Locale che si affaccia sul mare di Monterosso. Ambiente spettacolare. È stata una delle cene più romantiche che ho fatto con la mia ragazza. Servizio impeccabile. Cibo più che gustoso a prezzi relativamente alti ma in linea con il target del posto e la qualità dei piatti. Complimenti a tutto lo staff.

Il cibo era straordinariamente buono. Il servizio è stato semplicemente eccellente. Ci hanno servito un antipasto compreso nel prezzo eppure a fine cena ci hanno offerto una selezione di liquori. Sicuramente non è il posto più economico dove andare ma la qualità del cibo insieme alla vista che assolutamente mozzafiato valgono assolutamente la spesa.

Ogni anno Torre Aurora è una tappa obbligatoria. Location come poche, vista meravigliosa su punta Mesco e su Monterosso. Ottima cucina, anche se paradossalmente non è il motivo principale per provare questo ristorante; l’atmosfera per quanto mi riguarda è ciò che conta in un posto come questo. Nonostante quattro anni tra alti e bassi nel menù il dessert rimane una certezza. Altamente consigliato per chi cerca un posto unico

Location mozzafiato in vecchio castello/fortezza, locale con impostazione premium il linea con il posto in cui si trova. Fatto solo aperitivo in quanto avevamo con i tempi organizzati, carta valida, servizio gentile ma onestamente leggermente lento, era cmq sabato. Carta ristorante di livello, di sicuro cena da fare: segnato!

Siamo stati a cena, tavolo 1 per due persone, vista fantastica su Monterosso vecchio ed in fondo si scorge Vernazza. Si nota la cura dei dettagli già dal primo momento in cui ci si siede al tavolo: luci soffuse, un entrée fenomenale, ambiente molto confortevole e finalmente la tranquillità di poter parlare con l'altra persona a bassa voce. Personale giovane molto gentile e simpatico. I piatti fantastici, come antipasto abbiamo preso un crudite di pesce freschissimo con le salse di accompagnamento fatte da loro molto delicate, buona anche il tabasco. Gnocchi freschi con cozze vongole crema di zucchine e limone delicatissimi. Linguine aglio olio con salsa di acciughe pinoli ciliegino tra i migliori mai mangiati, gusto deciso e la pasta al dente. I dolci buonissimi, leggeri e molto curati. Torneremo sicuramente!

Una cena meravigliosa in ogni senso ! Che vista e che atmosfera… Musica sottofondo soft e ricercata, luce soffusa sui tavoli, gente ai tavoli educata che non strillava e senza bambini che giocavano o disturbavano i commensali. Abbiamo chiesto un tavolo vista mare e ci è stato dato nella sala maggiore a ridosso del muretto. Servizio impeccabile, gentili e molto disponibili. Io ho preso gli gnocchi con cozze e vongole e che dire se non wow ! Mai mangiato gnocchi migliori !!! Serata davvero spettacolare molto suggestivo il tramonto. Prezzi consoni al servizio, qualità del cibo e location. Ci torneremo senz’altro !

Locale famoso a Monterosso, ideale per pranzo o cena oppure un aperitivo vista mare. Faccio una premessa: non capisco le critiche lette in altre recensioni riguardanti la qualità del cibo rispetto ai prezzi. È ovvio che Torre Aurora è un ristorante con un concept ben chiaro, offrire un'esperienza culinaria tipica in una cornice visivamente spettacolare. La cena ha soddisfatto ogni aspetto: il menù è breve ma vario(sintomo di qualità rispetto alla quantità), il personale è stato presente e professionale. Lodevoli i primi, il pescato utilizzato è di qualità e si sente; ottimi anche i dolci offerti. Se volete concedervi un momento intimo con una cucina ricercata ma tradizionale, Torre Aurora è ciò che cercate. Bravi!

Definisco questo posto come Incantevole. Come arrivi ai tavoli a sbalzo sul Mare ne vieni rapito e affascinato. Che sia per un Aperitivo o un pranzo il locale risulta informale la sera invece è assolutamente più romantico . Mi stupisco sempre un po’ a leggere le recensioni altrui dove si lamentano del prezzo; in fondo è ben segnalato sia su un menu prima di salire sulla torre che sul Menu. E poi la vista mare la volete regalata?? A parte questa mia considerazione, io trovo sia ben rapportato cura della location , qualità e prezzo. Merita i miei complimenti il giovane titolare di Torre Aurora.

Il ristorante più romantico in cui sia mai stato, a picco sul mare, posto veramente eccezionale! Il servizio è molto moderno, gentile e preparato! Ovviamente non si può tralasciare il cibo quando si parla di ristorante, ma anche in questo è veramente top, buonissimo in qualsiasi portata! Considerato il tutto, anche il prezzo (cmq molto elevato) è più che giusto e si paga con leggerezza! Se volete il ristorante migliore di Monterosso per una serata importante con la vostra dolce metà questo è il posto perfetto, imbattibile! P.S. unico neo, ha solo tavoli all'aperto e quindi quando piove penso sia chiuso... Anche per questo abbiamo avuto un piccolo problema di vespe, ma niente di insopportabile!

