The food was fantastic the atmosphere super Romantic and old movie vibes, what can I say about the service it was the highlight of our night Mr. Max was more than helpful, nice and wonderful he explained everything for us helped us choosing the best steak and it was delicious and soft. We really enjoyed this elegant Argentinian restaurant. The meat was fantastic and the wine they recommended fabulous. What really stood out was the great service. The staff (all from South America) was really helpful and they kept on bringing many little “presents” throughout the dinner. You get a taste of many sauces and side dishes without asking. We will certainly be back once in Milan!

It was our final night in Milano, el Porteño was just down the road from our accommodation. We booked ahead no problems. We are english speaking (Australian) and had no problem ordering. The food, wine, music and service was exceptional. I would only mark down because they allowed someone bring their dog into the restaurant.

The paradise of meat! Not only is it of great quality, but it is also cooked on the embers: the combination of value meat and slow cooking gives an astonishing result - the meat is soft, juicy, it melts in the mouth. One of the bests I have ever eaten. No full marks due to the noisy guests, even though the interiors are nice and good representation of Argentinian households, people are actually a bit loud. Maybe also because the tables are close. The price is fair, I paid 67 € each for one starter and main meal each plus a bottle of wine for two. Must go!

Great meat. One of the best meat ever. Recommendation of wine was perfect. Great mood as well. :) Dish is quite big so donot order too many dishes.

Nice entree even though we expected something different but they were nice - the gazpacho was sensational just a bit small size. The steaks they're probably one of the best steaks you can get in Milano and we loved all the little side dishes you get complementary with the steaks. The restaurant vibe is great too!

The best meat I had in Milan. We ordered "grill for two" and the portion was huge, especially considering side dishes coming with it. Interior is nice and cozy, the restaurant was full, but somehow not noisy at all. One star less since waiters looked liked they didn't enjoy doing their work. Definitely would give it another try and would recommend it to friends.
