The family restaurant La Crocetta is located on the top of a hill outside the sleepy Ligurian village of Moglio. NB! Don't be put off by the decor, which has been the same for years. Wooden chairs, large paper lanterns on the ceiling, in short, not exactly a dazzling atmosphere. But this is Italy and all the large families from the area no longer see this and come, just like us, for the simple but excellent cuisine. Because it is excellent. The steaks are freshly cut and grilled in the wood-fired oven. The pasta’s and pizzas are all homemade. Be surprised not only by this excellent food and the friendly service but also by the reasonable price and the fabulous outdoor terrace with ditto view! It is useful to call in advance because the evenings are often busy. If necessary, they will answer your reservation in different languages.
Beautiful location. Good food. Friendly staff. The place is clean and nice. Just go here and eat, you won't be disappointed.

Stunning views and quite an experience to get up there. Very friendly staffing and very tasty and good Italian kitchen. We did have pizza and ravioli. The meat was excellent as well. I did have a beef cut. The pizza is great for an appetizer. Don’t worry about the size. They only charge you a few euro for it. Plus they tell you! Very fair!

Great place for families with kids (mine 2 and 4 years old) but also for adults, we was fifteen friends. Amazing meat steak, young and available waiters. We will come back for sure. Compliments to the owners.

Saturday lunch after a walk in the hills. Peace and quiet, fresh pasta, cordial patrons, beautiful view of hills and sea. What more to ask for?

We chose this location for a quick dinner. The panoramic terrace offers a beautiful sea view, but the interior needs updating. The staff was friendly, helpful, and courteous. The appetizers weren't particularly good, but the fried food was good.
Cycling through the hills of Alassio, we came across this place and decided to stop for lunch! After a kilometer of climbing, we really needed a break, and this was the perfect spot! Quiet area, friendly staff, and a welcoming space with indoor seating and an outdoor terrace. I recommend it to anyone passing through the area!
The restaurant has a breathtaking view of the Alassio gulf, you are practically immersed in tranquility and nature. The dishes are very fresh, but for example the 600g veal heifer, despite its goodness, disappointed me for the high presence of fat, in addition to the fact that it was absolutely not 600 grams.
A good, home-style inn. Unfortunately, the food isn't "truly" Italian – the antipasti plate was a bit boring, and only a small portion of it actually featured regional products – carrot and coleslaw "a la Homann" with mayonnaise. And the pizzas were just so-so. BUT: A very, very beautiful view of Alassio and the surrounding mountains!!
We ordered to take away, it was easy and quick. But for the price we payed for our pizzas we didn't expect them so small. We thought it was a joke, the pizzas are for this price way to small!! The taste was so lala (ok). Wouldnt recommend. Für die Deutschen: In der Nähe gibt es ein geilen Campingplatz, so als snack zwischen durch ist es ok.

NCS...we didn't...the menu and plating were stuck in 1971...we waited an hour for a (very normal) grilled meal...they brought me the side dish after 50 minutes, though... The young waitress was very nice...