Posto bellissimo e caratteristico, con una vista davvero suggestiva sul mar ligure. Io e il mio ragazzo siamo stati di passaggio per un aperitivo verso ora di pranzo. Molto disponibili anche con gli ospiti accompagnati da cani.

Just soaked it in good food, friendly service and enjoyed soaking in God’s creation. Do yourself a favor and try the porchetta wrapped rabbit. There are no words for how incredible that was. The pesto gnocchi was also good, but slightly bland, add Parmigiano. Abbiamo pranzato in questo ristorante rinomato di Monterosso e ci siamo trovati bene. Location mozzafiato, veramente un gioiellino sulla costa ligure..se riuscite ad ottenere un tavolo che si affaccia sulla scogliera avrete una vista fantastica! I piatti sono gradevoli alla vista, buoni, direi pienamente sufficienti, menzione particolare al dolce, veramente gustoso; il personale è giovane e gentile con servizio rapido. I prezzi sono medio-alti ma si paga sicuramente la vista e il posto, che vi fa staccare dal marasma dei turisti. Consiglio vivamente di prenotare, se lo scopo è una cena romantica sul mare, questo locale è sicuramente la scelta giusta.

Esperienza romantica, con vista mare e atmosfera soffusa, in questo antico castello. Il personale è cordiale e veloce. I piatti buoni ma non abbastanza da giustificarne il prezzo, paghi la location. Per godere del posto migliore in terrazza è quindi bene prenotare con almeno 3 giorni d'anticipo.

This place was a great experience. Everywhere said to book a reservation but when we went late May we walked in at 6:30 no reservation and got a great table for 2. The views were really immaculate of the ocean and the town of Monterosso. Really stunning. The restaurant itself is in old ruins and the staff was very professional. We were treated with complimentary prosecco and a small bread appetizer with a small greens salad on top. Then a bread basket. We ordered the cod dish and the octopus pasta. The cod dish was very tender and good but did lack a little flavor. The octopus pasta on the other hand was very good and flavorful. Was a great dish. Service was great, food was pretty good, and the views were unbeatabale. We spent about 100 euro for two with a bottle of wine in that price.

Very nice view on the sea from the terrace, romantic - sashimi of marinated white fish is delicious! Linguini silo y peperoncino con ansjovis is good and a bit salty, spaghetti green pesto & basil is very good, the gnocchi seafood was good but a bit salty. In the end with the local white wine all blended well! Bravo 👏 We ended with limoncello which was very sweet and strong. A bit expensive, more than in Pisa.

Beautiful outlook and setting, servers are friendly and helpful, wine list features a lot of local wines that are moderately priced. The menu is nice but dominated by raw seafood. We went for lunch and dinner and found so much raw seafood a little overwhelming which is saying something as we love raw dishes. Some flavors of the dishes were a little off the mark, great ideas but execution was missing just a little. Definitely worth going and be sure to reserve in advance for dinneror arrive at 12:30pm to get a table at lunch

Posizione superba, assolutamente invidiabile. Sicuramente molto romantico di sera. Il posto di per sé merita 5 stelle. Ho assaggiato solo un. Primo di pesce ed il mio giudizio complessivo si basa sul mio piatto e quello degli altri commensali presenti. Il mio taglierino con il polpo, patate croccanti e olive in tutta sincerità non mi é piaciuto. Troppo sapido per il mio palato non si sentiva per niente il sapore di mare. Porzione giusta. Considerando che costava più di 20 euro mi aspettavo un'esplosione di gusto e di sapore in bocca che non c'è stata. Mi ha veramente delusa. Altre persone hanno invece preso il tonno e il baccalà rimanendo invece soddisfatti. Inaccettabile invece il costo del coperto, di ben 4 euro a persona, immotivato, considerato il servizio poco attento e curato, soprattutto per un locale di questo livello (abbiamo dovuto attirare la loro attenzione per ordinare un'altra acqua pur essendo il locale piuttosto vuoto in quel momento a pranzo ed il cameriere non si ricordava di chi fossero le portate ordinate quando le hanno portate a tavola mettendo un po' in difficoltà il cliente che era straniero). Il tavolo da 6 su cui abbiamo mangiato non era neanche del tutto stabile (essendo in una terrazza all'aperto con pavimentazione non liscia ci può stare forse qualche problema, ma ciò non toglie che traballava e che abbiamo pagato 4 euro a testa per la voce coperto/servizio). Perché 3 stelle e non meno? 1) Per la posizione da urlo che fa sognare 2) perché ho mangiato in questo locale una sola volta e 1 sola portata che non mi é piaciuta per cui troppo poco per dire che tutta la cucina non é all'altezza 3)a parte il conto troppo salato che non é piaciuto a nessuno (neanche ai clienti stranieri) gli altri commensali sono rimasti soddisfatti del loro piatto.

