Complimenti !
Wow!
Siete bravi !!! Assolutamente raccomandato !!!
What an experience ! Fantastic apetizer (sardinas fried to perfection with a simple home made mayonaise) and ensalata de bacalao with grapefruit and olives. My taste sense just exploded. Luckily there was a glass of the finest sauvignon to help getting back to earth 🙈😇. Delicious it was. Thank you very much.
We had a fantastic evening at Osteria Rosso Divino. Tucked just a few streets away from Corso Umberto, the restaurant’s beautiful outdoor courtyard made for a perfect setting. The menu was extremely fresh and thoughtfully composed, with fantastic daily specials that showcased the best local ingredients. The staff were warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable making the experience feel both personal and refined. Highly recommend! Grazie mille! 🇮🇹✨
We like off the beaten path, and this lovely Osteria was recommended by another restaurant we often frequented in Scilla. The food was amazing, the service exceptional, and the best tiramisu we've had in Italy so far (and we try them all). It truly was an exquisite experience. Be prepared to pay the price as it was the most expensive meal albeit one of the best. If you want something truly different and have no worries about the bill, then I suggest you try it. The price was worth the experience.
The service was genuine and warm, and they weren’t pushy to upsell. I appreciated their clear explanation of the catch of the day, including the offer to have the fish prepared in two ways: Sicilian capers and sultana stew, and homemade breadcrumbs. The fish was fresh and perfectly cooked. Kudos to the service team and chef!
This restaurant was the best in Taormina and among the best in Sicily. The owner seated us and explained the menu and described the food in such a luscious manner I wanted the entire selection. The owner clearly is passionate about high quality food and service and it shows in her enthusiasm and the quality of the meal and overall experience. Service was amazing and the staff was really on point! Owner gave amazing wine recommendations to pair with the food. The seafood sampler appetizer was the best I’ve ever had, so fresh! Location is to die for, a few streets away from the main Corso Umberto so not noisy, and the atmosphere was a very old world feel, very romantic as well. This restaurant is really at the top of their game and owner and staff showed us true Sicilian hospitality and quality. I would return to Taormina literally just to dine here!
Tucked into a candle-lit square off the Main Street in Taormina, our meal at Rosso Divino was exceptional. Local Sicilian wine and a whole snapper cooked two ways were the standouts of the meal. The service team was friendly, helpful and highly professional. If you’re looking for a special meal out in Taormina that is worth the price-tag, 10/10 would recommend.
The best food and wine we’ve had in Taormina so far. Primarily a fish menu, and everything we ate fish or otherwise was exceptional. The staff were brilliant and made a huge effort with our two year old daughter which we appreciate. Note for others, our child’s dish which was altered / smaller, was still charged at full price.
Mouth-watering from start to finish! Tucked into a little side street (just follow the candles!), this spot is pure magic. There are only a few tables set up along the quaint street outdoors, so definitely reserve ahead. For primi, we had the gnocchi and the spaghetti al nero di seppia – both in generous portions and absolutely delicious (each bite somehow better than the last). For secondi, we went with the fish of the day, served half Sicilian style and half with breadcrumbs and lemon zest wonderfully fresh, and paired with veggies that made the whole dish sing. The service was spot on: attentive without being overbearing. They recommended a wine that not only paired beautifully with our meal but was exactly what we were craving. All in all, a truly delightful dining experience we’d happily repeat!
We returned here following our fond memories from our last visit, and it was just as wonderful as we remembered. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the experience ended perfectly with a memorable grappa. Truly a place worth coming back to again and again. Reservations are highly recommended!
