We chose risotto alla Milanese with osso buco and venison with potatoes. The meat was cooked to perfection, and the game was perfect. The desserts cheered us up, especially since it had started to rain. The staff was incredibly friendly. The rooms are beautiful; the stove, fireplace, and antiques make the meal very homely. Highly recommended, a restaurant discovered by chance. It's located in a small village (Lazzago) in a huge park. It's close to Como and easy to get to, yet feels like you're in the countryside. The food is good, the portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. Pay attention to closing days, as it's not always open. There's also a parking lot next to the park entrance gate. I recommend leaving your car there and continuing on foot (2-3 minutes, less than 1 km) because the village streets are very narrow and there aren't many parking spots.

Despite the greenery all around, the outdoor seating isn't cool, but between the tiles and the awning, it's downright stifling. Especially on very hot summer days, like when we were there. The staff is all female, kind, helpful, and attentive. The mixed antipasti weren't great: sliced ​​cured meats, goat's cheeses, and a Russian salad that was definitely not homemade, but rather straight from the supermarket tray. The vegetable tart was good. The grilled meat was delicious, tender and cooked to perfection. The desserts were good. The price was fair.
