A dream Ferragosto holiday at Agriturismo La Boffalora 🌞 The Ferragosto lunch at Agriturismo La Boffalora was an unforgettable experience, one that stays in your heart. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the owner, Stella, a very kind person who truly makes you feel at home, with a sincere smile and rare helpfulness. The menu, rich and carefully prepared (you can find it in the attached image), was a true journey through traditional flavors: from delicious appetizers like venison salami and Mediterranean-style local eggs, to savory first courses including tagliatelle with wild boar ragù and delicately filled summer ravioli. The second courses were a triumph: braised foal, rabbit in ValCalepio, and roast potatoes scented with rosemary, all accompanied by a hearty polenta that tastes like home. The portions were generous, and we were delighted to receive seconds of every course! It's not often you get treated like this. All accompanied by an excellent house wine. To finish on a sweet note, a fruit salad with vanilla ice cream and a good coffee. And as if that weren't enough, I purchased two artisanal jams—strawberry and berry—with an authentic and genuine flavor. A unique treat, which I was delighted to take home (even if they won't last long, they'll sell out quickly!). The location deserves a special mention: a breathtaking panoramic view of all of Bergamo, all the way to Milan, which alone is worth the visit. Highly recommended for those who love authentic cuisine, a family atmosphere, and enchanting landscapes. Heartfelt thanks to all the staff for making our Ferragosto holiday so special. This agriturismo is a little gem. I went for dinner with my family and a friend. The welcome was very warm, the food was authentic, good, and plentiful, just as a true agriturismo should be. The helpfulness and kindness of the staff are an added bonus. Furthermore, the place is beautiful: welcoming, intimate, and familiar. The view is breathtaking. It's the perfect place to unwind and spend a pleasant evening. Here you'll find true hospitality and quality. The prices are excellent. I find this place and the quality of the food to be exceptional. We've been there several times for lunch and dinner, both as a couple and with friends, and we've always had a great time. The quality of the ingredients is superb, and they make everything in-house, so you can be sure of a great experience. We even had a company dinner there, and everyone was happy. I'd say that alone is a great recommendation!

Dinner under the Stars I'm a regular at this agriturismo. The food is excellent and reasonably priced (the menu is usually €35, from appetizer to dessert, all homemade), and the food is locally sourced, from wine to salami, pickles, and pasta. You always leave with a full stomach because they always leave with seconds. Even for baptisms and communions, the place always impresses with guests who are amazed by the enchanting view outside, while the little ones always enjoy playing in the play area. A special mention goes to the "dinner under the stars" they organize every year, which I always try not to miss. This year, I brought a couple of friends with us, and they were pleasantly surprised by the view, the food, and the kindness of the staff, which makes you feel pampered, part of a family, like at grandma's house :-)

A well-known local agriturismo; you can call to make reservations for lunches and events on weekends. The atmosphere is welcoming, perhaps a little too warm. The staff is friendly, helpful, and cheerful. As for the food, it's nothing special; even the game dishes seemed a little bland compared to the usual game dishes. Everything is produced on-site, and the persimmons in oil are unique, striking in their distinctive flavor. The opportunity to wander the estate and see the farm animals is lovely. The price is very fair, definitely a strong point.