An Unforgettable Culinary Gem in the Heart of Taormina On our final evening in the enchanting town of Taormina, we wanted a dining experience that felt truly special—something that captured the spirit of Sicily and left us with a lasting memory. Osteria Rosso Divino delivered that and so much more. Tucked away on a charming side street, this beautiful restaurant had been highly recommended by our Italian travel agent. Even without a reservation, we were greeted with warm smiles and gracious hospitality, and seated right away—a gesture that instantly made us feel at home. Soon after, a lovely woman approached our table with the kind of warmth and enthusiasm that can’t be faked. She carefully walked us through the day’s offerings, painting each dish with such vivid detail and passion that we found ourselves hanging on every word. We ultimately chose the fresh red snapper—expertly prepared two ways. One half was dressed with golden toasted breadcrumbs and a delicate hint of orange citrus; the other was served Sicilian-style with olives, sweet raisins, sun-ripened tomatoes, and fresh aromatic herbs. The result? Absolute perfection. Each bite told a story—of sea, sun, and tradition. The flavors were bold yet balanced, deeply rooted in local heritage but executed with a level of finesse that spoke to true culinary artistry. To our surprise and delight, we later discovered that the woman who had so eloquently described the menu was in fact the owner. That revelation added an extra layer of heart to an already beautiful evening. It’s rare to feel such an authentic connection to a place while dining, but this was one of those rare, magical moments. If you find yourself in Taormina, do not miss Osteria Rosso Divino. It’s not just a meal—it’s an experience. A true celebration of Sicilian flavors, heartfelt hospitality, and the kind of charm that stays with you long after the last bite.
Amazing Lunch! The service was outstanding and the food was perfection. Our wonderful hostess provided us with an excellent recommendation for wine as well. Don’t miss this one if you are in Taormina. The seafood and produce was fresh and prepared to complement their natural flavors. I will remember this lunch forever:)
We ordered “catch of the day”- fresh red snapper weighing 1.4kg, cooked in 2 ways. First dish: Oven baked and covered with pistachio-herbs-breadcrumbs, topped with orange zest and served with rainbow chard at the side. The fish was crispy outside, but the meat was juicy and moist inside. You can taste the sweetness of the fish and the breadcrumbs added good texture. Rainbow chard was sweet. Second dish: prepared in Sicilian style, with tomatoes, capers, olives, raisins, potatoes. Soup taste really sweet. Well balanced with sweetness of fish while capers and tomatoes gives the mouth watering, saltier and savory profile. Unfortunately, there was no air conditioning and it was a hot day. Luckily we were offered cold wet towels to cool down.
Osteria Rosso Divino one of the best fish restaurants in Taormina. quality of the raw materials is excellent, the raw and tartare are worth trying, the mix of very tender and super tasty smoked fish is interesting. Their main dishes are the first courses with lobster and sea urchins, a selection of excellent fish and preparations linked to tradition. Their very good desserts cannolini top. special thanks to the landlady Jacqueline as she presents you with dishes and a show, great passion and absurd knowledge of wines
Amazing, fresh food. Friendly, kind staff. Great atmosphere. We were greately taken care of. We had the peach dessert and fell in love with it; so light and delicious. Fresh John Dory fish (ugly fish, delicious dish) for main course, sicillian style. So fulfilling! We were recommended the best local white wine to pair with the fish. The raw seafood plate was out of this world! If we end up in Taormina again, this will definitely be our first choice!
Our hearts undoubtedly belong to this ‘best-kept secret’ address! One of the best restaurants in the world and in my life! This place is owned and run by the most charming and friendly sisters, Sara and Jacqueline! We’ve tried many places in Taormina but ended up securing a space in this most delicious osteria for every single dinner until the end of our vacation. You will enjoy any dish from the menu and, of course, the best wine selection! Can’t wait to be back!

A wonderful meal and service provided by the two sisters who own this restaurant and their staff. Very cosy outdoor dining in a hidden area off Corso Umberto. Make sure to reserve ahead!
Osteria Rossodivino a Taormina.

This place is a bit hard to find, but we were welcomed with open arms. The staff was very friendly and did their absolute best to make us feel at home. The dinner started good with an appetizer that tasted really good, but the Main course was a huge dissapointment. I had the gnocchi which tasted okey and my girlfriend chose the fresh fish. The waiter talked a long time about how they could prepare the fish and we were convinced that this must be an excellent choice. But when the fish was served I could see the dissapointment in her eyes. The dish was so bland and had hardly any taste. 47 euro for that dish alene, not worth it to say the least. But the staff was so nice that we couldnt bare to tell them that the fish was awful. If you plan to go here, dont choose the fish, you will probably have a better experience if you choose another dish.