Ci siamo recati ad una cena con previa prenotazione, siamo stati chiamati nel pomeriggio per avere la conferma. Siamo stati fatti accomodare alle 21 spaccate siccome prima il tavolo non era pronto, quindi è inutile arrivare in anticipo. Per noi è stato scelto un tavolo proprio di fronte all'ingresso dei camerieri in cucina quindi molto movimentato, non è stato possibile rilassarci per il continuo via e vai. Servizio eccellente, davvero impeccabile per la gentilezza e la cortesia, nonostante ciò credo che 4€ di coperto siano esagerati. Come entrèe ci sono stati serviti delle polpette di pesce con maionese all'aglio, calici di prosecco e pane/schiacciatina. Poca scelta nel menù, soprattutto per chi riporta intolleranze alimentari (è pubblicato all'esterno del ristorante quindi mi permetto di pubblicarlo), prezzi fuori misura per la quantità. I piatti sono di qualità, senza dubbio, ma siamo usciti affamati e abbiamo speso 60€. Il caffè a 3€ è una ladrata, mi dispiace ma non vale tutti quei soldi. Inoltre al momento del servizio dei piatti ci sono state portate le salse per condire il primo e il secondo, senza chiedere se lo avessimo voluto (per esempio il mio compagno ha preso dei tagliolini al nero di seppia che mi sarebbe piaciuto assaggiare, ma essendo arrivata la cameriera a versarci sopra la burrata prima che potessimo dirle qualcosa, non ho potuto mangiare il piatto a causa delle mie intolleranze).

Un posto con vista meravigliosa. Tavolini immersi nel verde. Piatti preparati con molta cura e impegno. L'unica pecca l'errore nella comanda mi ha fatto aspettare un ora per una battuta al coltello. Spero nella prossima volta.

This place is pretty average food wise, it’s in a good location therefore pricy for 5 terre standards. You can only book by phone and you need to remember to reconfirm three days before your reservation otherwise it will be cancelled. Like many touristy places in Italy where you don’t get the benefit of the presence of the owner and the waiters are poorly paid and careless it quickly becomes sad and soulless. No wifi which is inconvenient given phone reception is poor everywhere in 5 terre.

Honestly unbelievable how in a such a beautiful place can be such horrible tasteless food. For Italy it is a quite pricy place which is okay if it would be really good. We ordered baked seafood starter which was tiny and without any taste, for main we ordered lobster pasta which was okay and squid pasta which was so horrible that I literally returned it fully back. We had an attack of bees at our table and nobody cared. Only after we asked they moved us to another table with a nicer view. When the waiter saw that I returned untouched pasta and asked how was our dinner, I said the food was terrible. She said okay, thank you. And left. We paid 110€ for two and it was such a disappointment. The view is beautiful but I strongly don’t recommend to eat anything there. By the way tables to have aperitif looks much nicer than dinning tables. I would definitely recommend to go there for drinks. View is top. Service is careless. Food is disaster. Very shameful for Italy.

We came here based on reviews and knew we’d either have an incredible experience or an expensive and average experience. It is very expensive and the prices are definitely accepted because of the view, which is stunning. Make sure you walk around the whole restaurant. Just the raw seafood platter was almost €40 and it was SO small. The menu has a lot of local wines which is lovely. The two pasta dishes we got were underwhelming and felt like there was something missing - a bit of flare etc. Total bill for a shared starter and two pastas, with a bottle of wine was €137. We booked in advance for dinner and were seated on the town side of the restaurant and not the sea side. Perhaps request the sea side if you book in advance. Or just go for a drink and save yourself a lot of money.

We went to have dinner in what should have been one of the most beautiful spots in Monterosso, at the top of the hill with stunning views. Unfortunately, what began as a promising meal quickly turned into one of the worst dining experiences of my life. The restaurant was absolutely infested with mosquitoes. It wasn’t just one or two. It was an invasion!! A mosquito even landed in my glass of water, and I had to constantly protect my wine from them. I personally killed several mosquitoes at the table, and still ended up with multiple bites. Every single table around us was struggling, and another couple even told us they had already killed around 50. What makes this worse is that the staff did absolutely nothing about it. No apology, no attempt to help, no acknowledgement — just complete indifference, as if this was normal. For a fine dining restaurant (with prices to match), this is unacceptable. The location is undeniably beautiful, but never in my life have I had to fight off so many bugs while trying to enjoy a meal. It was not just unpleasant — it was truly disgusting, and it completely ruined what should have been a memorable dinner in my travel in Italy.

Great Food, Poor Service, Possible Bias Asian customers, you might wanted to think twice before dinning at this restaurant. On May 11, 2025, our dinner was disappointing despite excellent food. We waited 47 minutes for our pasta after a prompt starter, while all seven nearby tables, ordered later, were served quickly. The manager claimed it’s a “slow-paced” restaurant but offered no apology, dismissively saying, “The dishes are ready, do you still want them?” While paying, I noticed an unrequested discount and objected, seeking fairness, not money. Only then did the waiter apologize, admitting a mix-up, but this felt too late. The disparity in service and delayed accountability made us question if our Asian background played a role. Potential diners, especially from diverse backgrounds, should be cautious. We won’t return without major improvements.
