Decided to stop by this shop because I saw that they hosted events throughout the week! They had trivia, coffee tasting and so much more! I tried out the coffee tasting w a friend- it was such a great way to catch up with a friend over coffee but try something new. Darwin was super knowledgeable and taught us so much- a fun casual way to spend a weekend afternoon with a friend and in such a cute store front :) the coffee was also delicious! Met the owner evelina and she is such a gem. Loved the vision and the mission of this place as well. Highly recommend to check this place out, whether for your daily coffee run or for one of their events!

Absolutely delicious. My wife and I come here every other week to get our strawberry vanilla matcha and our oat milk lattes. The staff are very kind and I am absolutely in love with the place. The space has plenty of natural light and the seating is comfortable. Their outdoor patio is lovely and spacious. They are also pet friendly! They are a community staple and offer many events. The only downside is that they no longer serve Saby’s breakfast burritos which were AMAZING.

Cozy spot. People are very friendly and the ambiance is comfy for a quiet morning. Indoor seatings are nice and the patio is also cute. They have dog water by the door too :)

What an oasis!✨ This hidden gem offers amazing drinks! My bestie and I ordered the chagachino which is espresso and mushroom coffee with a blend of orange extract 10/10 🔥 All of their spring drinks however looked amazing 🌼 It is a rather cozy coffee shop but has enough space for you to work! Parking however is limited.

A wonderful business venture with community at its heart, you’ll be hard pressed to find a coffee shop with a better mission, better people, or better coffee than Kind Grounds. Their four specialty coffees are named after their four pillars and each one is unique and exceptional. Looking forward to seeing this tiny space grow into and institution in this lovely residential community!

Really comfortable and friendly spot, which is exactly what I'm looking for when I want to hang out and enjoy a cup of coffee. I ordered a regular hot latte and it was perfect. There are comfy chairs, a little outdoor patio area, and free wifi.

Been coming to Kind Grounds for more than a year. The owners and staff are stellar which says something in a city where customer service is often lacking. This place is full of charm and positivity coupled with amazing lattes and pastries! Also wanted to add this place does have parking. For the prior commenter, there are 3 spots on the side of the bldg. Plenty of off street parking in the neighborhood is also available.

What a pleasant surprise. A bit off the Beaton path. I had a most excellent Triple Cappuccino in an unpretentious relaxing environment. An interesting assortment of both savory and sweet pastries. I’ve found a new hiding/hangout spot.

My first time visiting. It’s a small quaint place. The organic coffee is very good. I enjoyed the Americano I ordered so much, I ordered two. I will definitely be back.

The Iced Golden Chai Latte is amaazing! Service is efficient and the vibe is so cute. Someone removed a star for not allowing dogs into the establishment (they can be in the cute patio area). I COMMEND this place for enforcing a LAW that all places with food service should also enforce. Thank you for keeping safety and cleanliness of upmost importance. I love this place!

Update 2025 - someone else mentioned they are not dog friendly and that’s pretty much true. These days for a coffee shop, dog friendly means friendly inside - they are not dog friendly in that sense. You must be on the patio which is small but looks nice. Ideally they would have this information on the website, but they do have a sign.

loved the coffee here and the PIES especially. very nice they had a type of pie for both meat eaters and non-meat eaters. My husband got the shepherd's pie while I ate the mushroom one. so good. def coming back just for the pie, even though for the size it was a little expensive 11$~ . Depending on your appetite, it couldve been just the right amount (me) or slightly bigger (my husband). the coffee was also very good. we added in honey which had a fruity hint to it. cute interior with nice artwork and plants on the wall ! i dont think this location is the best though - i dont imagine theres a lot of foot traffic and there aren't a lot of things around except a small corner shopping center. however, there are apts nearby so maybe it gets more customers than i realize. we only saw this place driving by bc there was a crowd outside the front door.

Bit pricey for my budget and what I ordered, but I think the coffee may be promising. I ordered the matcha and had no taste of matcha. Also a bit pricey but I liked the environment- pastries seemed good.

My grandmother visited this shop and was told they do NOT accept cash. This is in clear violation of Los Angeles code. We will be reporting them. Hopefully the fine they are levied will change the policy forthwith.
