti. Prezzi adeguati all ambiente (locale vintage) e alla zona. Servizio rapido. Personale molto gentile.
Pranzato con amici, ci siamo trovati benissimo. Taglieri con affettati molto buoni e particolari tra cui salame ai mirtilli. Primo piatto fettuccine fatte in casa con gorgonzola e mirtilli. Dolce buonissima bunet e fiocca, tipica panna cotta della val formazza. La proprietaria e la figlia sono gentilissime e accoglienti. Da tornarci assolutamente!
Sembra strano trovare un ristorante in montagna, specializzato nella cucina a base di pesce, ma è sicuramente una passione e preparazione del gestore, dove ricordo molti anni or sono gestiva un ristorante, presso la stazione ferroviaria di Iselle, nelle immediate vicinanze del famoso traforo del Sempione. I piatti proposti sono raffinati e proposti con notevole maestria, insalata di mare con frutti di bosco e arancia, trancio di tonno sublime servito con patate viola e mela verde, ottimo secondo denominato la “barca nel bosco” composto da, gamberoni, dentice, orata e calamaro al forno con pangrattato erbe aromatiche e verdurine, ottimi anche i dolci tiramisù e bunet anche questi serviti con raffinatezza. Personale molto cordiale e gentile. Prezzo adeguato alla qualità e freschezza dei prodotti proposti, (ho letto nelle recensioni, dove alcuni si lamentano, probabilmente non conoscono il valore di mercato dei prodotti) merita assolutamente di ritornare per apprezzare le altre prelibatezze proposte!
Dopo una bella passeggiata in montagna è doveroso cenare alla Ca' del vino. La ragazza ci ha accolti gentilmente facendoci sedere ad un tavolo abbastanza distante dagli altri commensali. Per spizzicare qualcosa nell'attesa ci hanno portato pane e grissini (che ho gradito moltissimo). Abbiamo scelto un antipasto con vari salumi locali, ravioli al ragù di cinghiale e girasoli con speck, zucchina e un formaggio che, purtroppo, non ricordo. Inoltre abbiamo preso un bicchiere di Barbera d'Asti che si sposava perfettamente con il nostro menù, strudel di mele, fiocca (tipico dolce della val Formazza a base di panna e cioccolato)e due caffè. Prezzo per due persone compreso di coperto 50€, onestissimo considerando le porzioni abbondanti, la qualità e la tranquillità con la quale mi sono goduta la cena! Consigliatissimo!

Ristorante fantastico. Pesce davvero buono
Se siete di passaggio nella vostra strada verso le piste da sci di San Domenico e di ritorno da una passeggiata in montagna, beh...non mancate di fermarvi in questo piccolo e tipico ristorante! Piatti tipici ma anche (caspita!) del pesce cucinato molto bene, il tutto a prezzi giusti e quantità adeguate. Cosa volere di più. Ah, aggiungete anche l'estrema gentilezza dei proprietari! Consigliatissimo.
Sono felice di aver scelto Ca' del Vino come sosta per il mio viaggio. Persone squisite, così come la loro cucina. La camera molto confortevole e pulita. Posizione ottima. Tornerò. 👍
Camera comodissima, ristrutturata recentemente. Servizi ottimi, i proprietari mi sono sempre venuti incontro a risolvere alcune mie esigenze. Bagno e vasca molto grandi. Parcheggio oltre la strada gratuito. Servizi per la colazione in camera molto graditi.

Non un semplice punto di ristoro, ma un vero laboratorio di arte culinaria, animato da personale attento, gentile, premuroso, estremamente competente e affabile. Dotato di comodo e ampio parcheggio, offre un luogo davvero confortevole, distinto e riservato. Lode meritatissima!

