My wife and I were literally saying that this has been the BEST experience we’ve ever had at a Denny's. Angel, our server, did amazing; she was attentive, polite, and worked hard. The hostess, Arlett, was also extremely nice and payed very close attention to detail. Overall the staff here goes above and beyond what anyone would expect from any restaurant, but especially a Denny’s. Amazing job!

Yesterday my 85 year old brother and I stopped in Denny’s. Seated quickly even though they were busy at lunchtime. My brother is very hard of hearing, so I asked to be moved to a quiet spot and was moved to a far corner , perfect. Our waitress, Cyna picked up the hearing problem and leaned in louder which was very sweet. We ordered and our food came out timely and perfect. We had to let it cool to eat it was hot off the stove. The service by Cyna was outstanding. Friendly but not intrusive. She had everything at one time including extra napkins. We were impressed by the food and the staff. All were friendly, smiled and acknowledged us when entering, but mostly the professionalism of Cyna who did an excellent job. We will be back. Oh I forgot to mention it was very affordable for two old seniors with the specials and senior meals.

I ate at the Akers location a few weeks ago and was very disappointed. The Mooney Blvd location was cleaner and staff was attentive. Server Tyler was great... kept our beverages full. The all you can eat breakfast will be gone soon to make room for holiday items and new specials. Mozzarella burger has 1 patty, sliced cheese and mozzarella cheese sticks inside which are very crispy and gooey. The strawberry 🍓 cake puppies are a must try and you can order in 6 or 10 pieces (comes with frosting) and tastes a little like funnel cake. Great for late night dining as there are not many locations in Visalia open past 9/10pm

In the middle of cold and flu season. Dennys restaurants don’t let employees take sick days. So before you run out to eat at any of their restaurants think about that and ask yourself if it’s worth it. To have someone who is sick cook your food, serve your food. There are many other restaurants that treat they’re employees better

Had to wait on the waitress and still got my coffee cold plus my kids got no straw so that took even longer to get. I saw other people get their food first that barely got there and they never gave me part of my order . Was there for about 2 hrs with bad service. When I payed I told them and all I got was a promo code that only deducted 1.99 which didn’t cover the missing food. Was not good service at all . Will NEVER go to the Porterville Dennys AGAIN.

12/7/25 4:00am - 5:22am Don't order in bulk over at this store. I order 5 sausage and gravys and because I order so many they put them in small sause cups. They had like a spoon full in each cup. Soni paid for 5 orders and got maybe 1 and a half possible 2. I called and the guy was like ya I not going to make that much gravy..... It's kinda your job isn't it. If I order 30 bacon order will i only get half that? Very disappointed.

Today 11/20/2025 at approximately 4:45 am I went to go pick up an Uber Eats order for a customer and had to use the restroom since it was my only time to safely use and asked the Latina Manager to Use it as usual and today she decided to racially profile me being that I am disabled and am not her national background, decided to accuse me of stealing her cell phone. You can look at your cameras right now and verify I never went near her cell phone nor near any of her work space. She was incredibly rude and almost refused to give me the order assigned to me I then showed her it was my own cell phone I have with the customers name attached. Even after it was proven she had her phone elsewhere she still acted like she was superior than I am and didn't even bother to apologize for the accusations. She doesn't need to be on her phone or have it where she's in a sanitary work place so there's no reason to accuse anyone of stealing anything if she's busy working. She should be paying attention to her job instead of fiddling with her phone to where she feels she will lose it. Should be in her locker or in her belongings!!! There needs to be a racial training for her since she thinks it's ok to accuse another person of Latin descent of stealing something she knew very well didn't break a law! And she needs to learn how to approach people! Not a single apology from her just straight up attitude and rude. Not the first time I've seen her disrespect Drivers.
