Il cibo è ottimo! Il pesce è fresco, leggero, ben cucinato e di Qualità! Buoni antipasti, il pane (ahime ne ho mangiato, tanto era caldo e saporito). I dolci: un tiramisù (decorato con una candelina per il mio compleanno) e una meringa SQUISITI!!! Vi consiglio di provarli😍

Osteria che trasuda di storia.....fin da fuori con l'insegna old style che ti invita ad entrare. Mangiato cicchetti favolosi e trippa alla parmigiana con polenta strepitosa.Dolce mousse al cioccolato e pere toooppp. Servizio 10 e lode...con chicca la raccolta delle briciole sul tavolo.🤙 Va assolutamente provato!!!

Cibo spaziale, cucinato benissimo, materia prima di qualità. Sembra di mangiare dalla nonna ma in chiave moderna su alcuni aspetti. Persino l’ olio è buonissimo. Accoglienza del cliente splendida, ci siamo sentiti coccolati in un ambiente piccolo ed intimo. Venite ♥️

Abbiamo cenato ieri sera io e il mio compagno. Il cameriere molto gentile e ci ha fatto due spritz aperto buonissimi!!!!!! La cucina ottima, noi abbiamo provato fegato con le cipolle e polenta e seppia al nero con polenta davvero ottimi piatti!! Lo consiglio

Una delle osterie più antiche della città, con un menù curato e con possibilità di senza glutine quasi completa. Il locale è piccolo come molti edifici storici ma ben organizzato e non caotico. Il titolare è stato gentilissimo e disponibile. Abbiamo mangiato bene e il prezzo era coerente.

Wonderful, off the beaten track osteria in Venice. We had the restaurant to ourselves and the full attention of our waiter. Lovely warm and cozy setting, very authentic. We had a very warm romantic and leisurely dinner with wine. Our dishes were tasty and very filling. We didn't realize a bib would be necessary for the red sauce dish you see in the pictures. That was great quite the event. But highly recommend to anyone visiting Venice.

This quaint restaurant offers delicious traditional Venetian cuisine and excellent (English-friendly) service. The dining room is small but that just lends it more charm. We tried the ciccheti to start, then the spaghetti alle vongole and the gnocchi alla scogliera. Everything was incredible!

I loved this place. Amazing food. Amazing service. A very small, yet charming, restaurant with spectacular food. We tried their gnocchi and tagliata di tonno. Perfectly cooked tuna with the mashed potatoes and spinach is unbelievably simple yet mind-blowing. Also, make sure to get their Tiramisu. Probably our favorite version of tiramisu we ate in Venice.

This place had a very cozy atmosphere with authentic food. A little off the beaten path but definitely worth the walk. We had pesto gnocchi and the mix seafood (grilled calamari, tuna, sea bass, and scallops). They had the menu available in English and Italian. As decor, they had several memories posted as art of different celebrities that had visited the restaurant as well as food articles written. The plating was better. I decide to take a photo after enjoying a few.

Delicious food at this small little restaurant! Seafood platter appetizer was delicious, everything was so yummy. They did a phenomenal job on the mix of flavors. The ragu was also perfect. Lots of great flavors and loved the freshness of the pasta. The gnocchi pesto was delicious. It was unique compared to other gnocchis, kinda softer and “marshmallow” like. Very good! The strawberry dessert was so yummy I would recommend! The service was also great! Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. We did wait at the door for a bit wondering how to get seated. Just walk up to the bar Recommend using mosquito repellent before coming as there are a ton of mosquitoes. It is a smaller space though where you’re sitting close to others, so that’s my only thing. But it wasn’t really bad. Came on a Sunday night at prime time dinner and had no wait. Thought pricing was great. Very fair pricing; I thought it was on the cheaper side. Overall, I recommend!

We accidentally stumbled upon this tiny, cute restaurant while searching for a local dinner spot, and it turned out to be one of the best meals of our entire Italy trip! We started with the calamari appetizer, which was incredibly fresh and delicious, especially paired with the legume sauce. The pastas were cooked to perfection, and the sauces were absolutely to die for. The traditional Venetian cuttlefish was a standout — I would highly recommend trying it!

I came here on a whim for my last dinner in Venice, and I'm glad I got in early enough to walk in. The back of the menu is all gluten free with many choices. I tried a mixed salad, scallops, tagliatelle bolognese, Venetian cuttlefish, and tiramisu. All dishes were excellent, but the pasta and dessert stood out! Our server was wonderful and very helpful. She was the only one running the show and did a great job with a full restaurant.

