Che idea originale quella di incastonare un ristorante sfruttando le sale di uno dei tanti splendidi palazzi storici di Brescia. ero leggermente intimorito dalle foto postate su GMaps e anche preoccupato per alcune recensioni riguardanti il trattamento ma devo dire che ,o per fortuna o perchè magari abbiano tratto insegnamento dalle critiche-cosa buona e giusta- abbiamo trascorso una bella serata in un ambiente tranquillo e rilassato nella sua eleganza con sufficiente privacy ed un buon servizio che tocca il suo punto più alto quando lo Chef porta al tavolo il carrello dei dolci e con dovizia di particolari li descrive uno ad uno.. e sono tanti😅. Si diciamo che Il Rivale non è un posto per tutte le tasche ma non deve esserlo per forza e si io dico che se si vuole passare una serata speciale con del bel trucco e fare bella figura questo è il posto giusto perchè la proposta culinaria è di ottimo livello e con quantità giuste se non anche abbondanti quando si parla dei primi piatti. Carta( tablet..) dei vini infinita con proposte anche al bicchiere. Io dico che si può risparmiare in tante altre cose futili durante l’anno e regalarsi/regalare alla propria compagna/o 2 ore speciali! E lo sono state.

Esperienza culinaria che rasenta la perfezione. Il ristorante è sito vicino a Piazza Vittoria in un palazzo storico di Brescia ed elegante. Siamo stati in questo ristorante per festeggiare il nostro anniversario, era la prima volta per entrambi. L’ambiente è ben curato e ogni stanza presente nel ristorante è a ‘tema’ e dipinge un contesto diverso; ciò che balza subito all’occhio è sicuramente il soffitto sfarzoso, per il resto tutte le stanze mantengono come minimo comun denominatore uno stile ricercato. Il personale è gentile e preparato. Disponibile anche a spiegare i piatti e a offrire consigli. Cena composta da: entrée, antipasto, primo, pre-dolce, dolce e post-dolce. I piatti oltre ad essere particolari ed estremamente belli erano soprattutto buoni. La peculiarità di questo posto è sicuramente l’azzardo e il conseguente accostamento di sapori e ingredienti innovativi. Apprezzatissimo anche l’accompagnamento del pane. Prezzi non alla portata di tutti, ma soldi ben spesi, fidatevi. Abbiamo notato come i particolari siano fondamentali in questo posto. Piccola perla nascosta nel centro della città.

Ti rendi conto che si tratta di una pasticceria/ristorante alzando lo sguardo e vedendo sventolare lo stendardo bordeaux. La location storica è splendida, raffinata, impreziosita da affreschi, marmi, stucchi dorati e pavimenti alla veneziana. Meravigliosa la terza stanza, arredata con divanetti in velluto rosso e tavolini in vetro, che riflettono il maestoso soffitto. La prima e la quarta(ristorante)stanza, risultano più che in stile fusion, un po' troppo kitsch. Poltroncine in vimini, vasi dupe Ming,lampadari a lanterna cinese, moquette leopardata e tigri sia dipinte che in ceramica...ma è puramente una questione di gusto personale. Bagni in stile liberty con mega specchio ad alveare, perfettamente igienizzati. Per quanto riguarda la pasticceria, ho trovato delizioso il croissant alla marmellata di frutti di bosco. Croccante fuori e morbido dentro. L'acidità dei frutti di bosco si sposa perfettamente con la burrosità dell'impasto. Caffè di qualità, così come il latte di soia, con il quale è stato macchiato, denso e schiumoso. Il personale è gentilissimo, attento e sorridente...lo si intuisce dagli occhi. Per chi si lamentasse dei costi...guardate che in qualsiasi pasticceria di Brescia, degna di questo nome, i prezzi al tavolo, sono molto simili e la location non è certo minimamente paragonabile a questa. Pulizia impeccabile. Complimenti!

A charming place, right in the center of Brescia, inside a historic building. Refined dishes, top-quality ingredients, friendly staff, and impeccable service made my boyfriend's birthday lunch perfect. P.S., the dessert trolley is the real highlight! A culinary experience I would repeat!

Today, my wife and I, instead of going to Acquariva for lunch, decided to try this restaurant in the center of Brescia. The location is beautiful and refined, the food excellent, and the dessert bar truly delicious. An excellent experience, we'll definitely be back.

A wonderful, luxurious place, with an enchanting atmosphere featuring soft lighting and candles, and Michelin-starred service. The hospitality is exceptionally courteous, from helping you take off your coat to helping you put it back on if you need to go out for a smoke; huge tables, super comfortable chairs, and purse holders. The staff is always attentive and on hand to pour you water and wine, clear the table, and more. The dishes are excellent and high-quality, with a welcome entree from the chef, but the most unique and beautiful thing is the dessert trolley at the end... everything deliciously perfect for a special and certainly unforgettable evening!

An excellent choice for a romantic dinner. Elegant and refined location just outside Brescia's city center. The staff are friendly and attentive. The food is excellent and carefully prepared. Parking is a two-minute walk away. 🚶

I booked this restaurant for a romantic date, and it was definitely worth it. As soon as we arrived, we were struck by the building that houses the restaurant, an extremely elegant 18th-century building. Valet service is also available: nothing is left to chance. Up the stairs, you enter a refined yet warm atmosphere: each room has a theme; we ended up in the most striking one, with animalier details that we greatly appreciated. The waiters were attentive throughout the dinner: we began with the chef's entrée and bread with butter, then ordered pumpkin gnocchi with Grana Padano sauce and black truffle, a selection of cheeses, and a bottle of wine. Lastly, we dared to try the dessert tasting: the best choice we could have made. We were given a choice of four desserts from the dessert trolley, some of which were freshly prepared, like the tiramisu and the fruit tartlet. I highly recommend it. We're not from Brescia, but we hope to return to live this experience again.
