Extremely welcoming staff The both raw and fried beef tongue are very tender. Really recommend trying beef tongue!
Packed place on a Sunday morning, beware! We took coffee to go, enjoyable. The inside looked cosy. I would have happily stayed.
In my personal top list when it comes to restaurants, worldwide. I would eat here at least once a week if I were living in Turin. Honest, simple, seasonal, local food, cooked with skill and knowledge of the ingredient. Plus, the only café I know that has a full time sommelier and sources most interesting, funky local bottles. Amazing, friendly staff, trying to accommodate you the best they can, even if there is a language barrier. A must for everyone. The only thing that could be changed is the coffee - I get it, it’s from the Turin’s old roastery, but still, these are burned, industrial coffee beans that taste like burned rubber. Specialty coffee is growing all over Italy and Piemonte has a few small, amazing roasteries as well, roasting ethically sourced, quality coffee. I hope you guys start working with one of them!
Incredible authentic restaurant, changing daily menu without too many options (which for me it’s always a good sign) My first visit in Turin I wanted something with combination of local, freshness, traditional but with twists and modern mindset, seasonal and a place that respects food, this place does all of the above and more. We ordered almost everything on the menu, 3 people, given that the dishes are medium, ir was perfect for sharing. The waiters were lovely and kind, great knowledge of the food and wine (for the wine we had a Sommelier who hit the spot with the red wine) The highlights: Vitello tonnato, Carne cruda alla vecchia maniera, Acciughe al verde, Baccalà (wow), panna cotta and nut cake for dessert. The atmosphere and vibes were great, open on Monday which is rear. Highly recommend!
A wonderfully appointed, beautifully presented, cut-above-the-rest restaurant in Torino, with stunning service. Absolutely delightful to be able to speak to a very knowledgeable waiter, whose knowledge of wines and spirits was impeccable, better than many someillers in the city. The food was just right portion-wise, imaginative yet not too sophisticated, adding a refreshing twist to traditional dishes like bollito, tongue and gorgonzola, hazelnuts and fig, salad while absolutely remaining true to their flavours and to the soul of Piedmont cuisine. The stunning neo gothic church of the Sacro Cuore stands proudly opposite provides the perfect frame, transforming the alfresco experience into a Stendhal moment. The wines and the spirits are way above what one might expect out of a trattoria. Highly recommended, absolutely no flaws. Well done!
I went there to have a dinner. It is not really a typical dinner place since the portions are small. But the food is cheap which means you can have several dishes for the peace of regular dinner. And the personnel is very well educated in vines thus they will suggest the most suitable vine for each dish. To conclude, it was not a dinner, it was an adventure! Great experience! Would like to visit again!
Friendliest folks in Turin, the owner and staff were incredibly accommodating, gave great recommendations for tasty and affordable wine, and served us delicious food. Excellent music taste as well.
My favourite spot on our trip to Turin. Fresh, beautifully cooked food with fantastic service in a rustic setting. Their staff were extremely welcoming and accommodating with us bringing our child and small dog. Great wines too - can’t wait to come back!
Food over the expectation. The place had a nice atmosphere and they pay attention to details. Long wine list from local winery. Superbe vitello tonnato and accurate presentation. Must try the panna cotta. It is able to offer vegetarian options without missing piemonte’s taste. I suggest this place to try the piemontes plates.
Great place for aperitivo. Food good although not enough for dinner. Good atmosphere and friendly staff. Veal in tuna sauce was good.

Very nice cheese plate, very kind waiter who translated the full menu for me in great detail, and what a treat to be offered two half glasses of two different local wines so you can have the best of both worlds! A gorgeous restaurant. The decor is like most people in Turin, effortlessly stylish!
I walked here from my hotel Turin Palace Sept. 15. The staff is very friendly, professional, and suggested many great wines. The food are smaller portions so I was able to try a few different ones. Overall I was not impressed by the food. The best was the veal served with tuna/anchovy sauce. The other plates were un-remarkable and the anchovies were salty, the dessert was a gelato but the fruit on top seemed applied in a sloppy manner like from a spoon from a jar.