I found this place on the fork app and made a reservation. I personally thought this place was a little more on the pricier end for dinner; my mom and I shared an appetizer, first course plate, and dessert along with 1 spritz which came out to about €73. Despite this, every single thing we had was so delicious and by far one of the highlight meals we’ve had so far during our trip in multiple cities in Italy. The restaurant didn’t feel like an insane tourist trap to me, I would recommend and maybe try lunch for slightly cheaper prices!

Wonderful, small Ostaria with fantastic food. Very nice and professional Ostaria Antico Dolo. Fantastic white house wine and wonderful Prosecco. For starters we had the best scallops we have ever eaten. For the main course, an insanely good tuna steak and fantastic octapus with spicy sauce and pollenta. An all-round successful dinner. The only criticism is the small dining tables.

One of the best meals we had in Venice! Extremely underrated. Great calamari as the appetizer, first courses were scallop papardelle and prawn black taglioloni, main course was the cuttlefish with polenta. Excellent food and great service! Charming, hole-in-the-wall restaurant with friendly staff. My mom and I had an extensive gluten free friendly menu to choose from. Including multiple dessert options! Per un tocca e fuggi a Venezia, non abbiamo voluto fare un pranzo con l’antipasto primo e secondo perché volevamo goderci il giro e quindi abbiamo optato per un bel primo piatto di linguine al nero di seppia con mazzancolle che era super gustoso e un filetto di branzino con radicchio in saor e a parte patate al forno. Le patate erano molto buone e croccanti e non troppo unte. Il branzino era molto buono, ma forse un pochino troppo untuoso. Il servizio è stato molto buono e nell’aspettare i piatti ci hanno anche portato del buon pane caldo da pucciare in olio buonissimo. Il dolce era molto particolare, una specie di semifreddo alla meringa con meringhe a pezzetti croccanti e lamponi e cioccolata sciolta sopra molto equilibrato e non troppo dolce. Ci sono solo rimasta un pochino male per il branzino, perché c’era scritto che tutti i secondi erano serviti con la polenta bramata, l mi sono sbagliata io ma mi sembrava di aver letto bene . Osteria ben collocata nel cuore di Venezia, con strada privata interna che ben ripara dal rumore della città. Locale ottimo sia per un aperitivo di qualità che per un pranzo. In questi due giorni ho bevuto diversi spritz, ma questo è stato senza dubbio quello che ho apprezzato di più. Cicchetti buoni, soprattutto la polentina con il baccalà mantecato! Bigoli al pomodoro piccante semplici ma molto gustosi. Spaghetti alle vongole buoni nonostante ci fosse decisamente troppo olio. Molto buona la crema del Tiramisù. Mio gusto personale, lo preferisco coi savoiardi piuttosto che con gli amaretti come mi è parso fosse fatto. 45 euro a testa, onesto per quanto mangiato e per Venezia.

Osteria tipica di Venezia!! Qui potrete assaggiare i tipici cicchetti veneziani con pesce fresco e non solo... Il ragazzo che vi servirà conosce alla perfezione la qualità dei prodotti e da dove provengono.Sono aperti anche dopo le due.

My friend and I visited this restaurant on our trip to Venice. I got the pappardelle with veal and she got the gnocchi pesto. The pappardelle was amazing (best I’ve had in my trip so far), however my friend’s pesto was a little underwhelming. We also got clams and oysters in sauce for appetizer and it was soooo delicious. The food for me was a 5/5, however the service was a little slow, but it was worth it for the delicious food.

Great calamari, average pasta (bit small portion) and disappointing tiramisù -more detailed review as requested- Thanks for your reply. I left a 4/5 review because we did enjoy parts of the meal. And the service was lovely! To clarify my comments: We ordered three pasta dish: one was very good, one had sections where the pasta was stuck together, and the gnocchi was overly mushy— so soft that it lacked texture. As for the tiramisù, the base was very wet — more like soggy bread soaked in coffee than a creamy dessert. When we took a bite, it was mostly liquid. To me that’s not very enjoyable. I understand taste can be subjective, and it’s great others enjoy it, but I wanted to be honest about our experience in case it’s helpful.

We had the anchovy and onion pasta and artichoke and prawn pasta which are meant to be venitian authentic dishes. Tasted eh. not worth the price either which was around 20-26€ per plate. The waiter was very sweet and did recommend those plates but definately under expectation. Additionally, i doubt that this place is local/authentic as we were only surrounded by tourists…