A family-run restaurant with rustic decor. Specializing in fish and seafood. A very pleasant surprise. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. And the bill at the end was very reasonable considering the generous portions.
A regular at this excellent restaurant, where I always enjoy fresh, expertly cooked fish and impeccable service, I couldn't help but write a review for what I enjoyed today. The reason for this review: the best fresh tagliolini with freshly picked porcini mushrooms I've ever eaten! I have to compliment the chef on the exquisite and perfect preparation of this first course: fresh tagliolini and freshly picked porcini mushrooms, off-menu. I ABSOLUTELY recommend trying this delicacy: the flavor of the mountains, perfectly cooked, with a unique sauce, a ton of exquisite porcini mushrooms, all washed down with an excellent Brunello di Montalcino. The delicate and flavorful cuttlefish appetizer was also fresh and exquisite. A recommendation: absolutely try this restaurant in Varzo. Also worth trying is the variety of fresh fish and meat dishes on the menu, plus, upon request, a light and exceptional fried fish dish, paella, and a large seafood shell. Compliments!
I enjoyed both the B&B and the restaurant. A full five stars for both. The restaurant has convenient parking, just 50 meters from the train station, which connects to both Domodossola and the canton of Valais in 20 minutes. Extremely friendly staff, fast, punctual, and courteous service. The dishes were excellent, with portions that were satisfying in both quality and quantity. The prices were absolutely fair. It's worth taking a detour from your trip and stopping by. The B&B itself was beautiful, comfortable, spotlessly clean, and completely new, with a very comfortable bed and pillows. Perfect.

Splendid food and experience! The best Italian food I’ve had since travelling in this region. The best ones are always in local family restaurants and this is it! Flavoursome pasta and very fresh ingredients! Will miss this place but will return in future!

We are here on our way back to Switzerland. Amazing food - free fish salad was stunning. Lamb chops were some of the best I had ; I would just make sure to put the sauce on the side, since the lamb itself tested even better without it. It was amazing.

Posto molto bello in quel di Varzo. Devo dire che tutto quello che ho mangiato è stato molto buono e saporito, il clima era quello tipico di montagna, abbastanza riservato, ma accogliente. Ho provato i girasoli con Speck e Castelmagno (Devastanti) e le costolette di agnello annegate nello Zola, con pistacchio (Da perdere il fiato). Cotture perfette e sapori decisi. Giusto un appunto sui tovaglioli utilizzati, veramente brutti e logori (meglio usa e getta a questo punto) e il pane non freschissimi. Assolutamente da tornare appena possibile! Le foto parlano da sé...
Antipasto e primo piatto da lasciare senza parole, deliziosi. Ho assaggiato un dolce, però non ne sono rimasto molto soddisfatto invece. Il prezzo è alto, ma perfettamente in linea a ciò che si mangia, onesto. Una nota positiva va assolutamente alle cameriere, simpatiche e soprattutto ben preparate. Servizio da 10. Consigliatissimo.

I went for lunch. The surprise is that you'd expect to eat meat-based dishes typical of the valley...but instead, you're served fish!! And I have to say, I loved it. Simple and welcoming service. Delicious first courses and second courses as well. Very cozy, rustic atmosphere with a roaring fireplace. The beetroot risotto was very special. The squid ink agnolotti were fantastic. Prices weren't cheap, but they were well-balanced. The desserts were excellent. I'll definitely be back if I pass by.

The establishment presents itself as a restaurant, wine bar, and tasting room, but the reality is quite different. The white wine list is surprisingly sparse and unbalanced, with a minimal and poorly curated selection. The red wine selection is slightly better, but still far from the standards one would expect from a wine bar that aspires to be such. Regarding service, the experience was unfortunately negative. The owners, a mother and daughter, displayed an unprofessional attitude: argumentative responses, lack of availability, and a hint of arrogance that significantly impacted the quality of the service. The cuisine offers decent dishes, but the quality-price ratio is decidedly disproportionate, especially considering the obvious shortcomings in the wine selection and the customer service. To round off the experience, an episode that to call unpleasant is an understatement: after yet another unfounded argument, the owners abruptly walked away, leaving me and my guest literally speechless. This behavior, more than anything else, sums up the overall experience.
