Sotto Il was a wonderful discovery! A welcoming and well-kept restaurant, with a truly pleasant location. The food is excellent, well-prepared and generous portions. The pizza is incredibly light, you can taste the long leavening: easy to digest and not at all heavy. The service is impeccable: the young staff is organized, attentive, and always courteous, with great attention to detail. The atmosphere is relaxed, with pleasant but never intrusive music, perfect for enjoying a quiet evening. To date, one of the best restaurants in the area, I will definitely be back. Kudos to the entire staff; keep up the good work!

Excellent restaurant: clean dishes and unbeatable value! Super-organized service, attentive, courteous, and friendly staff... they pay attention to every detail. If you want to enjoy something truly delicious, I highly recommend the paccheri with prawns and zucchini. So far, the best restaurant I've tried in the area... kudos to the kitchen and the entire staff (they're all young, too, which is always a pleasure). I wish you all the best; you'll be a great success!

Definitely the best meal I had this trip. I had both pizza and pasta which I ate until I could eat no more. The staff were very cute and nice even though I kept speaking Spanish instead of Italian to them.

This place is outstanding in terms of value for money, food and service. I almost don't want to let the word out because it would be nice to keep it a secret! This is Ligurian food at a reasonable price, full of locals with virtually no tourists!

So impressed with the quality for the price. The outside, if you can get a reservation for it, is beautiful, especially in the summer. The inside feels a little less impressive and is in some need of some renovation. The food is really good! Large pot of pasta to share was delightful, the tiramisu was freakin huge, the wait staff are friendly, the beer is Augustiner—a great Munich Lager— and the house wine, both red and white, are great, alongside the prices. All in all, if you’re in the area thiamine deserves a visit.
